Why or why not? I like the conflict, the teamwork put into it, and the push to think harder for solutions. Just like any story.
Do you enjoy stories where players don't have any fixed ending in mind (no real objective or point) - they post based off the posts before, and put no real thought into where the story is going provided they are having fun (Poptart play)?[b] Fuck yes I do
[b]Why or why not? It feels more organic, more "real" to me, since shit just happens, and characters/players react accordingly. It's unpredictable and fun, and life needs a little more chaos and fun.
Do you want to return to the days of Bielefeld when people entertained themselves by going out to dinners, or taking walks on the beach, and where the most stressful thing was whether or not their fun would be disrupted by an invasion?[b] Sort of, yeah.
[b]Why? Not to knock the doom of the multiverse or Gali (both cool concepts), but I also enjoyed the relative normalcy that a sort of hub-city gave characters, and it gave them something to fight for bigger than the building.
Do you want to continue with the current theme of characters working as a team and going on missions to learn new things and get stuff? Sure, why not?
Why? It gives us something to do, and it does force us to work together. More teamwork is good.

Three boar. Two are with Drova now (Bran, feel free to write the running sow into your next post) and one is being ridden by Dora. This one will surely trample Giovenith and Marcus, which lends to good humor and rubber duckies. Please wrap this hunt up in whatever silly manner you'd like... the more outrageous, the better for us all.

Each player (excluding GMs and CoOPs) will have only two characters to use. Some characters are on stories and do not currently count towards that total; when they return, you might have to choose between which characters to run in order to avoid having more than two.


The questions I have for all of you are:

1) Which characters will you bring to the reboot?

2) There will be a 2-month gap between the Island and the reboot. Your selected Charters would be at the Building for this entire skipped period. What, if anything has each character done to stay busy? The answers can be whatever you think fits best with their personalities. Nila might have taught Ocho to drive a stick shift. Marcus might have finished work on his father's elevator project, possibly using it to avoid Giovenith's wrath. Deuce might have planned next spring's garden. Minerva might have bugged Romy about setting up patrols. Was there a funeral for Torii? Did characters attend? Did they spend the two months taking things easy and waiting for something to do?

1) Katya, and as for my other two currently? Still debating.

2) In two months? Katya will have spent time in both the holodeck and outdoors, practicing her swordsmanship and hunting as a way to distract herself and cope with Torii being gone. Outside of that, she would have tried to open up her cafe, spending her time there trying to be social and upbeat, but still down in the dumps and seemingly disheveled to a degree. She'd have also taken up smoking again to cope, and drinking a bit more liberally. Despite all of her work, she still would try to keep up her usual appearance and personality around the building in an attempt to keep some normalcy in her life; she'd be bored shitless, living alone.

A'ight, that all sounds right...maybe.
