Any idea how the ranking system in the Confederacy works?

Well there's the Council which is the head of government, the executive branch and the legislative branch. Currently a new head of state is needed which a vote will be called for in the IC the player that wins the election will lead the CIS where they want.

The Commander-in-chief is also needed as well.

The Confederacy had a single Head of State, and beneath him was the Separatist Council. The official leader of the Confederacy was a former Jedi Master named Count Dooku, who was also Darth Tyranus, Darth Sidious's second known apprentice. Operating between the Head of State and the Separatist Council was the Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies, General Grievous who had no direct power over government but assumed command should the Head of State be incapacitated. If both Dooku and Grievous are incapacitated then Nute Gunray would take over as Head of State, being the head of Council (leading member to finance the war). Operating alongside the council was the Separatist Parliament[1] who dealt with diplomatic and civilian issues.[1] However, the real power behind the Confederacy was the Sith Lord Sidious, though few knew, such as Tyranus, that he had control.[4][6]

The Separatist Council consisted of ten leaders. Each leader had his or her own people who followed his/her decisions. The Separatist Council consisted of :

If the former, I'm good with that. If the latter, anger Vader enough and you get tortured with the kind of force lightning that hurts Celestials, literal incarnations of the Force itself. That means you are very, very likely to die unless force sensitive; and even then, you risk extreme burns, pain and a near-death experience from even the briefest exposure.

Void, no, just no. I'm worried you're gonna go too OP with this. Just standard usual Sith powers.

Anyway, sorry for the delay but the apps will be run through tonight.

Roger that.

Also, I would like to know what's the deal about cloning Grievous. All I would need is his brain, some internal organs, and a bit of time and luck.

The brain would be the toughest. I would hope that there would either be salvageable parts (from Grievous himself) or a few spare parts from many of Grievous's lairs.

If there is a final stamp of "aw hell naw" on Grievous 2.0, then I have a backup plan.

Name: Asajj Ventress

Age: Unknown

Gender: Female

Allegiance paid to: None

Rank (if it applies): None

Appearance (Picture appreciated): http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/sta ... 0724125609

Personality: Snarky, Cautious, but more compassionate now then not.

Force Sensitive: Yes

Skills/Powers: Telekinesis, Mind Tricks, Force Choke, Self-Enhancement through Force, Master of Jar'Kai and Hand-to-hand combat

Weaponry (If any): Yellow-Bladed Variable Length Lightsaber, DE-10 Blaster Pistol, Two short-blade vibroswords

Ship (If any): Banshee II

Biography (At least a well written Paragraph please): During the Clone Wars, many things changed in Asajj Ventress' life. Accepted as a Sith Acolyte by Count Dooku, Ventress had helped pave the way for attacks against the Republic, and earned herself the animosity of many for her actions. Ventress, however, was ambitious, and planned her own goals. After mutual betrayals between her and Count Dooku, Ventress fled and took up the life of a Bounty Hunter, joining in with a group led by Boba Fett. After a mission on Quarzite, she left them and continued on by herself.

Afterwards she attempted to hunt down her former pawn, Savage Opress and ended up saving Obi-Wan Kenobi's life. Later, she assisted in proving Ahsoka Tano's innocence in a bombing case. Following this, she acquired her ship, the Banshee, and participated in many other jobs, including work with Jedi Quinlan Vos, who later became her lover. Vos, who had been assigned by the Jedi Council to learn Count Dooku's habits in order to assassinate him, began to learn from her some of the dark ways of the force, to better have a chance at beating Dooku, in her own words.

They worked together for most of the rest of the war, up until the confrontation with Dooku on Christophsis. There, Ventress claimed that Dooku had slain Vos and escaped. No one has been able to ascertain to whether this is true, but it had been accepted by the Jedi who reviewed the events of the mission. Since then, Ventress has been laying low, rebuilding her ship, and staying out of the public eye.

RP Example: I would, but I'm lazy. I'm sure you remember me tho.

Name: Kath Frey
Age: 53
Gender: Male
Allegiance paid to: "Desperate Measures" PMC
Rank (if it applies): Captain
Appearance (Picture appreciated):

Personality: Eccentric, and Energetic. Loves to crack jokes.

Force Sensitive: No.

Skills/Powers: Skilled Hand to Hand, Expert Sharpshooter

Weaponry (If any): TL-50 Heavy Repeater, Compressed Air Slugthrower, Vibroknife

Ship (If any): HWK-290 light freighter "Honorable Intentions"

Biography (At least a well written Paragraph please): Kath Frey has been a life-long soldier. From combating pirates in the outer rim, to protecting diplomats when the Republic couldn't. Risking his life for others. For thirty-three years, Kath Frey has been one of the best of his PMC, Desperate Measures Security. The Clone Wars had seen an up-spike in worlds too isolated from the Republic to gain their assistance, so they called on private militaries, ones like Desperate Measures, for protection and the raising of their own militias. And the Separatists certainly gave them action alright. Frey had spent much of the Clone Wars hopping from planet to planet, reinforcing garrisons and teaching the locals how to fight. And for the most part, he enjoyed it.

But, with the end of the Clone wars, the revelations that had come out had shocked him. Gone was the Republic that he had helped. In its place, a seemingly fascist dictatorship. On the one hand, he had been glad that the war was all but over. To have some semblance of peace. But on the other, what had happened to the freedom that he had fought for? Sure he was a mercenary, but he still fought and bled alongside those who believed in the Republic. What had happened to that? And even worse yet, rumors of other PMCs being forcibly shut down by the Empire, in order to keep down on militants. Now, in a changing galaxy, Kath must decide on whether he will allow the wheels of change to turn, or to join the ones he fought to destroy a potentially worse evil.

RP Example: Same as above
Notes: Private Darien Caranthyr, Private Mai Manten, Private Janos Sutherland, and Corporal Ramirez Fengris

I'm not particularly pleased about either my synopsis of Ventress's Bio, or my bio of Kath, but I'm usually pretty bad on those due to them causing writers block for me.

Gen should only have force lightning. As a Sith shooting lighting isn't hard. But controlling what you shoot and how strong is a serious forum of study and practice. Sidious is only able to torture some and kill others because of his mastery over the dark side of the force. I'd say with his rage and strong connection to the force he'd have a pretty spicy force lighting. But I don't think he's been Vader long enough to do any of the fancy shit yet

Name: Jhassa

Age: 34

Gender: Female

Allegiance paid to: Rebel Alliance; Shasa Corporation

Appearance:
Image

Personality: Jhassa, being a doctor and raised to care for others, is very compassionate towards most living things. Seeing the beauty and importance of all life, and believing that the mystical Force flows through all living things. She has an inclination to help almost all injured or sick individuals, no matter what side they're on, and is only restrained if influences outside of her control prohibit her from doing so. Despite this compassionate personality, Jhassa is the head of a corporation, and while she does use it to aid in her ideals, she understands the needs of the corporation and works to maintain its stability. As such, she can sometimes come off as too corporate minded and this can curtail her actual effort to help others.

She was fiercely loyal to the Republic, as her parents raised her to be. She found the ideas of democracy and freedom to be the cornerstone of a peaceful society, and believes that she should support those ideals, rather than maintain the neutrality of her homeworld. Thus when the Empire was founded, and democracy seemingly swept under the rug, Jhassa sided with the Rebel Alliance in secret to help in the restoration of democracy. She despises the Empire for desecrating the legacy of the Republic, and has a dislike towards the reformed CIS due to its predecessors role in her parents' death as well as going against the Republic in the past.

Despite not being Force Sensitive, Jhassa has strong beliefs in the Force. Taught the ideas of the Jedi by a friend in the Clone Wars, Jhassa applied the teachings in what ways she can to her life. She believes the Force flows through everything, and while she cannot feel it, she can imagine it and seeks to be an instrument of the Force in her pursuit to help in healing life in the galaxy.

Force Sensitive: No

Skills/Powers:
-Medicine - Jhassa, above all, is a doctor. Her expertise in medicine and biology of several species is unmatched by the majority of her peers, and is a noted doctor working with the Rebel Alliance.
-Economics/Trade - Jhassa is the head of the Shasa Corporation, an entity dedicated to the trade of medicine, medical droids, and medical experts in the galaxy. Particularly centered around Manaan, however its corporate reach extends well over the galaxy.
-Espionage - As a secret supporter and smuggler for the Rebellion, Jhassa had to learn how to find secrets and maneuver around Imperial lines to get supplies and information to the Rebels. Her time doing so for the Rebellion has made her an adept at doing so.
-Naval Command - While by no means an admiral on the level of skill, Jhassa has learned various tactics to defend small ships in the events of pirate attacks, or in escaping Imperial or CIS patrols. She is competent at commanding small groups of ships, especially in hit-and-run and in defensive situations.

Weaponry: Model Q2 hold-out blaster

Ship: The Blue Gem - A Hammerhead Corvette provided as a donation by the House of Organa in support of Shasa Corporations humanitarian aid, named after the homeworld of Manaan by Jhassa.

Biography: Born on the Selkath homeworld of Manaan, Jhassa was raised by doctors working in the employ of the Republic. Despite the common neutral nature of the Selkath, Jhassa's parents were supporters of the Republic and were not afraid to show their support on their homeplanet or in their travels. The young Selkath was raised similarly to a spacer, travelling the galaxy with her parents wherever they were needed by the Republic. On forlorn worlds hit with famine or disease, to settlements attacked by pirates and so on. They did so through the Shasa Corporation, a company dedicated to providing medicine and healthcare, particularly in the Republic. This early life formed Jhassa into the caring doctor she is today, and she took up her parents' careers when she came of age, dedicating herself to serving the Republic through healing and becoming a prominent doctor in Shasa Corporation.

With the outbreak of the Clone Wars, Shasa Corporation went under a crisis of leadership over whether or not to remain with the Republic or provide care to both it and the CIS. Jhassa's parents supported openly siding with the Republic, while most corporate rivals wanted to work both sides of the war to maximize profit as well as maintain a semblance of neutrality. It was settled that Shasa Corporation would stay with the Republic, but would provide aid on wartorn worlds despite supporters. Of course, this wasn't an issue for Jhassa's parents as the majority of the Separatist Army were droids, thus not applicable to their area of expertise. Jhassa herself headed a ship known as the Blue Gem, a ship donated to the Shasa Corporation by the House of Organa for their support in humanitarian aid and the Republic war effort, and lead several missions to war-torn planets including secret aid to the rebels on Onderon.

It was on one such mission that Jhassa worked with a Jedi Healer on the planet of Ryloth, healing injured Twi'leks. The Jedi Healer worked with Jhassa closely, and the two became relatively familiar with each other in the field hospitals of the planet. She grew familiar enough that the Jedi shared some ideas on the idea of the Living Force, and how the Force flows through all living creatures. While not Force Sensitive herself, this philosophy fit well into Jhassa's perspective of the world, and she grew to have a belief in the Living Force as well, despite not being sensitive to it. The Jedi Healer would accompany Jhassa on several other missions, further discussing philosophy. The Jedi, however, was dispatched and killed in the Clone Wars, much to Jhassa's grief.

As the Clone Wars came closer to a close, Jhassa's parents were killed in the Separatist attack on Coruscant. Through leadership and maneuvering, Jhassa became the head of the Shasa Corporation. She continued its operations through the rest of the Clone Wars going into the dark reign of the Galactic Empire. Being an acquaintance and ally of House Organa, Jhassa was invited to join the Rebellion relatively early in its development. She maneuvered Shasa Corporate assets to support Rebel interests, as well as use her own resources and abilities to funnel money and supplies into the Rebel cause.

Of the Rebel supporters on Manaan, she is considered the primary representative to their cause, of those who know of her involvement. Jhassa is also often regarded as the representative of Manaan within the Alliance to Restore the Republic's leadership, though Manaan itself remains neutral in the conflict.

RP Example:
Star Wars: Rise of an Empire - OOC/IC
Assassin's Creed Spring of Nations - OOC/IC
Dragon Age: Origins - OOC/IC

Notes:
- Shasa Corporation: A corporate entity that controls a sizeable amount of medical and healthcare resources flowing out of Manaan. Jhassa being the head has made use of the corporation in order to help fund and supply the Rebels.
- A small convoy of ships comprising of her ship, the Blue Gem, and 2 Corellian Corvettes.

Not even slightly. Dooku was a count and Planet landowner after leaving the Jedi order. He had clout and political influence. The empty head of state position is likely being contested by the Mega-corporations, banking and mining clans and major political figures in the CIS

I might be misremembering about Ventress, but didn't she die at some point?

Pretty sure.

Even if you did clone Grievous he would have NONE of the cybernetics that he had, the clone would look like he did before Dooku caused his ship to crash:

You are misunderstanding, I am planning on using the spare parts already present in Grievous's various lairs namely organs and cybernetic implants.

My plan for a Grievous 2.0 is pretty much that, Grievous reborn. There of course may be some extra biological enhancements, but I'd rather cut costs by cloning(or implanting) the important parts (brain and some organs, as well as appropriate nerves and biofluid systems) into a cybernetic body.

Of course, said project will be rough and take years, and he won't be running around and slashing shit up...yet.

Not even slightly. Dooku was a count and Planet landowner after leaving the Jedi order. He had clout and political influence. The empty head of state position is likely being contested by the Mega-corporations, banking and mining clans and major political figures in the CIS

Though, to be fair, the apprentice could have injected themselves into a position of power, much like Sideous, Plagueis and other dark side users have in the past

This can not be stressed enough that cloning is not a readily available technology in the Star Wars universe. And truly without the rescources of the galactic empire or the knowledge of the Kaminoians, you would not be able to clone a general grevious that contained his memories, skills or personality. All you would make is a Kaleesh who simply is a physical clone of grevious

In just telling him his dark Jedi can't just run for no reason. His character would need to have influence. In the CIS specifically he'd need financial influence

This makes sense. It was more just out of curiosity... although now I'm a bit interested.

Just need to think of how to do that whole financial influence part.

Also, since I think my earlier question might've been buried by other posts, is Obi-Wan available to RP?

*cough cough* depose with power of Separatist Parliament electing new President/Speaker/Head of State or if you absolutely have to deal with those money grubbers, do so as a puppeteer. All you need is their money and resources, right? *cough cough cough*

GG no Re.

Expect an APP soon. I trust the Rebellion isn't in full swing yet and it's largely Separatist vs. Empire, yes?
