I like the Dawnstar house. All snowy and stuff.

Dragonborn's great. You get Solstheim, a bunch of new questlines, and a much better antagonist than Alduin

(two of them, in fact)

. Dawnguard doesn't add as much, but the quest is good. The constant vampire attacks can get annoying, though.

Morrowind, why are you so broken at times?
You'd beat out Daggerfall as my favorite if it wasn't for hand to hand knock down, magic, and agility light sword builds being absolutely overpowered.

Are their any mods that actually try to balance the combat, not the mod that changes it so every swing lands?

Does anyone else leave Dragonborn for the end? Ive always liked going to Solstheim and facing Miraak after ive beaten Alduin, always saw it as a fitting ending to Skyrim's story, the first dragonborn and the last.

I usually do dawnguard at various points alongside the main story and then finish it about half way through.

It's a good ending storywise, but a much stronger DLC to go for in the early game, gameplay-wise. In the game I've been playing recently, I did my best to get Dragonborn going pretty early. The rewards from the Black Books are really strong and always useful. The earlier you get those, the better, I say. The Dremora Merchant, specifically, served his purpose admirably, especially before I got my Thieves Guild fence network set up.

Illusion and alteration using thief/assassin, to be specific.

I really miss the alteration in Oblivion. It just seemed so much better and more useful in a bunch of situations.

I've actually used spells maybe twice or thrice in my 200-something hours. Never really saw a use for them.

So i have Skyrim on Steam, and i automatically got the special edition when it came out, ive been thinking of going back to Skyrim and im wondering whether or not i should install the special edition or not, i can still get mods for it, just have to use that nexus thing, but im wondering if it would be of any real difference since i have access to a fuckton of mods via steam for the regular one.

Guess ill just google and see what the special edition gives compared to the base regular one.

So i started Skyrim again with the random spawn mod, alongside many others, and it fecking spawned me in the middle of a forsworn camp, killed one and then ran like a bitch as archers and a hagraven attacked me from above and some lunatic with two swords charged me.

Almost ended just as it begun.

-In Oblivion you can create your own spells.
-Merchants don't run out of money.
-Patrick Stewart as Uriel Septim.
-Enchanted arrows.
-I like the lockpicking.
-Launching an extended campaign against Oblivion gates that can eat up 5 hours.
-Mix and match armor types(Ebony boots,Elven greaves,Crusader armor,Madness helmet)
-The Shivering isles and being able to summon both a Golden Saint and Dark Seducers.
-Sheogorath.

I play on a Playstation 3 so I don't use mods for either game.
