I still love you regardless though.

Welcome back Cormac, we all missed you dearly - I hope your few days off have been quite a relaxing experience.
This being said, why am I not actually surprised that shortly after you are back from "retirement" you already started to troll people in NSGP again?
Have you thought of the possibility that TSP is no TGW outpost but rather was defender leaning all along? Did you just come back to put TSP sovereignty into question? If yes, I envy you for being so horrible bored.
However, if TSP is a TGW outpost, then TWP must be "Raider's Disneyland" in your eyes, correct? And according to your logic TP must be the outpost of people not even playing this game, correct?
Amazing.

Raids a raid, dude. Just because invader jimmies get rustled by our methods doesn't mean we're not doing our own style of raiding. This kind of invader elitism is what's making Gameplay sad, rather than great again!

I wouldn't call normal gameplay banter "trolling." There was nothing particularly noteworthy about my (relatively light-hearted) criticism of TSP's military policy; you might have heard it from just about any raider. :eyebrow:

To be fair, Cormac, the initial post you made on The South Pacific's military policy didn't read as overly lighthearted; the second one was significantly more lighthearted. Definitely not trolling though, people are entitled to their gameplay opinions regardless of how everyone else may perceive them. As for The South Pacific's military policy, perhaps that may be more appropriate to be addressed in TSP's thread or in more closed channels. While The Grey Wardens love our TSP friends, this is ultimately a gameplay thread about The Grey Wardens rather than TSP.

Also Brun is right, Roavin is s00per mean.

The CRS would have to prepare for another counter-coup in order for Roavin to do that, I imagine, given the history of paranoia and conspiracies about TSP being taken over by defenders...

"This way," I whispered, pretending to keenly interpret the telltale signs of darkspawn activity. There might have only been five of us, but we were armed to the teeth, descending into the Deep Roads to seek out a good fight. After walking one way and the other, squinting at my phone in the darkness (Hey, it's 2016, we have Google Maps and all), we came across the ruins of a mine.

"This is the place!" I proudly exclaimed. Swords drawn, my fellow wardens and allies skittishly peered and strained to spot darkspawn. I, on the other hand, finally got that damn Jigglypuff to pop up. CP 709, holy crap, that's gotta have some good IVs! Warden Lenlyvit had interest as well, but his cell reception sucked too badly to catch it. I tossed it a razz berry, but the thing began to jump and sing. "J-I-G-G-A-L-Y P-U-U-U-F-F, J-I-G-G-A-L-Y P-U-U-U-F-F..."

"Roavin, NOOOOOOOO!"

Our First Warden yawned and then nodded straight off to sleep. Repeated attempts to wake him up were futile. I finally nailed that little ****puffer with a curve ball, but the damage was done. Roavin typically slept 14 hours a day, we'd never be able to wake him in time.

Resigned to the temporary loss of our dearest leader, we proceeded in silence. Down, down into the depths of the mine, where no ordinary man or woman dare set foot. The dwarf lords dug a little too deep and too greedily. There were things far worse than darkspawn in the deep places of the world.

"Over there!"

Spec Forces Vietnam (#1 triggahboi) of course was the first to spot the darkspawn. There weren't many of the hideous creatures, but they were really moving. This was going to be one hell of a chase! There was no need for stealth, they could feel our presence. We went straight at them, swords flashing, arrows flying, blood splashing. The battle swung back and forth as they led us out of the Deep and across the Tagfields. At one point, they got quite tricksy, sending one out as a distraction and then jumping there after we pulled out.

After a grueling, nearly two hour chase, we emerged with 8 victories! The darkspawn vanished back into the Deep Roads and we returned to Weisshaupt. There, the celebration continued well into the morning. I sat among friends, belly full of meats, mouth full of hahd liquah, SDF Storm rolling on the ground laughing at bad jokes, and a new Jigglypuff. It was certainly a good night!

Commander Tim Stark leading the people to freedom

Commander Stark crawled out of his tent drowsily, heating up a pot of coffee on the campfire, telling Siri to set a timer for 10 minutes so that he wouldn't completely burn it. Ten minutes later, he was sitting back and enjoying a nice cup of Warden's Grog, as the blend of coffee which most of the Wardens drank had come to be known. It seemed like it might even be a quiet morning, without any Darkspawn hives to root out, but that thought was dispelled when the call to arms was sounded throughout the camp. Sighing, Tim suited up and went to survey the battle plan laid out for the day. Without a doubt, there was a lot of land to cover, with six Wardens present for the operation, as well as nine staunch allies from the Ten-Thousand Islands Treaty Organization, Renegade Islands Alliance Special Forces, South Pacific Special Forces, the United Defender Brotherhood, and the Spiritus Defense Force.

The patrol began slowly, with defender forces mostly passing through towns and villages which had been in the way of the blight, helping the citizens repair what they could in a short span of time. However, the events heated up when a Blighthawk was spotted circling Nations Without a Region, with scouts reporting that an entire encampment of Darkspawn in ancient Roman armor had settled in the region. With ease, however, the Wardens fell upon the Darkspawn, helping the natives of the region push them out with extreme prejudice. No resistance from the darkness was seen as order was restored. By this time, some of the troops from TITO and SPSF had to head off, but the rest pushed onward. This was followed by another skirmish in Eternal Scholars, though alas a fierce wind blew away the Darkspawn tracks, causing forces to arrive to too late to be of great effect.

With the patrol heading back home, the day was still regarded as a success, when a familiar shriek was heard. Darkspawn from the desert regions of the world had developed a very distinct sound due to the harsh, arid climate in which they thrived, and it was that shriek which was noticed in the ruined region of Kantrias. While the claims were that said Darkspawn were there to guard against Wardens, the liberators could smell a brazen stealth operation on the wind. With overwhelming force, and facing no resistance, the fragility of the desert Darkspawn was demonstrated as they were cut down in their sleep, their bodies burned in the realms of those rejected. We look forward to it being dubbed a training exercise.
