I'm making a robotics and cybernetics guy, but we current have no one who would tinker with vehicles, power armor and the like. Is that what you mean?

You can play the role of the more mundane staff, such as janitor or cook. You could work as a receptionist or a secretary, which would be fairly easy cause Paragon hardly ever gets visitors. You could also make a PR specialist, trying desperately to spin Paragon in a good light.
Alternatively, it doesn't look like we have anyone from the other factions. You could make a character who's a stereotypical member of one of those groups, then push those traits to their ridiculous extremes. A gangster who uses 1950's mobster slang? An Apex Beastmaster who used pigeons and other actual creatures instead of the drones they were assigned? A hard-boiled detective with a smoking and drinking problem, who's thinks everything is one big conspiracy that needs to be solved?

OH! PR specialist sounds cool! Thanks for the help!

Hey, it's your character; go as far as you see fit for your comedy. Will they be performing the slapstick, or merely be the recipient of it?
And perhaps. But what kind of favor would convince him/her to stay full time instead of, say, balancing the books once then getting the heck out of Dodge?

Yeah you can play a straight man. So long as they've got some flaw, you're fine. Desmond, my straight man, is a fairly normal ex-merc bodyguard type, but can't drive to save his life. Give them something funny and your fine.Shark isle wrote:The recipient of it. Mostly from himself, due to his bad eyesight and sometimes from other characters, mostly the CEO and her Assistant. The favor can be old, sure, but make sure you explain why he'll stay with Paragon after the debt is paid. Cause seriously, Paragon's not a great place to work at, at least not until we either spruce it up/get to know each other.
