A business has decided to open, yet promotes an idea/service or sells a product that is extremely unpopular in your nation. What restrictions could come about by social attitudes?
No "restrictions" are necessary. If people don't want to buy the stuff that's sold there, they just won't shop there, and they'll probably close down once they realise they're not making any money.

A company, that seems prospecting in its industry, has expressed its want to come to your nation from a foreign nation. What, if any, are the restrictions?
We let them in...

A corporation has sought to over-use its rights, to the point that lawsuits and legal trouble may follow, both by consumers and by the corporation's practices itself. What, if any, are the possible restrictions?
We're not 100% sure what this question is suppoed to be about.

A small business has recently lost a considerable amount of its income after an extremely unpopular foreign "ultramarket" has moved in, hurting the local economy with its foreign practices that are dangerously varying from your nations. What, if any, are the restrictions?
Obviosuly it's not so "unpopular" if people are actually shopping there. No restrictions.

The local economy is taking a major plunge due to a new trend known as Globalization. What, if any, are the restrictions?
No restrictions

A certain industry is falling short, and could be crippled if action is not taken. What is the reaction of the Government?
We let the market take its course.

Social attitudes don't restrict the sale of an unpopular item.

Let them in.

A corporation has sought to over-use its rights, to the point that lawsuits and legal trouble may follow, both by consumers and by the corporation's practices itself. What, if any, are the possible restrictions?

Any legally questionable practices will be dealt with by the courts.

A small business has recently lost a considerable amount of its income after an extremely unpopular foreign "ultramarket" has moved in, hurting the local economy with its foreign practices that are dangerously varying from your nations. What, if any, are the restrictions

It fails because of the general publics suspicion of big business and it's atrocious business practices.

The local economy is taking a major plunge due to a new trend known as Globalization. What, if any, are the restrictions?

A business has decided to open, yet promotes an idea/service or sells a product that is extremely unpopular in your nation. What restrictions could come about by social attitudes?
No restriction from the governement - people would not buy its prodcuts, perhaps some will convince customers to also boycott other products by this company. Company would lose money.

A company, that seems prospecting in its industry, has expressed its want to come to your nation from a foreign nation. What, if any, are the restrictions?
No restrictions - they may come in and invest their money.

A corporation has sought to over-use its rights, to the point that lawsuits and legal trouble may follow, both by consumers and by the corporation's practices itself. What, if any, are the possible restrictions?
Company wouldnt be able to overuse much of its rights, because of effective and just judical system. Also, "copyrights" and "patents" expire very quickly (between 5-11 years)in Snifkowoland. Customers would most like become pissed off at the company for suing them, and would boycott its products.

A small business has recently lost a considerable amount of its income after an extremely unpopular foreign "ultramarket" has moved in, hurting the local economy with its foreign practices that are dangerously varying from your nations. What, if any, are the restrictions?
Since our economy is "Powerhouse" new entrant wouldnt be able to make much damage. We wouldnt care if it kicked out other competition from local market. Also why it would be unpopular if its provides goods at lower prices (otherwise it wouldnt succesfully moved in) than previous small bussiness? It would face no restrictions.

The local economy is taking a major plunge due to a new trend known as Globalization. What, if any, are the restrictions?
Local economy wouldnt take plunge, it would become stronger because of globalization, because our economy is competitive. No restrictions.

A certain industry is falling short, and could be crippled if action is not taken. What is the reaction of the Government?
No Intervention - let them rise and fall on their own merit.

A certain industry is falling short, and could be crippled if action is not taken. What would the nation expect to happen if Government Intervention ensued?
Massive demonstration against "bailing out" this industry at taxpayers expense. But our king would never do that, so question doesnt really apply here.

A business has decided to open, yet promotes an idea/service or sells a product that is extremely unpopular in your nation. What restrictions could come about by social attitudes?

Promotes an idea? We'll be sending all the employees into a rehabilitation center, our methods may be brutal but they work. They must only approve of our policies and nothing else, no questions.

A company, that seems prospecting in its industry, has expressed its want to come to your nation from a foreign nation. What, if any, are the restrictions?

Depends on the nation that it comes from. If they come from a nation with similar policies then they could come but they will be heavily monitored (preferably unknowingly).

A corporation has sought to over-use its rights, to the point that lawsuits and legal trouble may follow, both by consumers and by the corporation's practices itself. What, if any, are the possible restrictions?

Rights? They only seem like rights because we're feigning freedom. The employees and the heads of the corporation would have to be re-educated to be more obedient with the system.

A small business has recently lost a considerable amount of its income after an extremely unpopular foreign "ultramarket" has moved in, hurting the local economy with its foreign practices that are dangerously varying from your nations. What, if any, are the restrictions?

If we can kill them and destroy/seize their assets with little to no consequence then we would do it. Though usually we would have a control over this by manipulating the economy.

The local economy is taking a major plunge due to a new trend known as Globalization. What, if any, are the restrictions?

We are not a globalized economy. We would never open ourselves up to "everyone".

A certain industry is falling short, and could be crippled if action is not taken. What is the reaction of the Government?
A) No Intervention B)A Form of Intervention with the result of Low Inflation C) A Form of Intervention with the result of High Inflation

A) No Intervention, corporations exist to grow fat and die eventually. There will always be a new one to take its place, though we will take full control to stabilize it if there's long term consequences.

A certain industry is falling short, and could be crippled if action is not taken. What would the nation expect to happen if Government Intervention ensued?
A)Low Inflation B) High Inflation

A)Low Inflation, the government already has a pretty solid control anyways.

Code: Select all
A business has decided to open, yet promotes an idea/service or sells a product that is extremely unpopular in your nation. What restrictions could come about by social attitudes?

Well, if people are not interested in what is offered, they will not buy it. If, well, the company for example politically supports offensive ideas, boycotts might result.

Code: Select all
A company, that seems prospecting in its industry, has expressed its want to come to your nation from a foreign nation. What, if any, are the restrictions?

There are some regulations concerning language: If they decide to create a sub-company in Rejistania, this institution must have a name that is pronouncable and expressable in the Rejistanian alphabet. Apart from that, pretty much the usual stuff that burdens domestic companies.

Code: Select all
A corporation has sought to over-use its rights, to the point that lawsuits and legal trouble may follow, both by consumers and by the corporation's practices itself. What, if any, are the possible restrictions?

This of course very much depends on what is happening where. A sweatshop in the Xentira can get away with a lot more than a company in a richer area of the country. Generally, Rejistanis hate to sue and prefer to settle issues out of court.

Code: Select all
A small business has recently lost a considerable amount of its income after an extremely unpopular foreign "ultramarket" has moved in, hurting the local economy with its foreign practices that are dangerously varying from your nations. What, if any, are the restrictions?

If it is unpopular, why is it competing successfully? and the practices which are 'dangerously varying'... are they actually dangerous to life or health of anyone or just different. As long as nothing illegal happens, it is probably business as usual though. Consumers can choose to go for the new ultramarket (they generally don't fo a number of reasons) or not.
On an OOC note: companies like WalMart do a lot of things right in the US, but areby no means a force of nature. Note that WalMart went out if business on Germany because Germans do not like the idea of a hypermarché for away from public transport.

Code: Select all
The local economy is taking a major plunge due to a new trend known as Globalization. What, if any, are the restrictions?

Oh, we are actually the other side. You know, when companies outsource their manual labour to a foreign country, this is one of the places they go. Sweatshops might not be nice places of employment, but they do provide a higher quality of life than what xentirans normally do.

Code: Select all
A certain industry is falling short, and could be crippled if action is not taken. What is the reaction of the Government?
 A) No Intervention B)A Form of Intervention with the result of Low Inflation C) A Form of Intervention with the result of High Inflation

It depends on where it is located and what it does. Generally, A or B are possibilities. While Rejistania does not subsidize, creation of better infrastructure is for example one of the possible interventions for a company.

Code: Select all
A certain industry is falling short, and could be crippled if action is not taken. What would the nation expect to happen if Government Intervention ensued?
A)Low Inflation B) High Inflation

We do not have a fiat currency. so interventions would not result in high inflation.

The general reply to all of the questions is that there are no particular restrictions. However, a major factor would be Fatatatutti's Workers' Rights legislation, which allows the workers to take over control of their workplace. Any company which operates in a way that seems detrimental to the welfare of the workers and/or society as a whole would be highly susceptible to such take-overs.

In our nation social attitudes have no effect on business restrictions.

A company, that seems prospecting in its industry, has expressed its want to come to your nation from a foreign nation. What, if any, are the restrictions?
If the company does not come from a country which we have a sour relationship with then there are no restrictions.

A corporation has sought to over-use its rights, to the point that lawsuits and legal trouble may follow, both by consumers and by the corporation's practices itself. What, if any, are the possible restrictions?
Well if people want to sue a company over illegal practices they have that right.

A small business has recently lost a considerable amount of its income after an extremely unpopular foreign "ultramarket" has moved in, hurting the local economy with its foreign practices that are dangerously varying from your nations. What, if any, are the restrictions
Usually the public's paranoia of foreign big business would prevent this situation from ever happening, but if such a hypothetical situation were to occur then the government might have to force a quota or tariff on that 'ultramarket'.

The local economy is taking a major plunge due to a new trend known as Globalization. What, if any, are the restrictions?
There are economically pro-Rhodian regulations which would prevent this from happening to such a large degree.

A certain industry is falling short, and could be crippled if action is not taken. What is the reaction of the Government?
The government will do all in its power to make sure the industry can be up and running smoothly again.
