Therefor, I am officially making the Plea to Protect Lurker's Rights to Privacy and Invisibility (henceforth known as PPLRPI), and to add a thingamabob to the User Control Panel where you can choose whether or not you want the multitudes to know you dwell among them.

That is all. I shall for now mysteriously vanish and only occasionally return into the glaring spotlight in order to heck up on this thread. It is, after all, not like I am addicted to NS fora and their inhabitants, or anything.

If you hit 'Post Reply' before logging in, it takes you to a log-in page that doesn't work right now but that has a check box allowing you, it seems, to log in and hide your status as well.

So it may be that you can log in and ninja post as well, I think this was only available to Mods on the Jolt boards so that might remain the case here but, if you wish upon a star, your dream may come true.

For me personally, I don't care if I'm seen or not. But I do believe the option should be there. On any off site forums I may be on I don't even pay that option no attention, however, I do know that it is there if I feel like I need to use it. But that has never happened. So I say let the option to hide or not be there for those who want it.
