As you can see, gentlemen, this time I beat you all to the punch.

Welcome fellow rightists (and left-wing visitors) to the sixth incarnation of the Right-Wing Discussion Thread, first founded in December 2015 by Kauthar. That's right, we've been here for almost a year now. Expect many more Warhammer 40K and anime references, pointless replays of the same-old arguments about who is and isn't a right-winger and maybe, just maybe, some genuinely interesting discussion.

To quote the OPs of past iterations, we've had a good run- let's not end it any time soon.

Acceptable topics for discussion:

• Right-wing politics
• History in the context of the topic
• Related issues.

Thread guidelines:

• Keep discussion on-topic. Remember this is a discussion thread about right-wing politics, not a discussion thread for right-wing people. As long as discussion topics are vaguely related to right-wing politics, it's kosher.
• Be respectful of other posters in the thread, even if you really, really don't want to. Hell, if I can do it, you can do it.
• As with any thread in NSG, anyone can post here, right-wing or not. That doesn't mean blatant trolling will be tolerated, of course.
• It ought to go without saying, but all the usual NationStates forum rules still apply here, as laid out in the One Stop Rules Shop.

• Someone asks what the most right-wing category of something totally irrelevant to politics is.
• A left-winger appears, makes a dismissive or vaguely insulting comment, then disappears without making any effort to debate.
• Someone calls someone else a "liberal" in spite of the fact that they are blatantly not a liberal.
• Someone attempts to impose their arbitrary and counter-intuitive definition of "right-wing" on everyone else, who are all naturally excluded by said definition.
• A raging debate breaks out about LGBT issues.
• OP asks for poll suggestions, promptly ignores all suggestions from people he doesn't like.
• A left-winger enters and begins ferociously attacking a political strawman with no relevance to the previous topic of discussion.
• A right-winger appears with views corresponding almost exactly to the above strawman, causing most other right-wingers in the thread to smash their heads against their desks repeatedly until they pass out from severe brain damage and internal bleeding.
• Someone, not naming names UMN begins waifuposting
• An NSG veteran reminisces about the time when the NSG Right was still respectable.
• Conscentia questions whether a post is on topic.
• Swallow a shekel every time "The Happy Merchant" drops a signature 'OY VEY!'
• Dio blames Degeneracy on good ol' Rock n' Roll
• Down a keg of blood every time Warhammer is referenced.
• Down a pot of cotton candy every time someone uses an Anime term

Depends. For certain western traditions you could call the Bible itself the most influential in the development of certain ideologies. Others would say Adam Smith's and Locke's works contributed a lot.

Depends on where you look at it.

Also, it's hard to say which has been the most influential. I think it would be dependent on country and particular right-wing ideology. Burke for example has clearly been quite influential on many an Anglosphere right-winger (particularly conservatives). But the right in, say, Germany is more influenced by other works and figures.
