Birdpass Industries were funded in 1887 by John Templeton, a wealthy owner of a mining site in Hot Island, northwest of Birdpass. Initially, it was a small forge dedicated to the internal market, but it grew to a major arms industry throughout the WW1. It is localized in the port of Birdpass, the militaristic center of South Shellfort, which served as a strategic point in the Communist Treaty war in 1979. The industries were ravaged in the same war after a week-long bombing, but with tax credits and investments from the government, BI INC rebuilt itself within 5 years. In 1994 the government acquired 30% of the industries profit during a war against North Shellfort although the liberal governance of 2000 sold it to foreign investors; in 2002 the first naval industries was inaugurated along with the second aircraft industry. In 2010 Milkden Institute bought 100% of BI INC. and now Birdpass Industries are selling their surplus to other nations and organizations around the world and opening franchises overseas to provide self-defense for people through the globe.
