As soon as the speech was over, officers were given orders to commence small military actions against the Government of Mawani, a division of about 40 T-72 AVR main battle tanks commenced to fire on the Mawanian troops, the tanks then mobilized as small cadres of pro-Bashriyyan sub-saharan mercenaries followed behind the tanks, a total of about 100 sub-saharan militiamen recruited by the Bashriyyans as mercenaries prepared to give up their lives to destroy Communism.

As far as Bashriyyans were concerned Communism needed to be defeated and communist government that oppressed the Arab people needed to be punished.

Make-Shift IDP Camp 20 km from Kit

Morale around the camp was slowly improving. The majority of civilians must have felt safer with the arrival of the peacekeepers. Construction work on 500 stronger shelter units was being conducted. All around the camp troops were setting up a razor wire fence and several sand bag protected MG nests. The gunners and patrol teams played a key part in keeping an eye out for unknown units that may want to raid the camp. The medical tent was overflowing with those in need of attention. Surprisingly already running short on supplies. The next run due in a 5 days, most doctors had to try and improvise to stretch resources.

At the camps now clearly marked and reinforced entrance a small convoy of 2 Cougar, 1 Caiman and 2 Strykers makes its way out for a patrol. The simple mission objective was to check out a series of small villages and hamlets between the camp and town of Kit for any threats or community leaders to discuss with. The soldiers were to anxious to witness the destruction at Kit themselves so as a bonus Camp commander, Warrant Officer 2nd Class Tarik Nagi permitted them after the deliveries to move to the hills overlooking the town. They were however ordered not to engage anyone unless fired upon. Hopefully both sides got the message that had been shared throughout the Internet and with government officials. "We were not here to pick a fight" atleast not openly anyway.

The group quickly finished their largely uneventful task and was now in a position. The white of their vehicles destorying the slight camouflage they might have had in their usual desert brown paint and could see the little that remains of the town. Everyone heard the Mawani government used a tactical nuke killing even it's own soldiers so they would have to stay well out of the contaminated zone. Climbing outside their vehicles and moving to stand in front of their neatly lined up vehicles, taking turns with the few binoculars available they were in shock. When someone looked at him as he sat now in front of the table, drinking his tea while talking to he could have bet that the great Yi-Sun Sin has arisen from his grave and became admiral in Shogun Kojiro's navy - his face was looking almost identical like the one of legendary admiral. The other person accompanying him near the table was no one else than Gen. Takeda Daisuke himself, a persona who held extreme influence on geopolitics of Nihon. This short man with an oval face and pointy cheekbones which gave him look of a scary Mongolian warlord extending from below his calm crystal blue eyes, short and thin mouth added to his short grey beard, short mustache combined with dark gray military uniform made him look like sort of experienced general out of Chinese legends, one who always knows what his enemies are going to do eight steps forward - and already has a way of preventing them from stepping into where they want, like a master chess player sets enemy up for check mate. Indeed - the head of Naval Special Landing forces had major plans for recent conflict in Mawani...

"Leave that to the Naval Special Landing Forces" Daisuke smiled, thinking of how much he was going to piss off his rivals in the Army by executing such a major victory. Many members of the Imperial Nihonese Army had pretty contrary ideas about geopolitics, and by a major victory General Daisuke could shut them up, sparing himself ans Shogun Kojiro their endless arguments "I will present you full plan once the initial deployment begins. The dishonorable pest from the Army will no longer be able to constantly mess with our vision of the military policy after this victory has been achieved."

"I will trust you on that one, Takeda-san" said the old admiral "Go, bring honor to your shogun."

Hojo himself could not smile more on this operation. He was not the one who cared much about the honour, like Daisuke did - but he was filled with idea of vengeance over communist world for killing his fiance and her family. This idea for venegance cruised in his veins, producing a man truly eager to perform intrigues like this one.

After all - to defeat the enemy, all means were good.

Deep in space, the electric eye of the Nihonese intelligence turned, while swiftly approaching the Mawani territory. A Type 20140 optical surveillance satellite moved past the Atlantic ocean, to begin slowly gazing on Mawani territory, especially area where most recent insurgent / Mawani Army activity was noted, taking careful look at what was possibly known on the enemy. It would be followed by an ELINT satellite - for several hours various areas would be under satellite surveillance determining location, size and disposition of the Mawani and Terrorist forces. This will be the only kind of recon the Empire of Greater Nihon will carry out for now - rest will have to come from Bashriyyan intelligence on the ground. After all, the intelligence of that nation was trained by Gunpeitai, and more than capable of delivering the information.

Meanwhile, at southern Atlantic ocean, 5th Mobile Force turned North and headed within the striking range of the entire zone. It was a massive combat group that the Empire of Greater Nihon could mobilize to defend it's interests overseas, one that was directly needed in face of threat like this one. Coming on complete EMCON, with only AWACS in it's fighter screen broadcasting while keeping watch for potential attackers, going in zig-zags to avoid steady course and thus confuse eventual enemy reconnaissance means. It would take few days before the intend AO would be reached, but Nihonese had time playing on their gain - more the terrorists destabilize Mawani in that time, the better for the Nihonese. Kaigun General Staff decided to in addition position two Junsen SSGNs nearby for eventual strike needs.

In addition, four Fujita G21F started from their airfield 100km from Kiyosu and headed for Bashriyya, where they would be intended to land, awaiting further orders. With them would fly four tankers, for their operational needs in terms of refueling. Of course everything done silently would ensure complete secrecy of the Nihonese plan, one that soon would become materialized... Soon.

"Shit! Get out!" Fatima shouted. She and her crew immediately bailed out and ran to the next tank. Their tank erupted into flames as it hit the mines below the road. The tank advance reversed for a while before continuing. With the town a literal minefield, the tanks instead went around Al Faisal. The infantry and tanks surrounded the town and cut down those inside. Artillery shelled the town as the Serer troops surrounded the town and slaughtered the militants inside mercilessly. A civilian ran out of the town and approached the soldiers. "Save me!" He said.

The soldiers nodded and attempted to bring him to safety, before the man reached below his shirt and detonated a bomb! The man blew up along with the unsuspecting squad in the BTR beside him. The Mawani military needed Al Faisal, at all costs. Except for another nuke, of course.

Kit
Mawani

Two BTR-60s carrying a platoon of 24 men entered Kit. They were accompanied by another platoon of 24 men who were walking alongside the BTRs, all into the contaminated radioactive zone in Kit. It had been a few days since the drop of the tactical nuke, therefore the radiation levels had went down by a little making it safer for the Mawani troops entering Kit. All the soldiers were clad in NBC suits to protect themselves from the radiation. Only several houses and buildings remained in Kit. A small mosque and a few houses of what used to be a prospering town. The soldiers scouted through the ruins of a town to find any survivors. Charred bodies littered the streets, militants and soldiers alike. They rummaged through several houses in hopes of finding anything, but their attempts were mostly in vain. Then they heard a shout, coming from the direction of the mosque. They immediately drove over, where they found a staircase leading underground. It was they saw a squad of Mawani soldiers in gas masks, their clothing tattered and torn. A few wounded men too were found inside, and several bodies of militants were outside the entrance to the staircase. The BTRs parked outside as the NBC-suit clad soldiers entered the basement by opening a thick iron door. "Comrades! You must be the reinforcements." Said one of the men inside. One of the NBC suit clad soldiers nodded. "Indeed. We were on orders to search for survivors before setting up defenses in the town." Said the soldier. The survivor nodded and turned to his compatriots before looking back. "A few of my troops could use medical attention. The moment we saw the plane with the bomb strapped under it, we ran all the way to the town's NBC-Bomb shelter.

The commander of the unit clad in NBC suits nodded, "We'll have you extracted to Chinguetti ASAP." The men inside nodded. As they waited, the other soldiers set up sandbags around the mosque and dug out a few positons around the remains of the town. They closely watched their Geiger counter to know if they were in a heavily radiated zone. They stayed near to the mosque, which was further away from the blast zone where it would be to radiated for the soldiers to take positions.

They hoisted a flag on the Mosque and used the building as a base of operations. Soldiers dug trenches outside and lined them with sandbags, while the inside of the mosque was to be used as the FOB for the soldiers operating near Kit. Kit may be destroyed, but they could not leave what seemed like an empty piece of land undefended. They did not want the Mazeed Masnour Brigade militants to completely pass by the town and move on to attack bigger bases of the Mawanian People's Army.

While the casualties of the militants were astronomical at this point, the Mawani People's Army had not yet taken the city, or even penetrated the inner parts of the city. Mazeed Mansour Militants hid in buildings, firing AKMs, and Bashriyyan made missile launchers at the vile Marxist foe. Entrenched militants fired off Browning machine guns. Holding back the enemy would be their goal, and they would martyr themselves without hesitation. Militants charged into battle without concern for their own lives. Their leaders had whipped them into such a frenzy, they cared no longer for their own lives. Hurling grenades at enemy vehicles while charging at them was crudely effective, land mines made tank movements inside the city impossible, Al Faisal would soon become like Kit, a pile of rubble and ash.
Sahara Desert, outskirts of Mawani
"General Kalam. According to what you said in the beginning of all this. We'd be shelling Sirte by now, with hundreds of thousands of soldiers with us and millions of dollars from Bashriyya." Began Colonel Sa'id Nour, who was confronting the General. "But we've barely left the Sahara, and while Bashriyya has backed us with military force. It has been indecisive." The officers behind Nour nodded in agreement. Kalam was shocked. Was this a coup?
"We ask that you answer for this." stated Nour, firmly and strongly. Kalam was furious. How dare they question his strategy! But outwards he was calm.
"Brothers. I understand your apprehension and fear that the campaign as failed. But Bashriyyan troops are fighting the MPA and Al-Faisal appears to be firmly in our hands."
"You have yet to answer my question. Why are we not executing Abdullah right now? While crowds of thousands cheer?" Nour was relentless. Kalam was inside fuming, and outside now loosing his composure.
"Perhaps I overestimated our chances. Maybe I did not foresee the cowardice of our commanders in Kamoon, who allowed a gaggle of apostate civilians to remove us. Or the repeated failures at Kit. Which should have been conquered long ago." Kalam stated. "Do I answer your question?"
"Yes, Brother." replied Nour. "But many of the men are sick of this desert. They want to have clean water, food, and if I am honest, pleasure as well." Kalam shook his head violently. Pleasure over jihad? How traitorous!
"You forget that our men in Al-Faisal sacrifice themselves without hesitation!" replied Kalam. "Maybe these men are not satisfied with rest. Perhaps they should fight. Send them all to Al-Faisal. And Nour, you shall lead them." Nour was visibly shocked, his attempt to upstage Kalam were now destroyed. If he refused, it would be open mutiny.
"As you command General." replied Nour, annoyed. The officers behind him no shifting their position to behind Kalam.
"Now go...Major. Do not question my strategy again."
Nour, demoted and outwitted, now gathered up 100 men, and delivered them to Al Faisal. Kalam smiled, mutiny was avoided, for now...

Bashriyyan Electronic Army

Orders were given from Bashriyyan Government to commense information warfare, and large scale psy-op. The Government of Mawani had largely begun to discredit itself from its use of weapons of mass destruction, leaflets were being printed out while Bashriyyans attempted to reach internet in Mawani by promoting anti-Government propaganda. The leaflets had pictures of the various wounds inflicted on civilians from the CBRN weapons that the Government of Mawani deployed especially the suitcase nuke. A bold title on one of the pamphlets read "Communist Regime in Desperate Attempt to hold power uses nukes on it's own citizens". The leaflets would be smuggled to members of the Mazeed Mansour Brigades to hand around.

Leading the operations of what was to become large mission was none other then Colonel Abdul Walad who had established based at Mali border, where Bashriyyan agents and Mazeed Mansour Brigades were planning meet up to gather intelligence, the Mazeed Mansour Brigades being told they would recieve air-support in exchange for intelligence on supply lines, SAM sites and areas where ballistic missile technology was present. Bashriyyans had very special plan and Mazeed Mansour Brigades were at the moment needed for this part of the operations.

It was dark night in Mali, and Colonel Walad was anxious he hated Mazeed Mansour Brigades but at this time they were useful idiots that would be needed to help weaken a Communist regime, the Bashriyyans had set up in large command tent, where numerous officers and Fedayeen Bashriyya agents had met up.

KIT, MAWANI - The people's masses of Kit have appealed to the MPA to nuke their town, citing that they would do anything to defend their Mawanian Motherland. The MPA, following the needs of the proletariat and the people's masses, detonated a nuclear weapon on Mazeed Mansour Brigade terrorists. A construction effort to relocate the citizens of Kit to Sirte is in full effect. Forces of the MPA have re-occupied the town having successfully defended against the scum of the MMB terrorists. Al-Haqiqa journalists visited the remains of Kit yesterday with help from the MPA. The scene was filled with bodies of dead terrorists, a gruesome reminder of the glorious might of the MPA and the People's Republic. President Mohammed Abdullah has spoken about the event, saying "The MPA has done a great job of clearing out terrorist scum, by detonating a nuclear weapon in Kit. We thank the masses of Kit for their love of the motherland and allowing the MPA to drop the nuclear weapon on Kit.". Many citizens of the People's Republic have been seen celebrating in the streets of towns and cities, happy that the terrorists in Kit have been slaughtered by the masses. Al Haqiqa journalists have interviewed Salim al-Khattab, a resident of Kit. "I am proud to have served our motherland by voting in favor of detonating the nuclear weapon on Kit. It may have been our homes, but defending the motherland from terrorists is much more important than that. Desert road, Mawani


A car was driving on a dark desert road which had barely illuminated signs leading to key points and so on. Inside the car was two Jihadists and two operatives from Al-Ghaihr. The vehicle headlights kept a stream of light on the desert road. Very rarely would a car pass by. The vehicle was traveling around 75+ MPH. Way above the speed-limit for the area. A police car was cleverly parked behind a sign with a radar-gun checking for any speeding motorists. The vehicle came in to sight of the officers as it sped past. The police car turned on it's lights and sirens. The old halogen lightbar's rotators begin to spin as a flood of blue lights accompanied by the vehicle's headlights filled the dark desert road. The car kept speeding not yielding to the police. Driver Mustafa Al-Khaja said to the Jihadists in the back in arabic. "Alright, your information panned out. So, what you want us to do is get their uniforms and the car and try to infiltrate a armory and see about getting some weaponry and perhaps some uniforms and cars?" and the Jihadist responded, "We have enough weapons but extra ones are always a plus. We're mainly wanting to get the uniforms and cars. It would help us to impersonate their police to get in to their cities and possibly help against the communist government." before being interrupted by the Police car's PA system, "PULL OVER, THIS IS THE POLICE." and the Jihadist quickly motioned to Mustafa to pull over. The risk of him calling in backup was too great to do a pursuit. The car pulled to a stop and Mustafa quietly cocked back his suppressed Makarov pistol.


The officer walked up with his hand on his holster. A out-dated revolver was in the holster. Mustafa didn't expect this. Mawani police are typically better equipped but this was Rural police so funding was probably low. It gave him a advantage never the less. The officer motioned to roll down the window. Mustafa rolled down the window whilst another officer stepped out of the car walking to the passenger side. Mustafa silently thought "Fuck." as the officer spoke in Arabic to Mustafa.. "Officer Chauhary, License and registration please." and then suddenly. Mustafa raised his pistol up angling to shoot the officer through the throat. He applied pressure to the trigger. The hammer of the pistol hit the striking pin. The gun went off. It's sound somewhat suppressed by the suppressor. The officer fell back reaching towards his throat as he fell back on to the sandy road. Mustafa quickly stepped out of the car as the other officer drew his service revolver taking aim at Mustafa. He fired off a shot, the bullet sped out of the revolver taking a hit at the car instead of Mustafa. Mustafa quickly returned fire at the officer, easily achieving a headshot. The other officer quickly went down. Mustafa nodded to the Jihadists as they quickly stepped out of the car. Mustafa quickly said to the Jihadists, "Al-Ghaihr sends it's regards. You're welcome for the uniforms and the car. Remember to turn off the lights." as he pulled up his keffiyeh to cover his mouth.

Nihonese foreign policy was a harsh and unforgiving, but also cautious craft, citing tradition of hundreds of years of Wenchuani statesmanship. For the sons of Admiral Yi, the very definition of strategy was to "make someone do something for you". This time, the jihadists done all the work for them, and so did the communists - both sides perfectly fitting in Kojiro's plan of mass deception. Bashriyya acted as a proxy that guided the Jihadists into their own oblivion more than they could have ever anticipated - Imperial Nihonese Intelligence hated them, after all. But even the hate for the "bearded ones" prevented Gunpeitai from using them to further the goal of stopping communism in this part of the world. They were never going to live to see their caliphate in first place.

Those questions pondered the mind of Rear Admiral Mori Nisuke as he walked through the combat information center (CIC) on-board his massive carrier, the Soryu, which acted as his flagship. Soryu was the first vessel in it's class, a recently built super carrier, with the second ship, "Ayanami", also part of his group. These massive floating airfields hosted over ninety-two aircraft, sixty of them being combat aircraft. More than enough to destroy everything Mawani had in store for the forces of Kaigun. This short, careful individual, was well versed at commanding such a deadly force - a force that now was about to be unleashed yet again on a completely unsuspecting nation. While the attention of Mawani was going to be focused on Bashriyya, the Empire of Greater Nihon was about to conduct a strike of it's own.

A young Lieutenant slowly approached the commander of the 5th Kido Butai, saluting him and giving him a piece of paper:

"Taisho!" he saluted after the admiral "Urgent message from combined fleet HQ. Authenticated."

The admiral slowly looked at the words printed on the paper "TORA TORA TORA" was boldly imprinted on the message. For him, thrice repeated tiger had a very simple meaning - execute operation 'WHITE WIND'. The time had come for communists to learn the strength of the Imperial Nihonese Navy.

Although other assets were to reach their positions first...

Bashriyya

The darkness covered the land - nothing could be seen through it's dark shroud. Only a few lights dared to shine in the darkness, and that was the military base where Imperial Nihonese Air Force assets were stationed in the Arab county of Bashriyya - a nation with which the Empire of Greater Nihon had a long standing friendship with. INAF was third tiered compared to the more important Navy and Army, but that did not mean it received any less funding. Evidence of that was the enormous G21F strategic bomber undergoing preparations in it's hangar for flight. At the beginning, it's pilots received WARNO of a routine patrol in the Atlantic Ocean; yet when the main OPORD came, they realized that WARNO was a "false plan" that the Nihonese intelligence liked to circulate to confuse enemy spies. Lieutenant Fujikawa Hiroto was already no stranger to situations like this - especially after participating in the infamous bombing of Cedorian forces in Bulgaria that claimed several lives. Quickly grabbing his gear, Hiroto ordering his fellow officers to suit-up for the coming mission. All of them already underwent briefing and knew what awaited them. The roaring sound of the base's siren was slowly engraved into the Nihonese pilots, ensuring they would never forget it.

"This is going to be big, Hiroto-san." said his fellow officer, Flight Lieutenant Siba Goemon, while putting on his helmet on Hiroto's left. "We are going to earn honor of the century, for us, for our families! As if Cedorians weren't enough."

"Those dishonorable Mawani won't even know what hit them!" from the left side, Major Imagawa Gozen, visibly excited at prospect of killing some communists.

Both of them, however, looked at their commander, searching for some sort of sign. Hiroto, rather than excited, was calm - he carefully zipped up is flight suit and closed his eyes for prayer. Contrary to them, he was silently praying to Christ and the Emperor that souls of the men in the bunker would be spared. After all, he wished them - and especially their families - no harm. Slowly lifting his head, both officers could look into the eyes of their commander, and find only calmness and melancholy in them.

"The bigger honor would have been if we managed to turn the commies there into good men." silently began Lt. Col. Hiroto "We are so eager to forget the very fact that they, just as us, are humans. Twenty-five kilometers above the earth we see not the despair we cause them. Every bomb usually risks killing innocent people and yet we can not do anything about it..."

The cheers stopped seconds later as his fellow crew looked at Lt. Col. Hiroto, showing sadness. Indeed, each of them had someone close to them, and all of them understood the risks involved. Even with all their training, a mistake was nothing uncommon - one piece of wrong intelligence or some mistaken calculations and instead of terrorists, the bomb would strike innocents caught in the cross fire - like a school bus full of children or someone's home. Most of the pilots wondered what they would have done if this kind of situation happened to them...

"But we both know this is necessary. The men who cower in the bunkers we are about to strike are not some innocent bystanders. They are dishonorable communists, feasting upon the lifeblood of their people. And to make sure that no harm will come to their innocent subjects, we will kill them all at once. Cut off the head of the snake and they won't be able to bite anyone anymore. This operation will be remembered as a time of honor and glory - for we killed those who deserved it, and spared their people torment of war! KIRISHT TENNO HEIKA BANZAI!!!!!! FOR HE IS THE LORD OF HEAVEN, AND HE SHALL GUIDE US IN THIS BATTLE!"

With loud cries proclaiming that Jesus Christ is the Heavenly Sovereign, the motivated pilots ran from the room to an enormous bomber awaiting them in the hangar. G21F looked like a monster, a black dragon from Nihonese legends, silently moving in the skies to strike down it's prey. So was the case this time, when a penetration mission was assigned to them. Hiroto quickly found himself sitting in the cockpit of G21F under his command, looking at the calm Bashriyyan desert landscape around him. Somewhere out there, back in Nihon, his wife was waiting for him, expecting his return. Hiroto thought of her, their unborn child... he was always known in his neighborhood as a devout husband and model man. As many of his kind, Hiroto was also patriotic and willing even to give his life in any suicide attack if that was the order; yet at this moment, an honorable return was more preferred to an honorable death.

Hiroto sat in the commander's seat of the bomber. Beside him there were also two other men, a pilot and armaments operator. The enormous bomber slowly moved up the tarmac, heading up it's engines like dragon inhales to exhale fire.

"Flight Control this is Mamushi One." spoke Hiroto through radio "All checks complete, ready to start on your order, over!"

"Mamushi one, permission to start granted. Heavenly Father bless you on your path, over and out!" shouted the fight control operator.

With an enormous roar, two G21F bombers started ascending to a height of twelve kilometers and accelerated to nine hundred kilometers-per-hour. They were followed by two more bombers later on. First group headed for Sirte, second for Nouadhibou, to ensure that they strike both targets at the same time.

Operation 'White Wind' had begun.

*** Atlantic Ocean: four hours later

Among the calm sea, the first wave of the Nihonese strike was about to materialize itself. Mawanii's navy likely had no idea that the deadly killers of the Imperial Nihonese Navy lurked bellow the waves, simply awaiting orders. When the order came on VLF, they simply ascended to launch depth and deployed their communications buoy, through which satellite signals emitted from Imperial Nihonese Navy HQ relayed to them locations of their targets. Intelligence wasn't hard to obtain; Satellite intelligence and Bashriyyan men on the ground managed to identify where the Su - 30s were stationed, while SAM installations would be localized by ELINT directly before the operation begun. Only the first one was the target at this moment.

Each of the three airbases in Sirte, and the two in Nouadhibou, were going to receive the same treatment. Four thermobaric cruise munitions at the control tower, two for every hangar, and one at HQ. Then came six cluster munitions aimed at hangars and runways, seeking to damage and destroy the ability to fly for the Su-30s. Finally, the last two munitions akin to Lockheed Martin's CHAMP technology, were to fly over the hangars in an attempt to fry any electronics the hostile aviation that survived could use, rendering them blind to the world.

Each missile would fly at high subsonic speed, at nap - of - the - earth attitude of fifteen meters - well below the watchful eyes of "Spoon Rest", "Flat Face", and "Fan Song" that the Mawani Air Defense Forces searched the skies with. The very moment when those systems would detect a glimpse of the low - RCS, low - flying munitions, it would be too late - the storm would have already be on, wrecking any aviation that could be found there.

The Navy was not going to get easier treatment - very akin bombardment would render missile boats and stationed submarines useless in the opening hours.

It was time to deal with the SAMs...

*** Atlantic ocean

The timing of the entire operation has been perfect, and the entire operation was going to be coordinated to the last degree. Four large bombers, with their tankers staying far away to accompany them home, took position over the Atlantic ocean. The four bombers were going to enter the two coastal cities at the same time when the strike from the carriers was inbound; thus the more visible carrier based aviation was going to command all the attention, as well as eliminate the SAM positions which were well researched thanks to the enemy keeping more than a half of their radars in each regiment operational - ELINT equipment quickly determined their positions and shared it with other platforms. Nihonese data links were functioning all the time, and what one sees, all see. This was going to give them a major advantage over the enemy.

Each city had a squadron of twelve Tenrais assigned to them that would be tasked with an offensive counter - air (OCA) mission to neutralizing whatever could have been left of the Sukhois in the airfield. Twelve Donryus going with anti - radiation weaponry to neutralize the SAMs (as well as two Type Cho - 12 missiles for self defense) , six additional Donryus with air-to-air weaponry working as an operational reserve, four Ki- 87 electronic warfare planes, and two AWACS planes guiding each group in addition to carrier refueling aircraft. The hunt was on, and little could have been done to stop it.

The first blow came to the radars. Each enemy regiment level installation featured nine radars in total; one 'Flat Face', one height finder, four 'Spoon Rest', and three 'Fan Song'. It was a complex apparatus designed to target air assets, with over five of them working at the same time for early warning. Today, however, they fell prey to a new Nihonese toy - the Type - 812 anti - radiation missile. Powered by ram rocket, this deadly dart moved at four times the speed of sound and could effectively strike the hostile radar installation from as far as three hundred kilometers - while the range of Mawani surveillance radars were about two hundred and fifty kilometers, and suffered from poor resolution and lack of capability to find height of the target, making life of the SAM operators even more difficult. At the same time a full scale electronic warfare storm was unleashed using both pods mounted on the multi - roles and the electronic warfare aircraft; SAM batteries would suffer jamming on every main channel using digital radio frequency memory jamming (DFRM) - which receives and replicates their signals to make countless false targets surround them on all sides. Two Type - 812 missiles would be launched at every radar station, with more in store for stations that hadn't turned on yet. Every station that would turn on instantly was going to receive an ARM fired at it.

During the offensive counter air mission, the AWACS detected a lone patrol of three Su- 30 Flankers over the city. They were to be almost instantly engaged by Tenrais, whose data sharing and better electronics gave them an edge. Coming head on the enemy aircraft, using the fact that they flew at fifteen kilometer height as opposed to the enemy's ten kilometers, each Su - 30 will be greeted with a salvo of three SSJ - 9 (nine missiles in total) before a rapid peak down movement would begin to close in with the hostile contact - if anything would survive, that is...

*** The same time

As the execution of the operation was drawing it's completion, the final phase had come into fruition. When the suppression of enemy SAMs and hostile air forces was in progress, two bombers headed for each bunker, where both the government officials and general staff holed themselves up, each with a massive surprise in store; Type - 5701 "Commiebreaker" massive ordnance penetrator. This enormous bomb weighted thirteen tons with its warhead alone having almost three tons of weight. It was capable of passing through sixty meters of concentrate or forty meters of hard rock - a feat that made all communists feel uneasy over what Imperial Nihonese Air Force can achieve. With each G21F carrying one, the time had come for a "head first" strike on Mawani. Of course western governments wanted not to target civilians, but Nihonese were not gaijin - they were quite eager to destroy all of the enemy leadership in a single decisive blow.

Nothing the Mawani government had could have detected G21F, citing it's extremely low RCS and stealth features, in addition to the fact that they would be recollecting themselves after a major blow that was just delivered to them. A perfect opportunity, a perfect target.

Approaching over the drop point, the first G21F unleashed the Type - 5701 bomb over the target then began a slow turn allowing the second plane to strike two minutes after the first. Two bombs would be more than enough to eliminate any political leadership in Mawani, setting the Grand Nihonese plan in motion.

The Mazeed Mansour Brigade headquarters bustled with activity. Nihonese jets had delivered a powerful payload to Sirte. Abdullah was likely dead, and the MPA was scattered after effective Nihonese operations.
"Nihon was given us the chance to join up with the Bashriyyans and conquer Chinguetti, humbling Mawani's military industrial complex. We'll fight with them and take the city." Said Kalam, pointing to the map.
"Heresy!" Shouted Major Nour. Entering the tent with a Glock-17. Two men with M16 rifles stood behind him. "We will not be aiding SACTO traitors. Before you take any city, they will backstab us and leave Mawani to warlords." Kalam had enough, he openly fumed. He pounded his fist on the table and thundered "MUTINY!" The officers shuddered. "I sent you to Al-Faisal. This is mutiny. Seize him!" The guards did not move.
"The Major's words are true General." Muttered one of the minor officers. "We cannot trust them."
"I hate the Bashriyyans as you do. But this is absurd. Conquering Mawani for God us paramount. Seize him!"
Omar, Kalam's most loyal luitenant drew his revolver and aimed at Nour. Before long, all declared their loyalties by drawing their guns on someone. Kalam reached under the table to grab his flip phone. He quietly called someone and when he heard his friend say hello. He shouted "Mutiny!" The others shrugged. Before long, 20 armed men entered with Kalashnikovs and before long. Nour was being executed without the men's knowledge and all hopes of mutiny was silenced. But Kalam still doubted trusting SACTO. Kalam prepared to make an announce to the men.
"Soldiers of God! Warriors of Mazeed Mansour! Lions of the Qu'ran! Fearless fighters of Islam! I regret to inform you that the courageous and strong Colonel Nour was shot in the back of the head by an MPA communist apostate thug!" The men look down, solemn. "But his death will be avenged! We currently have 324 men guarding this encampment, I am deploying 175 more to Al-Faisal, for we will conquer it for God! Allahu Akbar!" The crowd cheered and shouted "Allahu Akbar!" General Kalam returned to his tent and turned to the officers attending, the mutiny had occurred 2 hours from this moment. "No one is to say anything more about Nour to me, the men, or anyone else. If he does I will consider it treason. Do you know what I do to traitors?" asked Kalam, with a look a fearsome disgust on his face.
"A dozen bullets sir." said an officer.
"Yes. Plus my contempt." replied Kalam. He now relaxed and said. "Brothers. Our fight is know far more complicated. Nihon is now involved, and Abdullah is likely dead. Our common enemy has been dealt with. Fear not my friends. I do not intend to trust Nihon. If the obstruct our path to victory. They will pay dearly.
Al-Faisal
The fighting could not be less intense, with the arrival of MMB reinforcement, the victory was no easy one for the MMB though, the MPA gave heavy resistance. Now however, began an MMB psychological warfare mission. The MMB Mig-21 flew over Al-Faisal, specifically over MPA held parts, dropping leaflets.

ATTENTION MPA SOLDIERS
You may not know this. But Nihonese jets and bombs have killed your beloved leader Muhammed Abdullah. His heart no longer beats, the entire political leadership is either dead or in the hospital with serious injury. You have no hope, no chance of survival. Surrender yourself, and you will be spared. Join the Brigades, and you will be rewarded.

The plane dropped a few thousand of these leaflets over Sirte. MPA soldiers would inevitably notice them.
Secure Compound, Somewhere in Bashriyya
Imam Ahmed Abdullah sat watching news reports of the bombing in Sirte. He turned off the TV as several men entered. These men were former Bashriyyan army officers, experienced terrorist cell leaders, wealthy financiers, former members of the Bashriyyan Mukhabarat and more.
"Gentlemen. The situation in Mawani has veered off course I fear. Abdullah is dead, and with Nihon involving itself. I can't see a good future for our men there. Inshallah their fighting spirit will not die but we cannot be sure." began Abdullah. "I ask your advice, should we continue to fight in Mawani, or find a better place to put our resources."
"We must leave wise Imam." replied former Bashriyyan Army Major Rasim Yaqoob. Yaqoob rose in the army ranks with great skill, fighting on numerous front lines against Bashriyya's enemies, and himself participating in Black August. Participating in the lynching of several Marxists. "It is a waste of resources. If thousands of Nihonese soldiers and sailors, hundreds of ships and jets converge upon Mawani then we cannot resist. Realistically, Allah's blessing will give us courage in battle. But hundreds of rockets blocking out the sun cannot be struck down by God alone. I say we pull out, and diverge resources to overthrow the Nasheed regime." The others considered his words.
"I disagree." stated Mustapha Jibril. A former officer in the Bashriyyan Mukhabarat, or military intelligence. "Mawani will soon break up into several warring states now the the unifying figure of Abdullah is gone. Coups and counter-coups, warlords, foreign interventions like SACTO, will dominate their politics. The Brigades will benefit from this. We will gain more power from the disunity our enemies."

Mauritanian Liberation Army

The time had come Bashriyyan troops stationed in Mali were given new orders, to fire on both Mazeed Mansour Brigades and Mawani troops as they were ordered moved into the country. Bashriyyan special-forces were too round up local supporters in Mawani and form them into a new pro-Bashriyyan proxy army entitled the Mauritanian Liberation Army that would be used.

Currently the Bashriyyan Government had organized groups of Mauritanian political-exiles who fled the Communist regime, they had gathered at border in technicals backing and Bashriyyan Armour backing flying overhead to support the invading forces against the fomerly allied Mazeed Mansour Brigades, the goal being to liberate the villages from the Mawani Army and to establish the puppet Republic of Mauritania, where Bashriyyan military would slowly establish more troops on to further weaken Communist influence in the region.

The forces finally mobilized were focused on the Adel Bagrou district, the attack started with small bombings, AT-21 COIN aircraft unloaded salvo of S5 rockets and commenced unloading their 12.7mm heavy machine-guns on the local Mawani militias, often the COIN aircraft were complimented with additional support from Shishakli Sh-20 Timsah Attack Helicopters, the helicopters struck the enemy swiftly unloading firepower from 27 mm MANAR cannons, often the helicopters would follow their target as the COIN aircraft would leave to refuel and rearm for small and quick hit & run strikes.

As the air-raid was done on the local militias, the ground forces began to advance and begin the invasion, the Mauritanian Liberation Army and Muhammed Nasheed 5th Mechanized Brigades rumbled into the village showing off armored vehicles, and Toyota trucks, the soldiers and MLA guerilla fighters began fighting with the local security forces almost as soon as they arrived.

I would like to reconfirm Hatay's unequivocal neutrality in the Mawani conflict. Now that the tyrant is dead, Mawani's citizens have a real chance to establish a democracy. I encourage Mawani's citizens to take to the streets and bring about a democratic, free society. I encourage them top expel Nihonese aggression and expansionism, to expel both the Bashriyyan puppets in the MLA and the jihadist murderers in the MMB. But Hatay will take no action for any belligerent. The conflict is far too complicated and Hatay has not been provoked into the conflict. While we ferociously condemn the use of a tactical nuke by Mawani forces, we are not at all prepared to deploy ground forces. Good day and Allah bless.

General Mustafa Kalam had finally ended call rebellious feelings among the militants, and now loyalty to him and the ideas of the group was tremendous. Kalam had just received news of the MLA's formation, and that Bashriyyan funding had dried up.
"Betrayal. That's what is. We must punish them by returning to full strength and expelling the MPA from the North-East. Then maybe we attack them in Mali. But we need foreign backing."
Luitenant Omar smiled and told him. "I know someone."
Sirte
The same two MMB operatives who worked with the Al-Ghaihr spy to get police identification, car, and uniform, now had all this and comfortable hotel room in Sirte. They arrived just after the Nihonese strike, with the capital in chaos. One sat in the room smoking when the other entered closing up his flip-phone as he did so.
"I've just spoken to Omar. You know, Kalam's right-hand man?" asked Hakeem Boulos, the man entering. "Funny how his last name is never mentioned. But anyways, he wants as to contact Al-Ghaihr to request equipment aid."
"Can do." replied the other. He opened his old, 2006 laptop and sent an e-mail to his contact there, in code of course..

Kamoon
The Mazeed Mansour Brigade intended for the residents of Kamoon to pay for the revolt, and take the city as a strategic position. The MMB took 5 Toyota trucks towing 5 152 mm gun 2A36 Field Artillery guns. 50 militants waited about 15 kilometers from the city. The gun had 40 kilometers range, so it was an east shot. The shots began to ring out, going on for hours. Firing not only conventional shells, but mustard gas, and white phosphorus. Kamoon would fall once more.

All over Mawani

"Comrades of the MPA, today, we fight against the terrorist scum that is the Mazeed Mansour Brigades. We shall fight them, fight them out of Mawa-" President Abdullah's live broadcasted speech was cut short by the ceiling caving down on him and several officials followed by a large explosion. Blood and guts were splattered all over before the television broadcast stopped abruptly. It was too late for Mawani's secret service to cover up anything, the truth was out. Abdullah was dead. The Nihonese had killed him, and the entire government. There was panic everywhere. Citizens cried and weeped in the streets, people fled the nation all over! Soldiers dropped their equipment and deserted or returned home! In several outposts near the battlezone near Mazeed Mansour Brigade territory, scared and terrified soldiers brought with them tanks, missles and weapons and defected to the nearest Mazeed Mansour Brigade forces. It was total chaos. In Nouadhibou, rouge soldiers and citizens rioted and looted shops en masse! Law an order seemed to have disappeared from Mawani the moment Abdullah died.

In the south of Mawani was where the regularly mistreated black population lived. When Abdullah died, there was mass celebration... and an orgy of violence against the Arabs that had ruled them. Arab women were raped by the black men while Arab men were brought outside and massacred. Arab shops were looted and burnt, their homes set alight while their belongings stolen and children killed. Black soldiers from the armies, mostly forced to fight for Abdullah's regime while being horribly mistreated by racist commanders joined a 'black revolution' group that was created amidst the chaos that wanted to reclaim the South of Mawani for the indigenous Black African population from the 'dirty Arabs' as they claimed.

Meanwhile, nomadic tribes of the Sahara sent their tribal warriors to nearby towns where they looted and pillaged the towns for their own good. Several military commanders with a lust for power decided to take things on their own hands and try gain power for themselves. Examples like General Jamal Ali Mohamed broke off with many units under his command to form a warlord group that wanted power. Some of these warlord group saw the Nihonese airstrikes and their brute force and power. Some like General Ahmed Mohamed took over vast oilfields of the Mawanian Sahara in an attempt to sell oil to the Nihonese and gain their favour, possibly thinking the Nihonese would help them take over the Mawanian government in exchange for oil.

Some groups wanted to restore the Islamic Republic. General Salim al-Walid took his Mechanized Division, drove to the invading Mauritanian Liberation Army with a white flag, and defected. Some meanwhile, were in favor of a more Islamic state. Several soldiers working near the Northeast Sahara region brought with them tanks and missiles and went to defect to the Mazeed Mansour Brigades. And of course, there was the farmers of Southern Mawani. In the Guidimakha region, local students and farmers proclaimed the People's Republic of Bir Moghrein. These were radical Maoists who split off from the Marxist-Leninist Mawani Communist Party and formed the Maoist People's Party. The MPP was banned by President Abdullah, who had a hatred for Maoists and many of the MPP's members and assosiates were executed by Abdullah's secret police. Abdullah's demise was an opportunity for them to seize power under the banner of the People's Republic of Bir Moghrein.

These were many attempts by the Mawanian people to take opportunity of the current situation of Mawani's government. Of course, there was still government-supportive resistance, but in small isolated pockets around the country, soon to be killed off by the many forces destroying Mawani.

The villagers weren't moved at all by Abdullah's death. The village never wanted to fight for the communist party, but rather to save their town from the radical Islamists, or whoever who decided to ruin their peaceful lives. And now, the Islamists came again... but the villagers were prepared. The villagers put on gas masks issued by the MPA several weeks back and armed themselves with the weapons of the fleeing MPA garrison. After Abdullah's death, the MPA garrison, made out of mostly conscripts from Sirte, deserted their weapons and fled in fear. Some of the MPA soldiers decided to keep staying in the town, and when the first shots were fired, quickly armed the villagers with weaponry. Old women came out of their houses with Kalashnikovs and men and women got ready with pistols, shotguns, old muskets and other weapons they could find. A few resourceful students built themselves a homemade mortar to fight against the jihadists. 50 militants against hundreds of angry villagers, armed to the tooth and ready to fight. One homemade mortar fired off 100-kg of plastic explosives torwards the Jihadist's artillery and the second fired another 100-kg of explosives mixed in with mustard gas onto the waiting Jihadists.

Hunters-turned-snipers lay in wait and picked off the Jihadists and their gun crews that were shelling the villagers. They were angry, and would fight to defend their village from the scum that was the Mazeed Mansour Brigade and their goons.

Kalam and the men were jubilant. Hundreds of MPA troops from Kit and the surrounding areas had arrived with hands up and tanks, vehicles, and other supplies. The Militants treated them like brothers, building tents for them, and feeding them. The MMB now had their chance to excel. General Kalam worked on organizing the brigades 19,000 rank-and-file militants into regiments. More and more were coming, so this would have to be reformed.

Kamoon
The militants cheered as 250 more men joined them, a lot of defectors from the MPA. They also brought T-55s and BMP-1s. The militants opened fire, with tanks and artillery. The townspeople of Kamoon would have no easy time defeating a trained and mechanized enemy. Infantry soon began to rush the town. The tanks followed, filling the streets with machine gun fire. Kamoon could not faced the new mechanized divisions.
Chegga
The normal lives of civilians was interrupted by the booming of artillery. Yellow mustard gas floated throughout the town, followed by the slow, eerie chlorine gas. T-55s fired shells into the city, while infantry quickly surrounded it. Chegga was under attack, infantry closed in from all sides, followed by BMP-1s and T-34s and T-55s. In Mazeed Mansour Brigades relentless sought out enemy forces, whether they be MPA or MLA, and killed them savagely.

This poor, small town, held by the MMB has been completely subjugated. All those who did not evacuate had now submitted themselves to jihadi rule, unlike Kamoon's citizens. General Kalam visited with very important purpose. He entered a room with a table with a chair and black jihadi flag draped behind it. He sat in the chair and arranged his papers. Putting an AK-47 beside him, he began to speak once the cameraman gave a thumbs up.

My brothers here in Mauritania. The tyrant is dead, struck down by the holy fire of God. Now he burns in hell for his sins. But now others want a return to the days of Marxist dictatorship. The remnants of the MPA and Abdullah's secret police must be stamped out. They are killers and savages. Rapists and assassins. The only faction that will erase Abdullah from existence, and all his imprint on this great country is the Mazeed Mansour Brigade, we shall purge the influence of infidels, and the remnants of socialism with the great fire of Islam! All Mauritania shall be set alight by Muslims who want Holy Salvation! Muslims, seize weapons, and conquer your villages for God!

The cameraman stopped filming, told Kalam he did a good job, and proceeded to edit it and touch it up. Afterwords, they used large radio satellites to put in on most frequencies one time. And on some TV sets. Mawani would hear the cry of the Brigades, the call to arms and revolution.

The Conflict in Mawani had struck the bordering Territory of Adarak quite hard. The place was under normal circumstances a popular tourist region, but in the recent days, more and more of the Coloured Mawani had attempted to transgress the borders in pursuit of fleeing Arabs. The Isle'ish generally had an “Open Borders”-Policy. Everybody that was peaceful was accepted to enter. If you attempted to cross the border by force though like the Arabs, then the Royal Colonial Marines stood in your way. In the case of this particular border checkpoint, Checkpoint No. 14, it was 6th Company, “Royal African Light Dragoons”.

The Colonial Marines probably weren't the most ideal force for any conflict. The rank and file of any of their Regiments hailed from the native nations. They weren't professional soldiers. They were Volunteers, most of them here only for the good pay, doing some service for “The Nation”, earning some money to finance a higher education or something. The NCOs and Officers of the Colonial Marines were some of the best within the entire Royal Army, specifically selected through a hard screening process.

In the traditional manner of the Isle'ish Irregular Troops, a certain Leftenant by the name of James Cardigan had assembled the dozen or so best shots of the Company and led them to a slightly higher point as a “Sharpshooter Section”. The Isle'ish generally preferred Sharpshooters over Machinegunners. “Cardigan's” were observing the area before the Checkpoint carefully. Their was a long queue before it, even though it was the middle of the night, even though the controls were minimal by this point.

“Ey, Sir ?”, asked one of the Africans assigned to the Section the Leftenant. The Enlisted were lying on the Ground for better aim, while the Officer was standing upright, in manner. “What ist, Dragoon ?”, “What if they start shooting on the other side of the border”. Leftenant Cardigan was unsure about what to answer. “Well, Me guesses yond the ideal option ist to shooteth back.”, “If you say so, Sir”.

Of course, violence erupted on the other side...

Colonial Marines caught in heavy fighting at Adarak Border

After the recent fighting between Colonial Marine Units and African Nationalists at the Adarak-Mawani Border, the Directory and the Parliament have decided to form a “Coalition for the Stabilization of Mawani”. All other nations are invited to participate in this coalition. Admiral Ryder, Director of the Navy, reminded that “The purpose of the Coalition iseth not to destroyeth the nation of Mawani, but to pacifyeth its populace”. The Parliament meanwhile calls especially the Nation of Nihon to seize “senseless bombardments”, and instead participate constructively. The Royal Army has confirmed that it will bring the 9th Mechanized Division to Adarak, which means that in addition to the 11.000 Colonial Marines deployed there will come 20.000 Army Regulars.
