Covonant to host state visit for the Prime Minister of Ipland



The Protocols Department has announced a few moments ago of the official state visit to the Union of Covonant from the Prime Minister of the Federation of Ipland Mr. Rob Paul. The Prime Minister is expected to arrive tomorrow morning. The Director of the Protocols Department Mr. Gregory Mair made the announcement from his office. He notes that though the announcement may be a bit late, Covonant is prepared to welcome the visiting official.

Normally these announcements would be made a week in advanced, but we here at the Protocols Department would have had knowledge well in advance of the visit and measures have been put in place to welcome the Prime Minister of Ipland and his visiting parties as well as to ensure that talks to be held are already organised.

He expresses that Covonant have been fearing badly in the headlines over the past few weeks but he is pleased to see some level of normalcy coming about. He however is not taken chances and have ensured security is well in order.

We are all aware that Covonantians can act up when foreign dignitaries are expected to come, as they are concerned with the cost to host these visits, but these visits are critical in us fostering and enhancing diplomatic ties with our allies in and around the Western Isles. I for one am not taking any chances with this visit so security will be optimal and we have already (The Commissioner of police and I) put the necessary measures in place.

Mr. Mair gave hints at what could be discussed at these talks. He notes that talks will range from trade, diplomacy and also military matters.

I don't want to give much based on the itinerary but I will say that talks will be on matters relating to trade, diplomacy, and military interest. As we know Ipland is a trading partner and Covonant wishes to strengthen those trade agreements, we also have special interest in Ipland. All in all Ipland is of great importance to Covonant and we will be seeing those displayed throughout the visit.

The Prime Minister of Ipland is expected to arrive in Coventry, Covonant tomorrow morning, he will be the honoured guest at the official state ceremony to be held at the Palatine Manor.

Palatine Manor makes preparation for State Visit



The Palatine Manor, the official residence of the Prime Minister of Covonant is nearing its completion for the state visit ceremony to be held tomorrow. Director of the Palatine Manor grounds Mrs. Elizabeth Reath, notes that they are 95% complete before the ceremony tomorrow.

We have been getting the grounds and the Manor prepared since as early as Friday morning. We have to ensure the grass are trimmed, the carpets are rolled out, the seats are laid out and also to ensure that the podium and barricades are put in place. So far we are nearing completion, final works to be done will be to lay out the flags, and iron out the red carpets and to ensure that we have our perimeters for spectators are properly established so we will be working late into the night to ensure all is in order for the visit.

Mrs. Reath expresses that this is a common occurrence as this is not the first state visit she has helped organised and she is confident just as the others were a success so shall this.

I think for the year so far, we have hosted around 3 state visits which is a lot so we are well abreast in putting things in place for this one. And I am very confident that it will be a success.

Commissioner of Police gives update on security measures following tomorrows visit

The Commissioner of Police Dr. James Stewart has outlined the security measures that will be taking place for the Official State Visit of the Iplandic Prime Minister tomorrow. The Commissioner was speaking at the Police High Command in Coventry.

I have sent out orders for our police force to ensure that there is no uproar wherever the Prime Minister of Ipland will be. Following the immediate arrival there will be a diverting of traffic to allow free passage of the Iplandic Prime Minister and his delegations. I do not want to have to deal with any protest that may impede our operation in protecting the Prime Minister and his delegates as such we will be enforcing stringent perimeter protocols and will be assessing subsequent routes that will be traveled on.

Despite there seeming to be a back to normal basis in the country, we can't be comfortable or complacent. Any state visit is of high importance and we would have to treat it as such

SPECIAL ADVISORY-DIVERTED ROUTES

The Commissioner has outlined the diverted routes and roads that will be affected for the state visit.

Coming from the Coventry International Gateway Airport leading unto Constitution way the road will be turned into a three lane with two lanes being closed to allow the passage of the Prime Minister. Unto Union Way will be closed for all vehicular traffic until the passage of the Prime Minister. Also leading unto Procession Drive to the Palatine Manor will be closed to all Vehicular traffic for the greater duration of the day. Routes that must be used should be Triumphant Boulevard, Cassia Way, Alderwin Drive, Covish Boulevard and Gregoris Way.

The Commissioner expresses that the routes should be reopened overtime.

Covonant and West Vikkleard to hold conference on trade, defense, and diplomacy

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Tilonius Vesa has announced that the Union of Covonant will be holding talks with its former territory West Vikkleard on trade, defense, and diplomacy. The Minister noted these high level talks will be held at the Forum for International Peace and will be conducted by high level government officials from both countries.

We have agreed to holding critical talks with representative of the government of West Vikkleard that would see talks ranging from trade, defense and diplomacy. These talks will be attended by me as Minister of Foreign Affairs, The Minister of Defense Batiatus Sula, and the Minister of Finance and Commerce Archibald Steel. The Permanent Secretaries within these departments will also be present. From West Vikkleard we can expect to be involved in these talks Minister of Defense- Trunild Vintejv, Minister of Trade - Mąrtą Alfson, Minister of Foreign Affairs -Rosęnikk Rędęr. They are also traveling with a group of others from their ministries.

Rob Paul to make a State Visit to Covonant

The Foreign Affairs Ministry of Ipland recently released a statement announcing the official state visit to Covonant by PM Rob Paul.
Paul is expected to leave later today for Coventry and will arrive tomorrow. The start of the ceremony will be in the morning at Palatine Manor.

Prime Minister of Ipland Rob Paul will be visiting the Union of Covonant on Monday, October 17, 2016. Mr.Paul is expected to be present in Covonant by said date.

While at a conference discussing current affairs, Rob Paul made a statement earlier today addressing the visit:

The purpose of this trip is to further discuss future and current relations between Ipland and Covonant. Iplandic-Covonantian relations are very strong,
and the support for both nations shows that this trip will do only good for both sides.

Things expected to be discussed include things like further diplomacy and trade agreements.
Ipland currently hosts a Covonantian Military Base, so it is likely that discussions on military actions, policy and cooperation will take place at the visit.

Keomora condemns Decorus Inperium for nuclear weapon testing, to impose more sanctions



On Tuesday the Empire of Keomora condemned the Decorus Inperium's nuclear testing in the Kavju Sea, stating that such a move was aggressive and reckless, destabilizing a region already plagued by numerous conflicts. Calling for an immediate ceasefire against the Afra Liberation Movement, the Keomoran Parliament condemned Inperium further for 'untold suffering' committed against their own people via anthrax attacks.
"We are alarmed by Decorus Inperium's disregard of basic human rights, ranging from reeducation camps to massacring their civilians without remorse. But what worries us more is their possession of nuclear weapons and their intent" remarked Prime Minister Katherine Karma. "We believe that countries can possess nuclear weapons to protect their sovereignty but Decorus Inmperium has shown their intent was hostile in every form, inhuman if I may say so. Because no country will openly brag about using biological weapons against their own people. In the name of national unity, in the name of their 'collective' they have lost their humanity, and we must remain vigilant against this threat."
The sanctions that will imposed will be broad including steel, and military supplies, with further calls demanding a total embargo.

PORT GRAY, ATNA PREFECTURE, ATNAIA - Following years of conjecture and conspiracy theories related to Atnaian involvement in the early days of conflict in San Javier, the government has released previously classified information that links Atnaian intelligence to destabilizing efforts in the nation. According to the documents, Atnaian intelligence was involved in the sale and distribution of arms to several sides of the conflict, including early forms of current paramilitary groups and drug cartels which continue to destabilize the small island nation. While ANIA has long been rumoured to have been involved, this is the first time the government has admitted to clandestine involvement in the conflict.

At a press conference this morning, ANIA was open regarding the information. Acting-Director Ahmet Zhang offered no excuses to the activity.

"The former administration ordered our organization to pursue activities which led to the destabilization of the nation of San Javier," Zhang said. "We undertook these actions despite them being contrary to both internal legislation pushed forward publicly by Parliament and international legislation which forbade the distribution of arms to groups within the nation. The individuals involved with the activities did not face legal recourse for their actions, nor did ANIA as an organization get held to task for helping initiate and maintain a conflict which has spun wildly out of control over the past 40 years. It is unfortunately impossible for those individuals to face the repercussions of their actions anymore. The best we can hope to do is to be forthright about these activities and hope that we can go forward to help rectify the effects of our actions."

Representatives from the Quorum were also in attendance at the conference, and spoke regarding the connection of several former MPs and nobles in the activities.

"It is no secret that the former administration was a corrupt institution, swayed by private business concerns more than for an outlook at the good of the people," Rheya York said. "That activity has been something the current administration has been working hard at eliminating from the Atnaian political environment. Unfortunately, we must accept responsibility for the mistakes of the past regime, and take responsibility for repairing the damage done by our activities. To the international community, let me be very clear: Atnaia is at fault. Our activities in the 1970s and 1980s directly led to a conflict that has killed and displaced thousands, led to the rise of criminal organizations and destabilized an entire region. However, those activities were not done with the permission of those with the best interests of international peace and cooperation at heart, as our current administration is. The actions of the former principality do not reflect the goals or wishes of the Hegemony. We ask forgiveness as we seek for ways to salvage the damage done by our involvement in San Javier."

How the Atnaian government seeks to rectify the damage done by more than forty years of violence is still unclear, but the information is currently in discussion at Quorum, insiders report. Political critics have lauded the attempts by the Hegemonic Quorum to release possibly sensitive documentation in an attempt to foster stronger international relations.

Since Sheplania and Ivelboria recently made VAISOU, which is a special union between Velfhambulen, Ambelviser, Ivelboria and Sheplania, and because of the drama going on, the two countries have come together to solve the problem altogether.

Knarberg Ludashenka, the President of Sheplania, and Jabon Meles, the Senior Ambassador of Ivelboria, came together to solve the protests in Ambelviser, which also migrated to Ivelborian Borders. Normally, borders are not guarded, but in this rare case, it's been locked/closed due to the major drama coming to 2 of the most important countries and members of VAISOU. When the Ivelborian Ambassador came, he was encountered with a caring and welcoming welcome. It was set in Victoria in Southern Sheplania.

InterNOtional Campagin in shock after poll shows Yes lead

The InterNOtional Campaign, the official campaign for a no vote in the upcoming Co-operative Union referendum, was sent into meltdown today after a shock poll by the National Polling Organisation gave Yes 43% of the vote, a whole 4 point lead of No. Both campaigns have spent their time courting undecided voters, however the Yes campaign Co-operative Callumstan, believes it is winning the argument in terms of logic. A senior camapgin spokesperson told C365 "The people of this country are beginning to see that voting no does not help Callumstan in anyway, and hinders our ability to be and outward looking, and progressive nation." No one from the NO campaign was available to comment, however, a source close to Richard Sanchez, Conservative Leader and supporter of InterNOtional has said that the Tory leader does not believe the polls are accurate, the leader allegedly saying "Yes may have the lead today, but they will not have it in a month's time!"

NPO published their poll at 12 o'clock, stating that the sample size for their poll was 957 likely voters, giving their poll a margin of error of 3%. This means that although the race is statistically tied, Yes does appear to be pulling ahead. Taking a look at the increase in support for both sides since the first NPO poll, Yes has increased it support at a quicker pace to No, which leads some to believe that the Yes vote may continue to surge in the coming weeks. However, the No campaign is banking on a come back after the debate that will be held in a weeks time on Callumstan 365, where they hope to push their argument as to why Callumstanians should vote No!

Pondes Shot! New Government Forming!

Today marked a new day in Imperial History. The fact is shown by the fact that Imperial may soon no longer be the term applied to our citizens. Piet Pondes, brief Emperor of Jahe Davmwoem, composer, was shot outside the Cloudtop Hotel. The two assassins were shot immediately. King William James has been given the choice to leave or stay, but if he stays he must follow the current rules of the marshal law. His choice is not yet known.

Louwrens Cornelis has emerged as the leader, being the chosen successor of Pondes, and being strong enough to push away the claims of others. However, he has rejected the title of Emperor. He will serve as head of state under the title of Lord Protector. Markus will be given the throne back, but the throne will no longer hold any sway over the new nation.

So what is this new Government? It is called the Highrock Confederation. A constitution is in draft, but the new government is very swift. All major buildings in Highrock have already had their flags replaced.

The planned system is allegedly a confederation of provinces, each declaring loyalty to Highrock. The government will control economics, but according to the wishes of the Lord Protector, the constitution will include a bill of rights which will loosen up rules on social aspects a great deal. Also, the social programs will be drastically cut, given only to students, elderly, mentally ill, and injured. The rest will get benefits under a state employment program of which details are not yet known.

Finally, Katherine Karma of Keomora is invited to sign a peace treaty, but she will have to recognize the authority of the Confederation.

Today, just outside the Parliament Building in Williamsburg, (Not named for the leader, but after the man who discovered us, Sir William Bradley) The Most Hon. Roosevelt Williams spoke on how he plans to bring this small island nation we call home foreword as a progressive beacon of happiness peace, concluding his speech with, "I was born here 51 years ago, I will die here, and I will make sure we will survive! Nous Vivrons, Nous Combattrons, Nous Gagnerons! Long live the island of peace, Soufrieria!" Williams is our first prime minister and our first leader, after winning the recent elections. He and the Liberal Democrats defeated the opposition, The People's Union For Soufrieria, and the minor third party, The Socialist League of Soufrieria. He was born in Williamsburg and lived most of his life here as a lawyer before joining the protests that led to our independence. He will be prime minister for the next 6 years, unless he wins the next election, giving him 12 years. There will be a parade this Saturday in WIlliamsburg celebrating this event, so don't miss it!

Military Launches Operation Enduring Democracy

The Defense Ministry announced late on Tuesday, 18 October 2016, that military action would be taken against the "illegitimate government that has seized control of Ossia Island", according to Deputy Minister Joachim Roberdo. In September, the retired Santa Lucritan General Jack Svensson launched a coup d'etat against the Lucritan-allied government of Ossia Island, the Ossoslatian Congress, and succeeded in replacing the Republic of Ossoslatia with a new government he called "Nuebo Ossia". Most members of the Congress were able to escape to Ciudad da Santa Lucrita, and set up a government in exile, which has been calling for action to restore their government to power.

Following allegations of human rights abuses, later confirmed by the Watchdog Group, a human rights organization, Governor-General Galmora issued a formal condemnation against Gen. Svensson. Heated debate in the Assembly and Council led to a recommendation of referral to a military commission for evaluation of the situation.

The Mail was able to interview with Brigadier General Ozo, who recommended military intervention. Brig. Gen. Ozo said that he could not comment on exact details of the operation, but confirmed that long-distance naval shelling had destroyed an airfield and several of Svensson's jets. The operation is being kept under wraps in order to insure the safety of the teams involved.

Criticism has been leveled against the Principality for interfering in another nation's affairs by several international groups, including Santa Lucritans Abroad. However, the notoriously critical "Anti-Government Hour" radio programme has remained silent on the issue. Initial polling indicates that 65% of Santa Lucritans support the action, likely due to the close ties between the Principality and the former Republic of Ossoslatia.

Operation Prole Enters Phase Two

Today the High Office released a statement annoucing that the countryside around Cuacos has been taken from Insurgent Forces. General Sam T. Robinson stated that Cuacos will be under Decorish control by Monday. Extra rations of honey were given out to the collective. The people are overjoyed at this news.

Current reports indicate that the number of infected in Cuacos peaked at a total of 340 anthrax cases with over 200 deaths. The High Office has told the Insurgents if Cuacos surrenders, there will be medical aid rushed into the city immediately. Insurgent forces have not responded.

Sabor Passes Bill Allowing Self-Driving Cars

After weeks of hammering and back-and-forth between politicians, scientists, and the Glorious Dictator, a deal has come out of the Sabor that allows self-driving cars to be purchased and operated on some Pozlacen streets. Mig-31's to be upgraded

The 67 mig 31's in service with the CLA (chileanan liberation army) air force.
The intention is to upgrade their airframe an engines in order to prolong their survicability and introduce supercruise.
This way these planes will be able to better match more modern planes of potentially hostile governments.
A test of the first aircraft serviced, which served as a prototype was able to intercept a cruise missile flying over mach 3.
Overall the test proved the project a success and will now be carried out for all remaining planes.

Armed Forces Open to All

While the culture of Santa Lucrita has long been tolerant and supportive of the LGBTQ+ community, this has not always been true of the armed forces. There has been a history of tension between members of the community and the military, not in the least because of allegations of discrimination, which have been reported on in the past by the Mail's own Yonda Morrenda. With military recruitment numbers down, there has been of officially removing ‘sodomy’ regulations in the armed forces in order to allow homosexuals to serve openly. While these regulations are never enforced, and haven't been for over 175 years, they present a barrier to many LGBTQ+ individuals who wish to serve in the armed forces beyond the mandatory youth service. The Mail interviewed several individuals, including a young Air Force Lieutenant Colonel, Alfred James Smiley.

“God doesn’t enter into it,” said Smiley, head shaking. “Times are changing, and people are becoming more accepting of homosexuals. Allowing homosexuals to serve openly will increase our recruitment pool and actually simplify things."

The Defense Ministry issued an official statement today that the laws have been struck from the infamous Libro de Reclas, the bylaws for the military. Organizations from around Baltazar and Arendenya Island have applauded the decision, including the foremost LGBTQ+ organization in Santa Lucrita, the Rainbow Coalition.

Governor-General Tristan Galmora said on Thursday that this was a "momentous occasion in the proud history of our nation's military."

Cuacos Surrenders

Today stands as a major victory over the forces of capitalism. Early this morning Insurgent leaders broadcasted a statement announcing the surrender of Cuacos. An hour later teams of health care workers rushed in to the city to treat the anthrax outbreak. As the armies of the collective marched through the streets people cheered from their windows welcoming the return of their liberty. Insurgent forces were jailed and sent to reeducation camps in an undisclosed location. There was little violence in the transfer of power, as Insurgent leaders made sure their subordinates acted respectfully.

At 3:36 PM troops landed on the beaches of northern Afra Island. The fighting there continues. The Insurgents are slowly losing ground every day. Soon the nation will be united as a single collective.

Today marks the 65th birthday of the Glorious Dictator Hyenrik Sklodowski, the great and proud leader of the grand nation of Pozlacenslavia. The special occasion was marked by a massive military parade containing almost all active-duty troops not currently occupied. The only sounds heard this morning besides the massive amounts of cheering was the thunder-like rumbling of thousands of boots and the national anthem, "Hej, Sloveni!" blaring from loudspeakers scattered around the metropolis. The government is distributing extra food such as dressed chicken, fully prepared steaks and other such meals that are traditional in Pozlacenslavia, such as goulash, pierogis and others. This day, officially known as "Dictator's Day" is known as a sort of Thanksgiving in the country, and all schools and businesses closed. Hyenrik led the Revolution against the Royalty of Pozlacenslavia and singlehandedly led the nation from a backwards feudal monarchy into the future, recently supporting the controlled addition of self-driving cars to our roads.

Supreme commissar Keaka Misipeka vows to support socialist revolutionaries around the world

In a defiant speech, held to commemorate the workers revolution in Chileana supreme commissar Keaka Misipeka vowed to fund and actively support socialist revolutionaries around the globe.
He stated that the international proletariat has nothing to fear from the greedy upper class that has repressed them for centuries.
He went on to say that the world is in a permanent revolutionary state as the lower classes struggle to break their chains and that countries who had already broken those chains should support their shackled brethren.
As soon as he had uttered those words the crowd spontaniously sung the Internationale, the song symbolic of the struggle of the working class and Chileana's official anthem.
Large sums of foreign currency aquired by the regime in previous years have already been sent on their way to revolutionary groups abroad according to the commissar of defence.

Man living on the outskirts of Vexorus declares self independent from penrid
,police says man has ties to the Imperial Group.

On October 20th, a man named Jorgie Davis who lives on the Outskirts of Vexorus.declared himself independent from Penrid entirely saying that "The Government does not deserve his taxes and that the Imperial Revolution will start with him."After a brief stand off with police, the man fired shots at police, police returned fire and shot the man dead.

Then a day later the Vexorus Chief of Police, Jonathan Yanland had this to say about the incident "This man was a traitor to his country and should be considered as so by all true Penridians." Then later that day the Imperial Group issued a statement via hijacking local news channels and saying this "This man was slathered by a corrupt government who's power is shown by this act of desperation by killing a man loyal to our cause, he shall be mourned but not forgotten for we shall have our revenge, the Imperial Revolution starts now..."

After the message was broadcast throughout Penrid, prime minister David Luxorus had this to say " These so called Rebels are nothing but nuisance and will be easily dealt with." After this message was delivered to the people of Penrid the NPD began to patrol the streets and began to raid people's homes who were suspected Rebels. Death Penalty Abolished

After the horrible crimes of Santa Lucrita's prison wardens were exposed, the General Assembly voted to abolish the death penalty.

A case reported in the Santa Lucrita Naysayer led to a nationwide uncovering of organ smuggling circles run by prison wardens. We now know that the wardens of the three largest prisons in Santa Lucrita - Pentitentaria da Santa Lucrita, the Andanyan Correctional Campus, and the National Prison - all harvested organs from executed prisoners. They pocketed millions from this disgusting violation of their positions, and multiple class-action lawsuits were filed against them. The wardens have since been incarcerated and are in maximum security, in Military Prison 01.

Following major protests across the country, including by a notable alternative religious group, the government began to entertain the possibility of removing the death penalty. Following an extended full session of the Assembly on Saturday morning, the Assembly passed a bill that removed the death penalty and instituted mandatory counseling sessions for prisoners. The Coucil of State did not use their power to review the bill, and Governor-General Galmora signed it on Saturday evening.

Prime Minister to embark on week long tour of the Eastern Western Isles

The office of the Prime Minister is today announcing the Prime Minister of Covonant Imperatus Marl, itinerary that involves the Prime Minister visits to countries in the eastern side of the region. Speaking to the CBC is Permanent Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister Gaia Gale.

The Prime Minister has expressed his wish to visit a few of Covonant's allies and countries of interest to the Union. The Prime Minister will be visiting Corindia, Moukere, and Bikkustan

She notes that the trip should last roughly for 5 days.

The first visit will be to Corindia. The Prime Minister will be spending two days there where he is expected to visit the Covonantian military base on Flores Island. He will also be holding talks with the President of Corindia Mr. Lindsey Abello. They have both expressed concern over Atnaia's seemingly growing imperialistic nature, as well as concern over the nuclear test that occurred very close to Corindian territories by Decorus Inperium. The Prime Minister will also use the trip to strengthen ties and relations with Corinidia. Following the visit to Corindia the Prime Minister will then be flown off to Moukere for a 1 day and 1 night visit. He is expected to meet with the newly instilled President Mr. Pierre Khalfani. Covonant has special interest in the development of Moukere and have pledge great support to many projects in the country. The Prime Minister is expected to visit schools, and hospitals and hold a forum meeting with key government officials in Moukere. The Prime Minister has expressed concerns noting that Moukere is a socialist country, he is willing to cooperate with the Moukeris as long as they show where they keep in line with international conducts and standards. The Moukere President has expressed his will of forging closer ties to New Aapellistan, which the Prime Minister is hoping to change. Following his visit to Moukere, he will then be visiting Bhikkustan for 2 days. He plans to hold talks with the Bhikkustani Khan Surevi Khan to discuss the ongoing conflict with Bhikkustan and Great Imperialonia and to also forge peaceful cooperative ties to the country

Mrs. Gale noted that this visit may bring about controversy among Covonantians and countries around the Isle, but she notes the Prime Minister is using diplomacy as a tool to bring peace. She expressed following the Prime Minister's visit to the east of the Isles, he will be the honoured guest of The Democratic Republic of Athara Magarat for an official state visit.

The Prime Minister is expected to leave for Corindia on Wednesday.

Praetorian Guard chief express that security would be of optimal importance for eastern trips

The Chief of the Praetorian Guards Malachi Rowe is expressing that the workings of the Praetorian Guards would have to be world standard as security of the Prime Minister and his staff on his eastern trips will be of high importance.

We have been briefed of the trips and where the Prime Minister will actually be going and these are very hostile places. So we have to ensure that the security details of the Prime Minister is well in order.

He noted that military planes have already flown ahead to Corindia carrying the vehicles that will be transporting the Prime Minister and his teams.

How we normally do foreign trips is the vehicles and other equipments are flown in advanced, so right now they have already been flown to Corindia

Mr. Rowe noted that their main concern is the Prime Minister's visit to Bhikkustan.

We are more so planning intensely the security of the Prime Minister when he visits Bhikkustan. The country is at war and there have been mounting protest occurring so we would have to ensure that the security detail is well detailed.

He notes that though the visit may be at a tense time, they have a role and it must be played.

I am not in a position to tell the Prime Minister where he can or can't visit. I can advise him in accordance with the Ministry of Defense who our portfolio falls under. Noting the time of the visit is tense, we have a duty to protecting the Prime Minister and that is what we shall do.

He notes that foreign trips are far different from local tours. He express that they are at the discrepancies of the foreign security personnel.

A foreign trip is never easy as we as Praetorian Guards can make suggestions and the country that is hosting us may have constraints that they may not be able to provide what we ask for. Its not like we can go to a foreign country and make demands. Well we can and then they will be sure to remind us that this is not Covonant, our words does not apply. For instance, we could decide in a matter of minutes to divert traffic to allow passage of the Prime Minister's motorcade, in a foreign country the route has to be expressed beforehand and we have to make best of what we are given to work with

Prime Minister's eastern trips to cost taxpayers



Just how much does it cost to transport the Prime Minister around the Western Isles. Well we here at the CBC brought that question to the Government Financial Services Department to give an explanation of the figures. Speaking on CBC financial programme MoniesDirect Mr. Atoni Capernicus head of the Financial Services noted that the trips could cost in excess of $112 million dollars.

The Prime Minister's trip expense is estimated to cost withing the region of $112 million. It is a hefty bill but once you break it down it kinda seems necessary noting the intensity of the trip.You factor in the cost for staff, fuel, upkeep of vehicles and the plane, as well cost for security and accommodations and food.

He notes that the figures should not be made an issue as this is Prime Minister's Marl first major overseas visit.

It would be really unfortunate if we make an issue out of the cost because during his four years as Prime Minister he has rarely travelled so this is understandable.

Major Losses in War on Afra Insurgents, Bureau of Health to Expand Food Availability

This morning on the front lines, Afra Insurgents killed 267 Decorish men and women with a multitude rocket attacks. This weaponry is unprecidented in the history of fighting the Insurgents. "Never before have we seen this kind of technology among these scum." - said General Sam T. Robinson, "The sheer amount of rockets used was insane! Beleive me, the Bureau of Defense, Information, and Foreign Affairs will be collaberating to figure out how they got these weapons." Mourning was commonplace throughout the nation today. Flags were flown at half mast and a moment of scilence was taken in honor of the dead before the High Office met today.

In lighter news the Bureau of Health has said it would expand the types of food available to the people. A statement realeased this afternoon shows that Bread Stations will be offering alternatives to the 8.3 ml of honey rationed out. "This is just a first step. We expect to see a large ammount of variety in our peoples diet, but this will take time. Our officials are hard at work to determine meals fit for the population." -Gratia Newell, Director of Health.

Major Fleet Action Off Eurania

The Miklanian First Fleet was attacked en masse by Euranian forces two weeks ago, defense officials stated in a written release to the press. News was not provided earlier due to operational security concerns.

According to the press release, the fleet, centered around carrier RMS Stormkeeper, detected and successfully engaged a saturation attack launched from Euranian submarines and surface vessels immediately before the Euranian government was "restructured", as the release phrased it. Defense officials speculate that the Euranian commanders were aware of the capitulation when they decided to launch the attack, and then officially surrendered before a retaliatory strike could be launched. No strikes have been directed at the Euranians since.

Secretary of State to visit San Javier

In a surprise move the Keomoran State Department announced their intention to reestablish relations with the State of San Javier. Enjoying a close friendship with the state during the seventies and eighties, relations soured after the government requested the use of the harbor and the lease of San Martin and Isla Mujeres. The secretary of state Falk Whyn stated that future relations will be "detrimental with reestablishing stability and democracy within San Javier, alongside economic prosperity."
