Who are we?
We are Royal Rhodeland Airways, the flag carrier and the biggest airline of The Federation of Rhodeland. We operate from Rhodecity International Airport, the biggest airport in The Federation of Rhodeland.

Our history
We, Royal Rhodeland Airways, were founded at 2 April 1970. Responding to constant request from citizens, the government of The Federal Republic of Rhodeland (now The Federation of Rhodeland) acquired 5 Boeing 737-200. After 5 years operating, we acquired our first Boeing 747-100.
In 1980, Rhodeland Peaceful Revolution took place. The monarchy system was restored and King Franz Heather was named as the King of Rhodeland. Due to that, we changed our name into Royal Rhodeland Airways. On 2 April 1985, 15 years in operation, we rolled out our first slogan, "The Royal Airline of Rhodeland".
In 1986, we acquired our very first Airbus A320, replacing our aging Boeing 737-200. We found that the performance of this type is exceptional, therefore we decided to use Airbus A320 for domestic use.
In 1990, we revealed our new livery and new slogan, "Discover More". This means that we want our customers to discover more while flying with us.
On 1 January 1991, we started installing Personal TV on every airplanes. We were one of the pioneer of in-flight entertainment.

On 3 February 1998, we received our first Airbus A330-200, allowing us to fly to very far destinations, while at the same time, enabling us to retire our 23 years old Boeing 747-100.
On 1 January 2002, we rolled out the very new interior and in-flight entertainment as seen in the cabin pictures.
In 2010, we revealed our new logo and new livery. The livery and logo were noted as "very fresh and very modern"

To fulfill its commitment, Rhodeland Airways had finally announced 2 new international destinations, allowing more tourists to come to Rhodeland and more Rhodelandese to visit another country. Both of the destinations are currently being catered by the Airbus A330-200, but if the demand is high, Rhodeland Airways will change the plane to the bigger one.

In Kingsmouth International Airport, Rhodeland Airways had also opened its first overseas lounge, named The Rhodeland Lounge, placed on plot #3.

Dreamliners on Order

Boeing 787 Dreamliner

Expecting to reach more destinations, Royal Rhodeland Airways finally ordered 10 Boeing 787 Dreamliners. The first delivery will be commenced at January 2011. All of the Dreamliners will be fitted with International Configuration, which has 10 First Class seats, 20 Business Class seats, and 250 Economy Class seats. However, the seats will not be the same with the old one in the other planes we have.


New Colours Takes Off in January 2011

Following the comments from our loyal passengers, Royal Rhodeland Airways had chosen to renew the livery on the aircraft. The new livery is currently being designed by RColours, a joint venture of Rhodeland Advertising Agency and Pacific Associates. An employee of RColours had stated that the new livery will bear a modern and sleek design of the brand "Royal Rhodeland Airways" and a specially designed flag on the tail. The new livery will be painted first on the first Boeing 787 Dreamliner.


"Modern" and "Minimalist" Defines The New Cabin




Following the order of 10 Boeing 787 Dreamliners, Royal Rhodeland Airways has designed new seats for the Boeing 787 Dreamliners. However, the economy seats will remain same as 95% of our passengers said that the current economy class is good and doesn't need to be renewed.

In First Class, the seats will be fitted with 23" LCD screens. Passengers will be able to enjoy more than 100 movies at their disposal. Passengers will also be able to call their friends, families, or relatives with our Dedicated Personal Satellite Phone.

In Business Class, passengers will be pampered with a 17" LCD screens at every seat, allowing passengers to enjoy more than 100 movies.

On the beginning of December, Royal Rhodeland Airways and RColours had a logo launching at the Tiara Hotel Marina. The launching was very successful, and people who have attended the launching feel satisfied. "After all the suggestions, RColours have managed to launch a very simple, sleek and modern logo, but still bearing the Rhodelandese Pride", said Mr. Mark Steel, Director of PR of Royal Rhodeland Airways. "The logo is very good. It's just simple, but not cheap. We are gonna love it!" said His Majesty King Franz Heather of Rhodeland.

Breaking News

Tiara Hotel Marina Bay, Rhodecity, Rhodeland - Today, the CEO of Royal Rhodeland Airways, Mrs. Linda Gerome, and CEO of Tiara Airlines, Mr. Gregory Robinson, signed an agreement for a 25 years of partnership where Tiara Airlines with its 25 Embraer ERJ-175 will be the feeder to Royal Rhodeland Airways.

However, although the planes are owned and will be operated by Tiara Airlines, the planes will be painted in Royal Rhodeland Airways Connect paint scheme, a bit different from Royal Rhodeland Airways paint scheme.

The agreement was made by knowing the fact that currently, Tiara Airlines fly to almost all city in The Federation of Rhodeland, while on the other hand, Royal Rhodeland Airways is focused on flying to international destinations and main cities.



This agreement puts 20 more domestic destinations and 25 aircraft to Royal Rhodeland Airways' operation.

First Class Terminal For Premiums

Royal Rhodeland Airways, together with Rhodecity International Airport, have finished the development of First Class Terminal. This terminal is dedicated only for First Class Passengers and RRPC Diamond. In this terminal, passengers can enjoy a dedicated check-in area, exclusive immigration area, and a very big waiting room, which resembles a gigantic version of our First Class Lounge. At the second floor, passengers may enjoy a superb bathing experience and, ultimately, napping rooms!

Boeing 777-300ERs On Order

In order to operate to further destinations, we have ordered 15 Boeing 777-300ER. This type of airplane is able to fly further than Boeing 787 Dreamliner. Seats in this type is configured just like as our Boeing 787 Dreamliner, making almost no differences at all.

Mood Lighting In All (Long Haul) Flights

Recent studies shown that modd lighting is proven to be a very successful way to make passengers comfortable and well adjusted to the new timezone. And actually, we have secretly started the job to install mood lighting in all of our long haul fleet starting in December 2010, and it is fully done now. Newest Subsidiary, For Brissians

Brissians have asked us frequently to start major operation from Brissia. Therefore, we have established our newest subsidiary, Air Brissia. Air Brissia operates from Brissia International Airport to domestic destinations currently, but we believe that more international destinations will soon come. When flying with Air Brissia, RRPC members will receive miles from their flight too.
