How about the topic on what should be important skill sets for a libertarian to have. Like say cooking, or mechanical, or hunting, etc.

Near useless topic but something to hopefully get us on a trail.

To me I say reading is the most important skill any libertarian could have whether right or left due to the knowledge that can be gained to learn the above mentioned and more.

EDIT: NWR beat me to a topic.. meh.. I am still observing the elections.

Johnson recently polled at 24% there compared to Clinton's 35%, I think it's very within reach.

I think Alaska is more likely than NM, actually. They got 11% for the Lib candidate in 1980, when the Clark campaign got 1%

He's polling higher in NM and 538 gives him a better chance there.

It's possible yeah, sucks there's not much polling or anything out of Alaska that I'm aware of.

RCP from above

IMO it seems like he was going down in Alaska for a while. I mean it's only 600k people but I would definitely hold a rally in Anchorage if I were him. The LP traditionally does well in Alaska.

Last one to do so was Wallace. He too had his support concentrated, rather than being diffused across the entire country.

Ron Paul won't be voting for the Libertarian Nominee, Gary Johnson

Really now? I understand he isn't the purest of Libertarians but to suggest the Green Party? Umm, no.

Ron Paul's paleoconservatism is quite different from what is espoused by the Libertarian Party.

Considering paleoconservatism espouses high tariffs and trade and immigration restrictions*, I would think so to if Ron Paul believed in it.

Trump is far closer to a paleocon.

Ditto.

There is probably a deeper political or personal reason for remaining off the fence. We don't have to pick sides, in fact it only increases the tribalism run rampant in American politics.

A lot can happen in 12 years.

I am eligible in 2020, but I doubt loading trucks and moderating NSG is considered a strong resume.
