The known world is in chaos! The dominant power in Essos, the Valyrian Freehold, has collapsed when the Valyrian peninsula was destroyed through the Doom of Valyria. The colonies and conquests of Valyria have broken away and bedlam has erupted. The nine Free Cities have been formed, only to fall into warfare against one another. On Dragonstone the Targaryens have chosen not to intervene, hoarding their own strength instead.
Taking advantage of the power vacuum, the Dothraki have emerged from the central plains and laid waste to lands surrounding the Dothraki sea. They have conquered the kingdoms of Sarnor and Ifequevron and the Ibbenese colony of Ibbish to the north, as well as the Valyrian colony of Essaria to the west. The Dothraki also have raided Ghiscari and Qartheen settlements to the south.
In Westeros there sits Seven Kings; The Storm King of the Stormlands, The King in The North, The King of the Mountain and Vale, The King of the Iron Islands and The Trident, The King of The Rock of the Westerlands, The King of the Reach and the Prince of Dorne! With the Targaryens and their dragons only a flight away from conquest. All of these powers fighting for land and dominance of Westeros. Will you be able to unite Westeros under one rule? Or will your house fall to Fire and Blood! The World will bleed and the Game of Thrones begins
Introduction
Welcome everyone to Game of Thrones: The Century of Blood, a RP set during the years before Aegon's Conquest when there were Seven Kings in Westeros and the Dothraki had just emerged. In this RP, you will take control of noble or a commoner, a Lord or Lady, King or Queen, Sellsword or Khal, Merchant Lord or Prince.
This will be a character driven RP, with significant factional, political, and military aspects. Can you win the Game of Thrones?
There are a few Rules to follow:
1) The OP and Co-ops are Gods, their word is law.
2) This is a fantasy RP but try and be realistic. Travel time, combat, and politicking are all important, dont go too crazy
3) No god modding, metagaming etc.
4) This is going to be a freeform RP, time will vary between posts.
5) This will be an RP based on character development and progression, do not expect storylines to develop for you, make your own and involve other players. If you are stuck with nothing to do, OP/CO-OP will give your a task or an idea.
6) Keep the Lore restricted to A Song of Ice and Fire material only
7) House Targaryen will be controlled by the OP, with the minor houses available however they will not be interacting with the rest of the world till much later in the RP. Custom Valyrian houses can only have five members or less and they hold little land or no land at all. You may ask the OP to play as a member of house Targaryen should any be available
8 ) Please keep characters in the Free Cities, Westeros and the Stepstones. If character are all the way over in let's say Yi Ti they wouldn't get much interaction.
9) Have FUN
And now we move on to the character creation stage.
You may make your own house, however, they will be subject to stringent review, and canon houses are preferred. A new house may invent a new castle, but will not be able to take over lands or titles from a canon house. Your application will not be accepted until all fields are filled out.
