Alright, so, the intention of this RP should be fairly clear: SOAR has taken hostages at Port Gray International Airport. The hostages are a collection of people from around the isles, both Atnaian and foreign. Players each play as a hostage, while I will control the baddies. I have a list of all 20 terrorists, and I will also be doing up a map of the terminal if we need it. Otherwise, the goals should be clear: survive the hostage situation or escape.

I do have ulterior motives for this RP. My government will be using it as an excuse to begin mandatory Atdent registration and to roll out checkpointing in major cities and at transportation hubs like train stations and airports. Essentially, I want to turn the authoritarian overtones of my nation up a little. I figured this would be a fun way to do it, and of course it will serve to shake up diplomacy a bit.

That being said, I think time dilation will come into heavy play here: the events of the hostage crisis shouldn't take more than 48 IC hours, while the RP will likely take weeks, so we will have to be careful about news stories and whatnot in that time.

Anyways, post your character ideas and interest here. I'll probably limit the RP to about 5 or so PCs, and the rest will be NPCs run jointly or by me as pseudo-GM.

I didn't put a code on purpose. I wasn't looking for stat blockss on the PCs, I just wanted to know who was interested and use the space for planning. The characters can be described a bit more organically, but if people prefer this, whatever.

As possible as a hostage can be. No ulterior motives. Just a nurse visiting her relatives who arrived in Atnaia at a bad time. Have her try to plead to the SOAR to listen to a fellow Balnian (she is from the Chepangic Baln Church of Athara Magarat) to not harm the hostages.

Though the terrorists WILL NEVER listen to her anyway.

Atnaia - I assume Ninja and Jason would check in restrooms, so in one of the restrooms they should come across a service cupboard door they can't open (they'd be able to push it slightly and realize that some stuff are stuck there). When Will ran inside he caused a bit of a mess and stuff fell down and blocked the door from the inside.

Perhaps the Atnaian government requires help and there are Pozlacen citizens in the terminal, so we form a duo-national police force to work out the situation?

Something Die Hard-ish combined with a hostage revolt and police infiltration.
The hostages realize that numerical strength, combined with the police, cause them not to fear the terrorists and they swarm them.
