Nicholas growled as everyone attacked him. One girl's energy discs struck him. Most reflected off his ice armor, but a few cut his hands and arms. Hissing in pain, he whirled and sent a gust of wind, sending Felicia to the ground. Too many here. He saw several... horses? running at him. Horses?!?! I never should've gone south. The... horses... shot some sort of energy ball at him. Nicholas leapt off the spider, and the ball exploded against the roof.
Landing on the icy ground, Nicholas whirled to see another horse teleport behind him. Nicholas waved a hand and a curtain of snow plowed into the horse, knocking it down. He frowned as he saw every one gearing up for another attack. One student in particular, appeared to have weather control. The boy threw an icicle at his feet.

Raising both his hands, Nicholas watched as all around the auditorium, humanoid figures made of ice formed from the fog and began attacking all the students. Except for Stephan. Nicholas turned to face him, cracking his knuckles. "You're lucky. My soldiers can take all the others, but I saved you for myself."

The wind whirled faster, forcing Stephen to the ground. There, ice began rapidly crawling up his legs as Nicholas advanced

Stephan looked around the room, his temper remained the same. nothing. he felt nothing. He needed to focus , otherwise he would die. He saw the figures dealing with each student and then the man saying he was going to deal with him himself. He was forced to the ground by a wind gust. "see now, i don't have a problem with this..." He mustered out. He felt the ice creeping up his legs and he looked at the man. The ice slowed up his legs and he clenched his fists against the ground and lifted his legs up, ice still on them. He stood, against the wind. He straightened, his hair frizzing from electricity and the ice on his legs broke away.

He glared at the man. "at least give me a name. I'm stephan." His voice cold. He felt nothing. He was getting to that point he never wanted to get to. He turned the wind into rain with a wave of his hand. He then stopped the rain and then with anther wave, he removed the rest of the fog covering the room. 'What you control. I control. This is going to be a long battle. Let's see what you are made of shall we?" He stood before the man, tank top, boots and pants and hair that was on edge from the electricity. He focused on only the man before him. He needed to be careful.

"Dead men don't need to know names," Nicholas said. Raising his arms, Nicholas send two waves of snow crashing in from either side, with Stephen in the middle. The water from the rain on the floor rapidly froze, catching the feet of many of the students.

"Is this what they call superpowers nowadays?" Nicholas wondered aloud. "Pathetic." He raised his ice sword and slashed down at Stephen.

He jumped towards the sword, avoiding the snow on either side of him and lightning shot from his hand, cracking the ice sword into shards. He landed back on the ground, on top of the snow pile It soon whirled around him and Nicholas. Stephan stood with his arms crossed across his chest. His lips turned purple and the snow storm around them turned into ice daggers around them. He watched the person before him.

Nicholas reeled from the lightning. It broke his sword, but the thick ice protected him. With a wave of his hand, the ice daggers scattered, several dozen headed to each student in the room except Stephan. At the same time, Nicholas darted forward grabbing Stephan by the throat. Not hard enough to strangle, but holding the boy tightly. Lightning crackled up his arm but the armor protected him.

A knife of ice appeared in his other hand, which he pressed gently against Stephan's stomach. He gestured at the daggers. "Youre at a school, so here's a test, boy. Either save them," indicating the daggers flying towards his fellow students. "Or save yourself," nodding at the knife.

OOC: Stephan isn't gonna die. Don't worry.

(alright.)

Stephan was caught off guard by his speed and when his throat was grabbed he didn't do anything except place his hands on the guys' wrists and looked at him in the eyes. "i'd rather save them." As he said this, the ice daggers towards the other students' turned into snow balls and Stephan grabbed the mans' wrist tighter, ice nails formed, going through the armor into the mans skin and flesh. he then shot lightning through his fingers, through the ice into the mans flesh. Stephans hair was glowing bright yellow and his eyes flared with a fierce fire. "I'm going to tell you again. Leave. My. Friends. Alone." His voice threatening and deadly.

Ice formed over Stephans body as well, near his stomach mostly.

Pitch Black, Bounty Hunt and Filia est Umbra

Pitch Black yelped as Nicholas unleashed snow upon him. Pitch growled and a burnning glow began to radiate from his horn, causing the snow to melt. "Gah! So your element is ice?" crackled the black unicorn as he stormed out of the pile of stone, "I thought so! Guess it's time tp heat things up."

Pitch Black then glanced around to find himself surrounded by beings mad out of ice in offensive postion. The black extraterrestrial unicorn scoffed and began to unleash green balls of burning fire upon his foes which obviously caused them to melt. "Burn! All of you!" he crackled as he unleashed his fire attacks, "You're fools to face one who's been training in all of the elemental arts!"

Bounty Hunt, meanwhile, yelped seeing his attack failed to strike. "Gah! I hope I didn't hit Jonas!" he shouted before finding himself surrounded by ice warriors. Bounty Hunt sniffled and sneezed due to his cold, but his face was still stern. His horn flared up a fiery blue once more and he began unleashing fighting off the attackers with his own fiery attacks.

Filia est Umbra squaked as she found herself surrounded by mean looking snow people. However, her demonic orange eyes became as cold as the ice warriors themselves. Within moments, Filia was attacking and dodging the icey foes, striking them with her umbrakinetic attacks, while melting into the shadows to dodge.

Eventually, all three students found themselves at each other's back. Pitch Black looked around at his 'allies' and crackled. "Guess we're at this again, eh Bounty you fuck?" he laughed.

"Guess so, old friend." groaned Bounty Hunt, still fending off the warriors with his own attacks and defenses, while his nose dripped with snot, "Just don't be a coward and run off like last time."

Pitch Black scoffed. "Hmph. First you should know by now that we're not friends, you sanctimonious fuck!" he barked, ss he engulfed an ice warrior in green flames, "Second, I shall do I please. Thank you very much."

Filia groaned as the two unicorns fought verbally. "I-i don't t-think that t-this is a-a good t-time t-to argue g-guys!" she spoke sternly yet softly as she continued her own fighting against the snow soldiers. However, one particularly powerful snow warrior, overpowered her and brought the young cambion onto the floor. Filia looked up in terror as the snow warrior held her down and prepared it's weapon for a 'killing' blow.

Felicia sighed in relief as the daggers transformed into snowballs, and easily dodged them. The Ice Soldier, catching her off guard, cut her arm. She winced, and noticing a friend (Pitch Black), she ran over to them.

Meanwhile, Al, excited from the fight, drained a bit of Pitch’s magic so he could create a physical body for him to fight in. Felicia gasped, and then muttered to herself.

“Oh god... after a boss battle, there’ll be another boss battle... I don’t think I can handle that...”

‘Dear? I don’t understand what you are saying at all. I think you should just fight.’

A red-haired, crimson-eyed man with horns and a tail ran forward, brandishing a red tritdent. The trident’s sharp end had flames running on it, and after swinging the weapon, Al easily impaled an ice soldier. He grinned maniacally, turning to the invader.

“Hehehe! This is going to be SO much FUN!”

Eliza Vapore- Teacher

You could never hurt me.

If you’re the dark, then I’ll be the guiding light to balance you out.

Eliza shivered slightly as Alucard puller her into his embrace, like an animal that had had its fur pet for the first time. After a long pause, she let out her breath softly, in a long drawn out sigh.

“Oh, Alucard.. I desire nothing more than... you.”

Her hand reached up to his face and delicately plucked his glasses off the bridge of his nose. She dropped them carelessly on the floor with a faint clatter. Her hand reached back up to caress the cool chiselled marble of his face, turning it towards her so that she could drink in every single last detail. Her long fingers lightly brushed aside his tousled hair to reveal the warm red pools of his eyes. In them, she saw not a monster, but a kindred soul- someone who deep down below their mask of arrogance still possessed the best parts of humanity- respect and pride, love and affection.

"Aaand, done." Micah stepped back from the canvas, and revealed the painting. It wasn't the best Micah had done, but it was good. It depicted, through the view of a shattered window, a man, untouched by the winter storm around him, walking down a hill into the white of the snow. Oh, he was also carrying a frozen body. Yeah. Little details can have profound effects on a person. Micah put that painting inside his backpack, next to a manilla folder that contained various scenes of a battle between an ice manipulator and other folks. As Micah turned to his other painting, he saw the shattered window, and some of the other folks, and realized that the battle he painted was just behind him. He shrugged, and continued to put his paintings away. He picked up another painting. This one had a little building at the foot of a hill, next to a dock. Both were beautifully covered with the Christmas snow. At the top, in a shaky handwriting,"Hello, welcome to the infirmary." Micah smiled at that one, and put it away with the rest. *I'll have to visit one day* he thought as he picked up a drawing of a dorm room. He picked up his backpack of paintings, his toolbox of pencils, and set off in search of the room.
FCC can't stop me!

Nicholas cursed as he felt the boy start to freeze. He wanted a captive, not an icicle. Nicholas stopped using his powers, and focused on sprinting through the forest, Stephen slung over his shoulder. After a few minutes, Nicholas reached the edge of the island. Steep cliffs plunged to the water far below. Using ice to build platforms, Nicholas slowly descended the cliffs. About midway down, he slipped into a narrow cave and destroyed the platforms behind him. From the top of the cliff, the cave was invisible. He had seen the cliff on his way in, and made it an impromptu hideout. Nicholas set Stephen down near a wall as he lit several candles, illuminating the small space. Taking a deep breath, Nicholas raised a hand and tried to force the ice out of Stephen. The ice escaped the boy's body through a fog pouring out of his nose and mouth, and Stephen began to thaw. He'd wake up soon.

Nicholas grabbed a backpack sitting on the other side of the cave, and removed a metal brace. It was slim but strong, designed to be comfortable. Several lights flickered on the outside of the shackle as he snapped it snugly onto Stephan's leg. I'm glad ISE had some of these, we don't want our little friend using his powers to escape, now do we?

With that, Nicholas sat against the opposite end of the cave from Stephen, and waited.

Patrick and Jesse finally arrived at the auditorium...and it was a mess.
Patrick stroded through the door and looked around at all the mess pursuing his lips thinking. He was still armed to the teeth from earlier. Jesse followed right behind him.
"Wow who opened the blizzard in the can?" Jesse remarked in his usual wise ass way
"I think that we missed a fight." Patrick replied.
"With who? Jack frost?" Jesse retorts marveling at all the ice around him.
"Maybe. At least someone with ice powers for sure. HEY ANYONE ALIVE?" Patrick calls out
"Or at least not a corpsicle." Mutters Jesse pulling a lighter out of his pocket.

I choose the second definition of it. This meaning rule by virtue and not owning land to be allowed to vote or hold political office. Instead one is required to serve time in the military (currently 6 years)

Alucard Helsing- Teacher

Alucard smiled on the inside at her thought back to him. The edge of his mouth curving into a small smile at her next physical words. She was his now. His alone. When she reached to take his sun-glasses off, he did not fight her. He never liked to take them off due to the fact it scared people most the time. His red eyes were odd and dangerous. But she did not seem to be scared. He looked at her, closing his eyes slightly as her fingers touched his face. It had been a long time since a female had touched his face gently, He missed it. He missed having someone to love. Someone to be his.

"Eliza... my dear.." He reached his hand up and took her hand that was on his face in his. He gently slid his fingers through hers with ease, knotting them together. He leaned over to her ear and whispered to her softly, his lips barely touching her ear, "will you be mine..." His voice soft, smooth as silk to her ears. He tightened his grip around her waist slightly, pulling her right up against him. He could feel her heart. Beating gently against his chest, her breath on his neck from where her mouth was. He wanted her to be his. To have forever.

He let the ice from Nicholas over take him and didn't bother to try to fight back. He lost thought of Tika, of Seras...of everyone. He and Ice had become one. He had feared this forever, and now that it has happened. He was now living with his worst nightmare. He had lost everyone he loved...again. In the ice tomb, his skin paled, his eyes became a pale ice blue. His lips, purple and blue. His heart... slowly... eventually... stopped...beating. Covered in ice. He remained still until he was going to be released. That was when the ice would go away. When Stephan stopped moving and had time to get rid of the Ice.

Stephan was in his mind, roaming, searching for an answer. His mind was cold, like ice. He walked through the cold halls. He then felt heat and watched as the ice melted away and out of his mind. He then felt a falling sensation. He was falling into something. Into nothingness. He landed and walked around. He could hear nothing, feel nothing. He was dead inside and outside. Until he heard a thump it sounded familiar to him. Another thump came. And soon it began a rhythm. He then felt like he was being pulled back up.

Stephan slowly opened his eyes to see Nicholas across from him, a brace on his leg and candles. He sat silently. His body felt weak and his mind felt the urge to fight back. But even as he tried to get electricity through him nothing worked. The brace.... He sighed softly and turned to look out the cave entrance.

You and Coilin are an incredibly cute couple, don't let me get in the way of you guys. Heh... a romance counselor. That's certainly an interesting idea. I mean, I can't guarantee my relationship tips would be all that great but I could at least give it a shot. And don't worry about me having fun, I think at this point you've realized I'm pretty much always having fun,"

"Well, not yet that's for sure. But soon hopefully. Hey, look over there!" Jen replies, running over to a nearby forest. She bends down and gestures for Unyan to take a look at the ground. On the snow there were footprints, rather large ones to be exact. It was like no print Jen had ever seen before, some sort of unknown creature seemed to have made them. They led through the trees and into the dark forest ahead of them...
Unyan blushed a little, she mumbles softly, ruminating in thought, "cute couple... me and Coilin are a cute... cute couple." She let the image softly hold in her mind, nestled up in many fond memories. He was hard to parse, but he was always fun. It was these brief moments that had such impact on her; having someone tell her they are a couple was enough to make her realize they were. It helped her feel the gravity of it, in a sense.

"Well it still doesn't feel fun to ignore you, and I am not going to ignore you!" she barged in Jen's space, making an odd pouty face and seeming to be blowing steam in a cutesy way. She wanted to stand down on not being one of those people who stops hanging out because they fall in love. Well this was a way to do it.

As they came to the footstep, Unyan knelt down to examine it. She grabbed a piece of snow from under it, messing with it in her hand. She smelled the snow, like a bloodhound. She couldn't really find much, but she knew they were close. "We are close!" she said in a low voice. She pulled out her greatsword and pointed it forth, "now may we recruit them through physical combat! The only way to show dominance is through martial combat! This island surely have worthy foes." She marched forth following the footprints, not even flinching at the dark and ominous forest.

"Yeah, you guys are pretty cute together. It can get a little bit too cuddly and soft for my tastes but I like it nonetheless. It's nice to know you want ignore me though, because I've had that happen to me quite a few times. It's pretty painful, to say the least" Jen replies, with a slight chuckle. She starts walking into the forest and quietly conjures up a small dagger, just in case anything went wrong "So, you want to go into the spooky forest huh? Well, I suppose with you by my side I won't be scared of anything."

Snow began falling as they entered the forest, with snowflakes landing in and quickly melting in Jen's hair. The two begin going through the forest, looking for anything interesting. Even Jen began to feel as little uneasy as the howling wind passed through the tall and rather dark looking trees. Still, without a single word of fright, they keep going deeper and deeper into the forest.

Suddenly Jen stops and motions for Unyan to be silent. Behind them was a faint noise, but an obvious one nonetheless. It was the sound of rumbling footprints, coming their way, and quickly too.
behold, a signature.

Pretty handy. Negates one's powers. I'm sorry about it, it's just a safety measure until I'm sure I can trust you." Can we trust anybody? He pulled out a water bottle and some granola bars from his backpack and tossed them to Stephen. "Eat. Using your powers like that burns loads of calories."

Nicholas sighed and sat down next to Stephen. "I'm sorry about what happened in the auditorium. I didn't mean for students to get seriously harmed, you're the victims here. I wanted to get the staff riled up before I take them down."

He looked at Stephen. "You don't know who I am, do you? I doubt it, they never talk about dead traitors. Let's just say, many years ago I tried to stand up to the criminals of the Shadow Council, and they exiled me."

He gazed wistfully at the mouth of the cave. "I'm sure in class they teach you all about how glorious the Shadow Council is, how perfect they are, how they saved the world from heroes and villains alike. I used to think that too. Until they made this school." Memories came to him of that day he learned of their plans to build academies. "Everyone went with the idea. 'To protect and train tomorrow's soldiers,' they said. Training tomorrow's loyal servants, I call it. By taking you in here, by protecting you and training you, all the Shadow Council is doing is creating a generation of supers who won't dare stand up to them." Evil, they are. Evil.

Nicholas stood up, the anger coming back to him. "Who are they to order us what to do? We are the most powerful creatures to ever exist, yet we kowtow to this faceless organization all because we were raised that way. Well I disagreed with this idea. I tried to stop them then, and failed. It's my biggest regret. I fear now it's too late. But I'm going to try and take them down anyways. If I can prove their precious schools aren't safe, they'll be forced by the super community to shut them down. Then we have a chance."

He looked back at Stephan. "Some students are too far gone. The Council points at me and says 'he's evil, kill him,' and they do. But you're different. I noticed that. You don't let your emotions get in the way, and you were fighting to protect your friends, not your school. I admire that." Hope. Hope. The boy is hope.

Savenna

In a place not altogether known to humankind, a woman is sitting. Under sand, undder water and finally under ice she sits breaths, and looks for answers in front of her, where no substance stands. She looks through the window in her mind and does not like what she sees; she stands, and feels the world reshape itself to suit her.

Prison cels got brighter to the inmates when Savenna entered the room. The sight of whatever your idea of the most beautiful member of your species imaginable was could do that to a person, and Savenna revelled in it. People were far less likely to be on guard when they are head-over-heels in love with the man or woman of their dreams, and when it was that person who was ever-so-nicely asking for the launch codes.
This cave became like that: somehow warmer, brighter, more pleasant. The 4 big bags of fast food that Savenna had acquired may also have helped.

"One," she said, sidling over to Nicholas. Though of course she could change it, Savenna had a strange voice, unfortunately. Words merged into one another, emphasis was placed in areas where no emphasis should be, and it did sound a little too disconcerting. "Your grand plan," she continued, "Captured...one solitary student. Who, I see," she looked at Stephan's leg with an audible sigh "You have not even won the trust of yet."
She turned properly to Stephan and put the bags down between him and Nicholas. "I am Savenna," she said softly, "Doubtless you have been told about me in your history lessons. It's all true."

Nicholas signed audibly as Savenna appeared. "Good afternoon, Savenna," he groaned. Clenching his fist, cold spread and froze the room once more. "Don't be critical. I got here an hour ago. I've already taken down the islands communications, power should go down soon as well." He looked at the woman. "There are two kids somewhere looking for you, better go find them. Or better yet, just go ahead and jump off the cliff." He made his displeasure to see her evident. "May I ask what you're doing here? Come to drag me back for another pointless battle?"

Stephan- Student

Stephan raised a brow at the man. He listened carefully and scoffed at the end. "Sir, people who trust their school more than the lives of fellow students or teachers has issues. I trust my friends and classmates, even the villains. I'd do anything to protect them. i'd give my life for them. I could careless about the school. I came here to be with people who understand bullying, getting made fun of. Of being the outcast. I'm here to support them and help them, the school is just a bonus for me." He stood up slowly and stretched. Bones cracked in his back, legs and arms. He sighed, relieved. He leaned against the wall, watching the man before him. "i still don't know your name.."

He then saw a woman walk into the cave. He just stared as the two interacted and when the room got cold he got cold to. "Sir... I cannot live in the cold when my powers are gone....please relax so i can live..." He started to shiver slightly. Having no powers sucked honestly. He'd rather have them than live without them. They were part of him. It was his personality, and having them taken away by a device just made him irritated.

He glared at her. "Listen, lady. I could care less of who you were before and what you are now. You have food, can I have a bag... I'm hungry even after the granola bar. I don't know about this trust thing or what plan he has, but that food looks good." He sat down, grabbed and bag and looked at the contents.
"The world is full of stupid people, get used to it."

"I'm not one of you," Nicholas said. "I don't care if the students see me. I want them to know I'm here. What can they do to stop me?" He walked to the other end of the cave. "Trust me, that girl wouldn't stop whining about her battery life. I gave them bait, I'm sure they'll take it. And if not, some jobs are best to do yourself." He nodded at Stephen. "I've got a feeling about this one. He's not the Council's pawn."
"And lastly, hear this, and remember it well. I am NOT one of you. I don't care for your little club either. I worked with you, yes, until you betrayed me. Forced me back to defend Ireland, and when your little war seemed lost, you threw me right back to the cold."

Hearing Stephen speak, he nodded. "That's very honorable of you. If you want to protect your friends, you'll be wise to join me. The Shadow Council is ruthless. Anyone they perceive as a threat to their power, they weed out. Even children. When I worked with them, I saw homes broken into and families destroyed because they were too powerful. I noticed many of your friends to be quite bold and powerful. Dangerous. It wouldn't be hard for a school activity to go awry, say... a climbing session where the wall accidentally breaks and they fall... and the Shadow Council has one less potential enemy."
His gaze softened, and he relaxed his powers. "Sorry about the cold," he said. He pulled out a worm, scratchy blanket from his pack and tossed it to Stephen. "This blankets seen more winters than you've been alive. It works."

Landing a hard punch, Felicia finally managed to defeat the Ice Soldier. Cuts and bruises were on her arms. Blinking, she noticed a student frozen in ice. Looking concerned, she tried to use her air powers to break the ice. After ten hits, it cracked. "Ah...? Are you okay...? I think you need some bandages..." Felicia took out a roll of white bandages.
