Welcome to Kep

Kep is a tundra type island-nation in The Western Islands bordered by Locuterris to the south, Kep is also close to Estingberg. To the north, west, and east, the North Medser Sea surround Kep. As Kep uses real-time, the current year is 2016 BCE since the dawn of civilization. Some primitive tribes will use a Norse calendar to determine the year. The current population is 19.9 million people, our government is a republic, here, everyone gets the chance to decide for our future.

Culture Some say Kep remains to be one of the strangest cultures within the region, the south maintains a modern atmosphere with many different religions and ethnic groups, the north is entirely hellbent on Norse-ism. Kep is far from developed as many refuse to embrace the modern ways, but, it is also far from primitive. 87% of Kep's population are devoted to Norse paganism/mythology, the government in some cases is classified as a theocracy, the remainder of the population is 7% Christian and 6% folk religions. A usual stereotype is referring to Kespian people as "ice-fishers" as many despise that considering it to be primitive and "stupid" in some cases. Sario, the capital located in the south has elements of a music scene featuring soul, jazz and EDM along with elements of heavy metal. The arts do not pose a big presence in Kep unless you enjoy seeing naked statues of great persons of Norse mythology.
Geography/Travel Kep is located on an island mass roughly the size of the US states of Florida and southern Georgia, it lay in the North Medser Sea. The land is divided into 8 'countries', known as 'cauldrons' for centuries. Some small islands lay scattered just off its coast, all with less than 300 people dwelling in them. Travel in between Kep is guaranteed by the Norse Sled, an highway system connecting the seven countries together. Airports and airlines are more than ready to handle the journey.
Football Canadian football is a yet untested sport showing much promise for the peoples of Kep. While gridiron football was never truly embraced, Kep sees to thoroughly enjoy the sport of Canadian football, a sport that has been played here for over forty years. Canadian football in Kep is played in high school and college, no official league stands to govern the sport.

Host Cities

Geltrbarg Stadium | Sario | Einn Country
Sario is the large sprawling capital of the nation of Kep, a glittering metropolis, a testament to the people of Kep. Here you will find museums housing the history of Kep, one of the multiverse's best music scenes and of course, sports enthusiasts. Here, the city is jewel of Kep, the sign of Kespian aspirations. The city is a small one by international standards, housing only 1.1 mln people, how ever, over the years, its population has exploded, previously two years ago, its population was 304.502. The city is made up entirely of Norse ethnicity while Norse mythology rules the land.
Assignment Opening Ceremonies, Group A, Finals
Accommodations Odin Intl. Airport (OIA), The Galleria at Parkingtno
Venue Geltrbarg Stadium | 47.800
Image

Geltrbarg is the true stadium of myths, the stadium people have for years hoped to attend. Geltrbarg was built in 1977 for the Kep Professional Canadian Football League's (KPFCL, 1969-1984) Sario Soldiers, a huge bastion where the Soldiers excelled, winning five Kep Bowls there in a seven year span. Since then, the stadium has been reformed into a national stadia of sorts. It will be charged with the Opening Ceremonies along with Group TBD and the Finals.
---
Pallister Pavillion | Sacula Flats | Einn Country
Sacula Flats is another sprawling city, also the largest in Kep of 6.2 mln people, and seventy miles away from Sario. Sacula Flats is perhaps one of the most modernized cities Kep has ever scene, it also has the first stadium with 24-hr. LED lighting and an LED-tv stretching outside the entire stadium. Sacula over the years has been known for its modern amenities, if you dislike the charms of Sario, then come to Sacula Flats, the city of excitement.
Assignment Quarter-finals Gm. 3,4, Semi-Finals Gm. 2
Accommodations Gateway Airport (GIA), The Galleria at Sacula
Venue Pallister Pavilion| 47.800
Image

Pallister Pavilion is a dual-purpose soccer and canadian football stadium built to house Sacula City of Starliga. A storied arena, Pallister is a step ahead of other stadiums. Expect a warm feeling to envelope you as you step into that stadium. Pallister is brand new and will host quarter-finals and a semi-finals game.

Information

Kep's going to be co-host and playing in this years revival of the Maple Leaf Bowl folks! Who's going to be the winner of this tourney? Will Kep emerge victorious, or will it be a battle that sees another nation take the crown? The Maple Leaf Bowl is due to feel much needed injection of life, more people are due to take part in this cup than in a long time for Canadian football. While the Maple Leaf Bowl is far from the excitement reached in the World Bowl, Kep hopes to ignite flavors that were once lost to all.
Kep's offense will come out explosive, that's a guarantee. They'll be quick to score, hustling down the field playing to out-pace. Will aerial bombs or running be the target of the team? Kep has some explosive firepower and range in the arm of quarterback Kim Pihlava who was the first call-up to the roster.
Kep will have some "big boys" in display for defense during the MLB V, players certainly capable of making a splash will be widely available.

Qasden IC Info :3

Postby Qasden » Mon Jul 18, 2016 8:23 pm

Overview

The Principality of Qasden is a relatively small-medium sized country based in Atlantian Oceania. The country's people usually spend their days either watching or playing sports, even if they have to create their own in the process. Ruled between PM Rees Häther and Prince Franz-Pierre, the nation will fully be open to foreigners participating in the fifth Maple Leaf Bowl, at least the hosting cities. The national languages of Qasden include similar dialects to English and French, while German, Spanish, and Navajo also have minor influences in the country.

Host Venues

Qasden, which will probably host the second half of the group stage (as I'm scorinating the first half), will be hosting a quarter of the competition in each of its two chosen venues.

T.V. City | Royal T.V. Stadium
Capacity: 85,750

Image

T.V. City, the coveted capital of Qasden, home to PM Häther and Prince Franz-Pierre, will play the role of Qasden's main venue in practically every tournament the principality has and will host. The RTS, built for Qasden's national soccer team as a gift from Franz-Pierre, proudly wears the title of "biggest stadium in Qasden" while also doing a great job providing for visiting fans. Shops and restaurants alike flourish around the rim of the stadium, with reasonable prices, too. For those who want to go the extra mile, VIP sections located on the field will provide each visitor their own servant for the match, as well as free food and drinks. This stadium is truly Qasden's finest.

Port Harston | Prince's Arena
Capacity: 65,000

Image

Located a little ways from T.V. City, Port Harston acts as the nation's main center of trade, through the port and through air. One of the unusually more sunny places in Qasden, PH will play as a more relaxed venue, with Prince's Arena allowing them to make the venue cut. The arena possesses a much more open atmosphere than that of RTS, and will soon function as the home of FC Harston United, a club to be founded in Qasden's second league. Qad-style restaurants, as well as Multiversal chains and gift shops, are located sporadically throughout the stadium, with security being lightly drizzled.

Transportation

The Principality of Qasden can be accessed by plane, train or boat, but for MLB V, national teams will be flown into Franz-Pierre International Airport (TVC) or Port Harston International Airport (PHR). For region mates of Qasden, boat and/or train transportation are available. When traveling between cities, delegations will be given the choice of traveling by charter bus or by train.

Weather

Most of the time, Qasden's weather can be a little unpredictable. Sometimes, it's sad and sunny, while other times it's nice and stormy. Safe to say this, dress for every occasion.

Lodging, Amenities and Food

Participants of the fifth Maple Leaf Bowl will be given rooms at four sponsoring hotels throughout T.V. City and Port Harston.

T.V. Verde is a 4-star hotel located in downtown T.V. City, just 10 miles away from RTS. Verde green and friendly atmosphere makes it a tourist favorite in lodging. Enjoy dining at TVV with 2 fine restaurants onsite, as well as a chain or two.

The Premiere is a 4.5 star mini-resort. Located just 15 miles from TVC and 10 miles from RTS, The Premiere provides a comfortable style with a dash of luxury. Dining, shopping, swimming, sleeping, all of that plus more can happen when you stay at Qasden's best not-insanely-expensive hotel.

Oasis Aparthotel is a 3.5 star dream for those wishing to get away from the city for a bit. Located about 20 miles west of Prince's Arena, The hotel provides comfortable rooms, a clean atmosphere, and the friendliest staff you can find. While not as luxurious as TVV, OA allows access to a fitness room, as well as a pool. This is definitely the place to go for relaxation.

The Deck Resort provides visitors with most of the usual things you'd find at a 4-star hotel. Fine dining, tennis courts, pools, comfortable rooms, all of that sturf! Just 17 miles from Port Harston's venue, the resort is truly a place to stay both relaxed and active.

Nightlife in Qasden isn't common, but clubs such as Jolt and Tru do make appearances around the cities. Sports bars do, however, appear more frequently than clubs, allowing people to watch the game and drink up to one beer an hour. T.V. City and Port Harston also provide exceptional restaurants for all tastes. Qad-Style pizza? We have it! Food from countless regions? We got that, too! Everything else? You name it! It's safe to say you won't go hungry during your stay in Qasden.

Maple Leaf Bowl V

Kep (Nearly) Adds A Shutout

- By Baldvin Þorkelsson

Kep is really, really, really, really, really, really good at Canadian football it seems. Like really good, because, quarterback Kim Pahliva threw three touchdowns before being pulled and his back-up, Tómas Njálsson low-key added three more to the tally. That was all before two interceptions and a couple of field goals to add to the tally. So, as said before, Kep is really, really, really, really, really, really good at Canadian football...
Offense was on point throughout the whole game, like really, hand-eye-coordination was on point. The offense never lost a beat, only four incomplete passes throughout the whole game. Running was minimal, however, tailback Lehtomäki racked up 110 rushing yard including a hella-long sixty yeard dash to the seven yard line.
I think the score speaks for itself, Kep was masterful throughout this game, never looking back the entire game. The defense grabbed eight sacks this game. EIGHT SACKS, a hella-big number. Stuff of legends, goals really. It also is credited with four interceptions and five forced fumbles all en route to rumbling to victory.
Kep faces off against Kaboomlandia next.

MLBV Quick Report- GS & QF

After 5 intensely intense battles in group B, the CanadiVans narrowly clinched a spot in the quarterfinals, after obtaining 4th place over Jarwel and Cheongji. Qasden, who will be hosting Group A's Quarterfinals, will pit Britonsea and Banija against Kep and Irian Barat, while the Kesp side of the playoffs will see our own Vans, as well as Namady, put to the test against Krisville and Levivania.

On match day 5, in Port Harston, TQ were ultimately slaughtered by Cheongji, who sat in last at the time. Somehow, the CanadiVans were saved by Namady, who took Qasden's 3rd place spot after defeating Jarwel, 33-23. Now, dusting off their kits, it's time for Qasden to get them dirty again when they re-encounter Krisville.

A relative nation of Namady, Krisville won Group B with an undefeated record, with one of those victories being against the Vans. Now, with the Vans training harder, it could go either way. Hopefully, an upset of Krisville will be in Qasden's favor.

Will the Vans be able to defeat the undefeated? Or will Krisville deny Qasden of that joy? Stay tuned for our quick report on the quarterfinals, ripening from Kep and Qasden.

Maple Leaf Bowl V

Kep In The Semis

- By Baldvin Þorkelsson

Kep continues its historic run in its first m-verse tourney, coming off a 12-point win over Britonesia yesterday before a sellout crowd in Qasden. Kep was lead by fullback Reijo Merikanto who ran for two touchdowns and racked up 279 yards on the ground. Merikanto complimented back-up quarterback Tómas Njálsson who came in in the second quarter following Kim Pihlava tearing his right ACL. Njálsson himself had a modest field day completing two touchdown passes while scrambling for another one. On defense, a rock-solid defense held against a strong Britonesian offense which scored 143 points in the group stages.
Kep continues to be an offensive force to be reckoned, it managed to pull off another victory with a weakened offense minus the dynamic Kim Pihlava who went out early in the second quarter after a hit from Britonesia's middle linebacker, tearing his ACL and rendering him unconscious. Enter Tómas Njálsson, an unknown from the tundra of Kep stunned, accumulating a total of three touchdown passes. Entering the semi-finals, he'll also be the starting QB for Kep. Running back Reijo Merikanto also performed well, he contributed a two touchdown performance along with solid yardage throughout the game. Also, let's give props to Örvar Valgeirsson, the walk-on receiver for Kep who racked up 360 yards against Britonesia, something rarely done.
On the defensive side of the ball, Kep struggled slightly, giving Britonesia an early lead before finding its stride. Early on, Kep gave up two touchdowns, down 14-0 early. However, Kep's defense found their stride, clawing back in the second quarter. In the final half, Kep successfully contained a prowling Britonesian attack, holding off and keeping a chance at the finals alive and clear. The defense did well I guess, but more needs to be done.
Kep faces Banija next.
