Academy of Heroes and Villains: Season Two (OOC,SEMI CLOSED)

Every civilization has heroes and villains. Possesing ablities far beyond imagination, they fight for the good of humanity or the destruction. Locked in an eternal battle across centuries of time, they exist in a balance for a hero is nothing without a villain and vice versa. However with such great power requires great training in order to prevent tragedy. This lesson was learned just over 35 years ago, when a clash between a group of heroes and villains led to a city turning into ash and hundreds of thousands dead. A group vowed to step in and ensure a tragedy like this never happened again, a covert group by the name "The Shadow Council."

They created a peace treaty with the Hero League and the Villain Syndicate, creating basic rules between them with severe consequences if broken. Of course, there were a few heroes and villains that ignored those rules but they were quickly shunned and banished from both organization However, possibly their greatest accomplishment was the formation of the Academy. Motivated by inexperienced heroes and villains wrecking havoc on the world, the mysterious leader of the Shadow Council "Voidmaster." decided to step in and remedy this issue. Located on a mysterious island, protected by Voidmaster's very own shields, the Academy does not seek to define what is good and evil, but simply teach students how to responsibly use their powers and become an efficient hero or villain. Squads around the world seek out potential candidates who are then sent to the Academy and sorted into hero or villain soon after they arrive.

The Academy is an extremely high tech and advanced facility, funded by not only the Hero League and the Villain Syndicate but also the near unlimited coffers of the Shadow Council. With this kind of cash the Academy has all sorts of equipment, technology, and weapons at their disposal. typically used during training missions and exercises. The school itself is centralized around one massive main building, with the separate hero and villain dorms being located around it. In addition, during the year there are many official competitions and events between the two factions to see which one is superior in feats of strength, wit and strategy. While competition can get quite heated at times, school rules prevent any kind of fighting, at least officially.

2. Please don't make your character overpowered, nobody likes a Mary/Gary Sue so at least try to give them some weaknesses. Some things that will absolutely not fly are invincibilty and immortality.
3. Before initating a fight with another student, you should have the consent of the other player, otherwise, it just doesn't work well.
4. Try and keep it PG-13 please. Use fade to blacks with extreme prejudice

  Bio: Pitch Black was born in the city of Manehatten on the Planet of Equestria, which lies at the other, outer edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. Never knowing who his parents were or what happened to them, he grew up at Manehatten Orphanage. Pitch started out as pretty lonely in his very early years, with his only friend being Bounty Hunt, who also lived at the Orphanage. As they got older, Pitch Black found himself more charismatic. So, the two colts formed a gang together with their peers and began picking on others for fun. Eventually, Bounty and Pitch Black's relationship took a romantic turn.
  
  During his school years, Pitch Black immediately showed a great talent in magic, in which he gained his cutie mark, and was transfered to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns at Equestria's capital city of Canterlot. The young colt thrived greatly in his studies and practices in magic, becoming one of the most gifted unicorn wizards of his era, especially for his age. However, he wanted more and gained an unquenchable thirst and lust for power. Out of pure curiosity and his desire for more power, Pitch Black, at the age of fourteen, began to study the darker, forbidden arts hoping to fulfil his magical potential and improve them to their zenith and beyond. However, he was, despite the already great power he possessed, too weak to withstand the seductive and highly corrupting effects of the dark arts and was driven mad, giving into his dangerously unsustainable desire for power. He became psychotic, cruel, self-centered and sadistic and began to see order and light as completely pointless, believing that darkness and chaos would consume everything in the end. Due to his lust for power and the desire to improve his skills, Pitch began kidnapping his fellow students and experimenting on them with crurses as he delved further in the dark arts.
  
  Despite all of this though, the young unicorn still loved his coltfriend, Bounty Hunt, just as much as he loved power. A year later, however, Pitch Black was caught by Bounty in his practices, experimenting on several students, some of whom he have killed. After a great duel, Pitch Black was captured by Bounty Hunt and turned over to the authorities. Pitch was then banished from Equestria forever for his crimes. However, Pitch Black, out of madness, anger and pains of what he called betrayal, swore revenge and placed a curse on his home world. One day, Pitch Black will return, and all of Equestria shall bow at his hooves, while being plunged into chaos and darkness in a 'Second Discordian Age'.
  
  Upon Pitch's arrival on the planet Earth, to which he has been banished, Pitch Black was discovered by the Villain Syndicate and upon seeing his power, as well as his lust for even more power, and his desire for revenge was sent to the Academy of Heros and Villians. There Pitch Black found himself at the perfect place to continue his studies and further practice his power in order to achieve his goal of returning to Equestria and conquering the world he once called home.
  
  Personality: Pitch Black is highly charismatic, very cheerful, highly witty, intelligent sassy, sarcastic, and pansexual as well as playfully flirtatious. However, due to being corrupted by black magic, he's also psychotic, amoral, sadistic, manipulative, lustful for power, narcissistic, treacherous, opportunistic and erratically mercurial, shifting between happiness and anger on a dime. He sees everyone as nothing but tools for gain.

A year later, Bounty caught Pitch Black in his evil practices, experimenting on his fellow students and with great regret and pain, found no choice but to stop him.

After a great and climatic duel, Bounty Hunt restrained Pitch Black and turned him in. He was utterly heartbroken when Pitch Black was declared banished from Equestria forever and even more so when Pitch made his curse. Out of regret, pitty and a fear of Pitch's vengeance becoming a reality, Bounty asked the Princesses of Equestria to allow him to be Pitch's warden in his exile and his wish was granted.

After arriving on Earth, Bounty eventually came into contact with the Hero Society, who saw his great talents and good-hearted soul. They told him of Pitch Black, who was found by the Villain Syndicate and sent to the AoHaV. In response, Bounty asked the Society to be sent to the academy himself. That way, he may keep watch on Pitch Black, so that he may never return to Equestria and enact his vengeance against ponykind.

Personality: Smooth-talking, polite, humorous, sarcastic, loyal, compassionate and intelligent. He has a laid back attitude. However, Bounty can be very harsh and serious when in a fight. Bounty also feels very guilty about what he considers to be mistakes in his life, especially involving Pitch Black. He's a homosexual

Weaknesses: Can be 'taken out' by conventional means (eg. being shot, stabbed, severely injured, etc) but can only be truly and permanently killed by light and holy magic attacks and weapons. Weak in holy places like churches and holy temples. Also vulnerable to holy water, which can burn her skin, and holy objects like crosses and rosaries.

Bio: Filia est Umbra was born part demon and part human to a wealthy family. The family was charge of one of the most deadilest crime syndicates in the States, having deep connections with the Villains Syndicate. Her father, from whom Filia inherented her powers and founder of the crime syndicate, was a demon named Domini de Umbra who came from the Shadow Realm and married a young irish woman named Joanna. Joanna unfortunately died giving birth to Filia est Umbra, which caused Domini de Umbra to have a huge resentment towards Filia and often cruel to her.

Filia grew up as a loner, seeing herself as completely different from her young peers due to not just her heritage, but also her diagnosed schizophrenia. However, she was kind and generous towards those around her, even though many weren't quite as kind and generous in return, if at all. Filia also saw herself as completely different from her family. She abhord the actions of her father and wanted nothing to do with the crime syndicate. This only increased her father's resentment, as well as her family's. This broken relationship in Filia's life drove her into a severe depression and even tried committing suicide with a gun to the head. However, this only placed her in a coma and Filia found out from her father that not only was she immortal, but also almost unkillable.

Unfortunately, wanting Filia to walk in his footsteps, wither she liked it or not, Domini de Umbra contacted the AoHaV and had Filia kidnapped and shipped to the Academy. There he hopes that she would be shaped into a proper villian and a future leader of his crime syndicate, wither she wants it or not. However, this would prove quite difficult for the teachers of the academy...

Personality: Suffering from clinical depression and schizophrenia, Filia est Umbra often has a very sad demeanor. However, she does try hard not to show her sadness, despite occasionally breaking into sobs every now and then. Filia has really terrible fits during her schizophrenic episodes for which she does take medicine. She is also sweethearted, kind and generous to those around her, expecting nothing in return. However, Filia can be a real bitch when severely angered. She hates evil, and wishes nothing more than to escape from her predicament of trying to be made into a villain and live a normal, or even heroic life.

Reasons for Joining: Against her will. Filia's father wishes her to be molded into a proper villain and a successor in leadership of the Shadow Realm and the American Crime Syndicate.

Additional Notes: Fears becoming like evil, like her father and hates hurting people. Can be extremely skittish at times, especially to loud noises. She loves helping people and doing arts & craft.

Personality: Suffering from clinical depression and schizophrenia, Filia est Umbra often has a very sad demeanor, speaking in a miserable tone of voice and breaking into sobs quite often. Filia has really terrible fits during her schizophrenic episodes for which she does take medicine. She is also sweethearted, kind and generous to those around her, expecting nothing in return. However, Filia can be a real bitch when severely angered. She hates evil and wishes nothing more than to escape from her predicament of trying to be made into a villain and live a normal, or even heroic life.

Reasons for Joining: Against her will. Filia's father wishes her to be molded into a proper villain and a successor in leadership of the Shadow Realm and the American Crime Syndicate.

Additional Notes: Fears becoming like evil, like her father. An exquisite artist.

180 cm tall, weighs about 65 kg, black irises, neatly trimmed hair of a dark hue, pale skin, slightly bagged eyes, and finally excellent posture. He wears a wide-brimmed black hat, when he can, with a large white feather sticking out of the top: it belonged to his grandfather, and Gabriel believes it looks rather slick. Additionally, he dons various dark colors of denim trousers, and frequently sports a slightly-too-large brown leather coat, with a shearling collar, and under that a sweater of a grey, tessellated pattern.

Dimension/Universe: The predominant one. I assume our own.

Birthplace and Nationality: Reykjavik. Ethnic German. National Icelandic.

Abilities: His sole abilities are absorption and discharge of energy, including heat, electricity, and anything from the electromagnetic spectrum. They may be absorbed and discharged via his skin, or any conductor of the respective energy, i.e. conductive metals for electricity. Additionally, when discharged, it is the raw form of the respective energy, i.e. electricity as an arc of lightning. However, due to being young and inexperienced, the absorbed energy, no matter the type, must be discharged in some manner within one hour, or he will faint from exertion and it will discharge itself. Thus, he is careful to dress in insulated attire, so as to prevent accidental absorption of, say, slightly warm air, static electricity from carpet, or sunlight.

Weaknesses: Overexertion is possible, and will result in fainting. Overabsorption is possible, and will result in death by explosion. Is not particularly durable, nor athletic.

Bio: Gabriel Koch is a young lad from Reykjavik, Iceland. He was raised by parents who, though frequently absent, instilled in him a love of learning, a respect for education, and a disdain for faith. He intends to complete his secondary education at the Academy, due to the onset of his powers, which manifested approximately three years ago in an incident involving the household toaster. He has yet to fully understand them, and wishes to learn how to best use them to proactively (less than legally, if necessary) use them to attain success and a more perfect world. Additionally, he has come to find a pool of powerful allies to learn from and eventually outgrow.

Personality: Relatively friendly, though distant.

Perhaps her powers only work when there's darkness nearby or something. Also, the immortality power is a bit iffy, unless you have a specific reason for giving her it.

She's part demon. Which will be explained in her bio. Filia can still be 'killed' by conventional means, just not permanently, unless used with a light infused weapon like I've said.

• Death Teddies: She can turn any object into a number of disturbing stuffed animals. She can then control those stuffed animals. Said stuffed animals are packing heat by the way. All with her baton.
• ignorance-is-bliss-ovision: Due to her childish personality and worldview, she is nearly impossible to get hit. She is ignorant to her environment in some cases, therefore is cosmically protected by her idiocy.
• Queen's crown: After whining at her parent's during her birthday, they opted to give her a large mech that is maintained and repaired in a large satellite in the sky, shaped like a crown. She calls the mech, "Tony," despite being an effeminate mech.
• Rich family: Well, she's rich.

• Comedic Effect: BY the powers of metagame, let it be known her incredible luck will be used for comedic effect. At most, it will stop and/or eliminate a lackey, but never finish off a major plot character.
• Tony: Tony is regenerated from within the Crown. Unfortunately, said regeneration is not instant. The more it is damaged, the longest it will be nonfunctional.

Bio:
Unyan was born to a family of eccentric billionares and royal family which manages a small principality three killometers from the Bermuda Triangle. Her family is known for being quite influential in trade and fish, though they have expanded to include a number of other fields of expertise. She skipped past the silver spoon and got a golden spoon instead. She had always had odd plans for much of her life, but she never sticked to one. Her most reason plan, World Domination, has lasted for a couple of months now, which is quite long all things considered.

Her siblings all amounted to some form of greatness. Her sister, Karot, works in the United Nations, treating and researching a number of serious diseases affecting many countries across the world. Her brother, Edgeplant, has made strides in business and banking, already amassing an enormous wealth and success manipulating the stocks. The eldest sister, Putati, is a law attorney known for entering some of the toughest cases in recent history. Lastly, her little brother, Rudybuga, is a world famous child detective. Unyan—on the other hand?—never knew what she wanted to be, but she had heavy burden to succeed and exceed the greatness of her siblings. She decided that the only thing better than all of those was to be the ruler of the world, or at least this time.

She has traveled far and wide to find a location to begin her plots for world domination. Of course, she still has a long way to go, beyond her simple klutzyness. All of this has led her to be looked down upon by her family. They often see her as a black sheep more than anything.

Personality:
Unyan is a mostly innocent girl, but she has very large delusions of grandeur. She is heavily burdened by the many amazing things her siblings have done, and feels she needs to find a way to top them in success, She is quite oblivious to how the world works, quite needy, and can be both stubborn when told no but can quit difficult challenges often. The only thing she hasn't quit so far is her plot for world domination. She is generally kind-hearted and loves to mess with people, along with not willing to leave anyone behind. She is a newbie to love.
