A Response to Most-Involved Parties in this Incident

It is certainly a warm development that the Ardokian government has finally revealed some of the truths behind Aquila ASA-725, and has proven that GARNET's observations on the satellite to be correct. However, as with most things, we believe that the Ardokian President is only speaking in half-truths about the real intentions of Aquila ASA-725. Mr. Moriarty says that his satellite was intended to conduct espionage operations against New Yama and New Yama alone; this we do not accept. The Ministry of Defense will be releasing the reports on its investigation of Aquila ASA-725's wreckage. At this point within the investigation, the Ministry of Defense surmises that Aquila ASA-725 was spying on both New Yama and the Federal Union of Guadalupador. The insistence by the Ardokian government toward the Federal Union that what GARNET had shot down was a mere weather satellite is an indicator that they are clearly still hiding the true intentions behind Aquila ASA-725. I echo the sentiments behind Hatayan President Golofad's statement that the Ardokian Government will never be a respected member of the international community so long as Alistair Moriarty and his oppressive policies still run rampant through Ardoki and Aanglandia.

To the Aestorian Government, I say this: We hold the sentiments behind the free movement of civilian and commercial spacecraft, and we do put such policies in mind, and into practice. The insistence that we need to open ourselves to foreign infiltration, and possible attack from LE, however is unacceptable and your offer of looking toward your country toward defense of our orbital claim has to be declined since we have a system put in place already: GARNET. Aquila ASA-725's It is foolish to assume that one shootdown of an Ardokian military espionage satellite is an attack on Aestorian interests. I have to reiterate this once again: GARNET is a system of deterrence. Ideally, it isn't meant to be used at all, unless such foolish men like Moriarty decide to impede on Guadalupadorian territory. We don't want to shoot down satellites, we've never wanted to. Your words intended to shock and terrify, to us, isn't a sound negotiation tactic for any sort of country, let alone an ally within the International Freedom Coalition. We will certainly be open to negotiating a settlement between all parties within New Orleans within the next two weeks.

After Action Report on Aquila ASA-725 Shootdown

At 0200 Hours local time on the First of August This Year, the Federal Union of Guadalupador's Satellite Defense Command at Divouga Steppe Tracking Facility detected through Ground RADAR and EM Arrays what was perceived at the time as an Unidentified Orbiting Object (UOO) heading north-eastward over the South Suseshi Sea, over the New Yaman Susemyaqu Islands toward the Guadalupadorian Mainland. Divouga Steppe SATCOM ordered an extensive check of current orbiting satellites, and recent satellite launches. After finding no evidence of a satellite launch announcement, nor any message from any government or private corporation to claim the UOO as it would pass over the Federal Union, GARNET was put on alert and GARNET Six-Two was prepped for a possible satellite interception. After spending several minutes on a course passing over the Seitrian Coastline, the object altered its course to fly directly over the west coast of the New Yaman mainland before once again altering its course crossing into Dorian Orbital Claims at 0325 Hours. The UOO, then identified by SATCOM as an Ardokian Intelligence Satellite Designation: Aquila ASA-725 through a stream of continuous intercepted signals, and EM activities that didn't match any present activities or signals from civilian/commercial satellites. By 0330 Hours, the GARNET Orbital Array attains visual confirmations of Aquila ASA-725, and begins actively monitoring it. At this point, Aquila ASA-725 redirected its present course out toward the Dorian Corridor, expelling a large amount of fuel in the process, to redirect into a northern path over the Corridor. By 0345 Hours, GARNET Six-Two was dispatched from its base in Bansua to intercept the rogue spacecraft over the Dorian Corridor. As Aquila ASA-725 finished adjusting its course northward, GARNET Six-Two began its supersonic zoom climb up through the atmosphere toward Aquila ASA-725 attaining a missile lock, and firing at 0400 Hours and 25 seconds. The ASM-135 fired by GARNET Six-Two scored a direct hit on Aquila ASA-725's port-side, causing the satellite to be propelled into a downward spin westward, nearing the island of Malusqaya (Maluskaya.) SATCOM and the GARNET Orbital Array lost visual and EW contact with Aquila ASA-725 at 0405 Hours, five minutes after impact.

Conclusion
The Guadalupadorian Ministry of Defense and GARNET found it fit to engage Aquila ASA-725 after recognizing its possible hostile intent as it crossed over the Federal Union. Aquila ASA-725 was on a course that was deemed endangering to the assets of the Federal Union after it crossed over from New Yama over Dorian territory. The Ardokian Government didn't inform the Dorian Government of Aquila ASA-725's intent, or launch and it had initially denied that Aquila ASA-725's military implications. The Guadalupadorian Government indeed finds it right to defend its assets. If the Ardokian government informed the Federal Union of Aquila ASA-725s intent, and/or adjusted its course completely eastward, over New Yama, there would have been no satellite interception, or international incident.

After GARNET's report on the shootdown was publically released, many people gathered in the streets to protest the Ardokian government, and in particular, Alistair Moriarty. It was seen by many that Ardoki was threatening to Guadalupador, and that Moriarty's policies were killing millions within his own country. Now, usually, an anti-Ardoki protest wasn't rare at all, given Moriarty's antics. The shootdown just intensified the demonstrations, as citizens banded together and packed themselves into parks to yell at the media about Ardoki's violation of Guadalupadorian security, especially in such an uncertain time.
Within the National Assembly, with the Grand Premier off at the DMZ with Arata Kasuga. The vote was given to send the Vice Premier David Sisho to New Orleans to assess the situation, and possibly rebuke the Ardokian government's talking points. The Conference on the Mississippi River was to occur within the next few days, Sisho prepared himself, for not only the Ardokians, but the multitude of delegates and opinions that would be thrown around.

For starters the entire incident took international significance after yet another incident involving Ardoki - this time with Dorian government downing their unregistered spy satellite. To begin with, I kind of have to disagree with way it was done in - satellite jamming has been practiced by the Imperial Nihonese Army for years, with newest Ta-Ku-2500 electronic warfare complex being fully capable of doing so on range of over 500km. I would say that since the satellite likely involved some imagining gear, dazzling it with laser could have also been good idea - especially if it has been able to burn the camera. The empire of Greater Nihon disagrees with the method, but fully believes that Guadalupador - a nation we are not on best terms with - has full right of self defense and it is in fact fault of Ardokian government that the satellite was shot down - it should have informed the Dorians of it's plans.

Shiba Yuki: What is the issue of Ausitorian presence in this affair?

Murakami Akira: Ausitorians openly proclaimed that they will defend Ardoki, Asigna and few other totalitarian dictatorships - showing their real double face and throwing away beautiful ideas of "freedom" they claim to be adhering to. The very fact that they proclaimed that they will be defending Asigna - a county that recently conducted mass killings in Romiran, whose leader openly used Nazi symbology and called for genocide of the Chinese - or Ardoki, where millions of people perished in concentration camps or were forced to take part in mandatory sex change as part of "tolerance therapy" - proves that Ausitoria is no friend of freedom, only a lying imposter. By the way, I highly disagree that Ausitoria has been a "free" state from the beginning - even at their official page there is written that "It has been said by critics that the nation has all the aspects of a police state: compulsory ID cards, considerable border surveillance, spying networks, vehicle tracking, group infiltration, mandatory blood tests, and extensive CCTV networks." Indeed, this is the vision of all the lackeys of Ardoki and their colleagues - an ultraliberal police state where life of every citizen is closely monitored, and denial of basic human rights is covered by "human rights" of certain minorities. In other words, it is a system of dividing society into "worse" and "better' on any basis - something we do not have in Nihon. Yes - Ausitoria is not a free state. This makes them weak.

Ausitorian economy follows path of Mussolini ( a "third way" - policy of unity of corporations and government being one) when Nihon destroys social welfare, redistribution of wealth and socialism. Free trade treaty is about to be signed with the Golden Throne (Fedor - Tenno heika proven himself amazing man). In fact, it is untrue that Nihonese do not profit from globalization. On the contrary - we do a lot. Ausitorian culture is based on satisfying wishes of self - while our culture is based on community service. See, costs of production in Nihon are lower, our workforce is highly educated, and above all - we will work better. Why? Take a look at "Protestant Work Ethic" by Max Webber. Asian work ethic is very similar, and we combine those two. In short - we work better than they do. We are flooding other counties with high quality goods. They? We work and provide best specialists. Anyways, so apparently my little suéra picked up a stalker. So she's in college, and this dork follows her into class one day with a bouquet of flowers and starts singing a love song in front of the whole class and professor - how desperate is this loony kid? Man my sister was embarrassed!
But speaking of pathetically desperate and outright embarrassing, check out this recent attempt by the Ausitorian régime to try and pretend they are still relevant:

These knuckleheads felt so butthurt by the fact that nobody seems to give a shit what Ausitoria has to say in this dispute between Guadalupador and Ardoquí that they had to go and - get this - write yet another arrogant declaration of their intent. Apparently everyone else is supposed to care about their little "balance of power" policy, or even know what the fuck they are talking about, since it seems they have already done such a shitty job at doing so considering they haven't once stopped SACTO from achieving anything ever. But don't pay attention to the facts my friends, respect their authoritah!

"Use any means the commonwealth thinks suitable". Basically they are saying if you do [vague things] they will retaliate back with [vague options]. Is this really the best their leadership can come up with? It's basically pointing out obvious international relations 101!

As you are undoubtedly aware, the Aestorian & International Commonwealth has currently adopted the unusual and controversial position of defending Ardoki in international affairs in the hopes of allowing enough time for peaceable resolutions to the various questions Ardoki is associated with.

However, further to previous unofficial correspondence, I have been asked to officially state that the Aestorian & International government remains (a) generally unsatisfied with recent affairs in Aanglandia, which we wish the IFC to have full freedom to investigate, and (b) unsatisfied by Ardoki's current lack of support for signing the Musrum Universal Declaration of Rights, which would incidentally also (i) peaceably resolve the question of space navigation in our mutual favour in the future, (ii) establish Ardoki as a free socialist society in the eyes of the IFC, and (iii) open the path to IFC membership should Ardoki desire it.

The result of these two policy decisions of your government can be seen by the Aestorian Commonwealth's unwillingness and inability to protect Ardoki from dangerous public sentiment held within certain members in the International Freedom Coalition, including to some extent the Aestorian Commonwealth itself. As evidence, we refer, of course, to the proposed Resolutions 19 and 20 - it is virtually certain that unless Ardoki makes changes to its government policy, at least some members of the IFC may wish to prosecute a war against Ardoki, and they may succeed in getting Council support. Even though the IFC Council is now almost certain to pass the Musrum Universal Declaration, which resolves the question of space navigation, we all know that this incident was never really about that subject.

Therefore I am writing, as Prime Minister and Secretary General of the IFC, to let you know that Ardoki can no longer prevaricate on either issue and expect to maintain international support in the IFC Council.

I am also writing as Foreign Secretary of the Aestorian Commonwealth to let you know that Ardoki can no longer prevaricate on either issue and expect to maintain Aestorian support. (To reduce the administrative burden, Aestorian foreign policy is, of course, the same as that of the IFC).

The choice is yours. I do hope you will choose the path of peace and international respectability, as opposed to war and all the idiocy that accompanies it.

The following letter is written with the purpose and cause of establishing our intent in regards to the current situation over Ardoki. Following a very quick series of both political debates and military command room discussions, and several polls gauging the support of the Inyurstan people we have reached the following two stances on the Ardoki situation.

First, is that La Républiqua D'Inyursta will partake in the blockade issued by the Grand Coalition, and if provoked or our attempts for non-violent justice are not met our commanders participating in this blockade will be given the liberty of engaging and capturing or destroying any vessel serving to support the Ardokian regime, be they militarial, commercial/industrial or any third party who would move in defense of such a regime.

Secondly, is a proposed resolution to the status of 60 Ardokian P.O.W.'s currently imprisoned in Inyursta after their surrender following active collusion and participation in the Jezzine Massacre, which left hundreds of Lebanese civilians dead as a result. Considering the nature of enlisted and low-ranking officers in the military, we are willing to pardon them for their participation in War Crimes and Crimes Against Humanity and return these men to Ardoki if and only if the government of Ardoki hands over the following high-level criminals for trial and sentencing in Inyursta.
We will accept at least 20 individuals on the following list, including but not limited to:

- Alastair Killian Moriarty
- Riona O'Brien
- Silvester Jakeman
- Raghnall Sloane
- Any general, marshal, admiral or equivalent guilty in the plotting and carrying out of the Aanglandian Invasion.
- Any officer or high level NCO guilty of massacres in Aanglandia
- Any officer responsible for plotting the Invasion of Lebanon
- Ship captain responsible for the Shootdown of Lebanese Airliner
- Program director or equivalent of the so-called "Tolerance Camps"
- Managers, on-site directors or equivalent involved with running the "Tolerance Camps"
- Program director or equivalent of Ardoki's illegal and inhumane scientific experimentation against human subjects (mainly political prisoners)
Managers, on-site directors, head scientists or equivalent involved with running the inhumane scientific experimentation facilities
- Camp directors, captains of the guard and any involved bureaucrat associated with the running and operation of the facilities used in the genocide and mass rape of between 250,000 - 5,000,000 individuals of Chilean heritage or nationality

This is our last attempt at non-violent negotiation, and needless to say we risk incontrollable dissent and social outrage at home if we continue these futile efforts with a régime hated by so many. That having been said we do hope for your nations sake that you find some way to come to these terms...
