"I must have heard you wrong, because I heard no advice in that. Only insults. I apologize that my father had a mental illness and was unable to teach me to become whatever it is that you consider a man. But I do what I can. I offered to let your forces enter my nation to help us, but you did not. For someone who speaks of the horrors of war, you seem to have no wish to stop another one. True to their word Angela and Markus made their way to the hospital where Katherine was recovering. They were informed that she regained consciousness in the morning and recovering nicely. Making their way through the city they found Benezandria to be quite beautiful, and yet a lingering aura of dread permeated the city. When they arroved they were led inside before stopping outside her room, when it suddenly opened.
"So you must be the Monarchs from Jahe," said the man who just left from Katherine's room, "greeting. My name is Jon Darkwill, President of Keomora.

Ivan sat at the roundtable with a look of disappointment. Preparing for a war he didn't want, analyzing data his country had no business knowing. Surrounded by the three most important defense officials besides himself in the country, the only condition of the meeting was they had to leave with some sort of plan for the conflict.

The past few days had been very humbling. From learning that information had been withheld from him in the interest of security, to having his call for peace answered with the sound of gunfire, he'd found out just how small he was. But what was really causing his disappointment, what was the true source, was how lucrative his country had become. But he knew he had a meeting to conduct, a plan to draft, and so he began the grueling process to war.

"Gentleman, I believe we all know why we are here, and that is to prepare for war. Whether we like this or not, we have to leave this meeting with a plan. Would anyone like to speak of their ideas?" said Ivan.

"I'm thinking our key to victory in this thing is naval dominance," said Jonathon Richardson to the surprise of everyone in the room. Chief Defense Adviser of the Army, Jonathon had never been one to willingly give glory to another branch of the armed forces.

"The fact your willing to say that speaks to the sheer importance of it," said Jacob Douglas. Anxious about how key his branch would be to the Eutristinian military effort, the Cheif Defense Adviser of the Navy was intimidated by the harrowing task at hand.

"We all know the only place where we have any realistic chance of digging in is the north of Jahe. The problem with that is it is also the only other place for a lot of other nations to dig in also. So what does that mean? It means we have to get there quick, and when we do, we have to hold our ground," Ivan proposed.

"What about us pilots? I believe a good bombing campaign could be instrumental to success. What do you say to taking out the RNS Caereon, eh Jacob?" said Caroline Beck, Cheif Defense Adviser of the Air Force. One of the highest ranking women officials in the country, Beck's interest in flight and love of her country had lead her to where she was.

"That's a given. Carriers make for great power projection. So from what I'm seeing we either get control of the north coast or we fail miserably. Is that the general consensus?" questioned Ivan to the nods of those at the table.

"Let us begin drafting. War waits for no one. The hours of war await release, and even I have no way to stop them," Ivan said. With the that they turned to their laptops, and began typing their thoughts into words.

Emperor Pondes was in his personal residence, as he had made the palace the shelter for the homeless. This served two purposes, one being that it would make the public love him, the second being that he would not have to stay in the former house of the traitors.

As he was playing it, a man slowly walked into the room. He let him finish, because one should never interrupt the Emperor when he played his piano...

When he finished, the man gained the courage to speak up.

"You majesty, it is the time that you have set up to call King Willliam James of Eutristan. Would you like your phone?"

"Yes, many thanks."

The man rushed to grab his phone and give it to him. Pondes had found a book of phone numbers, including William's. Other numbers would come into use later...

"Well, here we go" Pondes mumbled as he dialed the number. He was relieved to see someone pick it up.

"Hello, This is Emperor Piet Pondes of Jahe Davmwoem calling. It is a great honor to finally speak to one of our worlds great conservative leaders."

Debra, the King's secretary, picked up the phone. Before she could speak, the person on the other line began to introduce themselves.

"Hello, this is Emperor Piet Pondes of Jahe Davmwoem calling. It is a great honor to finally speak to one of the world's greatest conservative leaders."

"I'm sorry, this is the King's secretary, would you like to be put through to the King?" said Debra, to which Piet quickly responded yes.

Debra walked into the King's personal study where he was slumped over in his desk sleeping. She patted his back, and his eyes began to flutter. She quietly said, "Mr. James, the Emperor of Jahe wants you."

"I'm very sorry, I couldn't fall asleep last night. Now which Emperor wants me?"

"He goes by Piet Pondes your majesty."

Williams eyes widened. "I definitely was not expecting this. Here, put him through to me." Debra walked back to her desk, pressed the button, and within an instant the line had been transferred to the phone on the King's desk.

"Hello Emperor Pondes. Why have you called me on this day?"

"Greetings King James. I call you because I for one wanted the honor of speaking to one of our worlds great conservative leaders. Next, I wish to state our wish for a continued friendship between our nations. The regime may have changed, Jahe Davmwoem may be heading towards a better future, but your friendship was a bright light in the darkness, a brilliant move by a brilliant emperor, Albert, which has been ruined by the childish Markus. I also hope that you were not startled by my coronation speech. You are not a target of the... change, I spoke of."

[Eutristan]

"I would have hoped as such. Piet, I hope you do your people well. I guess we should talk of our current... situation. Would you be okay if Eutristinian armed forces were to show up and help defend your country? We are more than willing to send them right now at your request. You are a very cunning man Piet, I believe you would have realized by now war is inevitable. What do you say we dig in before these liberals know what hit them?"

"Yes, I would like that very much. In fact I will give you full military access, and the right to use our naval academy island as a base for the fleet you send. I know war is coming. I wish it were otherwise, but alas, it is the only way the leftist block will realize our sovereignty. I hope you realize the amount of trust this means I am giving you?"

"Of course my dear friend. We will not forget your wisdom. Would you like us to begin moving our forces immediately? Also, as a token of our gratitude, I'd be more than happy to send over the best of our special forces to protect you from any possible threats. They could help secure your residence."

"Only a few, if they can be spared. I wish the greater importance to be placed on securing the cities. Who knows what a battalion of Keomoran soldiers could do to a city of historical importance?"

"I see. Moving along, I believe we should always prepare for the worst. Should we lose this war, a terrible tragedy for your country, you should know they will come for your head. In the case of this, would you like for the special forces to escort you to escape to Eutristan. It'd be a life exiled from your country, but we must realize consequences."

[Jahe Davmwoem]

"I appreciate that offer, but no. Unlike the coward Markus, I will stay. I was born in Jahe Davmwoem, and will die in it. Only way I would accept is if it were clearly for the best. That is of course impossible to tell until the chance of that were to happen."

[Eutristan]

"That is fine, and a very honorable decision at that. Well Emperor Pondes, thank you for your time. I'm very glad we've had this chance to talk. Goodbye, and I wish you and your country the best in all ventures."

"Katherine is doing great. Woke up last night. Just as a warning she watched your speech and she's very pissed. Good day," with that he was off.
"By the way do not judge a book by its cover," Jon called put as he was walking away, "Not every President is Lev Betznitzy or whatever your country called him."
