Honestly, this is nothing more than a thread generalizing about leftists on this forum without any backing evidence. I could just as easily state "all rightists on this forum have poor grammar and love Sarah Palin" and my assertion would be equally valid. One last thing, I don't like Michael Moore being equated with Glenn Beck. Moore at least truly believes in the ideas he puts forth, even if he fudges with the data and is somewhat misleading in his movies, Glenn Beck is nothing more than an opportunist who spouts right wing propoganda in an attempt to elevate himself to godlike status (and make a pretty penny in the process). One thing I notice a lot on NS is that in the political section you will find many leftists commenting,
In fact it seems they are in the majority of NS debaters. One thing I notice is that they always seems to feel like any opinion other than theirs is ignorant or wrong, and often cut people off from debating any further.
This is not to say other Ideologies are perfect, oh no do not get me wrong on that, there are plenty of Anarcho Capitalists, Right wing Bible Readers, and Authoritarians who are arrogant and cut people off, but it to me just seems that leftists are the worst offenders.

Both sides express arrogance in differing ways. I think some of what comes off as arrogance those is that when people make very poor arguments that are so silly you wonder if they even believe them or they are just trolling you.

For instance Parth pointed out the NM uses "word play" to make arguments. Word play can be fun but Obumist, Commist, Hitler, Dark Leader, evil Kenyan" etc. does not consists of word play. It consists of not so veiled conspiracy theories and inadequate knowledge of term that are designed to make people angry. NM used to try and make arguments. Now he just throws out as much red meat as he can to stir the pot. You can call it whatever you want I just call it being a dick. It's not an argument and all that is being made. It's appealing to the lowest reaction you can expect to her. This is just one example I make because Parth (BR) brought it up.

Conversely Conservative Alliance, Vetalia, and others make terrific arguments that people may not agree with but you can discuss. That's the difference. I will never be brought to shout down or name call such posters because they post with respect and they get it in return. Do we all remember that golden rule thing folks?

Perhaps if people could express their ideas better on the right without just repeating what their favorite talking head said it would be better. Some do and they are great to debate with.

Also, 2 arguments are not always equal. Some arguments do not deserve respect. Blasted and disproved conspiracy theories (Birthers, 9/11 truthers) and other silly nonsense.
