Across the Stars: Civil War (FT, Character, OOC, OPEN)

Unknown to Humanity, the Galaxy did not belong to them, but another similar species, the Tagali. For thousands of years the Tagali spread across the Galaxy, ruling with a strong but fair hand. In 2067, they discovered us as well, helping us spread across the stars and teaching us we were one of many in the galaxy. Humanity came into the Galaxy during a time of peace. One that would last for a thousand more years until the Locusts descended on the Galaxy.

The Locusts, an insectoid swarm, arrived in the Milky Way, first attacking the outer edges of the Galaxy and devouring their way into the galactic interior. Whole planets were wiped clear of life as they infested planets and ate the inhabitants. To combat the threat, the Galactic Congress voted to give emergency powers to the Federation Military, suspending the civilian government. While the move was unpopular, it was collectively agreed upon that it was for the best to stop galactic wide extinction. After a long and bloody war, the Locusts were exterminated and the Galaxy began to heal and rebuild. It was a slow process, but the Galaxy began to return to normal, but the Military held on to power, stating it was to ensure Galactic peace.

As the Military didn't relinquish control as the years went by, opposition to their rule grew more and more. As the protests and petitions went unheard and the Riots became more and more violently pacified, a revolution was brewing. A group named the Galactic Revolutionary Front grew in the shadows, gaining more and more support as the Galactic population lost faith in the Military Government. In the year 3120, the Galactic Revolutionary Front made their move, one by one, entire nations and species violenty rose up against the Federation. While the Federation responded with Fleets and Maritial Law, they could not stop the sheer number of systems revolting. Within a month, large swaths of the Galactic North were in full GRF control. Now that they had a base for their Revolution, they set their sights on the rest of the Federation.

The Civil War had begun, and had split the Galaxy in half. While the GRF had gained a significant following, many systems and species felt that the Military Government was just or that at least they should work within the system to bring change. The Conflict unearthed many rivalries and strife between species. Humans were no different, with the Earth and other "Terran" systems supporting the Military Government while the Humans of the Traxus System and other far off human worlds supported the GRF Rebels, becoming a major suppliers of ships, Mecha, and weapons to the rebels.

The Civil War raged throughout the Galaxy for 50 years, hitting it's highest point when it reached Earth. The Battle was one of the bloodiest in the war, leading to the death of billions and even the destruction of the moon. Raining down chunks of debris onto the planet, causing untold chaos across the planet. In the End, Both sides were horrified by what they had done, calls for cease fire rang out across both sides as news of the battle spread across the Galaxy.

At first, both sides were committed to bringing the conflict to an end, but it was not to be. Both sides could not come to a compromise and the cease fire was broken on multiple occasions. While both sides agreed to stop major offensives for the time being, minor skirmishes occurred. The Cease Fire continued for the next 50 years, many more factions began to appear, some disillusioned by the leaders of the both the GRF and the Military and their failure to bring the war to a close. Others more radical or ideas of their own on what course the Galaxy should go. On top of this, Piracy has risen in the Galaxy once again, once a minor nuisance now a major threat to what's left of Galactic stability. It seems as if the Galaxy will be in turmoil for a long time.

There is hope, however. The New Leaders of both sides have agreed to meet for peace talks. A spark of light in a dark Galaxy. With the hopes of all across the Galaxy, will they bring about a much needed peace, or will they resume the war anew, molding the Galaxy in their image?

Tagali Federation Military Government

Lead by the Military Council, a group of Generals and Admirals in charge of maintaining order in what territory the Federation still maintains. The Military Government sees itself as the only way to maintain peace and order throughout the Galaxy, seeing restricting civil liberties of the people as a necessary evil they must commit for the greater good.

Image
Galactic Revolutionary Front
Inspired by the stories of their Grandparents, the GRF is dedicated to the return of the peace and prosperity of the old Federation, the Men, Women, and individuals of other genders of the GRF won't rest until they have achieved their goal of freeing the Galaxy from what they see as the Oppressive grip of the Military Government.

Image
Pirates
Once the stuff of legends and tales told to children as they fell asleep. Pirate Gangs have come back with a vengeance, striking at ill prepared worlds and unknowing cargo ships. As Pirates seize territory that the major factions cannot spare troops for, whispers of a unified pirate force have spread throughout the Galaxy, spreading dread through the hearts and minds of many.

RULES!
1. No ships over 100Km. Keep anything really large in small number.
2. No Godmodding/meta-gaming
3. No arguing with OP and CO-OPs. Our word is law
4. No constant arguing in the OOC. Take that to the Telegram.
5. No one-liners. Keep posts at 1-2 paragraphs minimum. Dialogue is the exception but please try to beef them up.
6.Keep Space battles reasonably contained. No thousand ship battles unless given permission and no planet or star destroying.

WIP. Still need to modify for this Rp.

Tagali: Humanoid, Similar to humans, skin tone is various shades of blue, slightly taller than the average human, superb agility and speed, able to reach speeds of 20 mph, light colored hair, eyes that are capable of night vision, Omnivores, Primarily consume Meat. Founding Species of the Federation.

Taani: Second of the Original member Species of the Federation. The Taani are the diplomatic backbone of the Federation due to their more peaceful nature. Despite this, some Taani join the ranks of the Federation Military, or various pirate and PMC groups throughout the Galaxy

Maug-Lai: While the Taani are the beautiful pacifists of the Federation, the Maug-Lai are the total opposite. Thousands of years before contact with the Federation, the Maug-Lai were becoming a rising powed in the Galaxy. Their climb to power was only stopped by Solar Flares in their home system disabling technology and sending the Maug-Lai back to their tribal origins. Thousands of years later, the war that followed first contact reintroduced them to their lost glory, making them a fighting force to be reckoned with.

While they may seem barbaric savages to outsiders, their culture is steeped in honor and tradition. More than what could be said for their bood thirst Rivals, the Golta.

Valonians: One of the two species native to the Planet Matchakia. The Valonians inhabit city states under the massive mega ocean of their planet. Unlike the Dalga that inhabit the Desert Pangaea, the Valonians were advanced, even eclipsing the Federation's own research in a variety of areas. They are now the backbone of the Federation's Scientific community.

Dalga: One of the two species native to the Planet Matchakia. The Dalga were originally nomadic traders, with very few cities besides trading hubs that dotted the desert Pangaea. When First Contact happened with the Federation, they were just a medieval society, trading and fighting amongst themselves. Now, their a major player in Galactic economics.
Yongmee: The Yongmee are a quasi-hivemind species, with Queens recalling and taking control of their broods with psionics and pheromones when necessary. Many Yongmee find work within the Federation as engineers, construction workers, and mechanics. Communication is somewhat limited as they rely on chirping, wing flapping, and antennae motions. To communicate with other species, they require translators that are rudimentary at best.

Apri: Originally from the world Akresh. The Apri were exiled off of their world after a war with the Shanji. The Apri spread amongst the neighboring systems. The Apri entered a Dark Age, as their new agricultural worlds fell under constant pirate attacks they were powerless to fend off. When the Federation came into the picture, the Apri were thankful for the stability and safety that their fleets and armies created. Soon, the Apri systems became the bread basket of the Federation and beyond.

Shanji: The Shanji are a plant based sentient lifeforms. While humanoid in appearance, they are nothing like many of the other species in the galaxy. They have the ability to "plant" themselves, allowing them to spread across and create more. They compete with the Apri as the food producers of the Federation.

Golta: The Golta are little more than giant apes that somehow developed firearms and crude spacecraft for raiding nearby spacecraft. While effective in combat, their blatant disregard for the lives of anyone besides their troop members has made them a liability in many engagements and has lead to them being led in segregated regiments and only in the worst of situations.

Scra'Shn: The Scra'Shn are unique in the Federation, as their worlds under the Federation are independent enclaves not native to the Federation. During Peacetime, many Scra'Shn take up piracy, leading them to be looked at with suspicion by the other races. In times of war, the Federation will often hire Scra'Shn Privateers, reducing piracy in their territory while the navy is away while unleashing them on their enemies.

Khyrsians: First of the Confederacy. Elfish humanoids. Political
masterminds; master manipulators. Sexual/Cloning.

Vaurians: . Reptilian-insectoids. Warlike, extremely proficient at military. Sexual.

Ariva:. Elfish humanoid all-female shapeshifters. Master spies/infiltrators; great seductresses. Often commended for their beauty. Semi-asexual.

Verga: Cybernetic/Semi-Silicon based Insectoids. Somewhat synthetic. Extremely high intelligence, logic processing and great strategist capabilities; extremely advanced in technology. Cloning-only; nongender.

Thorian: Reptilians. Extremely honorbound and pride-driven. Loyal to no end; will fight and die for their Comrades before betrayal/secession. Egg-Laying/Nesting.

Korvash: Korvash: a physically imposing and brutish race, to say the least, there are few of them left now. Once they occupied an entire system, with each planet housing a different variation of the species, but they all had similarities, now they are reduced to being bodyguards and mercenaries, some are even pirates, from the proud warriors they once were. While they are Naturally strong and have an above average regeneration rate, it was the high occurrence of psionic in the species that gave them their notoriety. The entire race was not full of strong psionics, but there were many of them. This played heavily into their traditional hierarchy, it also allowed them to communicate with most verbal races easily. Many favor physical weapons, as they handle them better.

Nuryathi are a race of piscivorous insect-analogues native to caves on the highly desertified world of Jamux. They are very adapted to these caves, having little skin pigmentation, weak vision, and long, flexible bodies capable of navigating thin crevasses and steep walls. They also have an adaptation against the inevitable Malthusian disasters that occur due to their rapid breeding rate and limited living space - When Nuryathi are forced to interact with each other heavily, indicative of dangerously high population density, they develop stronger muscles, higher adrenaline levels and enormous appetites, and inevitably kill off a large chunk of their population, with some of the survivors leaving the caves to find new homes elsewhere, simultaneously spreading the species and keeping its population in check. When the Federation arrived on Jamux, the Nuryathi were on the cusp of the Chalcolithic, and when during their uplifting they were placed in urbanized cities, they were unable to explain to the Federation why crowded environments were not a good idea. The resulting bloodbath, exacerbated by enraged and hyperstrong Nuryathi stealing Federation ships, wiped out most of their population, a blow that the Nuryathi have never really recovered from. Now, the Nuryathi are seen as the very lowest of Federation society - Violent thugs that lack even the codes of honour or proud military tradition that the other conflict-inclined races of the galaxy possess. Not helping this is their extremely low population, and a habit of disillusioned Nuryathi deciding to embrace the stereotype to get back at a galaxy that already looks down on them.

The Mogh'keigh, my own people.

We are a tall and slender species, with a body structure similar to humans. We are long-lived by human standards living for thousands of years unless dying from accident or disease. Our cardiac and neurological systems are much more advanced compared to humans, which allow heightened reactions and agility. To us, most species move in slow motion with a degree of awkwardness while to others we move at a distracting grace and can be blindingly fast in close combat. We have two genders, male and female. My people are naturally psionic, allowing almost all of us to have atleast sigma class psionic abilities. However a major disadvantage is that their superior mental capacities causes them to be more emotional than most species, forcing them to exercise constant mental restraint to prevent a mental breakdown.

But our abilities made us outcasts in our home galaxy. We hail not from the one I reside in but elsewhere. We were feared for our prowess and in return my people were slaughtered in droves. No where was safe. No matter how many of them we killed, thousands more would rise up. Hunters would gleam in delight after a successful 'hunt'. Our bones dangling around their necks and our spirit-stones sold like jewelry. To my knowledge, we are pretty much extinct at this point because of their fear. It takes 50 years for a child to be born. It would take thousands of lifetimes for us to return to our numbers. But even in this galaxy, we are still hunted.

Gubru: Most of the species are white feathered and neuter. But, there is like a high council that will, upon a major issue/decision, will give special hormones to a triad, which will cause them to start developing a sex. Over time, during the course of this incident, whichever of the three's policies are the most successful will decide the sex of each of the birds. In a triad, there is one female, and two males, the female being a deep red and the males blue and green. Many of the Gubrus are highly aggressive and fanatic.

J-01: comes from a race of robotic workers created by a long gone civilization. There is not much known about this "Precursor" species but what is known is that these robotic workers were experimental in nature. Something happened to the species before the robots could be completed and so only a few were left on a desolate research station. For thousands of years the station was maintained by an A.I. who tinkered with the few robots that were there, but once the A.I could turn them on, it made them mine for minerals and expand the base while treating it as a god. The A.I also named them, the Yovgon Which could translated to the Energy Ones. Eventually the mineral mines ran dry on the station so the Yovgon built ships and expanded. But the A.I couldn't be transferred so it gave certain robots intelligence and commanded them to bring minerals to the station. After years of expansion the Yovgon were discovered by Tagali. They took the Yovgon that they discovered and gave them complete independence from the A.I. Some that were liberated treated the Tagali as saviors, others as devils who stole the unity. Either way some Yovgon led the Tagali to the station that held the A.I. Then with the help of a coalition of peoples the Tagali coalition liberated the station with minimal losses. Then the swarms came, and although the Yovgon suffered minimal losses they were part of those oppressed by the Tagali Federation's brutality. Eventually rebellions started over those who wanted a unified robotic species and freedom from the Tagali. These rebellious Yovgon were either destroyed or reprogrammed. While the Yovgon are a peaceful species normally, they can be reprogrammed as robotic fighters.

The Bisteu: The Bisteu are a Aggressive, tradition bound species emerging from the planet Dusmion, a Mountainous planet with the rich vegetation. For hundreds of years the Bisteu where scattered tribes who fought against the environment and each other, first with sticks and stones, then with bronze weaponry and crude Armour. As the population grew so did the complexity of their society which moved from simple tribal settlements to city states and eventually full fledged kingdoms. Technology wise they reached a point where they had technology similar to the Middle Ages of earth, but then they hit a wall. for over 2,000 years they remained in a Perpetual middle ages which was also an era of constant war mainly due to there use of the feudal system and there inert aggression , if it wasn't for there toughness and rapid reproduction they would of killed themselves off centuries ago. During this period the first psyonics emerged in their species and was met with, extreme violence since it was declared that they where servants of the dark one and where using witch craft, the ones that survived the slaughter fled to the highest mountains in the planet even though the Inquisition would uproot them every once in a while. Eventually they where discovered, but not by the federation but by a race of powerful psyonics, the Eboi. The Eboi where seeking a a source of soldiers for their army since at a distance the eboi where formidable fighters mainly using their abilities and psyonic weaponry to bombard there enemies but in close quarters they where usually decimated. So in a move they would later regret they made contact with the Bisteu and named one of their kings, Draxx the mountain rider the first High King of a United Dusmion. They served the Eboi empire for 50 years until one day the Bisteu reached the point where they grew just as powerful as their eboi lieges, the eboi attempted to lessen the population by causing a civil war between the feudal lords of the high king, but the plot was discovers and the Bisteu demanding blood for blood revolted against the eboi empire and began the renewed slaughter of psyonics with increased zeal. Within 40 years the Eboi empire, in fact the whole species was in its death throws with there planets being occupied and the people being slaughtered in unimaginable numbers, when it looked like the Bisteu was to achieve there final victory the Federation Discovered the two species and intervened in the last minute to prevent a full scale extinction of the Eboi. Both Species where granted admittance into the federation, Mainly to keep the pace between the Bisteu and the Eboi, Currently the Bisteu are considered one of the federations best warriors proving themselves during the locusts invasions and the early years of the civil war. But bad blood is brewing between the Bisteu and the Weaken Eboi, Now called the eboi free state, The bisteu want to finally cleanse the eboi while the eboi want to reclaim the planets lost to the savages, either way with the lack of federation intervention there will be war if nothing is done.

The Eboi: The Eboi are an ancient species originating from the planet Aslorix. They are a frail species physically but mentally they are some of the most powerful psyonics in the known Galaxy. How there power emerged is unknown but by the time humanity was in its industrial revolution the eboi where already a space fairing empire. Their empire however would be undone by uplifting a certain species for use as warriors, the Bisteu. In a attempt to curb there poulation they attempted to spark a civil war but failed a brought the wrath of the Bisteu upon them. Despite a hard fight the eboi where nearly pushed to extinction. But the interference of the federation saved the race but not there empire since the treaty gave most of the planets to the Bisteu. The ebonI free state is the current government and is abegrudgingly a member of the federation. Due to the civil war conflict between the Bisteu and the eboI is inevitable but this time the Eboi is ready

Extraordinary abilities that manifest themselves either physically or mentally. Some species are born with it, while others gain Psionic abilities through genetic modification. Either way, not all Psionic Users are created equal.

Omega Class (Ω): Bottom of the food chain. Maybe telepathic or telekinetic, and that's it. No specialized capabilities.
Sigma Class (Σ): Sigma-class Psionics are a bit stronger than Omega class, and are a bit more specialized in either mind-related properties [telepathy and strictly mindbased powers], or physical-related properties [telekinesis-based and strictly physical powers].
Omicron Class (Ο): Omicron-class Psionics are considerably stronger than both of the previous classes. They have generally defined Psionic-based powers at this point; either strictly mind-based, or physical-based with little variation. For mind-based powers, mind control of up to three weakminded people is possible. Pyrokinesis/Cryokinesis now possible with physical-based powers.
Theta Class (Θ): Theta-class Psionics are near the top of the food chain. Mind-control is easy for them; technokinesis and other physical abilities are capable. They often get headaches, however, if they use too much of their power. They can even cause brain damage unlike previous classes from overloading themselves, because at this point they actually can attempt to do things out of their league, which can be of a health risk.
Delta Class (Δ): Delta-class Psionics are the third best around. They are some of the rarer of the breed, coming in only at most one thousand for every one million Psionics out there. They can essentially act as a hive-mind when around Psionics or non-Psionics alike; literally ignoring mind barriers and controlling multiple bodies at once with ease. As for physical-capabilities, they are unmatched by previous classes. However, stressing their abilities or trying to control too many bodies at once will cause extreme brain damage, and if the subject is not careful, can even cause braindeath; the people the subject is controlling are unharmed.
Beta Class (β): Beta-class Psionics are the second best around. Extremely rare, coming in only the hundreds for every ten million Psionics (if you even have that many). They can easily manipulate the minds and act as a hivemind for thousands. Their physical capabilities, if a physical Psionic, can take down buildings with relative ease. Over-stressing abilities can cause braindeath within hours.
Alpha Class (A): Alpha-class Psionics are the strongest of the strong. Never outmatched. They are the rarest of all; only one or two appear out of an entire species' population, and that's if they're psionically-enabled naturally. Alpha-classes can easily take control of an entire city with their mind, without thinking on it. Or use their physical capabilities if they are strictly-physical to destroy an entire city. Instant braindeath occurs the moment they try to bite off more than they can chew in most cases, with almost no exceptions.

My race and the rough info about the GRF craft and soldiers are below.

It wasnt just the high occurence of Psionics that made them a force to be reckoned with. It was how the race used their abilities, while some did make them selves even more physically strong then they were to start with, others chose to go a different route. They used their power to increase the heat or electrical fields that they naturally produce. More powerful psionics among them could scorch a city to ashes, or fry it, destroying all technology.

(more to be added, I only got this far, before you recruited me for the military stuff.)

(Pics to be added)
Ships: As the GRf unlike the military controlled Federation, is made up of several non unified races, the ships do not conform to a single type. However due to the fact taht the ships and the like are supplied mostly by terrans they possess terran names for the classes, usually.
Capital Ship: While not the grunt thy are much of the backbone of the GRF’s fleet, they are powerful and massive as well as being a great symbol of the GRF. The most notable of these ships is the Personal flagship of de facto leader of the GRF( not the actual leader, but is the most renowned)
Kelrazza class Capital ship: the most advanced ship, by far at the GRF's disposal, it is named after a once powerful, but now extinct empire.
Juggernaut-Class Capital ship: While much stranger shaped than the other classes of Capital ship, they are more heavily armed and armored than nearly any other thing in the fleet.
Aidda'me-Capital ship While less advanced than the Kelrazza, and less armed than the Juggernaut, this class of Capital ship is the most versatile and commonly seen capital ship.
Neutron Class Battlecruiser:
Justice Class Dreadnought: This class was what inspired the Juggernaut class Capital ship, and it is much the same in terms of weapon and armor ratio to size.
Freedom-Class Carrier: Carries many interceptors and dropships. They are mainly used for support and large scale invasions that include planetary acquisition.
Liberator-Class Cruiser:
Dove class-Light Corvette: They are smaller, but provide support for the interceptors and fighters in smaller skirmishes.
Diplomacy-Class: The diplomacy class is mostly stripped of armor and weapons, but possess advanced engins and defensive abilities. It is used for diplomatic missions, most notably the peace talks between the GRF and the federation.
Mandate Class-Heavy Corvette:
Damocles Class-Light Frigate: It was originally modified from the Cargo ship class of the same name, as some shipmaker say the apparent potential in the ships design.
Heavy Frigate: More heavily armored adn armed than the light frigate, but are slower. They usually have a few Oriole class craft that accompany them.
Oliphant-Class Dropship:
Enforcer Class destroyer: This class and type of ship precedes the Damocles class frigate. But because the design is useful and versatil it is still in use. They serve as comapions to the Oriole class, packing the heavier payloads and armor to act as a shield to allow the smaller ships to deploy en mass.
Oriole-Class Interceptor: There are many versions of this ship, that fit many roles, some are bombers others are fighters. They are smaller and faster than nearly any other class of ship, but they are very, very good at what they do.

Vehicles:
Flying Vehicles:
RF-32 Gunship: Generally armed with anti-personnel and anti-armor payloads. It acts as a support gunship for assaults and to provide cover and distractions. Some variants have drones of sorts for scouting and marking targets.
RF-45 transport: lightly(relatively, although it has more than a few guns they are light) armed and relatively fast, The purpose of this is to transport ground troops and vehicle, the Orbital drop ships are responsible for the mechs and transporting the vehicles and soldiers to the base from orbit. These handle ground transport.
Ground vehicles: there are very few true ground vehicles in the GRF’s arsenal.

Speeders: long range efficient small vehicles that are rarely used and only in area’s with dense cover, that the hover variant’s cant get to as well as to prevent the premature destruction of these vehicles. Usually two vehicles per squad. They were first developed before proper hover vehicles were made.

Hovercraft: These are mostly for short distance ground transports or artillery support, as well as the support of ground troop in perilous terrain.

RF-86-89 Hover tank series: There are multiple variants of the RF-86-89 snake series hover tank, some are geared specifically for anti-air or anti-personnel capabilities. The Python is anti-personnel with some anti-air defensive capabilitiy. The Black Snake (87) Hovertank is purely anti-air requiring aditionall support for defense against ground units if in the field. The King Snake (88) is made purely for defensive bombardments and for taking out other similar craft. The Carpenter (89) Hovertank, is made for destructive bombardment, and is larger than its other counterparts. Occassionally soldiers will ride on top of these when the terrain is unsuitable for the various transports.

RF-27 OPV(Omni purpose vehicles): most of these look like the Elephant transport, as they are what they originated from. They are smaller vehicles that can be used to set up a temporary defensive perimeter in the form of semi portable turrets and similar structres. Most of the internal space is filled with the mechanics and the lie used to change the form of the vehicle into the structure it will become. These were originally created to provide the GRF with a better chance at setting up bases in areas they had taken on planets and have evolved since then.

RF-93 Elephant transport: These are relatively small, but are quick, armored and armed enough to allow the few Platoons they can carry to leave and enter the fray relatively safely.

Soldiers: There are three types of main soldiers in the GRF.

Foot soldiers: the typical foot soldier which has a variety of weapons asd the like, depending upon where they are fighting. Some have heavier armor and weapons, but their armaments are mostly dependent upon the situation. Some are equipped with exoskeletons to help in combat though they are few.

Power armored soldier: (name can be changed) Usually they are elite or experienced soldiers, the suits are capable of short range jumps, using a compressed air system, that is refilled over time by compressing the air around them. They are much smaller than the Mech’s, and are usually not much bigger than the average size of whatever species is wearing it. They increase the capabilities of the person wearing them, some versions can be enhanced by being worn by a Psionic. They usually use normal weapons, in conjunction with the suit, but some have specialized weapons that provide good cohesion with the Power armor. Some higher ups in the GRF have a prototype of power armor which while the tests have been promising, is still in the testing phase. This has not stopped some from procuring them.

Mech’s: The final type of soldier used by the GRF is almost a vehicle itself. They are mechanized suits that pack more firepower and armor than most vehicles and squads of foot soldiers. They are called Prometheus suits, after an old Terran legend. They are mostly humanoid and have been adapted from the mech’s used by the federation, though they have created their own over the years, to distance themselves from the Federation. There are two main types the Apollo class, which was smaller and more versatile and the Korvash class, like the name suggests it takes influences from the race, being large and bulky, but are usually heavily armed and armored. There are variations of each class of mech of course. While the Larger Mech is mainly used for ground conflicts it can and has been adapted for space and atmospheric battles, though the Apollo is more versatile in that aspect. (The space and atmospheric versions are more streamlined and covered obviously.)

NS Name: The Greater Gambia

Character Name: Admiral Fatima Maqsoud "The Wolf of the Fenris Cluster"
Species: Human
Age: 33
Appearance: Fatima

Faction: Federation Military Government

Bio:
Born on Vers, a Urban world who's population are firm supporters of the Military Government of the Federation. At an early age, it was already foreseen that she would have a promising career in the Military as she was top of her Military Training Classes throughout her education, but her teachers had worries about her hyper-competitive and aggressive nature. At the age of 16, she enrolled in the Federation Pilot Academy in the Osiris Nebula, where she quickly learned how to fly every thing from large cargo ships, to nimble Fighters and Battle Suits. She graduated with high marks and was sent into the Federal Navy where she became a formidable Ace.

But being another Fighter Pilot was not where she wanted to stop. She looked forward towards gaining the rank of Admiral, possibly even a seat on the Military Council. Fatima quickly rose through the ranks, first gaining command of a Frigate, then a Cruiser in charge of a Frigate Flotilla, to now as the Admiral of the 4th Perseus Arm Fleet.

Fatima gained notoriety throughout the Federation, when Fatima's 4th Fleet was ordered to put down the rebellion of the Maug-Lai Warlord, Jazal of the Kanam Tribe in the Fenris Cluster. The 4th Fleet was heavily outnumbered and outgunned, through Fatimas superior but cold and blood thirsty tactics, they were able to win with very few rebels surviving the day. With the Maug-Lai defeated in Space, the systems in the Fenris Cluster were left at her mercy. Maritial law was in place over the systems in the Cluster. Anyone who disobeyed was shot on the spot, and as "punishment" Fatima ordered the bombardment of several high population Cities throughout the system, making her a War Criminal in the eyes of the GRF.

The Skirmish in the Fenris Cluster earned her the nickname "The Wolf of Fenris". While the Higher Ups disapprove of her methods, the Fenris Cluster and other areas she has been deployed to have ceased rebel activity in fear of her coming back. She has become the attack dog of Military Council, being sent into High Priority areas to "pacify" them. Enemy fleets break formation and flee at the sight of the 4th Fleet's banner on their hulls. However, they know that her actions make her a liability to public support. After her recent "trip" to the Wanshin Systems, she has been pulled away from anti-insurgent operations and placed in charged of hunting down the traitor Adrian Maxson.

Personality: Cunning, blood thirsty, sadistic

Strengths: She will do anything to win.
Weaknesses: Stubborn and unwilling to give up even when the odds are against her, she is willing to sacrifice her own men to accomplish the mission. Civilians are of little concern to her.

NS Name: Mirahold

Character Name: Evangelion
Species: Human
Age: Unknown
Appearance: Caucasian, burns and scars occur all over his skin from unknown incident, prefers to shield himself from another's eye.

Faction: PIRATE

Bio: Evangelion and his ship, The S.S Revelations (Santara-class interceptor), are prominent in the underground world. The first mention of Evangelion was in a daily log about a captured Pirate ship, the Kerosene Band-Aid. In the report, Evangelion is cited as a recruit who went AWOL. Official documents record a transaction envolving a Codename: "Monarch", an unknown outlaw who sold the ship's plans for raiding. It is unconfirmed but highly believed this "Monarch" was an early alias. The only confirmed lead on Evangelion is a ship's CCTV cameras, capturing the scarred scavenger on film. Stir among the Underworld is Evangelion is searching for a crew to hunt a bounty, but most prefer to avoid the shadowy figure's employment.

Personality: Brutal Pirate who knows how to use a combination of fear and trust to meet any of his needs or wants, whatever they may be.

Strengths: Agile, Observant, Natural Leader, Strategic Genius
Weaknesses: Tense skin, inefficient battle tactician.

My race:

NS Name: The Orson Empire

Character Name: Jesse Arkenson
Species: Human
Age: 67
Appearance:
Image

Faction: Tagali Military Government

Bio: Jesse Arkenson was born in London, on the human homeworld of Earth, though his family emigrated off-world shortly after his birth. Jesse was born into a military family that had served the Tagali Federation for generations. Jesse's ancestors fought the Locusts during their invasion of the galaxy. Jesse's father served in the Tagali Navy as an admiral and fought the Galactic Revolutionary Front during the Civil War; additionally, he served in the military government that had been set up over the Federation in order to combat the locusts.

At age 18, Jesse followed in his family's footsteps and enrolled in the Tagali Navy. After graduating from the academy, he was assigned to a Belka-class Cruiser and fought in minor skirmishes with pirate forces (which once again plagued the galaxy and threatened galactic stability) and the Revolutionary Front. He worked his way up through the Navy and is now the admiral of the 5th Fleet, while also participating in the Tagali Military Government.

Like his colleagues, Jesse believes that the military junta is a necessary evil in order to maintain law and order throughout the galaxy. Strict loyalty to the Tagali government was also passed down through his family, and Jesse believes that the Revolutionary Front only serves to destroy the stability that the junta has established. While the leaders of both sides will soon meet for a peace talk, Jesse has already begun preparing his fleet for combat, as he knows there can never be peace between both sides. Either the rebellion will be crushed, or the rebels will overthrow the junta.

Personality: Jesse is is a pragmatist, using practical and sensible means in his day-to-day judgement. In combat however, he can be quite aggressive and even arrogant (as he considers the rebels to be inferior to the Federation).

Strengths: Pragmatist, skilled tactician
Weaknesses: Arrogance

NS Name: The NAR

Character Name: Adrian Kenneth Maxson

Species: Human

Age: 27

Appearance: https://i.ytimg.com/vi/sXI44_YVzuY/maxresdefault.jpg]Here we are

Faction: Galactic Revolutionary Front (loosely)

Bio:

Adrian Maxson was born in Chicago, on the Human homeworld of Earth on August 20th, 3193. His father, Lawrence Maxson, came from a long line of military men that stretched back to the days when Locusts still terrorized the galaxy. The Maxson name can even be traced to the military of an old nation known as the United States of America that long before the Federation arrived, served as a Human superpower. Lawrence Maxson was a very respected, very accomplished Admiral in the Federation Navy who served exceptionally during the Battle of Earth that cause immense levels of death and destruction onto the planet. He led fleets, but was renowned for serving on the Front lines on the planet's surface. When offered a new home elsewhere, however, his father would refuse, and stay on Earth. As a child, Adrian would ask why, to which his father would answer "This is our home. We fought for it, and countless men died for it. I'll be damned if we leave it behind after all we went through". Adrian was raised to be a soldier - to serve the Federation, and after he turned 18 and married his sweetheart Alyssa, he enlisted with the Federation Marines.

He graduated boot camp as one of the most well-performing of them all - an amazing sniper and tactician. Much of Federation Military Command wanted him put immediately into advanced classes, but his father refused to do so. He wished to see his son become a warrior through combat, not through simulations. Adrian was placed in a unit under command of Admiral Fatima Maqsoud, where he distinguished himself during fierce combat with the GRF in the Fenris Cluster, on the planet of Fenris IV. After he and the other Marines in his division landed on it's surface, they were met with a fierce counter-attack that drove the Marines into retreat. In a scrambled retreat off-planet, Adrian was wounded and left behind - grabbing the sniper rifle off a dead comrade and holding off two battalions of enemy soldiers for two days and inflict more than 300 casualties while remaining undetected until the very end, when he was rescued by reinforcements who were sent back onto the planet when Admiral Fatima Maqsoud won the battle in space. Adrian was awarded the Federation's most prestigious military medal, sent home on leave where his wife would become pregnant, and six months later, was re-deployed with the Federation Marines' "Op-Six", a Special Operations Unit. He served in Op-Six for five years, gaining a total of 721 confirmed kills, when in mid-3218, he was part of a massive slaughter of more than 300 civilians on a small outer-rim colony.

It was the straw that broke the camel's back. He always had his doubts with the Federation and the current regime in charge, but bit his tongue through it all. Murdering innocent women and children, however, shattered his loyalty. Two weeks after the event, he snapped - brutally killing his commanding officer and escaping on a Federation fighter. He was chased by the Federation for weeks - almost killed by them, but escaped to Pirate territory where he joined with a group led by a The Mogh'keigh named Hieron. He was with the pirate group for many months, and while he was very quiet, he pulled his weight and most members respected him. However, after a large raid on a banking ship, Adrian made off with half of all Hieron's savings. He used this money to buy his own ship, along with weapons, armor, and other supplies. He named his ship the Ulysses, and it became both his home and best friend. Shortly after, he snuck his way back to Earth in pursuit of his family, only to learn that Federation agents had raided his home and taken his family, leaving only his German-Shepard whose name was Wyatt.

Adrian narrowly avoided being captured on Earth, and escaped with his dog back into space. He would travel to the territory under control of the Galactic Revolutionary Front, where he explained who he was. They threatened to kill him, but he offered them a deal: he would support them and their cause fully, if they helped him find his family. The GRF accepted this deal. For the past few months, Adrian has scoured the Galaxy carrying out the GRF's orders while also trying to find all clues he can about his family's whereabouts. Though, with the Federation on his tail and Hieron likely also out for blood, he does not know if he'll ever be able to see his family again.

Personality: Independent but kind, charismatic, not quick to trust anyone

Strengths: Amazing soldier and tactician, sniper and "lone wolf". Also a very good pilot.

Weaknesses: Virtually useless when using heavy weapons, no psionic abilities

Theme: Fantastic series, I highly recommend it

Don't consider this a promise I will app, don't always app in threads I tag. Well, that's a lie...
Anyways, I like FT, so yeah.
One nitpick: The Jakala battlecruiser and the Todval capital ship have the same length, but one is listed in km and the others meters...
I just get bugged by this sort of thing.

I would post my race:

Trax:The Trax are a race of insectoid that's native to the terrestrial planet of Traxium.Traxium is a tropical world and because of that condition it cause the Trax to evolve into a strong species. They also use organic technology, thus their technology is made from organic stuff such as plants and sometimes animal. The Trax lived in hive shaped city that's interconnected and located across the planet. The Trax has an appearence like that of humanoid Praying Mantis.Their height is slightly taller than the Human. Also their claw have ability to cut through any plant. Also the Trax has a functional wing and thus they can fly. When the Federation ship arrived at Traxium, they consider the Trax as an aggressive species because of their intimidating appearence, despite of that the Trax is actually a peaceful species, they would only fight back if they are attacked. When they meeted with the Federation, the Federation were intimidated by the appearence of the Trax, but they were impressed by the Trax organic technology. When the Federation ship leave they brought some Trax as well as their technology for the purpose of introducing the Trax as well as researching their technology, respectively. Now the Trax become one of the galaxy famous species. The Trax that lived outside of their homeworld usually founds work as labor force and some of them manage to get work as scientist or military personnel.
