- NAS & SAS = North Asentamiento and South Asentamiento (SAS is given to any cars sold to/owned by foreigners that are registered in Asentamiento)
- 3 digit number & 3 letters = 6-character town code
- 5 digit number = Year of the make of the vehicle + 3 digit ID
- 3 letters = Maker of vehicle

1. What is the license plate format? For a normal vehicle, L-NNNN...-LL
2. What is the colour scheme and font? A normal vehicle is either black on white or white on black. Yellow on black is also seen rarely, as well as other colour combinations often based on local tradition.
3. What do individual characters mean? The first L is the type of vehicle, be it a motorcar, a carriage, a waggon, a lorry &c. The remaining numerals are issued numerically. The last two letters are the county code where the vehicle was registered.
4. Does a car have one plate for its life or does it get reregistered? A vehicle has its plate for life unless it is changed by the owner or the Board of Roads.
5. What can be found out from a plate number? The type of vehicle, and county it was registered in. In the records, the appearance of the vehicle, age, make, model, capacity, tax number, owner and his address are also listed.
6. License plate sizes. 4¼" high, and as wide as needed. The longest number place issued has been nearly three feet long.

3. What do individual characters mean? The first four digits are an alphanumeric code (the numbers 0-9, the letters A-Z without I, Q, S and U to avoid confusion with other characters) to mark the individual car, the next digit is an alphanumeric digit that marks the year (it resets every 32 years, for example, 2855 is X, and 2887 will also be X, but it won't matter because most of the cars registered in 2855 will be replaced by then), the last two are a number code for the province where the vehicle was registered. The year and province markers are placed at the end of the registration plate so that the important identiftying marker (the number for the specific car) can be read quickly (as the year and province marker are less important - for example, if one is in the Province of Tælstine takes down the registration number 4FJP and knows that the car was a red hatchback, this knowledge is enough to find the full plate of the car, since cars registered in different years are likely to not be red hatchbacks)

1. What is the license plate format? LLX-XXXXX (L = letter, X = alphanumeric).
2. What is the color scheme and font? White plate, black font (FE-Schrift, the German one). There is a coloured box on the left that signifies the type of plate (Military and emergency use their own Sub-division code).
3. What do individual characters mean? The two letters are a District Code, the character following is a sub-division code. The 5 alphanumeric characters are a random identifier.
4. Does a car have one plate for its life or does it get reregistered? It will generally have one plate for it's life, but it can be reregistered on request, or if the plates are stolen etc.
5. What can be found out from a plate number? The National Division and Subdivision of issue, and the vehicle's general category (the coloured top sticker, Green is a 5 star safety car, Yellow is a less-safe/less modern car (these are limited to 120km/h on motorways), Red is heavy vehicles, trailers, buses and classic cars (limited to 90km/h), Red/Green stripe is motorbike, Blue is emergency vehicle). It's possible to infer the year of registration based on the letters, since plates are issued in series. There is also a sticker identifying the emissions category of the vehicle, which is a black circle with a white number denoting the category. In electric vehicles, this emissions sticker is replaced by a green sticker with a white letter 'X'.

The green sticker above the dash shows that this is a 5 Star safety rated car (this sticker is holographic with the government seal, and is required for the plate to be road legal, if it is removed you can't drive the car). The black circle sticker with a '5 below the dash shows that this car meets Category 5 (the same thing as Euro 5) emission standards (some cities require a minimum emission standard to drive a car in them).

1. What is the license plate format? The plates are given a number sequentially. Diplomats have the letters CD and their country code before the number.
2. What is the color scheme and font? Black characters on a white background. The standard font is DIN-17/TGL 0-17. If you buy your own plate it maay be whatever you like. Stenciling is also allowed.
3. What do individual characters mean?Nothing. It's just how many number plates have been handed out so far.
4. Does a car have one plate for its life or does it get reregistered? It's with the vehicle for life. Temporary plates are re-registered when the car is sold.

6. License plate sizes. Around normal European signs in height. Grows in width as the more characters are added.

Line 2 is an entirely random hexadecimal string for uniqueness purposes.

4. Does a car have one plate for its life or does it get reregistered? A car gets its plate for life. It is removed once the car cannot be used anymore and is recycled so it can be turned into a new plate or any other product.

5. What can be found out from a plate number?
One can find the location a vehicle was manufactured instantly from line one. By supplying both line one and line two to a police officer or an online vehicle lookup service, one can also find:
- The full name of the vehicle's owner
- The Brand, Model, and Make of the vehicle
- Location the vehicle was purchased at
- Location the vehicle's owner lives at
For more advanced vehicles, the plate information is also recorded on the on-board computer's memory and allows the authorities remote access to the vehicle's GPS transmitter with a password.

AA 11111. At the left there is a Numolandic flag with the letters НУМ under it, for НУМОЛАНД (Numoland).

Black letters on white background. Font is similar to the one on old German plates.

3. What do individual characters mean?
They are sequential. The letters go from А (A) to В (V) and the numbers go from 10000 to 99999. The letters Й (J), О (O) and З (Z) are not used.

The same plate number for the life of the vehicle.

Make, model and current owner.

Other letters are assigned sequentially and have no specific meaning, except on N-plates, where the first 2 or 3 letters specify the nation the vehicle is registered to.

4. Does a car have one plate for its life or does it get reregistered? Both; Car keeps plates until the plates are surrendered or seized. Vehicle is reregistered every year and a half but the sticker goes on the windshield
