All across the room men in plain noble clothes start pulling out hidden daggers and swords, ready and willing to fight if given the order. King Huskar orders his guards to arms and they do . . . only to draw and place their swords to his neck. Tension begins to fill the room as nobles with confused and fearful looks dart their eyes around the room, wondering what comes next. The queen sits back down, content to draw out the suspense as she delicately cuts into her chicken dinner with a sharp knife that worries her king.

"So. Did you think you could hold your precious title for this long, my love? Did you think that I would not hear of your misdeeds? Killing the poor and downtrodden down in Derbyshire so you wouldn't have to see their misfortune? Seeing to it that my friend, Western Pacific Territories, received a barony instead of the ducal title that he rightly deserved? Sending our son, Herargon, to that creepy Irish count Ifreann for 'study'?" *calm voice suddenly turns to shriek and shrill:* [b]"SLEEPING WITH THE MAIDENS IN TRANSOXTHRAXIA'S COURT!?"[/b]

*sighs and lets loose a nervous little giggle, a touch of insanity is heard in it* "While you have sat there in your throne, decadence on display, I have been working against you. I have them all wrapped around my fingers and work to strengthen the realm. Under my shadow rule, I was the one who coaxed Roma Byzantina into granting YOU the right to claim the Kingdom of the Danish Confederacy. It was I who calmed the tensions between Duke Wolven League and Duke Shaggai. You saw Nightkill off of this throne, but I was the one who ordered his assassination so he could never come back."

The queen gives her King one last kiss before ordering the guards to take him away. The king struggles with futility, yelling obscenities and vowing revenge her way. The queen sips her wine with a wry smile across her lips.[/i]

So here's where this thing has migrated to now, eh?

Anyway, I kinda have a North (from latter of the pre-conquest starts) game of CK2 ongoing (I say kinda because I haven't played for a while since my earlier king's son took over) in which the north in addition to the usual invasion of riverlands shenanigans
a) Conquered Qohor. Yep. You heard it. The little lad on the throne is king of the North, Riverlands, and Qohor. The latter is actually only a king-tier title in contrast to the former which are the empire-tier ones.
b) Started conquering the wildling settlements beyond the wall and handing them out to Starks to settle in. Sadly one of them, I think a nephew of my last king, then turned Wildling, so I've got that going for me.

But the real most interesting part here is what I managed to have happen after convincing a northern Old Gods-believing Lord Commander to bend the knee and then pissing him off.
