We are too rich to have such petty evasion schemes.

There's no way in hell that our politicians have appeared in the so-called "Panama Papers". It's just that our conservative politicians, no, foreign spies and traitors, have accused us of having "very high taxes" and having "communist economic policies".
Note: This nation does not reflect its owner's political and personal views and never has used NS stats.

Would your nations politicians be laundering money and be revealed in the Panama Papers?
yes
Who is detailed?
the Prime Minister, the previous prime Minister, Harold G. Ford, the previous president John Taylor Jr.
the current prime Minister, Michael P. Zimmer, the President Carol Dartenby, who took bribes of up to $13.2 billion from various Oil companies in other nations, such as shell and maverick. the leader of the Catholic Church, Father Bishop of the revolution Matthew darrel Sr. has been revealed to have taken 2.5 trillion from the church and stored it in billions of micro accounts with fake names in 180 different countries, these include amounts as small as 2 Sais to a massive north korean account of 262 billion, which is the largest account the Carriebean Office of Corruption and Internal Affairs COCIA has found so far in the week long search.
the most damning so far is the new Secretary of the Elderly and Medicare, Alba F. Shortwater, who, since it was set up, has the personal information and had siphoned off billions of sais from the 205 million Carriebean people over 65 with the excuse on their monthly balances to be a " non negotiable tax." the NNT is set up so that the government can get some money off insurance scammers in the early 2000's. she pocketed that amount, that was usually 20 Sais, one sixth of the normal Carriebean elderly monthly checks, this has enraged the growing elder population once news surfaced, and now several are proposing a " walk on carriebean city."

originally in 2001, the Department of Elderly and Medicare was set up to " provide millions of the aging carriebean population with medicare, medicaid, and support to insure the elders of the nation do not die poor, but die slightly less poor."

How are they hiding their money?
they give it to criminals who then sell it for drugs which the politicians involved buy up in mass, they then use that money to fund terrorists freedom fighters.
after that money "disappears" the people usually involved in the transactions are usually killed off by the Carriebean Special Forces on the orders of the president or Emperor.
How does the populace of your nation react?
many are calling for a change of leadership and for General Stalin to step down amid a multi trillion dollar arms deal that is to be negotiated with the United States. this inculdes the old people who were scammed out of a fifth of their social security by Shortwater, and people are demanding Shortwater to be hung in the streets.

If they were to hide money in a tax haven, they wouldn't do so in Panama; there are already other tax havens closer to home.

No. Theurgia has an extremely stringent financial surveillance system. Anyone found guilty of attempting to evade taxes through offshore subterfuge is ritually sacrificed in a public, televised religious ceremony.

No.

Because (a) we're not in reality where any version of 'Panama' exists;
and (b) we generally don't have the sort of taxation that makes people think that they "need" to hide their money like that.

Taxation in Fatatatutti is on a voluntary basis so there's no need to "hide" money.

The corrupted capitalists, maybe, but the leftists and nationalists are way too proud of their country to hide their money offshore.

Tax evasion in general is pretty difficult in the Empire due to the highly connected electronic banking system. The most that people might get away with would be equivalent to low six-digit sums in US dollars (22nd century Earth).

More specifically, interdimensional tax evasion? That'd be a really tough trick.

For starters, the Empire and the United Nations of Sol have what amounts to a barter economy with each other. Currency (in the form of ten-year treasury notes) occasionally accumulates when one nation has a trade surplus, but isn't held for long. This is a holdover from a time when the interdimensional conduits were much more tenuous, and both governments feared that a disproportionate debt might lead to the debtor simply cutting off contact. Nowadays, with the steady flow of goods, travelers and immigrants, and highly stable governments in both nations, a severing of relations is practically unthinkable - but the practice remains in place to ensure this state continues. Furthermore, neither nation permits non-residents to own most types of assets (immovable property, shares, etc) for political reasons - they fear losing their de facto independence.

In summary, exchanging Imperial credits for Earth currency that could be hidden in an Earth tax haven would be impractical, costly, and extremely high profile. Even a powerful politician couldn't get that past all the oversight without declaring it.

Would your nations politicians be laundering money and be revealed in the Panama Papers?
No. Since the Islamic Revolution every politicians have to prove that they have no personal ambitions for the government, and they have to honestly report their wealth to the Corruption Eradication Commission every month, to ensure their honesty in the government level.
Who is detailed?
None of the politicians, but the head of Acehian Bureau of Logistics, a national company, is detailed.
How are they hiding their money?
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that he mixed it with the material aid sent to Latin American countries that used to help eradicate disease and poverty in these countries. Later, after the aid arrived, a local "staff" would separate the money and send it to the banks in Panama.
How does the populace of your nation react?
Although there are some riots, especially from the youths, who demanded that the head of Acehian Bureau of Logistics deposed and punished immediately, most of the population aren't surprised to hear the news, since many have suspected him, including the government itself, but no further action taken at the time since there's no further evidence that can be used as an excuse to punish him.

In our 'Verse, Panama doesn't exist.

It is possible that some Auzkhian politicians could evade taxes with hiding money overseas accounts and properties, but that rarely happens, and in some cases, Auzkhia is the tax haven, especially with our overseas territories and small states.

A few might, but they would be sacked if they were caught being corrupt.
