About us
SDI AG is largest defense conglomerate in the Kingodm of Arceaenia and is the main supplier of arms to the Arceaenian armed forces. SDI is a entirely privately owned corporation which aims to provide its end users with extremely advanced, reliable, and effective weapons platforms. Our main headquarters are located in the Arceaenian city of Isenstadt.
Export Rules:
Despite being a privately owned corporation, SDI has its products subjected to export restrictions by the Arceaenian government. Final transaction of the product is conducted by the Arceaenian Ministry of War's Foreign Military Sales Department who are responsible for handling procurement, logistics and delivery and providing product support, user training, and necessary infrastructure construction of the purchased equipment. All equipment sold by SDI requires the buying nation to have their purchase approved by the Arceaenian Arcaneian Foreign Office which enforces strict arms regulation control laws to prevent sensitive defense or defense-related technology from falling into the wrong hands. Foreign governments interested in purchasing a piece of equipment from SDI must submit a formal Letter of Request (LOR) from an authorized foreign government representative which then permits the Arcaneian Foreign Office Foreign Military Sales Department to answer requests for information. The LOR carries no obligation to purchase the article or service. Once the LOR is receive a foreign military sales case will established in order to determine whether said foreign nation will be granted authorization to import the requested products.
In addition to strict control of export sales the Foreign Military Sales Department strictly controls the the technical data exported from the Kingdom of Arceaenia in furtherance of this agreement and any defense article which may be produced or manufactured from such technical data or defense service may not be transferred to a person or organization in a third country or to a national of a third country except as specifically authorized in this agreement unless the prior written approval of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been obtained. Items subject to transfer regulation include the physical product itself and any associated hardware, software, and documentation thereof.
Technical descriptions, performance specifications, operational manuals, and any associated paperwork or documentation related to all products sold by SDI are all considered classified information by the Arceaenian Ministry of War and may not be disseminated without explicit approval from the Arceaenian Ministry of War. Downloading and/or modification of software from any SDI product is also strictly prohibited without prior authorized consent. Significant technical modifications of any kind to any SDI product without explicit approval are also prohibited. After submitting a LOR request organizations may request modifications to the product to suit their specific operating needs, a wish SDI is perfectly willing to grant.
Restricted Products:
Products marked Restricted are products with sensitive technologies nominally reserved only for Military allies of Arcaenia. Nations wishing to purchase products marked Restricted should send a TG with what restricted products they are requesting for purchase approval.
