Beaverriver Soccer Association Season 1

After the moderately successful World Cup 69 campaign, Beaverriver football fell into its dark age that coincided with the countries recession that hit Beaverriver hard. With the collapse of the Professional League System, many clubs played in the local amateur league with moderate levels of success. However, other clubs disbanded as funding and support waned such as the very successful club Trolls are AFC. The Dark age of soccer will make the recovery hard for Beaverriver.

However, The economy eventually recovered and the billionaires of the country saw an amazing opportunity to revive Beaverriver soccer and cooperated to form the Beaverriver Premier League along with its second division counterpart, Beaverriver League Two. Many clubs from the past professional system applied along with many other hopeful amateur clubs. In the end, all of the clubs accepted into the league either were apart of or claimed history from the last professional league system. Many Beaverriverian soccer fans rejoice as professional club soccer has returned to Beaverriver

"I'm leaving this club. Send me out." - Dado Vargas
Recolosburg Rompos' Star Striker is demanding a transfer after another promising season goes to waste.

It was coming. Dado Vargas wants to get away the Recolosburg Rompos. After the Rompos started off the KJL Season with a 7-3-0 record, the team fell apart due to poor defence and goalkeeping. Vargas was constantly attacked, being blamed for the constant losses, even though he had recorded 26 goals and 8 assists during this season.

"It's ridiculous, I do my job, what I'm paid to do, and the media completely ignores it." Vargas spoke viciously at a press conference during his announcement. "I have nothing against the fans or players however. My time with the Recolosburg Rompos was enjoyable, but I'd wish to leave and have the chance on winning a championship abroad. I'm leaving this club, hopefully by the end of this transfer window coming up. Send me out now."

26-year old Dado Vargas, who was brought in 5 years ago during the summer transfer window, has maintained 20-goal seasons with the Recolosburg Rompos ever since joining the club. Just two years ago, Vargas signed a 4 year contract with the Recolosburg Rompos that saw him earn $NSD 6,500 per week.

Season 1975

It was a rather quiet transfer window, though after the flurry of offseason transfers last season, perhaps the lack of many transfers this one was to be expected. However what was not expected was that CAP would not be making the Champions' Cup next season, but that is what is happening after they finished level on points with Galatica, five adrift of Tani who won their league title on the trot now, but with a worse goal differential. It's been at least two decades since CAP has failed to make the Champions' Cup, having become rather accustomed to it and the extra capital it provided. Now they will have to content themselves with just the Globe Cup, which just well mean that some of those talented players on their roster or one of their youth projects will have to be sold during the next off season to keep the books balanced.

Tani has had a season to remember, not only winning their third straight title but also having reached the semifinals of the Champions' Cup, before being defeated by the eventual champions, as well as making a deep run into the Cygnus Cup. However they were denied very early on at the chance of repeating the domestic double, as fortunes had CAP visiting Tani in the first round of the Copa, where they would come away with a most surprising four to one victory. CAP however would be upturned at their own place the very next round, after Tyrysier took them to extra time and managed to squeak out a goal. There is growing concern inside the ranks of CAP that the squad might need to undergo a revitalization lest they get swept further back down the table.

Galatica would be the eventual winners of the Copa, making it a very pleasant season for themselves after they were able to pip CAP for the second Champions' Cup slot, making the Copa title all the much sweeter. However it was not sweet for Santos Luega who will miss the Globe Cup despite their fifth place finish in the league, as Hellinic Rouge earned the berth for reaching the Copa Final. Baskita will be quite pleased to be back among the UICA slots as they look to make a very deep run into the GC in what many are assuming will be Gignac's last season in the game. The Valladares striker brought the title to Baskita twice and has been quite the stalwart figure for Baskita who no doubt will try to finish his career out on a high.

Team Info 1093 was one step away from playing in the Champions’ Cup last season and it was probably for the better that they didn’t make it with how poorly they played in the Globe Cup. That said the crux of the team is back for another go at the league, and many think they are finally ready to challenge and make Atlantea the first city in Taeshan with three champions.

Other Accolades: Globe Cup 18 Runners Up, Fadron Pizza Cup Winners 4, 14, Benevolence Bowl Winners 1
Last Season Finish:18th
Team Info The once greatest team in Taeshan is now the third greatest team in its home city. The crowds no longer fill the world famous Atlantea Coliseum, and it is no wonder why they do not. The team continues to fall up and down the table and hasn’t really been a factor in quite a few seasons. That said they could ride a new wave of youngsters back to the top, with the right breaks this season. And a lot of them.

Offseason Moves: Promoted Youth squad midfielder Jack Barnes.
Championships:20, 25, 27, 28, 29

Last Season Finish:11th
Team Info Bayern didn’t quite have the season they expected in the last year, but considering they are old and only getting older it wasn’t far from what many other teams would have expected. The team only has one or two seasons left before their star duo of Ying Uing and McDrew call it quits, which means they are either going to have to bring in some new youngsters, or they may follow Hurricanes down the table.

Championships:17, 22, 23, 32, 51
Other Accolades: Fadron Pizza Cup Winners 17
Last Season Finish:5th
Team Info Algaer followed up their surprise title with a respectable fifth which earned them a second straight trip to international soccer. The team has made some interesting offseason acquisitions picking up a former Taeshani national teamer in Dietrich Baden as their big get. The pickups have led many to believe that the recently less fancied side from Bayern may continue to be a big player in the premier league.

Team Info A respectable 8th is where Blacklake found themselves at the end of last season. With the continued success of Landon van Neymar for the national team many think that the side should be doing better. There are also thoughts that if they can’t that he may jump ship to a bigger club in Taeshan, or even test the international waters and spice up his club life.

Team Info Capetown continues to be a middle of the road team both in money and in talent. That seems to be the truth for the past, future and the present. That said it would be no surprise to anyone if they continued to push up the table and one day were a contender.

Team Info: After 20 years mired in the second division Celtic Rangers have managed to return to the top division of Taeshani football. Behind a lot of quality young players, and a bench that has turned many heads the team now makes two foreign sponsored teams in the top division. With their return to the top flight the team hopes to better their first spell which saw them last 5 seasons in the top division.

Team Info Fadron continues to be perhaps the most underperforming team in the Premier League. The team has made some offseason moves that have really excited the fans. Longtime Goalkeeper West was benched in favor of national team starter Xavier Troubador (yes they know, massive oversite), and a youth movement was started as the first Youth Cup winner was promoted to the full team in Aaron Stevenson, who will start at Right Back.

Team Info Hannah continues to fight for its place in the sun, but for the most part all they are finding is shade. The team continues to make lackluster offseason pickups and for the most part doesn’t make anyone feel good about the possibility of the once highly hyped team actually being a contender for the league title.

Team Info Knightspurs have not been anything to talk about for years and that is a shame because Maxwell McMichael, recently named Captain, is a very talented player and for the most part has not been surrounded by a strong enough team.

Championships:31, 33, 34, 35
Other Accolades: Fadron Pizza Cup Winners 6, 10, 18, 24, 27, Benevolence Bowl Winners 5
Last Season Finish:4th
Team Info Laketown has continued to be one of the top five teams in Taeshan and for the most part they have spent enough money, and had good enough players overall to push to be a top 3 team. That said they have no real movement up the table recently and many wonder if they can ever reclaim the trophy they once claimed 4 times in 5 years.

Offseason Moves: Bought Center Midfielder Adam Kelly from Wolverines.

Other Accolades:

Team Info Los Riosa’s return to the top flight was met with a fantastic first season seeing them finish in the top 7 and actually be relevant to the league for a little while. Since then the past few seasons have seen them be what they really were. Bad, but just good enough to stay in the top flight. That said their owners don’t seem to care enough to push the team to be better so we may not see the team get better for a few years to come.

Offseason Moves: Bought Center Midfielder Milton Connor from Real Chinchinhua. Bought Center Back Jason Jones from FC Tenacity.

Team Info Mierton almost managed to win their first championship in the last season but ultimately they were nog good enough in the end. That said they got a real nice piece in the offseason picking up a strong center midfielder in Milton Connor. It seems to many that Connor could be the piece that gets the Manatees their first championship.

Team Info Moresville is altogether ready to get relegated back to the second division. That said they just seem to keep on kicking in the top division to everyone’s surprise. Now they have another year of it to go, and it probably won’t be a surprise to anyone if they manage another incredible season of floating above the line.

Other Accolades: Fadron Pizza Cup Winners 15, Benevolence Bowl Winners 3, 4, 14
Last Season Finish:14th
Team Info New Capetown has been on a steady decline the past few seasons and if their offseason moves are any indication, this upcoming season will be no different. That said one of the Petersheim brothers, Ensign, is on their bench and if their talent is anything to be talked about, New Capetown may soon rise back up the pack.

Team Info Nordiques managed to finish atop of the second division last season bringing them back to the top flight for the fourth time. The team is much better than the last few times, and could potentially finish middle pack. That said they could also follow in the footsteps of many teams recently and fall back to the Erste Liga in one season.

Offseason Moves: Sold Striker Val Valjean to X Island Marauders. Bought Center Forward Falstaff Book from Wiechester FC. Promoted Youth Squad Midfielder Sahler Moon. Named Wesley Harper Captain.

Last Season Finish:1st
Team Info Real Atlantea are now one title away from tying rivals Atlantea Hurricanes with the most wins in league history. That said they had a strange offseason. They started it by listing long time center forward Val Valjean for sale, who left for 50 million to X Island after 14 years with the club, including 10 years as a pro, and 8 as a starter. They picked up promising young Taeshani striker Falstaff Book to replace him. This was especially surprising as Valjean was expected to be the new captain. Instead Wesley Harper in his first season starting has been given the armband and will be expected to lead from the center of the field. Harper was a long time sub for the team, and now seems poised to lead the most star studded team in Taeshan, who now not only has to win a title without three stars from the previous years, but has to lead Taeshan back in international football as the league has fallen from grace in that, falling out of the top 10 of leagues in the world.

Offseason Moves: Sold Dietrich Baden to Bayern-Algaer. Sold Milton Connor to Mierton Manatees. Promoted Youth Squad midfielders Elvis Simpson and Kyle Carnes.

Other Accolades:

Team Info Real Chinchinhua made some interesting moves over the offseason. Selling two long time midfielders so they could start young Schottia midfielder Johannas Unterhausen and Taeshani Enrique Fuegahita the teams attack lost 15 years of experience in one swoop. There will likely be growing pains with the two youngsters, but if they can mesh well it could be a good future for the Chihuahuas.

Offseason Moves: Bought Center Midfielder Alvaro Diego from Wolverines.

Team Info Sleepy Hollow were just points away from playing internationally at the end of last season, but they just barely missed out. In the whole the team has gotten much better since the arrival of Taeshan National teamer Josmer Medici. The left footed player has brought them back up the field, and the team looks geared to finish in the top five in the upcoming season.

Team Info Tintown is now over 20 years removed from their championship and for the most part that is just a long forgotten memory. The team is one of the most lackluster outfits in the league and it would be no surprise to anyone if they continue to be near the bottom of the table and in the relegation zone.

Offseason Moves: Bought Center Forward Val Valjean from Real Atlantea. Bought Center Midfielder Joe Stephens from Wiechester FC.

Team Info X Island made perhaps the biggest offseason move in their pickup of long time Real Atlantea striker Val Valjean. The oft league goalscoring leader has moved to the northern club and seems to be ready to lead them to a promise land they have not seen in almost 40 years. The team is stronger than ever and with the right push could win the league.

Team Info Yaton sits above the middle table, but that said they have a very good youth squad, coming off of a championship and many believe that the team is on the up. With their offseason additions of speedy outside midfielders the fans think the new found crossing strategy running up and down the field will be the death of the team, or the life of it.

BeyondLinks: official Blatter account of Kerlagrad Courier Sports!

Thanks for another great season, and I'll see you whenever on "do we really have 1,024 cantons"?

Ephesian win the battle; Spenson win the seating war; nobody really knows what's going on with the capital's fans and/or manager.

Keppal edge out Slogda again, and have the Oxen to thank for it.

That's full time, by the way. Bassabook and its remarkable young women are your league champions!

Anyway, I hope this was the kind of help you wanted, @admiraltully , and good luck (?)

I don't think any of us in Zwangzug know what to do in international "bars," and on current form, none of us can be trusted in "space."

RB @beyondlinks It's a spacebar.

I don't know what you're talking about.

RB @beyondlinks If that is too little time for you hit the pause button?

Ryan Agost has tied it up for FTC United, which sends Slogda back below Keppal. Two minutes plus stoppage to go; can we go on?

Phoebe Gneis-Delarosen ties it up for Sporting Esper. Again. Welp.

RB @beyondlinks Please never entrust any spaceships to your predictive skills. Or observational skills. Or any skills at all.

RB @beyondlinks lol

Also, speaking of Namiri, I appear to have missed yet another beautiful goal from Ogawa, from the edge of the box, against Forest.

Aaaaaaand Satyapal Chakraverti immediately gives Namiri Independent the lead off the restart.

Javen McGraw scores for Sporting Esper, and still no change in 102d. Eight minutes to play, that might be it for Namiri Independent.

And it's just gotten pretty interesting, with Shayna Nelson scoring for the Rovers. This knocks Keppal down to sixth, below Slogda.

You know, there's one more game going on today, and it's up in Wayr Stadium no less; the Rovers are hosting Keppal.

RB @beyondlinks If looks could kill, Ephesian bench would be getting carded. What are they going to try, a /more/ attacking substitution?

Or...Melissa Akers-Xiang could just score again for Spenson to pull them into third again. That works too.

And now 102d have twenty minutes to score a hat-trick of spite against archrivals Bassabook and make this interesting.

Is this exciting enough for you? Ako Moarefi scores for Namiri Independent, finally!

RB @beyondlinks Oh, come on, we gotta justify the drama of the timesync.

RB @beyondlinks wake me when either of these teams does anything in the Globe Cup to make this worthwhile

Wow, there it is! Tao-Dawson gets the hat trick and Ephesian have caught Spenson for third!

Compars Ogawa scores for Eintracht Trink on a brilliant long-range shot from midfield. Trink need a lot more magic to reach fifth, though.

RB @beyondlinks Think we found a Bassabook fan! Didn't know they have Blatter connections.

RB @beyondlinks I vote to launch last questioner into space and compute time dilation. We don't talk about such things here.

RB @beyondlinks Is Nirav Gadhavi still in goal for Independent? How old is he?

Goal for Tom Mil-Shpet of Excelsior Slogda, they lead the Oxen by two now. But will still need help to get back into the top five.

Let's not skip over the fact that Namiri Independent need to score. Sporting Esper have been the picture of mediocrity, but really?

RB @beyondlinks 102d have lots of spoiling to do.

Five minutes in, Guttuso to Idoni to Menken to Richard Graham! 2-0 BOB! Just like that.

RB @beyondlinks she would be culture shocked all the way but probably get there, wherever "there" is

RB @beyondlinks Guttuso is the one player in this league who I would trust on a normal boat more than a spaceship.

No wonder, since they've been playing together for years.

The irony, of course, is that it's a couple of young women who have really led them this season. Idoni and Guttuso have been phenomenal.

Bassabook are holding onto their leads against 102d (and Namiri Independent) as well.

And on that exhilarating note, I'm ready for halftime, with Spenson looking over their head in the capital, but still in third.

Isn't it always.

RB @beyondlinks ...to count to eleven

RB @beyondlinks it's the proletariat regime, they can't be trusted

And right off the restart, Michelle Lawrence, Ephesian's center of that midfield X, dribbles forward and scores to make it 4-2. Astonishing.

Two minutes later, Bernard Mathews-Dodd pulls one back for Spenson! Not so fast!

Tao-Dawson with a header to make it 3-1 for Ephesian! For seeding purposes, again, they could use a win by three.

Everything always comes back to that "bleep you, we have a trebuchet" attitude, doesn't it?

RB @beyondlinks for spaceship parts suitability; Slogda for achieving *something* with shields, Cham on weapons, I guess? Because trebuchet.

RB @beyondlinks Obligatory "no one knows where the literal coasts are so no one knows who can crew a literal ship" whine

RB @beyondlinks Ephesian's defense we're talking about, anything can happen. Who's meaningless now?

Lepore-Wabash scores her second for the Muses.

"Enough" in both cases is extremely nontrivial, mind you.

I think so? They'd need FTC United to hold on against Slogda, and Spenson to come back against Ephesian, but I think the math might work.

RB @beyondlinks If Trink come back and beat Namiri Forest by enough, can they make the Globe Cup?

Meanwhile, Roland Hammars has equalized for Cham.

And Slogda fall behind 1-0 to Mun Deetes of the Oxen. Which...I think actually leaves them sixth.

Connor Tao-Dawson scores for Ephesian, they're ahead of Spenson again.

Trink have had an anticlimactic season, I think they've used up most of their frustration by now.

RB @beyondlinks How much do Trink fans hate that *Namiri Forest* are beating them by the biggest margins of anyone today?

Devadas has scored again in Trink, by the way.

RB @beyondlinks I would rather send Keppal to staff my spaceship's shields, I think they'd be the most likely team to accomplish something.

RB @beyondlinks Canbix too touchy about nicknames, but Spenson's money issues (lol) slightly worse.

RB @beyondlinks Keppal are an alternative to Slogda, though, who were at the risk of becoming a boring dynasty.

RB @beyondlinks Popular opinion says to launch Spenson; I think fans hate them more than Keppal (despite Keppal winning more recently?)

Goal for Wayne Dumont-Airy in the Bug House. 1-0 Twineur over Cham.

It sounds like we just missed a goal from Tad Menken for Bassabook! 0-1 in 102d. Local fans fuming. The Rebels' job just got a lot harder.

Hannah Lepore-Wabash scores for Canbix against Arlington and...hang on...

Goal for Luka Hanovich! And I think /that/ will let Excelsior Slogda leapfrog past Ephesian, putting them fifth. (They're in the west FTC.)

RB @beyondlinks Who would we launch into space first, Keppal or Spenson? Outside chance for Canbix.

Two minutes later, Austin Plumb-Engstrom has tied it! Wow.

The lead moves Ephesian past Keppal Cosmos, from 5th to 4th. They need to beat Spenson by 3 to overtake the Suburbians on GD.

Goal for Rachel Duarte of Ephesian FC! Just like that, Percy Eskridge's side are ahead against Spenson Suburbia.

RB @beyondlinks Namiri Forest managing some offense is never meaningless

That was Vinod Devadas of Namiri Forest, I mean, against Eintracht Trink in a less meaningful game. Sorry to get you excited.

Kickoff time! And...Namiri waste no time doing their part, scoring right away!

RB @beyondlinks Are we talking ship ships here? I can think of a few teams whose spaceships need exploding.

I don't /think/ that was directed at the right place, but if you can help out a fellow fan (?) or can suggest who in the league can, holla.

RB @beyondlinks My thoughts: I need a few brave life-forms to crew a ship bent on nigh-certain death :( Who among you can aid me?

There are probably some other games too, so stick with us and share your thoughts! Because after all, who else is as great.

Plus, Spenson Suburbia take on Ephesian FC with Globe Cup positioning on the line...and a crazy manager seeks revenge on his old team.

Little motivation to help out out of spite, you'd think? Wrong. It's just 102d, who have every reason to defeat Bassabook. It's 102d.

Rather, they need a win and a Bassabook loss to take the title on goal difference...and BOB are playing the league's worst team.

Independent led for most of the season, MDs 7-25, but faltered with losses to Canbix and the Rovers. They don't control their own destiny.

It's Bassabook Old Boys and Namiri Independent, eighth and ninth last season, in with a shot at winning it this time around.

Welcome to our time-synced Matchday Thirty; it looks set to be a great one!

ENGLISH WRITTEN ASSIGNMENT - LEVEL: UPPER JUNIOR
(Ynglysh Ryytyncorswurcc - Lebhel: Upper Juenyor)

Q: Write, using only English Language, a few paragraphs about your family and the things you enjoy doing together. You will be marked based upon spelling, grammer (ooc: sic) and content. You have four weeks to complete your essay.

My name is Aled Pennyless. I am ten and three-quarter years old. I live in the Rhottensods district of the city of Scummoss with my Dad, who is awesome, my Nanna, who is my Dad's mum and Uncle Dunc who is my Nanna's friend and I don't think he is actually my Uncle but he's funny and I like him too. Me and my Dad are big fans of Eabrym & Rhottensods who are the best team in the whole world ever and we've been to lots of games to watch them play. We haven't been recently though because Dad lost his job at the iron works because he made a redundancy. I don't know what a redundancy is but I think it's a good thing because I get to see my Dad a lot more but he says it's a bad thing because Nanna and Uncle Dunc have to buy food for us all. I told Dad he could get money by playing soccer for Eabrym & Rhottensods then I'd be able to go and see all the games. He used to play for Dyrtope Toun Rhoebhres before I was born but apparently that was a long time ago and his legs aren't what they used to be. Nanna said he had to stop playing because he had a bad injury and it made him very sad. Uncle Dunc likes to tease me about soccer. He supports th'Pryns'es Clubbe because he used to live in Dundacropht which is another part of Scummoss near where th'Pryns'es Clubbe ground is. As a treat, he took me and my Dad to see Eabrym & Rhottensods play against th'Pryns'es Clubbe. It was awesome because we won three-nil and me and Dad were really happy. Dad was really really happy because he bet some money and won so he could buy us all fish and chips for supper. Uncle Dunc said th'Pryns'es Clubbe would win next time and that my Dad shouldn't be betting with money he doesn't currently have. I don't know what he means by this because my Dad must have had money to make a bet. To prove that Eabrym & Rhottensods won, I've stuck in the sheet with the scores on which I cut out of the newspaper.

Dad introduced me to one of his old friends who I've never met before. He's called Mr Koernyg and has dark black skin like Uncle Dunc has but I don't like him like I like Uncle Dunc. Nanna and Uncle Dunc don't like him either. He's a bit scaryish. Nanna pretended to be nice to him but I can tell she doesn't like him because she acts like she does when Ms Oeguldycc the tax collector comes, or a police officer, or that Mrs Y'yng who lives down our road. Uncle Dunc says he's bad news and my Dad should keep a better class of friend. Dad says he met Mr Koernyg when he used to play for Dyrtope so maybe he also used to play soccer too but I think he is a farmer now because even though he wears a smart long black coat, he has a mashetti in his belt but hides it under the coat. Dad took Mr Koernyg into another room to talk about soccer. I wanted to come too but Mr Koernyg said it was a grown-up conversation and I should go play by myself for a bit. This made me angry because I'm nearly eleven which is nearly all grown-up and I told him this. Mr Koernyg thought this was funny and said I had balls but Dad and him needed a private conversation. I have several balls actually and one of them I got signed by the Eabrym & Rhottensods team but that's a special one I keep by my bed and I never play soccer with it but I don't understand why having balls makes you a grown-up. Dad said the conversation wouldn't take long and I should write a bit more of my essay then we'd go to the nearby fields and play soccer.

Dad's really not happy at the moment because of the soccer. I thought I was sad because first there was really horrible weather, then because the team from Sloppey got lost somewhere or something, then it got to Tuesday and it was only a boring nil-all draw. I put the scores from the newspaper above this bit of my essay because I've put this week's scores underneath this bit and they're even worse! Dad was really upset because if Eabrym & Rhottensods had beaten th'Yslanders a'Sloppey then they'd have won the league and qualify for this Uica cup like they did two seasons ago. Then this week they lost to Mudphuttynge Toun and now there's a chance that they might not win the league which is making Dad really unhappy. He was so unhappy that he told Nanna to tell Mr Koernyg that he wasn't in when he was. I was going to say something but Uncle Dunc grabbed me and put his finger to his lips and said Dad needed to hide from Mr Koernyg. Sometimes my family are weird. Mr Koernyg didn't believe my Nanna because he shouted to my Dad something like (and I'll try to write it in English). He said
Dephyth, should the unthinkable happen, I shall bring down further unthinkables upon you. You had better pray to any gods that want to listen that Eabrym can still take the title.

Then he left.
Nanna found out later from Dad that he had made a bet with Mr Koernyg and some of his friends that Eabrym & Rhottensods would win the Championship because he was certain that no other team could seriously come anywhere close but now there was a small chance that the stupid railway team from the Loesyde area of Scummoss could win. If they did win then Mr Koernyg would be very unhappy because he also bet on Eabrym because Dad had said it was a good idea and now he could lose a lot of money to some very dangerous people apparently. Uncle Dunc nearly beat my Dad up when he found out. He said my Dad was very selfish and a 'fuck in more on' whatever that means.

I am too sad to write today because my Dad has gone and Eabrym & Rhottensods lost the Championship. He left the house just before the game finished to get something from the shops but never came back.
I hope he's okay.

ARKAN PRO SOCCER LEAGUE
Season 1

After multiple years of semi-amateur soccer in Arkan, The Arkan Pro Soccer League was founded. With hopes of growing the sport in Arkan, the APSL was quickly sponsored by Galix, a local telephone provider, whom sponsored the Arkan Promotion League as it was developed as well.

MATCHDAY ONE

Super Six

Gorgona United 1–1 Beckwith City
B. Sanford (13) - S. Bunker (90+3)

It looked to be all going swimmingly for Gorgona United, as they kicked off their season hosting Beckwith City. A thirteenth minute goal from right-winger, Ben Sanford gave them a lead they looked to hold all the way into the dying minutes, when twenty-two year old substitute, Stann Bunker managed to somehow squeeze the ball into the bottom corner. Gorgona will be disappointed that their dominance in possession and sheer number of chances (having over double the shots on target as the visitors) did not earn them more than a point at the Gorgona Arena whilst Beckwith City will be looking to improve on their poor performance when they play the Marlborough Royals next week.

FC Chippenham 2–3 Lavington FC
W. Rimmer (52, 60) - C. Nelson (3, 68), A. Blackburn (71)

A brace by Will Rimmer was not enough to secure a victory for a Chippenham side that never really showed any desire for victory. Falling behind early on due to an error by goalkeeper, Luis Cropper which was seized upon by Charlie Nelson, Chippenham never gained any rhythm, and were lucky to go into halftime only a goal behind. They were perhaps even more lucky to be awarded a dubious penalty in the 52nd minute, which Rimmer happily tucked away to tie the scores. Moments later, Chippenham had surged to an unlikely lead after Lavington keeper, Zach Winfield failed on the second attempt to deny Rimmer from close range following a series of Lavington defensive calamities. However, falling behind seemed to focus the visitors minds and goals in quick succession from Nelson and winger, Andy Blackburn handed the victory to the objectively better Lavington side.

Race Point 3–3 Marlborough Royals
J. Yap (27), B. Honeysett (58), P. Wisdom (71) - B. Little (39, 80), E. Snyders (44)

In a high scoring game that both sides will be disappointed to have ultimately lost, the best viewing of the weekend was found. Jeremy Yap began the scoring for Race Point, netting a thirty-five yard free kick after Ben Honeysett was brought down by Todd Wynne. Marlborough soon found their rhythm, however, and an impressive passing display eventually culminated in a real poacher's effort for Bradley Little to level the scores before an Elijah Snyders header gave the Royals a narrow lead going into halftime. It is not known what was said at halftime, but it clearly had an effect on the Race Point side, and it wasn't long before Honeysett converted the sustained pressure into a score-leveling goal. Though the pressure did not subside, Marlborough keeper, Felix Shaw, managed to keep the away side in the game, producing a series of acrobatics to deny a number of efforts from the Race Point attacking three. However, the floodgates eventually burst after an intercepted backpass by Wynne allowed substitute Peter Wisdom to slot home. The Royals returned fire, however, and a floating cross by Richard Athaliah was graciously met by Little's head to once again even up the game with ten minutes to go.

MATCHDAY TWO

Super Six

Beckwith City 3–1 Marlborough Royals
L. Dyson (8), H. Kendall (42), L. Horn (49) - B. Little (57)

William Sinclair and Luke Horn laid an early claim for the most effective midfield duo of the SariLeague, leading their side to victory on a foggy day at the Beckwith Memorial Stadium. Sinclair started the game in a spectacular fashion with a one-hundred yard hollywood pass to winger, Leo Dyson to give the Beckies an early lead before a Horn free kick allowed captain, Hugh Kendall an easy header to double the home side's lead going into halftime. It wasn't much longer till Horn himself made the scoreboard, hitting a volley from just outside the box into the top-righthand-corner to give Beckwith a seemingly insurmountable lead. Bradley Little's goal, his third in two games, may have worried the homeside temporarily but the Royal's inability to capitalise on the momentum it gave ensured that it was Beckwith who came out as winners in the Isle Regis derby.

Lavington FC 0–3 Race Point
H. Britain (4), H. Baldwin (10), B. Honeysett (82)

Any hope Lavington FC had of continuing their winning start to the season crumbled within the first ten minutes as they hosted Race Point at The Matterhorn. A piercing pass by Jeremy Yap set Henry Britain free to net within four minutes for the away side, a Harry Baldwin header somehow found it's way into the the Lavington goal following a corner Lavington would've been embarrassed to give away. Several times the home side looked likely to pull one back through Charlie Nelson, however a strong performance by Liam Michaels between the sticks for Lavington ensured this would not amount to anything and a Ben Honeysett goal late in the second half granted Race Point a victory, made even more important by the sheer number of away goals.

Gorgona United 0–3 FC Chippenham
W. Rimmer (29, 77), J. Upton (63)

After a disappointing opening match, FC Chippenham had many critics to silence - something done in a stylish fashion. Rimmer, the only standout player from the previous weekends loss, lead the charge, netting a fantastic solo goal just before the half hour mark to give the awayside a morale boosting lead and it wasn't long before a steady stream of shots began making their way to the Gorgona United goal, with both Brett Hudson and Zach Bone left feeling unlucky that they did not make the scoreboard. Eventually, however, the visitors goal came through a Justin Upton free kick before Rimmer added his second to gave Chippenham a hard fought, but ultimately comfortable, victory.

MATCHDAY THREE

Super Six

FC Chippenham 0–0 Beckwith City

They say to never meet your heroes; to never watch a much-anticipated football match is perhaps not as catchy, but it rang horribly true at Home Covert on Saturday. In one of the most hotly-anticipated games of the SariLeague, both teams approached the game in an overtly-cautious manner with both sides managing just three shots on target between them - though in-form Will Rimmer came closest for the hosts. Those hoping for a more exciting second half were immediately left with a bitter taste in their mouth when Beckwith frontman, Adrian Swindlehurst was substituted in return for defender, Evan Hurst. In the end, neither side showed any desire to win and it was perhaps for the best that neither did.

Race Point 1–1 Gorgona United
J. Yap (71) - H. King (75)

Both Race Point and Gorgona showed attacking vulnerability after a game with an unusually high number of chances ended with an unusually low number of goals. Ben Honeysett, who was disappointing throughout, set the tone for the game when he missed a sitter in the early minutes before Adam Quickley returned the favour, hitting the post after beating Liam Michaels. Eventually, a Jeremy Yap free kick gave the home side a lead that lasted for just four minutes before a Harry King header tied the game at one-all.

Marlborough Royals 1–1 Lavington FC
A. Montgomery (46) - C. Goodwin (85)

After both Saturday games produced bore-draws, many fans looked to Sunday's fixture between Marlborough Royals and Lavington FC to provide the first win of the weekend. However, if the result left fans disappointed the game certainly did not. Although suffering from a slow start, the only action of the first came in the form of a sterling save by Royals keeper, Felix Shaw, the game soon sped up with both keepers to blame for the two sides going in scoreless at halftime. Controversy marred the beginning of the first half when Bradley Little won a penalty after a clear dive which also saw Lavington captain, Ronan Preston, sent to an early bath. Albert Montgomery converted easily to give the home side the lead. Perhaps spurred on by the injustice, Lavington seemed to find a new gear - forcing Shaw into make a raft of wonder saves. In the end, even the most stable of walls can be broken, however, and Charles Goodwin managed to give the visitors a deserved draw in the closing minutes.

MATCHDAY FOUR

Super Six

Beckwith City 3–1 Lavington FC
A. Swindlehurst (22), Abdiou (49), L. Dyson (82) - C. Nelson (4)

Despite an early goal from in-form striker, Charlie Nelson, Lavington FC could not score their first win since the first matchday. Nelson's strike, a fantastic solo effort and another entry into his personal goal of the season competition, surprised a Beckwith side that had not yet got their motors running. It wasn't long, however, until Beckwith found their mojo, and Luke Horn came close with a long range effort that brushed the crossbar before Adrian Swindlehurst tucked away after a scramble in the six-yard-area. If Lavington hoped that they could renew after half-time, they were mistaken - vibrant wing, Abdiou added a second for Beckwith moments into the second half. From then on, it seemed Beckwith couldn't be caught and they would have felt unlucky to only score one other - a late effort from winger-cum-striker, Leopold Dyson.

Gorgona United 2–4 Marlborough Royals
A. Quickley (79), T. Banner (86) - B. Little (12, 69), A. Montgomery (38), E. Snyders (71)

The cliché is a game of two halves, but the Gorgona Arena provided a less evenly spread game of four quarters - three of which were run by the Marlborough Royals. For seventy-five minutes, it was the Royals who dominated, from a twelfth minute goal from Bradley Little to a Albert Montgomery penalty kick in the first half to a second Little goal, followed minutes later by an Elijah Snyders freekick. It wasn't until they were four goals down that Gorgona came to their senses, putting in a fifteen minute performance that ranked amongst the best in the league - that might've even felt unlucky not to pull of a shocking draw!

FC Chippenham 0–1 Race Point
H. Baldwin (50)

In a game more exciting than the scoreline suggests, it was defender Harry Baldwin who won the day for the awayside. For the entirety of the first half the two teams were deadlocked, with neither side able to break through two solid defensive lineups. It wasn't until Baldwin came forward for a corner Chippenham probably shouldn't have conceded that that one side eventually broke through - towering above his opponents at 6'7", Baldwin lost his marker to power a header into the roof of the net, giving Race Point an important away victory.

MATCHDAY FIVE

Super Six

Race Point 2–4 Beckwith City
H. Britain (29), N. Hammeldon (75) - A. Swindlehurst (30), W. Sinclair (52, 59), S. Bunker (90+1)

Given how Beckwith were the team that conceded the least before this matchday, and Race Point a close second, you could've been excused for thinking a meeting of the two sides would've ended in a bore-draw, but the result was anything but. The game was perhaps best summed up in the two minute period surrounding the half hour mark - Race Point took the lead thanks to a Henry Britain goal before Adrian Swindlehurst hit back just twenty-seven seconds later. Two William Sinclair freekicks followed in short succession, giving Beckwith a large (though perhaps undeserved) lead. Neil Hammeldon gave Race Point a fighting chance on the three-quarters mark before substitute Stann Bunker guaranteed the win for the visitors.

Marlborough Royals 1–1 FC Chippenham
Z. Simpson (90+6) - W. Rimmer (90+2)

They say it's not over till the fat lady sings, which is a message fans at the Liberation Arena should've heeded - most had left before the excitement had begun. After 90 minutes of, what was frankly, boring football, Will Rimmer poked in a short range effort leaving the Chippenham fans who hadn't left early believing they would gain a vital away victory. However, this prompted a frantic four minutes of Marlborough attacks culminating in a Zach Simpson goal in what was ultimately the last kick of the match.

Lavington FC 1–1 Gorgona United
C. Nelson (51) - B. Sanford (32)

It's been the joke of recent that Lavington FC are nothing without striker, Charlie Nelson, and his fantastic solo goal to gift his side a draw they probably didn't deserve will do nothing to silence critics of the side. For a large part of the game, Gorgona dominated and they will have felt unlucky not to have racked up more goals than Ben Sanford's beautiful chipped effort. Regardless, both sides were in need of three points, and both sides will be disappointed to not put some space between themselves and the relegation spot.

MATCHDAY SIX

Super Six

Beckwith City 0–1 Gorgona United
A. Quickley (7)

Beckwith City's bid for the title hit a bump after a loss at the Beckwith Memorial Stadium. Despite being the better team throughout, an Adam Quickley strike following a wonderful long pass from defender, Harry King, put Beckwith behind, and gave Gorgona a lead that the defended for each of the following eighty-three minutes. To call it a 'parking the bus' situation would be an understatement - United goalscorer, Quickley was barely seen in the opposition half again.

Lavington FC 0–2 FC Chippenham
W. Rimmer (19, 71)

The Matterhorn played host to the Will Rimmer show - the prolific striker hit two goals either side of half-time to grant his team victory. The first, a curling effort from 35 yards made a claim for goal of the season. The second, an overhead kick from the edge of the area smashed that claim. If it were not for a stellar performance from keeper Luis Barton, Chippenham could have hit Lavington for far more than the two goals, and Rimmer will perhaps be upset he couldn't add a third to secure his hat-trick.

Marlborough Royals 0–1 Race Point
J. Yap (33)

Jeremy Yap continued to stake a claim for player of the season, netting one for himself whilst dominating the midfield. The fact that he didn't gain an assist is no fault of his own, but rather a combination of a poor performance by the Race Point front-three and a fine game between the sticks for Felix Shaw. Marlborough had a chance in the closing minutes of the game to draw level after Scott Horton brought down Bradley Little in the box, but Albert Montgomery's penalty was expertly saved by a relieved Felix Shaw.

Silver Six

Port Highsthorpe Sailors 3–2 Setter Trinity
Henrikson Island FC 1–1 Kensingtea Legacy
Salvador FC 0–1 Calne Town

Supplementary Six

Ansosa City Thunder 1–2 FC Kongliege
Ackland New Saints 0–0 Sandison Province
Lessay Athletic 0–2 Wells FC

MATCHDAY SEVEN

Super Six

Marlborough Royals 1–2 Beckwith City
Albert Montgomery (22) - W. Sinclair (52), Abdiou (77)

It's common knowledge in football that home advantage is a thing, yet for the second weekend in a row it was the away sides who triumphed in every match, beginning with Saturday's early match at the Liberation Arena. Marlborough might have put that advantage to better use in a first half that they dominated. At first they looked unlucky after Zach Simpson hit the post and a curling Geoff Virgil effort was expertly saved by the fingertips of Jarrett Gardner, however an Albert Montgomery freekick gave them a deserved lead going into the break. It would have seemed that the dominance would continue into the second half but a William Sinclair fluke, against the run of play, managed to squeeze its way into the bottom left hand corner - helped more by wind than skill. The tide then turned and Beckwith came close on no less than three occasions to taking the lead before a beautiful Abdiou chip gave them the three points.

Race Point 1–2 Lavington FC
P. Wisdom (85) - C. Nelson (2), A. Blackburn (44)

It's sometimes hard to imagine a Lavington side without the ever-dominant Charlie Nelson leading the front line, and the striker did nothing to silence transfer rumours after a performance that saw him give Lavington a much-needed away victory at Moody Brook. Within thirty seconds, Nelson had already left his mark on the game, forcing Liam Michaels into making a stretching save. If that was the warning shot, Race Point failed to heed it, and Nelson was back firing a volley into the bottom left hand side of the goal after Kevin Phanouel's initial corner was cleared. Nelson continued to menace the Race Point defence, and came close on a number of occasions to adding to his total before selflessly setting up Andy Blackburn on the turn of halftime to give the visitors a two goal lead going into halftime. The Lavington domination of the match, whilst unexpected, was sustained, and they may have felt unlucky not to have added to their lead. A late consolation goal from Peter Wisdom should not detract from what was ultimately the best Lavington performance so far.

FC Chippenham 0–1 Gorgona United
A. Quickley (45+1)

If Lavington recorded their best performance of the season thus far on Saturday, Chippenham recorded one of their worst and were embarrassed at home by a Gorgona United side who were themselves subpar. In contrast with Charlie Nelson troubling Race Point constantly throughout the first half for Lavington, Chippenham barely managed to test Luis Barton - the only shot on target in the first forty-five minutes was a long range effort by Zach Bone that never really threatened to go in. If Chippenham thought they could go into halftime with the scores deadlocked, they were sadly mistaken due to a breaking counter attack from Gorgona United which culminated in Adam Quickley tapping home to give Gorgona a lead. Those desiring a better second half (which, lets face it, was pretty much everyone) were left disappointed as Chippenham struggled to find their mojo whilst Gorgona seemed unwilling to risk their narrow lead, resulting in a one-nil victory, and a bitter taste in the mouth of supporters and neutrals alike.

Silver Six

Salvador FC 1–2 Port Highsthorpe Sailors
Calne Town 2–4 Henrikson Island FC
Kensingtea Legacy 2–1 Setter Trinity

Supplementary Six

Lessay Athletic 3–2 Ansosa City Thunder
Wells FC 1–0 Ackland New Saints
Sandison Province 1–2 FC Kongliege

SARILEAGUE CUP - SEMI FINAL (FIRST LEG)

Lavington FC 3–1 Beckwith City
FC Chippenham 2–1 Gorgona United

MATCHDAY EIGHT

Super Six

Beckwith City 5–0 FC Chippenham
F. Park (12), Abdiou (31, 67, 88), L. Dyson (71)

Chippenham and Beckwith had two very different experiences in the cup-break, they also had to very different responses. Beckwith looked fired up, ready to set the record straight and continue their push for the league title. Chippenham, by contrast, looked complacent; they weren't by the time the final whistle was blown. Abdiou, the Man of the Match by a country mile, set the tone for the game after hitting the post within just three minutes. It wasn't long before that pressure was converted into goals, with defensive-minded-midfielder Francis Park scoring a rare goal following a corner, Abdiou added one from the spot shortly after to give the home-team a two goal lead going into halftime. Chippenham seemed more equipped to deal with the Beckwith threat in the second half - that is, until Abdiou slipped Ty Seargent to set up a one-on-one with the keeper, which he naturally tucked away. A Leo Dyson freekick quickly followed before Abdiou completed his hattrick with a poachers effort in the eighty-eighth minute to utterly humiliate FC Chippenham.

Gorgona United 2–1 Race Point
H. Webb (23), T. Forrest (90+1) - J. Yap (57)

Gorgona became the only side who can deny Beckwith the Super Six title following a late victory in Kensingtea. Despite being the better team throughout, Race Point fell foul of two deadly counter attacks and a park-the-bus strategy. The first such counter attack came after a Harry King clearance. Before Race Point knew what had hit them, half the Race Point side had descended on their penalty area leaving Herodeus Webb to convert after Adam Quickley's initial effort was saved. Race Point continued to attack against what was beginning to look like an impenetrable United defence, and it wasn't until Matt Corrigan brought Neil Hammeldon in the box - which resulted in an expertly taken penelty kick from Jeremy Yap - that Race Point drew level. Pushing forward for a winner, Race Point were again caught out on the counter with substitute Travis Forrest sticking the knife in to give Gorgona victory.

Lavington FC 0–2 Marlborough Royals
Z. Simpson (62), B. Little (65)

There isn't a mother alive who hasn't loudly exclaimed the words "life isn't fair", and it's a lesson re-learnt by Lavington FC at the Matterhorn on Sunday afternoon. Despite a stellar performance by the homeside and a dire one by the Royals, it was Marlborough who walked away victorious. If Lady Luck was not to thank, it was perhaps Felix Shaw. The Marlborough keeper put in a fine performance between the sticks that prevented even the ever-reliable Charlie Nelson from converting continuing momentum and dominance into goals. That still doesn't explain, however, the fact that Marlborough walked away with a two goal victory - goals from Zach Simpson and Bradley little both came against the run of play and shocked even the most ardent of Marlborough supporters. Final score - two-nil. Somehow.

Silver Six

Port Highsthorpe Sailors 1–1 Kensingtea Legacy
Setter Trinity 1–0 Calne Town
Henrikson Island FC 0–1 Salvador FC

Supplementary Six

Ansosa City Thunder 4–1 Sandison Province
FC Kongliege 1–2 Wells FC
Ackland New Saints 1–0 Lessay Athletic

MATCHDAY NINE

Super Six

Lavington FC 2–2 Beckwith City
C. Nelson (69), C. Goodwin (81) - Abdiou (15), A. Swindlehurst (48)

To take the Super Six title home with a match in-hand Beckwith needed either a win or a draw, and a loss for Gorgona in the later Saturday kick-off. Naturally, Beckwith wanted the victory, and went out all guns blazing, overwhelming the Lavington defence on a number of occasions, culminating in Abdiou opening the scoring. Buyed on, the Beckwith front three continued to threaten and will have felt unlucky to gone into the break only one up. This soon changed, however, with a beautiful Andrew Swindlehurst half volley nestling into the bottom right hand corner, prompting chants of "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" by the away crowd. They spoke too soon, however, and it wasn't long until Charlie Nelson pulled one back in a wonderful solo effort before a Charles Goodwin freekick in the last 10 minutes brought the home supporters to their feet, and left the away supporters red faced.

Marlborough Royals 3–2 Gorgona United
E. Harman (7), J. Brock (12), B. Little (29) - B. Sanford (41), M. Corrigan (52)

There were perhaps more Beckwith City fans glued to their screens than supporters of the Royals and United, and when Marlborough started to rack up goals you could feel their excitement. First came Emmett Harman, with a sliding effort in the six yard area that seemingly cannoned off everything before finally settling down in the Gorgona net. Next it was James Brock's turn, with a fine shot from 30 yards blasted in, via the underside of the cross bar. Finally, a chip from Bradley Little set off the chants of "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS" all over again (at least virtually - Chirpr was a nightmare). And then Gorgona pulled one back. Then they pulled another back. Then they played really bloody well. However, despite the pressure (and a few heart attacks from Beckwith fans) they couldn't level the scores, leaving Beckwith City the inaugural champions of the Super Six.

Race Point 2–3 FC Chippenham
H. Britain (29), B. Honeysett (76) - W. Rimmer (36, 79), B. Hudson (55)

Although lacking the attention of both of Saturdays games, Chippenham's visit to Moody Brook proved to be an exciting affair. Beginning slowly, the game gained pace after Will RImmer had a goal disallowed for offside. Race Point heeded the warning and it wasn't long before Henry Britain had converted a mistake from Louis Cropper into a goal. Rimmer hit back, defeating Liam Michaels in the Race Point goal in a one-on-one situation. Following halftime, a Brett Hudson diving header gave Chippenham the lead, before Ben Honeysett converted a sustained period of Race Point pressure into an equalised. It didn't last long, however, just three minutes later the ball was in the net again, with Rimmer once again scoring, giving FC Chippenham victory.

Silver Six

Henrikson Island FC 1–0 Port Highsthorpe Sailors
Salvador FC 0–1 Setter Trinity
Calne Town 2–2 Kensingtea Legacy

Supplementary Six

Ackland New Saints 0–1 Ansosa City Thunder
Lessay Athletic 1–0 FC Kongliege
Wells FC 3–1 Sandison Province

SARILEAGUE CUP - THIRD ROUND (SECOND LEG)

Beckwith City 2–0 Lavington FC (3-3, Beckwith City advance on away goals)
Gorgona United 0–1 FC Chippenham (1-3)

MATCHDAY TEN

Super Six

Beckwith City 0–2 Race Point
B. Honeysett (30), P. Wisdom (83)

Race Point denied Beckwith a chance to celebrate their league victory, but booked their place in the Globe Cup after a stunning victory at the Beckwith Memorial Stadium. Beckwith started off like a team who deserved to win the league, and came close to starting the scoring with Abdiou's solo effort being thwarted by the post. Ben Honeysett then went against the tide of play to tap home for Race Point. This turned the momentum in Race Points favour, and they came close to scoring on a number of occasions before Peter Wisdom finally dug the knife in to guarantee Race Point's victory.

FC Chippenham 3–1 Marlborough Royals
W. Rimmer (17, 52, 79) - R. Athaliah (2)

Will Rimmer continued his good form of late with a hat-trick that ensured Richard Athaliah's early goal did not turn into something more. Athaliah scored with his first touch of the game, in a goal that came off his shin more than his foot. But it was Will Rimmer who stole the show, first scoring a header on 17 minutes before giving his side the lead shortly after halftime with a beautiful chip over Felix Shaw - no mean feat given the 6'5 stature of the Marlborough keeper. Rimmer completed his hattrick shortly before the eighty minute mark, poaching on a ball left loose after a save by Shaw.

Gorgona United 0–2 Lavington FC
C. Nelson (55, 68)

Charlie Nelson condemned Gorgona to the Silver Six after two goals in thirteen minutes that confirmed his status as the league's premier marksman. Despite the result, it was Gorgona who started off the brightest with opportunities from Adam Quickley, Josh Guy and Travis Forrest all coming close to giving them the lead. However, when Nelson found his stride in the second half he was unstoppable - first scoring after muscling his way through the Gorgona defence before scoring an exquisite scissor kick in what was one of the finest goals all season, and kept Lavington in the Super Six - on goals scored.

Silver Six

Port Highsthorpe Sailors 0–0 Calne Town
Kensingtea Legacy 1–1 Salvador FC
Setter Trinity 0–0 Henrikson Island FC

Supplementary Six

Ansosa City Thunder 3–1 Wells FC
Sandison Province 2–2 Lessay Athletic
FC Kongliege 1–0 Ackland New Saints

UICA PARTNERSHIP BID

Image

There isn't anyone under the age of thirty in The Sarian who hasn't heard of Euterpe; there aren't many over the age of thirty who have heard of the music streaming service. Founded just 5 years ago, the company has gone from strength to strength, offering users unlimited access to an expansive catalogue in music that includes some of the biggest names, such as Luis Black, Vidi and recent WorldVision winner, Harriet Engels.

The Company is the perfect fit for the Youth Cup, given it's user base and the scholarship fund it has, offering performance art scholarships to up to 20 students in The Sarian to any of the top performing art universities in the federation - including the highly prestigious University of Kensingtea, which is constantly ranked amongst the top in Esportiva. Euterpe hopes to expand this to include nationals from around the Multiverse in the near future, a goal made easier by becoming the Youth Cup official partner.

The Sarian (TSA) Final Site Bid

Globe Cup - The Matterhorn, Lavington (68,300)
Image

One of the most easily recognizable stadiums in The Sarian, The Matterhorn is a crowning jewel in the capital city of Lavington. It's current tenants are Lavington FC - a newly found club that unified the multiple Lavington based teams that populated the former Sarian Super League. Given it's large capacity and imposing stature, The Matterhorn was the natural home for the new club. It's central location in the capital city has seen it used for a number of sporting events in the past - including hosting games of the 57th Baptism of Fire and even hosting Sarian international games in the wake of the Lavington Park disaster.

Designed by Gigi Marconi, and erected in 2156 (ASSRPT), the stadium stands in contrast to the typical frugality of the period. This uniqueness has lead to the Sarian Historical Building and Architectural Society giving it it's highest Golden Ribbon status, which gives the stadium extra funding through taxpayer grants, which in recent years has lead to the opening of the free-to-visit Lavington Football Museum in the stadium - which will host a special UICA exhibition if the stadium is granted hosting rights.

The City of Lavington is no stranger to traveling fans, and is more than prepared to cope with the influx of supporters for the final. Travel to the stadium takes less than 25 minutes from the King Johannes-Lavington International Airport on the Lavington Overground, and, like with all times the stadium has hosted international events, will run a direct train from the airport to the stadium. Additionally, the national flag carrier, SariAir will renew the offer it made on previous times Sari stadia have hosted UICA finals and offer half-price air-tickets to those attending the final, on the belief that money should be no object to ones love of football.

Media Cup Review
Placing: 1st - Garry's Mod FC 2nd - Undertale FC 3rd - Runescape SC 4th - Spongebob FC

Overachievers: Undertale FC. They were concidered the underdogs and no one gave them a prayer once they drew favourites, Eddsworld FC. Having a hard fought battle in both stadiums, But luck struck them to win the tie by away goals, causing the shock dubbed "Away Goalgate". In the quarter-finals, they went on to easily dispose FNAF FC, and shocked the Media World when they made it to the final by winning 6-0 in aggregate to Spongebob FC. It was a final to forget, however, as they got demolished 5-0.

Underachievers: Eddsworld FC - Team Fortress FC. Eddsworld FC was concidered the favourite to lift the Media Cup, they were expected to walkover Untertale FC, specially after Eddsworld FC won 2-0 in the League. However, a previous 1-1 draw was indicating towards a shock. Eddsworld FC fans had the shock when a late minute goal winner by Sans gave Undertale FC the gateway to the Quarter-Finals on away goals, in a incident regarded as Away Goalgate and would eventually fall behind rivals, Bumming Crew FC. Team Fortress FC were given a easy task of clearing FNAF FC, even after in the league, Team Fortress FC lost both times. However a 2-0 goal loss in the first league was a bad result for Team Fortress FC, they scored first against FNAF FC, however, they couldn't come back in the aggregate, and lost 3-1.

Noticable Matches: Eddsworld FC 3-3 Undertale FC "Away Goalgate" - SC Minecraft 0-7 Apple FC (Biggest Aggregate in the Cup: 1-9 to Apple FC) - Garry's Mod 2-1 Bumming Crew FC (Garry's Mod was Behind 2-3 on aggregate when Bumming Crew FC scored)

Red Cards
Eduardo (45+1), Tom (67'), Tord (90+2') - Undyne (78')
Other Events:
Edd+ (47') - None

Match events:
The match started quickly, as Edd scored a goal in 15 minutes, as his plan of running fowards after kick-off so that Tom can cross the ball towards him worked a treat, he would then steal the show in a amazing dash which gave him the goal in the 23rd minute. However, Eduardo got his first yellow card by handballing from a corner, the penalty was given to Undertale FC, but Sans was unable to convert the penalty. Tom then quickly capitalised from a Frisk backpass by intersecting it and scoring Eddsworld's 3rd goal.
However, with half time looming, Papyrus was on a run, which gave Undertale FC a chance for a goal, however, Eduardo mis-timed his sliding tackle and ended up getting none of the ball. However, on the way to argue with the ref which already had his red card out, Tord elbowed Undyne to make his way to the scene, he was quickly attacked by Sans and others as the referee tried to calm things down, Tom and Edd quickly joined in to defend Tord and Matt as Matt was suprise attacked by the Undertale FC goalkeeper. The referee ended up booking Eduardo, Tord, Tom, Edd, Undyne, Sans and Frisk in 2 minutes. As the second half began, the Eddsworld FC captain, Edd recieved a injury after a tackle from Undyne went wrong, Undyne escaped the incident without recieving another yellow card. After a corner, Matt tried to get to the ball, but missed the ball as he accidentally kicked Sans in the face (Skull? What is it?). Matt was booked and a free kick was given, which Papyrus converted succesfully. Eddsworld FC were mostly in control of the game, only event untill the 80th minute was a Tom yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Papyrus spotted a gap in the Eddsworld defence, and decided to shoot from afar, which made it's way to the back of the net. Undertale FC was having a comeback and only needed one goal to go through in away goals, and a mistimed Tord tackle gave them the chance, Tord picked up his second yellow card and was dismissed. Sans took the free kick and broke the hearts of Eddsworld FC fans, giving Undertale FC a comeback and the passage to the Quarter-Finals.

Final League Table

Main news of the season

Image

Ganton celebrates the first trip to the first division,a historical promotion indeed, with a great campaign and good investments from local enterprises.Spearheaded by Carl Johnson with your technical capacity and a great view of the field, with the goalie capacity from the Audioslavian Charles Encinas and the hability of the Quebecois Crazy Guayabalense,Zurutuza and Obstnimelder garantee a security in the midfield.
Image

Celebrations and Ganton GrünPark, one of the most famous places at Ganton's region.

This can be a real good new to Patronaux Leagues,It will be an added attraction to show the league offers at all times, without exception, the need to compete in the título.Certainly will attract new sponsors to smaller teams. And it will require the richest clubs to better manage their million-reais funds.

Image

The Strip is the new champion of the major league of Rotschwarzland, the Patronaux League 1.,the team have three national team players : Hargreaves,Van der Héensen and Defour, but the team isn't loaded by only three players, but the strong point of the team is the collective and tactical strongness, and this season, the home field made difference to this team and in the final fixture against Bluebéhrry Cavaliers,in a real decision with the two teams fighting for the title,a great atmosphere lead The Strip to a win in the minute 90' +2 made by Sahin Arsenio,a Zenic player that gained the confidence of Strip fans in this season, the stadium turned crazy and after this goal and the end of the game a couple of flares had been showned, the celebration continued in one of the most famous places at The Strip : StripTurm.
Image

Defender is an act to contain the opponent and prevent it reaches the goal. And the team is organized for it with 2 lines of 4, few spaces between the players and zonal marking: all have an industry that should take off the ball. The focus is the space, not the player.
Image

Everyone is with the body facing side of the ball. This is a key detail: facilitates the movement of running toward a target. The strip is fan of intense pressure on the ball: Players run together towards the opponent with possession, preventing it touch and facilitating recovery.

Image

Hashbury, the prodigy team, one average team that always was considered a talented team that could put difficulty to the giants (teams that generally have higher cash collection and more famous players),and the philosophy of the team was always mount teams with players created and developed from junior categories.
Image

But the team faced the relegation, made a bad start, brought a new coach and football style, had immediate results, good draws and wins, ran away from the relegation zone, but the team was so instable in this season, that the bad results came back and Hashbury returned to the dark place and this was the destiny, now the club will need to play the second division.A time for reconstruction, the team have one foreigner : the Osarian Zoe Barnes and have a national team newcomer player Nicolas Ferreth.

Image

Port Tudor, today celebrated the title of the 2nd division and their first promotion to first division as well as the teams that fought with Tudor until the end for the trophy : Ganton and Easter Redinxson. The team was champion with the same points quantity as Ganton but with only three goals for more than the greenish rival, making an average start of league but with a huge tactical work, the team growned and became better and better with the past of fixture, fast went up from the middle of the table to the top four and then, the top two, battling with Ganton.
Image

Couple of flares in Tudor's celebration.

The team have one NTer,Farias, one of the reserve goalkeeper of the national team,a Polaaskan veteran player,Heiko Blonqvist, and four young talents : the Quebecois Sitting Valladar and the Audioslavian Arcila that received many chances in the season and made a talent and good defensive squad, the two others are Sunrisian came from Equestrian States P90 Arthur Schiavone, and,Adrian Cruz, from the same places, but these two hadn't received many chances, probably Cruz will receive much more chances in the next season,Schiavone had a injury in the start of the season and was replaced by Friederike.

Image

Easter Redinxson probably not gave a happy day to West Redinxson fans (Easter's main rival and the team that them make the local derby). The team will be a part of first division teams in the Season 8 of RB leagues,a hard draw with the other promoted team and champions Port Tudor and a draw from Las Colinas with a team a lot lower placed than Port Tudor : Vaslui, gave the permission for the yellow ones makes the trip to the elite division. The team always attended at the top of the table,in the middle went down a bit but with the support of your fans and Ultras as well with the willpower from the players, that is one of strongest points of the squad, the bravure in the field and a huge disposal to make strong markation lines, recovered in the time for reach in the promotion zone.
Image

Easter Redinxson's crest.

The team don't have national team players, but someones that can be in the main squad in the future, like Smasser,Frogkreutz and Petatz, talented players and all the three are so much agile in their areas,a great view of the field, very good capacity to score, specially Petatz a defensive midfielders that probably you won't see it much today,as well as other talented player came from the house of young players,Hashbury, and he is Geuvanio Krusevitter, probably will have chances in the next season.Easter have three foreigners and all are Semars : the reserve goalkeeper Peter Rasmussen, one of reserve strikers/offensive wingers Casper Lindgren and the 11-initial team player Amos Poyet.

Red Blackiland (RED) qualifiers
Champions’ Cup: The Strip
Globe Cup: Montgomery,Bluebéhrry Cavaliers,Ferentásctvaros
Series B Champions Cup: Port Tudor,Ganton,Easter Redinxson

Red Blackiland (RED) final site bids
Champions’ Cup: Montgomery Sports Park Stadium,Montgomery,Redinxson (capacity 69,250)
One of the largest stadium in Red Blackiland,it is home for Montgomery A.S,the actual runnerup of the first division. This stadium has a curiosity : one technology that allow half of the field ground raise and slide above the other half in less than four hours, actually two hours and 50 minutes, after it,we have a second lower floor and seats surrounding it for matches of other sports that needs other type of stadiums, like Handball or Basketball. It's famous as ''Der Riesefriedhof'' or ''The cemetery of giants'' by the fact that Montgomery always had a good history and decided important matches against bigger teams at home.A future project is in progress to make a top roof above and a retractable roof in future.

Anglatia (ANG) qualifiers
Champions’ Cup: Ross United
Globe Cup: Athletic Sungri, Underfell FC, Calovice Sporting
Series B Champions Cup: AC Ferraria, South Valeria FC, Mjasa City

Imperial Superleague Update: Brought to you by Voltage Sports

Midway through the season, Ross United are who we thought they were. The Schraeder twins were a sensation in Armeia and Flardania, but they've performed even better for RUFC, who have taken the league by storm. The identical twins are partners in the attacking third as right striker and center fielder, and Bianka is on pace for a second 30+ goal season, after leading her team and league in scoring last season before joining the champions. Underfell is another very good team, and after qualifying for the Globe Cup this season, they're in the hunt for a major title this season, whether it's the League or the Imperial Cup. The rest of the season will certainly be exciting, with the Imperial Cup starting soon.
THE EMPIRE OF GREATER ANGLATIA: Partially retired loner
Sports Victories: Sporting World Cup II, Beach Cup XII, Emperor's Cup I Champions and Emperor's Cup II Runner Ups, Sporting World Cup I Third Place, U15 WC 9 Third place
