I got FTL. It's hard.

FTL isn't hard it's sadistic. Something that is hard can become easier with practice. With FTL you might get better but the RNG will never cease fucking you over. One of many reasons why its among my favorite games.

Eh, I feel like blaming one's failure on the RNG is missing the point of the game. One's skills at FTL grows the more they can mitigate the effects of the RNG.

It's like XCOM: Enemy Unknown. One should never complain about missing a 99% chance to hit shot.

Skill only goes so far. The RNG will always knock you down if it thinks you're doing too well. I swear the thing is sentient.

I don't disagree with that, but he is right. Ultimately, the challenge in FTL isn't in picking the right subsystem, it's dodging when the RNG tries to kick you in the balls before you smash it in the face with a cinder block.

That's right. I am so superior that it's complex to understand, even for me. :p

Finished Dishonored in low chaos, plus the "Clean Hands" achievement.

Well, off to Knife of Dunwall.
For anyone wondering, I joined this website during my edgy teenage years. I made a lot of dumb, awkward posts, flip-flopped between various extreme ideologies, and just generally embarrassed myself. I denounce a sizable amount of my past posts. I am no longer active on NationStates and this nation/account is no longer used.

Dishonored is a very good game. Knife of Dunwall fixed what Dishonored missing, such as having a protagonist who can speak, and a refined use of powers.

EDIT: Turns out I have a "Tempest" achievement. It is the achievement where you killed 6 enemies in less than 1 second, and I am very surprised since I didn't remember any of it.

So my cities seem to kinda go to shit at about 20,000 to 30,000 people. I got two cities at this point and the traffic gets horrible, which causes problems with things like firefighters trying to get to burning buildings, garbage to places, hearses, ect, and things start to go to hell. Though this time I at least got to 20,000 people BEFORE the traffic really got horrible, instead of me just expanding like in the 30,000 one and the traffic just getting worse and worse. And I really mean worse. The traffic is horrific in that one now. It backs up across the entire bridge...

One day I will learn to make a stable city...one day...

I'm doing really good at FTL right now. Late sectors, large crew, good weapons...

I'm going to lose.

I lost after a long and hard fought battle with the flagship. Brought it down to 3 hull, but my boarding drone refused to do anything. He got down one weapon system...
but I couldn't get him anywhere else.

I ran out of missiles, then pretty much died slowly.
