In conjunction with Horvath Heavy Industries, the Commonwealth is delighted to announce that the Reclaimer Station Corporation is now accepting applications for development, effective 00:00 Yelan City time, January 1, 2300 (Standard Calendar).
:: WHAT RECLAIMER IS ::
Reclaimer is a superheavy-class space station in geostationary orbit of Yelan Prime, primary world of Yelan system in the Gamma Quadrant. It boasts forty decks, spread across two ring-format habitation modules of twenty decks each (designated A through T in each tier), comprising a total of almost forty million cubic metres volume. In additional to commercial development, Reclaimer will house educational institutions, recreational areas, upmarket residential properties, first-class environmental simulacra, and concert venues. State parties are welcome to request special development clearance.
Reclaimer is one hundred percent pre-eco-planned, and theoretically sustainable for at least one year of total isolation. Combining a highly reinforced dodecaple fusion reactor system with an efficient plan organically designed by Suskind Institute specialists, Reclaimer is able to efficiently and cheaply provide one standard gravity in all sectors at all times with no risk of failure, with extensive modification available to suit client needs. Docking facilities are available for vessels of almost every shape and size. Reclaimer is a forward-looking project for the 24th Century, aiming to become the primary commercial and transport hub in the Commonwealth zone, and to serve a cosmopolitan and international clientele.
Reclaimer serves as the terminus and counterweight of the Lux Tether, a high-capacity high-speed space elevator linking the station to Lux, capital of the McKinnon Plains region of Yelan Prime's major continent, Margreta. Lux lies on the Transcontinental Highway, and is roughly one hour by car from the Commonwealth federal capital, which lies on the continent's western seaboard.
:: WHO RECLAIMER IS ::
Reclaimer Station Corporation (RSC) oversees the running of the Station. RSC in turn is overseen primarily by the Commonwealth government and by its major joint venture partner, Horvath Heavy Industries of Suskind, along with several dozen minor partners.
RSC regulates the Station through a corps of thousands of administrative personnel, highly trained security officers, and ancillaries, an outcome of the Sinclair Administration's jobs initiative. By writ of the Commonwealth Council, Reclaimer Security enjoys some powers of – and is directly answerable to – the Commonwealth Police (COMPOL), ensuring a non-intrusive but safe and stable security climate for all. RSC is also in partnership with the Commonwealth Navy and the Suskind Security Service Ranger Division (SRD).
:: WHAT RECLAIMER IS TO YOU ::
Reclaimer Station Corporation is seeking foreign clients. Businesses and state actors of any size and purpose are encouraged to invest in Reclaimer Station volume in order to facilitate international friendship, mutual cultural integration, and possible mutually beneficial technological transfer.
In addition to commercial development of all kinds, Reclaimer also welcomes state actors. Embassy Row (located on Deck D of Alpha Tier) is designed to be a particularly promising site for state actor development, and, true to its name, welcomes embassies, consulates, and diplomatic outposts of all kinds. Please note that security personnel will be expected to cooperate with RSC and COMPOL and to observe all applicable laws and protocols, regardless of international interactions of any kind whatsoever.
Parties operating in certain specialist fields are welcome on Reclaimer Station, but with some provisos. The specialist fields in question include: adult services, pharmacies of a primarily non-medical nature, security contracting*, and small arms trade and maintenance (for a complete list of scheduled fields, see Reclaimer Station Client Code Annex #00071). Clients operating primarily in these fields are advised that optimal development sites are located in Beta Tier, in accordance with protocol agreed with joint venture partners as a condition of their support. RSC advises in addition that it is sympathetic to the sensitive nature of many of these fields, and encourages clients to remain discreet and to keep in mind that Reclaimer Station is professional and consumer-friendly.
* Security contractors are advised to remember that the Commonwealth is a party to the Geneva Conventions, and in particular the Additional Protocol of 1977, which outlaws private endeavours of an expressly military nature; conviction of such activity is considered grounds to terminate Reclaimer Station's relationship with the convicted party.

The Central Core is the sphere to which Alpha Tier and Beta Tier are attached. It contains the terminus for the Lux Tether, as well as several other maintenance and restricted interest areas.
Lux Tether
The Lux Tether runs from Reclaimer Station to Standoff Point, Lux District, about two kilometres to the south of Lux City's CBD. The standard climber for this link has an internal volume of roughly forty-five thousand cubic metres, and a maximum passenger capacity of about 1,200. Climb speed is in the area of one thousand kilometres per hour.
Commonwealth Navy docking facilities
Berths at an inclination of greater than sixty-five degrees from Reclaimer Station's equatorial plane are reserved for Navy use unless otherwise specified.
:: ALPHA TIER ::
Reclaimer Station Control
Control is the effective government of Reclaimer Station. Of the station's forty decks, it takes up two – one at each end. Under the leadership of the current Station Controller, Mary Ndebele Long, Control regulates utilities throughout the station, commands onboard security forces, provides processing power for environmental simulacra, ensures the strict observance of applicable laws and protocols, and maintains the peace.
Control's listing in Alpha Tier reflects the premises of Control North; Control South is located at the opposite end of the station, but usually functions under the executive leadership of Control North (although they are effectively identical).
Office of the Commonwealth Legate
'Legate' usually signifies the federally-appointed overseer of a Commonwealth settlement which for whatever reason does not yet have a codified government. The term serves a variety of purposes; a Legate might coordinate emergency efforts in a small town which has been rendered otherwise anarchic by a natural disaster, for example. In the case of Reclaimer Station, the Legate is considered 'at-large', functioning as a backup to Control, should one be required. Where Control needs to liaise with the Commonwealth military or field services, the Legate is empowered to do so on their behalf.
The Legate's more usual duty is to oversee customs, immigration and some amount of international diplomacy. He is empowered to conduct business with foreign ambassadors when the central government cannot provide a delegation, he is empowered to issue visas and planetside travel clearance, and generally oversees all Commonwealth functions usually required by, or required to be executed upon, visitors to Reclaimer Station.

Cerulean Hotel (entrance on Deck E)
The Cerulean is a five-star hotel located in Alpha Tier's primary simulacrum zone. A smoothly technological, upscale, cosmopolitan hotel located within a perfect reproduction of a tropical palm forest, the Cerulean provides only the most luxurious accommodation and most efficient service, day and night (which are themselves provided by cutting-edge simulation technology). The Cerulean provides cordon bleu cuisine in the best-stocked restaurant and bar in the Commonwealth (tm). Further facilities include an expansive swimming pool, and the Cerulean also functions as a venue for top-tier talent, hosting a multi-purpose performance area.
