So, NSG, what's your New Year's Resolution?

Postby Kaboomlandia » Fri Jan 01, 2016 5:06 pm

Title is the question. What's your New Year's resolution - in NS or RL?

A few of mine for 2016 are:
RL: Hopefully know which university I want to apply for and apply there.
RL: Get my Class 5 driver's license.
NS: Pass a GA resolution.
NS: Win the World Bowl.

What are yours?

None.

I'm going to be that guy and be the same brutally honest, uncaring bastard I was on 11:59 in 2015 come 2016.

Build stronger friendships with old friends that I have not stayed in touch with as much as I should.

Get my own house and a new job. These two are connected because I can't afford a house as close to Boston as I live now, and relocating to a new area will mean I need a new job.

I don't need any resolutions. I am already perfect.

You should make a resolution to stop being so self-deprecating all the time.

I grew up in a large rural family that had no such custom, and only heard about it in grammar school from the music teacher (1st or 2nd grade) as our class was learning to play the tune on the glockenspiel of the same name. I though it was a silly gesture, since resolve wasn't something to expend lightly. So I resolved never to make a New Year's resolution just because it was New Year's Day. :)
