Which ever you prefer. There a hundreds of different AR mods/derivatives out there with dozens of different versions of the basic operating system. They pretty much all work so just choose the one you think looks sexiest and don't try claiming you chose it becuase it's the bestest that will only start arguments, hate and despair

Although for maximum points go with an HK416 with a barrel and furniture from the a2.

Why not an A3 or A4?

In any event, rhe HK416 is a pretty good rifle - but you could really use either because the M27 is capable of switching mags with both

So its all gucci mane

LMT makes great guns though tbh.

I don't own any of their guns, but I have a few of their parts. No complaints.

Of course I baby that rifle. If they made parts for an AK or a G3, on the otherhand, I could go on about how I've let it roll around in the back of a truck or thrown it off a cliff or just beat the shit out of it in any situation and their parts don't break.

But instead all I can say is they look pretty and work well in no stress environments

Of that i have no doubt but since they got a couple of big anglosphere contracts its emerged that they have been quietly supplying special types for year and thus they now have a real name outside the special forces community and those more in the know.

Wiki says the AK and StG are only really similar in that they use intermediate cartridges.
