Brain surgery? What are you talking about? Why would anyone want to go through that? And what would you be correcting?

The same hypothetical technique might also be used to make religiousness history, since that is also something that's in the brains and might be considered a mental aberration that should be remedied.

All that remains is to show that biological systems replicate in such a way as to satisfy the minimal criteria required for evolution to apply to them, something which has already been adequately shown time and again. At this point, we've pretty much proven that not only can evolution happen, it pretty much must happen since it's basically impossible to prevent it from happening.

I agree. I love how people always inevitably claim its something that will be cured one day like its illness. The APA has said its not and its simply who someone is.

Couldn't agree more, but I think that if someone is a consenting adult with full mental capacity then they can make a decision to do whatever the hell they wish; no matter how stupid we think it is.

Should we ban something that not only doesn't do what its proponents claim it does but also has never caused anyone anything but harm? Gee, I don't know. Is water wet?

And how, precisely, does locking children in cages aid brain surgery research? Be specific.

Yes and i fail to to see how outlawing conversion therapy becomes an argument about freedom.

Conversion therapy has it's uses, and should be well-funded by the government.

That's not a use. Name a real use, that's actually beneficial for the recipient, and to the country as a whole.
