OUR HEADQUARTERS

The former Monetary Authority of Imperial Royal Union Headquarters at Syne Street in Port Imperial was acquired after a bidding process in which Staatsbank Imperialia paid 33 million Imperial Royale Elites for the acquisition and refurbishment of the building in 2002. The headquarters was further expanded upon, with a new skyscraper being completed and integrated into the existing structure by 2010. With over 6,200 persons working in the headquarters at Syne Street and additional 113,000 persons in employ all over the nation, Staatsbank Imperialia is able to provide extensive services within the financial sector.

The first floor of the headquarters used to be part of the bank, but after the company became publicly listed, the entire building was refurbished into the executive and administrative offices of the holdings company currently owning the bank.

Private Banking
For certain accounts, there is a certain maturity age. No withdrawals can be made to accounts that are not yet matured. This is to ensure that your money will bring back many returns for you. Any deposit made into accounts that have not matured cannot be withdrawn even if they are above the minimum deposit limit. Accounts that have matured will continue to earn that interest rate. Compounded interest will only be given at the maturity age as one whole lump sum.

Unlike all the other banks, we don’t charge penalty fees of any kind, except that we can’t give you interest since your account doesn’t have enough money to mature. Once there is enough money, the account continues to mature. We’ll never restart the entire maturity age - that’s unfair.

Account security is dependent on the type of account our customers have signed up for. Below are the categories of account security.

Category A - Only the Supreme Government of Imperial Royal Union can seize and freeze assets in said account, provided that a direct order has been issued by the Chief Justice and the Attorney-General and must be approved by the Office of the Emperor. Account information can only be accessed by company executives.

Category B - Only government agencies can investigate, seize and freeze assets in said account given proper documentation as required by our bank. Account information can only be accessed by managers and above.

Category C - Government agencies and financial institutions can investigate, seize and freeze assets in said account. All banking employees can access information stored in the account.

Our Cards
In order to own a credit or debit card, you must open a StaatsSplurge account with us. All transactions made by the credit or debit card will be charged to your StaatsSplurge account. STAATSCARD and StaatsCorp will require a corporate account of any kind before the card(s) is/are issued. Depending on the type of card, customers can choose to a set a one-time limit and a monthly limit to limit their spending.

THE STAATSBANK PAYMENT PROCESSING SYSTEM
Also, we are proud to announce a completely new payment processing system - one that is not MasterCard nor Visa. It's called Staatsbank. As a result, we've done away with the EMV chip, and in its place is a sleek black magnetic strip located at the back of the card. Simply swipe the card and authorise the transaction with your signature on a printed receipt and you're good to go. It is highly important to keep your card away from magnets - while the magnetic strip is protected, it is not completely foolproof and might spoil the card.

Only recognised by certain storefronts.Almost all specialty cards partnered with other businesses will run on Staatsbank Rewards.
StaatsCorp	Unlimited	StaatsCorp is issued to select corporations to ease their everyday transactions. It is a debit card that deducts the amount straight off your company’s selected account.
STAATSCARD	Unlimited	STAATSCARD is a credit card given only to state organisations and specifically ministries. Every time a transaction is made, our system will send an email notification to your state’s finance ministry’s equivalent to inform you of state expenditure. While each department may receive its own card, the transactions made by the cards will be charged to the finance department of that nation.

Monthly Limits for the StaatsTAP can be altered up to NSD 8,000. One-Time Limits for the StaatsTAP cannot exceed NSD 500. StaatsTAP will not proceed with the transaction if there are a lack of funds in your designated account.

Our corporate services don’t just include saving money with us, we believe that we can help you calculate your assets, provide auditing services, and most importantly, keep your money safe. In order to open an account, the government of your company's nation of origin must recognise your company as a legitimate business. State-owned enterprises and sovereign wealth funds can skip the above process and proceed to open an account with us when they are ready.

CORPORATE REVIEW & FINANCE AUDITING

From time to time, Staatsbank Imperialia will compile a report that includes the financial situations of companies and businesses that have registered corporate accounts with us. The report will include credit ratings as well as other indicators as to how well the company is doing and potential problems from the current business model, as well as looking at market share. The report will also indicate suspected attempts at copying by other competitors. The report will maintain the private and confidential information of each business at all costs and will not leak such information to the general public. If you feel that critical information has been leaked by us, please contact our General Counsel immediately.

CREDIT RATINGS
Aside from the usual things we do, we also give credit ratings. Credit ratings are assessed from a wide range of criteria, and will be reviewed over time for companies that we have already rated. Governments can also receive credit ratings.

   Creditworthiness is perfect. All financial commitments will be met.
2. AA-
   Creditworthiness is excellent. Almost all financial commitments will be met easily.
3. BB+
   Creditworthiness is very good. Some financial commitments will be met with some difficulty.

   Creditworthiness is good. A number of financial commitments will be met with some difficulty.
5. CC
   Creditworthiness is mediocre. Almost all financial commitments will be met with some difficulty.
6. DD
   Creditworthiness is poor. There is a high level of difficulty to commit financially.
7. EE
   Creditworthiness is extremely poor. There is an extremely high level of difficulty to commit financially.
8. FF
   There is absolutely no creditworthiness. Entity is bankrupt and unable to commit financially.

Loans
Loans are essential to help small companies grow and help our consumers spend on larger things they have yet to be able to afford. We also offer numerous options for repayment; if you are still unable to pay, we will find some way to make you pay, but rest assured we won’t resort to violence. Let us do business the civilised way.

In order to take a loan from us, you must at least have opened any savings account with us. Otherwise, we won't know where to put the money we are lending to you - we don't intend to give cash over the counter for loans.

Fiscal Funds Loans are only authorised in times of financial crisis. Our Fiscal Funds Loan is there to ensure companies and governments get the extra capital to survive and grow, and thus be able to recover. We’ll only worry about repayment after 3 years.

Let us be honest with you. We don’t do insurance. Insurance implies that something bad will happen. And we don’t want to be the bearer of bad news. Yet we do guarantee, that on our storefront, the only thing you are insured against is insurance. Plus, insurance often gets people tangled up in legal battles. StaatsCheque
StaatsCheque is a new transaction model created by Staatsbank Imperialia to update existing accounts. Realising that some organisations are not too happy about using credit or debit cards, StaatsCheque was designed to give these organisations peace of mind when authorising transactions. The process is longer but safer as Staatsbank Imperialia is now required to cross-check and authenticate the validity of the transaction. StaatsCheque is offered as StaatsCheque International for transactions in NationStates Dollars and as StaatsCheque Regional for transactions in Recon Dollars or Imperial Royale Elites. StaatsCheque is only available to accounts listed under "Corporate Finance".

HOW STAATSCHEQUE WORKS

If your organisation is paying another organisation for purchases of goods, services, stocks and bonds through the use of the funds deposited in the savings accounts you have opened with us, you can pay by StaatsCheque. Kindly fill up the "Authorise A StaatsCheque Transaction" form in the "Applications" section to the best of your knowledge and you are done.

If your organisation is paying another organisation for purchases of goods, services, stocks and bonds through the use of funds NOT deposited in the savings accounts you have opened with us, then you do not need to do anything, which really does not add much into roleplay. Perhaps the next time you purchase something, you may want to look for us?

If, in the rare occasion that your account runs out of funds, StaatsCheque will bounce, and the payee shall be notified on their storefront that the transaction was not successful and you will be notified to deposit more funds into your account. After doing so you can make payment again, or you could just pay via the funds you have on hand without touching the funds in the savings account that you have opened with us.

WHY SHOULD I USE STAATSCHEQUE?

Two reasons. If you think that the application you have filed for any purchase looks "unsubstantial" (depends on you), you could decide to beef it up with a banner we'll provide to inform the storefront owner of how the purchase will be paid. As for the other reason, it is about the roleplay.

PAYMENT NOTIFICATION

If you've gotten this far in reading what StaatsCheque is all about, congratulations, this is the last point. Again, for the sake of roleplay, there is a need to notify Staatsbank Imperialia. Why? Because there will be changes to the funds in your account. When paying with StaatsCheque, the notification is the application form which you have submitted to "Authorise A StaatsCheque Transaction".

Interest Rates Review
