It was popular a decade ago being a very returning source of energy, but has generally died down in popularity and view due to concerns over radioactive waste. Seculartopia and its Government takes on a cautious stance towards Nuclear Energy, seeing it as not as much of a green fuel as commonly stated and advertised, although we aren't staunchly against it.

It has come to the attention of the Encyclopedia Management staff that a spelling error in the title of this important Seculartopian factbook occurred. Due to an unforeseeable series of events completely unrelated to the literacy and spelling skills of our writers, the title was mistakenly misspelled. The correction on the digital copy has been made, and we will provide masking tape and sharpies to correct more paper-based copies.

Ah, the Dictator-President conniption.

One thing you will find about Seculartopians is they enjoy Satire and Parody. Our Founder simply humorously stuck the name saying "More power than a President, Less than a Dictator" jokingly due to the fact that Seculartopia's Secular Directory System is based around the people electing the D-P to best set up the government on their behalf, instead of the other way around with the Legislature.

Which is untrue, since the people actually directly elect the persons in the Cabinet, the D-P selects a candidate from each party (Parties are meaningless and symbolic), and the People vote to approve which one wins.

The people can also out the D-P or a Cabinet Member at any time via petition.

The Lowest Recorded Temperature was -45.5 degrees Celsius, or -50 Degrees Fahrenheit, during the Great Winter of 1845. It was again recorded at the Cape of Frozen Scapes, the northernmost in Seculartopia, during September of 1922.

The Highest Recorded Temperature was actually recorded just a month ago, with temperatures actually reaching 27.2 Degrees Celsius, or 81 Degrees Fahrenheit.

Truthfully, we should install more temperature rating scales at Cape of Frozen Scapes or the very northern tier of Seculartopia where its iced all year round- unconfirmed reports have gone into negative three digits.

Your highest recorded temperature is lower than our lowest average temperature.

Next question:

Really? Well, I guess that does come with the territory.

The exact solid policy on this isn't really solid, as it's only happened once with the extremely unpopular Isaac Numertiy.

Accepted is in the range of 18-20+% of the Population, (~ 300/500 Million People). Numertiy received 35% of the Population's signature.

That takes balls, and you've got them.

All was dark when the armies surrounded the town. There was little bloodshed as they swept in, and they quickly took control. "Success," said a communicator, "a base has been established."

Fireplaces themselves are a regular occurrence, or at least some sort of fire-pit within a dwelling.

Seculartopians consider it logical to have a backup in the city in case of an emergency, although they are environmentally conscious enough as well as warm-natured enough to not want to use said fireplaces for heating, concurring towards more controlled means by heating.

In the Tundra especially, its practically the method of heating, that an this ingenious little ancient water heating method that ends up heating water in the insulative walls of the house, and using a knob system to regulate the angle of the sun's reflection.
