Issues like that are usually small browser-related glitches. Try restarting your browser, that should usually fix the issue.

So, we have, once again used up all the disk space. We have been running on dry for the past several days and that's why there have been hiccups. I have, once again, deleted temp files (thumbnails to be precise, so some page load times may be a bit longer on the first load if they are image-heavy, but should be fine after the first load attempt). We will have to upgrade the server once again, I'll keep you posted on the details. This one may require a little bit more downtime than usual since I am planning on switching datacenters, but hopefully should be a breeze. I am also thinking about installing google ads (like NS's) on the sidebar to cover the server costs of IIwiki, but still mulling that over.

Once again, thank you all!

In case Virana's suggestion doesn't work (but it should), I get this issue sometimes as well after a downtime of longer than a minute or two.

Select "Log In" and on that page hit "CTRL+F5." This will do a page-specific cache clear. It should work after that.

Thanks for the tip guys. ;) It appeared that the issue was actually relating to how the site goes up and down.

Is the weird Property: Vessel Class thing meant to be like that? How do I fix it? It looks ugly.

How the heck do I create a Nation page? Or any page for that matter?

You need to have an account, then on the front page is a bar where you can enter the name of the article you want to create and then press Create Page.

I'll look into it. Looks like it's probably a transclusion problem caused by the template attempting to call-up a list of known vessel classes from when it was on Wikipedia, and IIwiki doesn't have that page or module installed.

Follow the instructions as Maltropia advised after reviewing the IIwiki Standards and Conventions. Once you have entered an article name and begun creating one, copy and paste the nation infobox into the article and begin filling in the information as you develop. Also do not forget to type "{{WIP}}" at the top of your page, indicating it is a work-in-progress. Also, be sure to categorize your page properly, to include (at minimum) "[[Category:Your Nation's Name]]" and the appropriate tech-level category ("[[Category:MT]]," "[[Category:FT]]," etc.) at the bottom of the article. Once this is done, simply hit "Submit" at the bottom of the article editor and it will publish your page; you can continue editing that page at any time from a tab on it on the upper, right-hand portion of the page.

Also, this thread is now considered defunct; a new forum thread (with an active OP and the host himself) can be found here.

It looks like IIwiki has stopped showing WikiCommons images.

Already reported thrice in the current, non-defunct thread:
Maltropia wrote:Commons images seem to be malfunctioning again, for whatever reason, e.g. here and here.
Michillies wrote:Wikimedia Commons images have stopped showing up on IIwiki, at least on Firefox on Windows 7. And Chrome on Windows 7. And Firefox on Android. And Chrome on Android.

Victoriala wrote:Big problem: most (if not all) of our Wikicommons images are gone.

And Solm already knows:

Hmm. That's very strange. I did absolutely nothing. I will have to investigate this further. My first assumption is that something changed on the Mediawiki commons backend and I have to then change some settings on the server to accommodate, because the current server settings loaded the images fine yesterday but for whatever reason they do not seem to be loading now. I will let you know when I figure out what is wrong.

How does one make arrows appear on the Gini index and HDI index, in the infobox of nations?

Add these entries to the infobox's code.

|Gini_change = (increase/decrease)
|HDI_change = (increase/decrease)

It seems to be working now, regardless. It could just be that the page's cache took a while to update to the correct version after you put it in. Sometimes, a hard refresh at your end (Ctrl+F5) will fix that visual glitch. Other times you may want to try purging the cache manually (by adding ?action=purge to the end of the URL), but generally a short wait will see it cleared up.

EDIT: Also, this is the dead thread. This isn't.
