It makes no sense to go by the gameplay population because of the inflated statistics, so we put ours at a more realistic 105 million.

around 758 million which is down from 770 million in 2000. the height in population was in 1940, with 1.985 billion people over 1.205 million miles or roughly 1,600 people per mile.
today it is 580 people per square mile which has grown to 1.306 million miles.

There are at least as many Decepticons as it says in the gameplay statistics, which, IIRC, is around 15 billion currently. We are an interplanetary empire, after all. Robots don't die off after a certain age, either, so there is no constant significant downward pressure on our numbers.

In fact, it might make more sense for there to be trillions of us by now. Alas, OOCly, I don't want to have to do math every time a question like this comes up. It's just easier to go with whatever's on the nation page for most things.

Citizens and permanent residents together number about 67 million (don't look at the NS stats, thank you). Murajin ("foreigners"), most of them expats living at the major port cities of Tei (also its entertainment capital), Tsuru, and Mizumori and the Asunaro archipelago, as well as pilgrims residing in the main religious city of Hakurei as well as numerous pilgrimage sites along the slopes of Aihayama, make up another seven and a half million.

The US is only 40% smaller than antarctica, and the US has only ~400 million. What you are saying is that you would have, *Ahem*, About 37,500 times the population for only 40% more land, and about 2,142 times the population of the entire world but containing only 1/27 of the entire world's area. I think you may have gotten your math wrong somewhere down the line...
