As a proud sporting nation of 52 million, we have made close bonds with nations within the regions of Rushmore, Atlantian Oceania and Esportiva, but now is the time for that to change. In the pursuit of economic liberalisation and international cooperation throughout the multiverse, the Electrum Diplomatic Offices will be opening its doors for the first time to the greater multiverse in the pursuit of greater diplomacy and friendship between nations. This is a new chapter in Electrum's international relations, and we hope the greater multiverse will support us in this journey.

General Information
Electrum is a medium-sized sporting nation in the region of Rushmore. It is a country bordered by Eura to the North and Rhodesiah to the West. It also has an enclave of Junin, Valladares. It is a highly developed country specializing in technology, commerce and culture. It's capital city is Centralis. Other major centres include Port Grenville, Prescott, Hamilton and Agri.

The currency is the Synergy, a card based currency which is entirely digitalised. For those seeking to use the normal paper money, Universal Standard Dollars could be used instead, but it is recommended to get these cards which is very easily stolen but also very convenient to use. In general, the laws of Electrum are generally relaxed, with restrictions on the most serious of crimes as well as bans on smoking in certain areas and banning of 'hard' drugs only, though drugs are banned at the border for fear of breaking international rules. Electrum is also an anti-gun nation so all guns will need to be given up at the border -- lest they face criminal imprisonment in Electrum.... for more information, see here

City Information
Centralis
Centralis is at the heart of the nation and is known throughout Electrum for its cosmopolitan and multicultural scene. The people there are kind to all and are always willing to have a chat and talk sports. Located in the middle of Electrum, it was chosen to be the capital city of both the entire nation as well as the province of Greater Centralis. All embassies must be situated in Centralis.

Prescott
Prescott is situated to the immediate west of Centralis, in the highlands of Electrum and is fairly cool, given it's high altitude. Temperatures can go below freezing point at times. Prescott is in the Frontier Mountain Range and is a few dozen kilometers near Electrum's highest point, Mt. Picana where mountaineers are free to explore up the mountain, and is the place of wide-ranging resorts offering ski-lounges to all sorts of extreme winter sports. It is Electrum's second largest city.
Focus: Tourism

Hamilton
Electrum's third largest city, Hamilton is situated to the north of Centralis and is situated on the edge of the Great Sandy Desert. Hamilton has a very hot climate, with temperatures rising to 35 degrees daily. The sun is very harsh, owing to the desert and is often subject to sandstorms. Hamilton is a mining hub where there are a lot of mining operations (for uranium, gold and silver), where the mining industry is very, very wealthy.

Agri
Agri is situated in a rainy and wet area in the northern-north eastern parts of Electrum -- it is one of the poorer cities of Electrum. As obviously stated in the name, it is the agricutural capital of Electrum, situated in a delta region. As such, it is referred to as Electrum's foodbowl.

Rules for Embassy Staff

• All diplomats must abide by Customs Electrum rules regarding the importation of goods of services, with all goods being prohibited from being on passenger service being unavailable to be imported to Electrum under any circumstances
• Due to strict gun control laws, only authorised security guards may have access to weapons, and none may be imported from overseas. All will be issued by Electrum.
• For diplomatic immunity, all acts done in an official capacity may not be interfered with, including, but not limited to prosecution, arrests, and other legal procedures. Only ambassadors may not be arrested, all other staff can be arrested for crimes that are not done in an official capacity. Judges are instructed to count international diplomacy as a mitigating factor in trials.
• The following services will be provided: Six security guards to be deployed at the entrance of each embassy, and two free complementary diplomatic cars. Six more cars may be imported, but none must be of military quality.
• An unlimited number of staff may be hired, provided that they can be hired locally. The ambassador and other national staff may either reside on embassy grounds or off site.
• An embassy must be established in Electrum's capital, Centralis, with consulate status being given to the other cities of Electrum.
