Is the best you can do is resort to middle school levels of arguments? All I see there is you singing "Big Jim and hi gun sitting in a tree, k I s s I n g." Gun ownership rates are lower now than they've ever been, the guns are just consolidated in fewer hands. You've already disarmed most ofthe law abiding urban Americans, and yet where does the overwhelming majority of gun crime happen? Urban areas. Guns do not cause gun crime any more than stoves cause cannibalism.
There are bigger issues at play here than just people having guns. If it was simply access to firearms, why did we not see Columbines before 1968, when any 12 year old in the country could walk in to the hardware store and walk out with a handgun? Do I claim to know what's changed in our society that causes these tragedies, of course not, and I don't pretend to. Blaming an inanimate object for the actions of deeply troubled people is just a scapegoat, and a poor one at that. So stop pretending like you have the slightest idea what you're talking about.
