Overrated means they're not as great as many would claim. I don't claim Metallica is "OMG THE GREATEST FUCKING THRASH BAND EVER THEY'RE METAL GODS!!!!!!" or anything like that. That's a fanboy comment on YouTube. I recognize the importance of Metallica in metal, and how good a band they are when they aren't making garbage like St. Anger or mediocrity like Load.

IMO, I actually think Iron Maiden is better and severely underplayed on the radio.

Especially considering their massive fanbase.

Who gives a shit about the radio? That's not the only place to find music, nor is it worth crap anymore.

The only time when I listen to radio is on Thursday evenings between 7 and 9 pm. Because during that period Radio Rock plays their extreme metal show. Hey, I found my AotY for this year thanks to that program

Other than that I only listen to radio when I'm at work. And even then just about an hour until I switch to my phone.

Chaos AD is good, but Beneath the Remains might be perfect.

Roots is a solid album that practically redefined metal in the 90s/early 2000s.

Dave Mustaine: Won't shut up about politics or Christianity, used to make good music before Pooper Collider (Thirteen was pretty weak too though), and was always saying something about Metallica or former bandmates or whatever. However he's kind of simmered down a little, whereas Moody is still a dick. But at least he didn't beat his wife.

About the only radio station I (occasionally) care about up here though is KEXP, because they at least play an interesting variety, so on occasion you get something good. But other times you got the "hipster" playlist of songs that are dull as hell.

This is why I always hated being in a car with my mom. She would only listen to dull acoustic versions of already dull pop songs which I imagined were being played by hipster kids. And occasionally Christian music.
