Wow, okay, so I'm a bit surprised with myself here.

I'm actually enjoying this album that Cosumar recommended, even with the growls. It sounds pretty fucking epic, and the combination of both harsh and clean vocals is surprisingly good. I would go so far as to say I don't even think this album is even 'meh'. It's better than 'meh'. It's pretty fucking epic.

The whole thing. I was surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did.

And I did like two death metal bands already, Amon Amarth and another one whose name slips my mind. They had cleaner vocals than most death has, so I enjoyed them more.

Though I enjoyed this more than both those bands combined.

But outside of that it just sounds like garbage.

After we're done running around through forests and/or fighting each other afterward (I wrestle/spar with my dog, I usually win but get a little bloodied up sometimes), we head up to my room listen to Bolt Thrower. Then sometimes he'll be away and I'll flip my amp on and start playing a few brutal riffs and then he shows up and lays down right next to the amp. And then watches me looking like happy with his tongue sticking out of his mouth.

German shepherd is the only real dog. At some point in the future (not sure how near or distant) I'm going to get myself a cat and a dog. Not sure about which cat, but dog will definitely be a German shepherd.

how do you wrestle a dog

Usually he jumps at me, I grab him before he can get me, he tries to push his way off, and then it's just a mix of lunging at each other and blocking. If I don't do anything and wait too long he starts barking to try to provoke me into getting at him. Sometimes it works to turn around and go around a corner, and then when he starts chasing after me I ambush him.
