They're a bit in the vein of HHIG more than black metal, but that's okay, I don't think I was going to write traditional black metal songs anyways. What happens when you put black metal, crust punk, pv and skramz in a blender? It sounds like pretentious shit - but it'll be my pretentious shit.

By the way Kar, I didn't used to like death metal or black metal, either, so you MAY evolve into tolerating them. I mean, most of the time I still don't care for either, but both have grown on me considerably. A black metal album even became my favorite album of the year in 2013 (I think?). So who knows, you may grow into it. I even went through a phase where I could barely tolerate metal, which was odd since I've always listened to metal due to my dad, but I got over that, too.

We'll see about that, though I have my doubts.

By the way Kar, I didn't used to like death metal or black metal, either, so you MAY evolve into tolerating them. I mean, most of the time I still don't care for either, but both have grown on me considerably. A black metal album even became my favorite album of the year in 2013 (I think?). It may not be any time soon, but who knows. There's plenty of things I couldn't stand before that I listen to now. I'd literally turn something off before if it had growling. But I intentionally pushed my horizons because it was satisfactory for me, personally. And it appears to have worked quite well. Though there are still genres and such that are hard for me to find much to like (Hip hop or punk, mainly)
