[DEFEATED] Condemn The World Assembly

Postby Herby » Sat Oct 03, 2015 8:21 am

I have absolutely nothing to do with this, but this should be discussed here and not in other threads.

Condemn The World Assembly

Category: Condemnation

Nominee: The World Assembly

Proposed by: Tab1of2

Description:

APPLAUDING the founders of the World Assembly for their vision of a peaceful and brighter tomorrow;

ACKNOWLEDGING That the World Assembly has made great strives to see through this vision;

NOTING that the World Assembly has become full of animosity, frivolity, and hostile debate;

REALIZING that the World Assembly has a habit of constantly repealing recently passed legislation;

HOPING that the World Assembly will get its act together and rise against the elitism that plagues it;

DISMAYED that we have let the World Assembly's useless folly continue for too long;

We the nations of the World Assembly hereby CONDEMN the World Assembly.

I filed a GHR to verify that this was legal, and this was the response:

The Secretariat wrote:It looks like it can be read as describing the region, which would make it legal.

Beep beep. Discuss.

I will absolutely be voting FOR, and I encourage all nations to do the same.

The World Assembly, although created with good intentions, has become inept and disillusioned. The WA is ruled by an Elite Few who who do not care about the rest of us, the common nations. Let's show the elite that we are sick of the useless banter, the hostile debate, and their overall self-indulgent folly. Let's rise together, now, in our time of revolution, our time of action. Come all ye nations, great and small, bold and true, let us rise together, let us reclaim our Assembly back for ourselves. Now is the time to rise, now is the time to fight back against the Elite Few, now is the time to strike cold steel against the hearts of cold men.

Now is the time to vote boldly FOR Condemn The World Assembly

One question: can we vote to eject a nation? The guy keeps on wasting our time with useless legislation. Plus, his crappy formatting is killing my eyes.

I don't think obnoxious legislation would be grounds for a condemnation. Lets just leave him to the mob.

"Welcome to the Security Council, we have reached the point when attempt we condemn our parent organisation, either that or this is just some crazy lunatic from a rogue state that still wishes to stay in the WA.
On the more serious side, I'm guessing this is just an attempt to get revenge because his atrocious and preposterous condemnation didn't pass. Also, this is undoubtedly a puppet of Bitely for the blaming problems on the so called "elite", pathetic."

And when this farce gets defeated, then what? Are we actually going to take some action to stop this?

Bitely TG campaigned for this. Approved! Can't wait till its pulled.

I still wonder what his definition of 'WA Elite' is. As far as I can tell, its anyone who doesn't show complete support and worship toward him

I'll have to add that to the grievances against Tab1of2.

Despite it's sheer absurdity, I believe it would be interesting to see it reach quorum and actually go to voting. It's results would be interesting to analyze in relation to how most countries value the legitimacy of the WA and it's resolutions.

I'll actually approve this.

It is so mad that it will get defeated anyway, so why not eh?

So, what would happen if this were to pass, hypothetically... Does everyone in the WA just get a slap on the wrist or will the WA just have a little badge to show...

If this were to pass the entire WA would quite frankly deserve to be condemned.

On behalf of the Opulent Citizenry's Demesne of Glamour, this Association suggests that the World Assembly might simply be reaching a frustrating equilibrium caused by the fluctuations in balance and generation of diversity over the course of its own distinguished history, finally coming to a point of rest, that it [and by its very constitution its members] is [are] not accustomed to.

Glamour itself is a diverse culture that does not register ethnicity in censuses. This is because each citizen is an individual embodiment of the Citizenry Itself (which is, collectively, both Glamour's symbolic Head of State and its politically embedded Unassailable Nomistic Chamber of the Most Esteemed Citizenry; 600 various randomly selected members in quarterly rotation, with verified voters from the population at large holding the equivalent voting gravity of 100 membership seats).

Being a microcosm of the indomitable superorganism that is the Opulent Citizenry, any and every Citizen is viewed as wholly yet differentially representative of the whole Citizenry, which holds unspeakable power over the direction of the state's architecture and social policy. Yet, the success of practical social policy exists because of the inevitable consensus between the people when they are themselves the channels which conduct their idea of a better society into real manifestation. The Citizenry, diverse, inclusive and representative by its own nature, operates organically with a view to maintaining peaceful and integrative multiculturalism. This precludes that preservation of the thriving indigenous tribal peoples, including their sacred lands, is of paramount importance. The tribe themselves imbue the state with their wisdom and demand from government its servility towards the people, under ancient laws communicated between the Glamazonian indigenous and the state's earliest settlers.

The World Assembly therefore cannot condemn itself, as a body condemned by its own collective mind is indubitably a body rearing and heaving before it collapses therein on unto itself. Thusly, the World Assembly must agree to disagree within itself with the idea that it should condemn itself - not that it ought not, would that it should - and instead might concede to the fact that it shan't condemn itself, mightn't it?

The ancestors have communicated that the first course of action is to strive for simplicity in communication, more transparency, and diminished bureaucracy.

Oh you silly Security Council. The real history of The World Assembly is that it was created years ago by the Will to Control All with the knowledge that we know how to run your nation better than you do. Sometime later we decided to make it appear that the WA was created by Ambassadors so people might trust us more. It was a huge success.

So, by official order of the World Assembly you officially MANDATED to vote against this nonsense. You don't like it, you might think you like it or find it funny, but I know you better than you know yourself. You don't like it. You are also hereby mandated to take a bite out of the left-side of your sandwich before considering the right-side for consumption.

Please stay tuned for more instructions about your opinions and mandated decisions.

Actually, only the region The World Assembly would be condemned. And it isn't an active region.

I'm for this condemnation. However, I think it should be amended to add that the WA should be disbanded and a new international body should never exist. I say this because I support national sovereignty, and the WA is an assault on it
