There Shall be Voting on Two Items:

60th Baptism of Fire Hosting
Eura and Valladares are the only bidders.

Members of the EWCC (listed here) may vote with a single ballot listing their preferences in order according to the constitutional amendments. The options to be listed are to accept this bid, and to re-open nominations. (Or, an alternative option to the list; to officially abstain. Please note this is not an option that comes after the other options. Either you vote with a list, or you abstain).

World Cup 73 Hosting
Apox and Royal Kingdom of Quebec (with San Jose Guayabal & Stvoto Latoli for CoH) are the only bidders.

Members of the WCC (listed here) may vote with a single ballot listing their preferences in order according to the constitutional amendments. The options to be listed are to accept this bid, and to re-open nominations. (Or, an alternative option to the list; to officially abstain. Please note this is not an option that comes after the other options. Either you vote with a list, or you abstain).

Please also note that as agreed, acceptance of this bid will, in the case of no other CoH bids being posted by the end of the first half of qualification, automatically award the CoH to San Jose Guayabal and Stvoto Latoli and will negate the requirement for a further CoH vote later on.

All votes should go to Dark Templara. Any votes to other accounts will not be counted.

Voting remains open from now until Wednesday September 23rd, at 1800 CDT.

Voting results:

BoF Host Vote
4 - Ceni & Red Blackiland
2 - Yttribia & Valanora
0 - Re-open bidding

WC Host Vote
13 - Valladares & San José Guayabal
2 - Re-open bidding
1 - Abstain

Congratulations to those voted as hosts for this cycle and commiserations to those who missed out. I leave it to you 4 to now liaise between yourselves regarding sign-ups and threads etc.

One small sidenote, and this is probably my fault for not wording the voting requisites very well, is that we had a fair few WCC voters trying to vote on the BoF, which isn't allowed constitutionally. I'll make sure I'm clearer next time, but something to be aware of.

Abstain

Members of the WCC (listed here) may vote on the WC with a single ballot which lists their votes in order of preference according to the constitutional amendments. The options to be listed are to accept the bid from Valanora and Chromatika, to accept the bid from Cosumar and Bonesea, and to re-open nominations. (Or, an alternative option to the list; to officially abstain. Please note this is not an option that comes after the other options. Either you vote with a list of preferences, or you abstain).

All votes should be sent, via telegram, to New Sideburn. Any votes not sent via telegram, or not sent to this nation, will not be counted.

It's that time of year again.

PRESIDENTIAL NOMINATIONS TIME.

Any user on the WCC may nominate one other user for the position of World Cup Committee president, to serve the World Cup 79-81 term. Any user receiving at least two nominations will become a candidate. Any user can decline to receive nominations.

TG nominations to Audioslavia.

Any users getting two or more nominations will be put forward as a candidate when the actual vote occurs in the usual preferential run-off system. For now, all nominations should be the name of a SINGLE NATION ONLY.

If any users that suspect they may get a nomination really don't want to stand, let me know via TG to the same account, and I'll quietly make sure you're not put forward as a candidate regardless of how many nominations you receive.

Deadline is in a week's time, 9am AEST.
