Adriano Timente, punong of the Filipino bayan
After an interim regime, Adriano Timente, the country's propaganda minister takes the reigns of power in hopes that a new foreign policy will be implemented. But that doesn't seem to be the case as his first speech as punong had outlined a spirit of defiance of Asigna Philippines's conservative enemies. The new punong claims after the previous wars, the bayan hasn't weakened, but rather, is much stronger than ever before.

There are two sides:
The progressivist/Leftist faction - Composed of the bayan (Asigna Philippines). It believes in the principles of democracy, egalitarianism, free markets (depending on who you ask) and civil rights for all. Supporter of LGBT rights, environmentalism, Globalization and others.
Opposes the "bigoted" view of the ultra conservative faction.
The ultra conservative faction - Composed of right wing nations who oppose the bayan. The faction consists of various types of conservatives, from Christian fundamentalists to paleoconservatives, from pious Islamists both Sunni and Shia to neocons and all the way to the hardline ultra-conservative reactionaries. This faction opposes progressivism, seeing it nothing more than a sign of "moral decay, social degeneracy and cultural-marxism."
Due to being vanguarded by SACTO, an anti communist organization, this side opposes anything leaning left of the political spectrum, even the slightest bit of it, so they inevitably for the most part oppose things like LGBT rights, Globalization, Environmentalism, Irreligion, welfare and others, things the bayan supports.
