Marry looked worriedly out the window as the groups gathered in bigger and bigger numbers. Both sides had more energy in them than the sun and stars combined with patriotic/nationalistic colors worn by both sides while flinging flags and banners in the wind. The shouting and chanting grew louder and louder as police attempted to avoid going after one another due to group loyalties.
"Were founded as a republic you stone age morons!" One man from the Nationalist group shouted as he attempted to brawl his way past police to get after the Monarchist.
"We have God on our side you antichrist Republicans!" A man from the Monarchist side shouted.
As things grew worse outside Marry retreated into the family room and began to hug her son tightly as her husband turned on the radio to see how bad things were getting.
"Currently all U.S.C. troops are being shipped back to our homeland to quell the growing riots in Washington, New York, Toronto, Mexico City, Omaha, San Diego-"
He changed the station at that point. He could only hope things would simmer down. But they didn't. Two days later the President had been killed by a group of Monarchists called the "Purple Shirts" and Civil War had come to the U.S.C.

Sitrep:
Essentially all of North America is split between two groups: Monarchists and Nationalists. Both sides believe they have legitimate reasons to see themselves as the leaders of the U.S.C. The Monarchists control all of the Canadian territory and half of Mexico along with rural areas of the Midwest. The Nationalists control all of the U.S.C (minus the rural Midwest) and half of Mexico. Hawaii is split like Mexico. Both sides have equal amounts of law enforcement and military backing them along with a third of the population (the other third are neutral and just want to get on with their lives). Your job is to either provide aid and support either by supporting them militarily, goods (weapons, vehicles, food, etc.), or politically (make them seem legitimate in the WA).

Rules:
1. NO GODMODDING!
2. A realistic number of troops needed
3. If you're neutral you can't do anything except give Red Cross style support to neutral civilians or one of the two factions
4. Have fun
5. NO NUKES!

(Look up maps of North America involving cities, railroads, highways/interstates and you've got an idea on how to form your invasion plan)

Several ships begin to send down drones carrying large metal boxes, inside are guns, tanks and other vehicles that match the planets current tech level.

"So we've got basically aliens helping us? This sounds like a bad sci-fi film." One of the soldiers commented.
The ride was nearing it's end and a small detachment of four M35 Trucks carrying twelve soldiers each was nearing the drop off point.
It was night time and gunfire and explosions could be heard emerging from the city of Washington. The trucks began to slow down and soon come to a stop. The backs opened up and the troops emerged carrying their M5 Carbines, M60 Machine Guns, and other weapons that seemed to be more advanced then they looked.
The leader of the group, former USC Army Captain Robert Hickney, shouted "Keep your eyes peeled incase any of those damn royal ass kissers shows up! Keep your eyes to the skies as well so we'll know where these allies of ours are!"

Larger spacecraft soon filled the air, while not promising much they appeared to be good enough to provide air support and keep the skies clear. Several people in armor stood at defense around the crates of supplies, holding guns that appeared to give off a blue LED look at certain sections. The armor looked like something out of the old games from the early 200's Halo and Fallout. Soon, as if out of nowhere a larger ship came into orbit, the flag ship of Joshua Stukov himself hoping to eventually meet the president.

The entrance to the grand hotel was blocked by what looked like the regular troops of the former USC Army. However they bore a certain flag on their shoulder and chest patches:

Inside the luxury hotel was converted into a royal fortress. Sandbag barricades guarded the entrance to each room, elevators were shut down and forced anyone looking to go up to either use the stairs or take a helicopter/VTOL to the roof and head down. The higher up you went the less soldiers you'd find and more civilians or support staff.
In the biggest and most luxourious room was the "King" of the Monarchist forces/The Most Sovereign Kingdom of Columbia. He sat in his room and was muttering a speech to himself. A knock was heard on the door.
"Come in," the King replied.
A high ranking officer stepped in. He saluted the King and began to speak.
"Sire, we've received reports that aliens of some sort have touched down near the city. The antichrist Republicans are en route to the location."
The King shook his head and smiled a bit.
He was rather modest in his attire. A black dress shirt, black dress pants, fine black socks, and black dress shoes were what he wore. His blue eyes met with the officers and the King replied:
"Do they intend to take all of Columbia? There's lots of ground to cover which means we could be at war for a long time. I doubt they've the guts and tech to make it shorter or intervene."
"Of course Your Majesty."
"Just in case send some soldiers to the area to scout out these allies of theirs and radio our units in Hawai'i to head to the nearest port in Alaska to secure the northern territories."
"Anything else, Sire?"
The King nodded.
"Pray for Providence to help us in our Holy Struggle."

The main bulk of the troops is being spearheaded by the Sentinel divisions, and at their heads are Rogue Three, the powerful superman-like Genetic Sentinel, and R13, the three meter-tall Robotic Sentinel. The forces are prepared to raze any city that holds Monarchists; or to slaughter any citizen who sympathizes with them.

The airship touched down just outside of the building as the back door opened, fog escapes out of the machine as a person who appears human, just with very bright blue eyes, both pupil and where the whites should be and fang like teeth walks down the ramp* "Greetings! I am Joshua Stukov, I demand you let me meet your leader. *He looked to the guards of the building*

The soldiers look at each other, both feeling relief that the aliens seemed somewhat human and nervous at his fang like teeth and completely blue eyes.
"Uh, of course! Sir!" the soldiers hastily reply before leading him into the White House.
Down the red carpeted corridors and halls they lead Stukov to the elevator and soon were infront of the doors to the Oval Office.
The Secret Service agents looked at the soldiers who nodded gesturing to Stukov before an agent opened the door and said "You're . . . guest is here, Mr. President."
"Send him in." A tired voice replies.
Stukov entered and saw the President.
The President looked less than photographable with a five o'clock shadow, sagging eyes, and a very tired and exhausted look with dozens upon dozens of reports on the desk. Surrounding him were potraits and paintings of various Founding Fathers and battles from the Invasion of Greater Reich.
"I can guess your Stukov?" he asks looking ready to collapse from exhaustion.

"More Nationalist backing troops have landed near Potomac! Thankfully none of their fleets ships like carriers and battleships could get in but there's hundreds if not thousands of soldiers! And that's not counting their Genetically engineered or robot monstrosities!"
The King got up and growled "Where are our forces?"
"Still in this city, Sire."
The King looked ready to collapse to his knees. Most of the forces in the city were infantry. The closest of their mechanized or armored forces were in Dover. Airborne was in Easton.
"God, please send help to us! Help Your servants in some way!"
OOC: Yeah. I see for votes there's four backers of the Monarchist and only Nerdanus and the UFSNA backing the Nationalists. Then again the guys that tagged might be backing the crown.

He noticed the Monarchist infantry littered across the city. "Death to the crown!" He yelled- despite the fact that few, if any, would hear him, as he shot into the city center like a bullet and crushed a shopping plaza by simply landing in the parking lot with the force of a speeding train. Cars were flung backwards into storefronts, trees were flattened, gravel sprayed into the air like foam on salty waves. His eyes started to glow a deep crimson, then a fiery orange, and two streams of blazing energy leaped from his eyes, cutting through steel like a knife cuts through warm butter. He then rocketed up into the sky and started systematically destroying homes, stores, cars, and anything else in his way. Two kilometers behind him, the infantry was being led by the other Sentinels into the city's heart, burning the city to the ground and capturing survivors. A squadron of Apache Attack Helicopters flew overhead, machine guns blazing. The UFSNA would see that the monarchy was totally destroyed.

OOC: We'll play the 'we had to in the name of freedom' angle. Plus, we won't destroy all of it. Monuments will be avoided, unless that is absolutely impossible (i.e. if there is a high concentration of Monarchist government officials inside). Artwork and historical sites will be undamaged as well. Any infrastructure that is destroyed will be payed for and rebuilt by us post-conflict, as long as the Nationalists win.
