About a few hours after implementing this flag. I realised, "Oh sh*t! Carloso's flag is very similar! It could even be the same!". But, it is slightly different.

I was originally going to have a red, white and blue design. But that looked like the Dutch and Luxembourgian flags. Blue, white and red still looked a bit too similar.

I spent an hour trying to find colours which go well with red and blue (my two favourite colours). I ended up going with the primary colours (blue, yellow and red), as apparently they are a good mix.

It is also very similar to the flag of The United Motherland as well. Which I did realise when creating it.

I've used navy blue (my favourite shade of blue), gold (a bit darker than yellow to keep with the theme), and maroon (my favourite shade of red).

I personally prefer dark colours over light colours.

Okay.

I've abandoned the Presidential System for the Semi-Presidential System, which definitely leans very heavily towards the Premier-Presidential sub-system.

The President is elected by the people in September every year. He is the head of state and officially the commander-in-chief of the military (however in practice the Premier and Cabinet controls the military). The President may be removed by an impeachment by a two-thirds majority vote of the legislature, or upon being declared incapacitated or convicted of a felony. The President represents the state internationally and domestically, and awards honours and citizenship, as well as pardoning convicted criminals and lessening or suppressing criminal sentences. The President also officially appoints all civil and military offices. The President receives ambassadors and diplomats, and presents treaties to the parliament.
The President also has reserve/discretionary powers:
- The President may call presidential or parliamentary elections upon the request of the Premier.
- He/she also convenes, and may dissolve (upon the request of the Premier or under other extraordinary circumstances), and promulgates legislation.
- He/she may exercise a limited veto: He/she can send the legislation back to the parliament to be re-read and passed again by a simple majority, can suggests revisions (which can be rejected by the Premier), or send the piece of legislation to the Constitutional Court for revision; each action can only be exercised once per law and if the legislation is accepted the President must promulgate it.
- May announce a referendum and/or plebiscite with the permission of the National Assembly.
- May request the Constitutional Court investigate the government and parliament.
- May declare a state of emergency and martial law for a maximum of a week (the parliament must approve of the declaration within 24 hours of it being called for it to remain in effect), this period can be extended by the parliament.

The Premier (head of government) is elected by the National Assembly, and together with the Cabinet (selected by the Premier) forms the executive branch of government (they are members of the legislature themselves). The Premier and Cabinet may be removed from office by a vote of no confidence from the legislature, and subsequently replaced.

The National Assembly (our unicameral legislature) is a one thousand seat parliament elected through a single transferable vote in multi-member electorates (200 electorates in total, each with 5 members).

It is probably more similar to a parliamentary than presidential system, in short.

Not only do I still work 4 nights a week, up to about 40 hours a week. But now I am taking a set of classes through the local Community College working with what is called the Louisiana Insurance Academy (prep course to start working in Insurance) and made 4 web sites for my nation, besides "ShazWeb", now I have one for 4 of my nations Businesses (COPEC, TWO, SNN and ShazAir).

Am I doing too much? Maybe; but whatever, it's stuff I enjoy.

Well by trade I am a Web Designer, freelance of course. Sadly they make it so easy to do it now with web hosts having the "drag and drop" stuff for designing web sites that business drops off. Which is why I am doing the Louisiana Insurance Academy thing. But hey, I love designing web sites by hand and I learned hand coding web sites using just NotePad and IE some 18 years ago, back during the HTML 2.0 times.
