Regarding the IC: So sorry if you're sick of interacting with Nick. I ended up typing a large post involving a timeskip yesterday and decided that instead of a timeskip it made sense to post Part A, wait for some people to post, post part B...

Nick ended up in the kitchen, and while B is now split and expanded I preferred not to revise my plan beyond such splitting and expansion. I'm cool with further interaction if you are though!

We're working on it even as I type this. *tingle!*

Reminders...

We will no longer be a faction role play. We're going back to character-based, which means every character run by players must have an application. The only minions allowed are the OP's, and those are used by him and the CoOPs to keep things running smoothly.

We are changing venues. You'll need to wrap your stuff up so we can be ready to move. This move will involve a new IC and a new OOC thread. The change will crack the door wide open for adventure opportunities, while also allowing characters to remain in a relaxed setting. The only delay I can foresee would be caused by me, due to trying to get coding done on a deadline.

Eldritch things such as the Chaos Lair, Prim's DEMiOs, and the Raptor House will return to the Building, and be accessible via an apartment door. The main change will be that players will no longer be able to skip around dimensions, pull things from outside the current dimension, etc.

The scale will be small because PL is character-based. You won't have time for invasions or grand scale plots. You will be too busy trying to figure out your new location(s). GT, NVE and Prim - this will affect you three the most. When you first joined PL, you had just your characters and none of the other bells and whistles. Over time, you've added more and more, and that has caused you all to become very distanced from the main role play.

Bielefeld will not be forgotten. We will return there for various things.

Players can still run fun side stories. However - a reminder here - Personification Life is the role play. We are not going to have role plays inside of role plays. If you want to work on a larger scale, please make your own role play.

Adventuring parties! As I mentioned above, players will have more chances for adventure and Classic nonsense. It's gonna be epic!

But I do feel a little distanced from the RP these days. I'd really like to get back to the Nikanors at some point.

With the new venue, many of the classic PL trappings like big adventures and zany side quests will return. PL will be starting fresh and focusing on players actively running stories rather than waiting for them to occur in a fixed environment, since the Building will be roaming from place to place.

This professor has royally pissed me off.

First she chops off five whole days from the original time given to complete this Essay ("Turn it on September 20. ....... LOLZ! JK! September 15 is fine."). Then, as I'm almost done with said Essay, I check back online to find the submit link only to see that the article described in the submit link is a completely different one from the article she described in the directions she gave us to do the Essay on in the first place (Directions: "It's on 'Our Good Earth'! Get to it!" Submit link: "Hope you guys did well on your essay for 'The End of Plenty'!"). So that's eight fucking paragraphs down the shitter, and now probably a late paper on my grade, because this woman can't get her own crap straight.

I am beyond pissed.

Welcome to college, where professors can't give a shit if it doesn't affect their paycheck.

Also look out for "It's interpretive - but if your interpretation is wrong (doesn't match mine), you fail!" and my personal favorite "I prefer to learn by doing; you guys can figure this out yourselves."

Yeah, and that's why I hope I can get back to the Nikanors when we transition. I just wish someone would get something rolling in the IC right now. I offered a little trip to the Branriech, but no one ever responds to those when I suggest them, now I'm wondering if anyone else is going to start something to kill time with that's not just worthless chatter.

Since people are excited about the change, I thought this might be a good time to bring out the new application!

Players, fill it out and send the link to me. Your biography can contain your old stuff, but please add in what the character has done since arriving in Bielefeld. That's part of their history, and new players can get an idea of your character.

It's self-explanatory. For example, Bran's amulet that turns his character would be listed under "Magical Items". So would the TF gun. Take your time on this one. Much like Crucible, if it's not on the list, you ain't got it!

Some things are grandfathered in. For example, Sandy can change into Pegasus. Cer's willing to give him that without points being spent on it because it was part of the original character design.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: Tora Anastasia Dimitrov; Torsiedelle uses both Russian and Western naming conventions; the sisters are 1/4th German, and raised in a more Western-influence family.

Character Gender: Female

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): Human

Age: 19 (as of 9/27/2015; Born September 27th, 1996)

Appearance: Torii is an attractive girl; she has a slim, curvy build, standing at around 5'5", with light skin, bleach blonde hair, blue eyes, and a youthful appearance. She's tomboyish to a degree, and likes to dress for comfort. She's usually seen wearing a pair of jean shorts, a white tank top, and her favorite pair of leather boots, which she got from her dad. She's also somewhat busty, something she secretly a tad self-conscious about.

Primary Objective: To keep the building safe for her friends. Despite what she's said, or how she's acted, Torii has a strong desire to prove herself, and to help others. She wants to let them live without a care, unlike how she grew up, and her charisma, persistence, and occasional bratty-ness will help her.

Secondary Objectives: To achieve success as a scientist. Torii enjoys experimentation and working with technology, but has no real qualifications to do so. She has happily become an intern for the raptors, as they provide her an opportunity to do what she normally couldn't. She also wants to become immortal, something she believes can be achieved not with the help some some god, but with science.

BACKGROUND
Education or Training: Torii prides herself on being trained to fight, and is a good sharpshooter. She has almost no formal education, but is mostly self-taught, and is gaining further knowledge as an intern for the Von Eldritch family.


Character Background/Biography: Torii was torn from her already-torn apart family in a particularly nasty insurgency in her homeland, which occurred around the time of Torsiedelle's entrance in the Ossetian War. The rebellion was put down harshly, with insurgents being publicly executed and supporters being gunned down without mercy. Children affected, like Torii, were taken in and rehabilitated as best as they could be, but Torii was deeply affected by the ordeal.

She has a somewhat strained relationship with her father, but the two are very fond, and her father is the only parent she ever spent an extended time with. She hates her mother, and the two have a chilly and short history. Her older sister, however, is her closest relative, and the two came to live together after moving to Vaffleheim. When she arrived at the building, she met all of her friends, and developed many close relationships, including a romantic relationship with Lidev, her first girlfriend, and later Tsu. She almost had a complete family with Yoshi, but his leaving put Torii in a distressed state. She bonded immensely with Bran, the two having a similar background, and Torii greatly admired the Nikanor family. At 18, she began interning for the Von Edlrtiches, whom she previously helped thwart on the island.

She has a history of depression, violent behavior, and self-harm, but seeks to control herself better. She's already caused trouble with many residents, which has effected the way she is as a young adult. She remains critical of the government and the other powers that be, opting to help the raptors instead. She also has a strange fascination with the Drones and their technology.


OTHER GAME MECHANICS
URL to Apartment Picture: (What's the inside of their apartment look like) The layout allows decent moving room, while still feeling nice and homey for the sisters. Entering the room, guests will find a cozy conversation pit, which sits a foot or two lower than the rest of the apartment, with a soft couch/seats running along the sides, and a small wall/barrier marking the edges. In the left corner facing the door, the barrier makes way for a free space, upon which a few candles and colorful stones are rested. Two small steps lead the way where the half-wall opens up into the rest of the main room. The sisters' large bed sits in the middle, with a wooden frame over it. To the nearest side, the sisters keep most of their belongings. In front of the TV is the dresser, with a TV and several drawers for different items. Next to the bed sits a small table and chair, with two windows on either side of the bed. At the other end of the room, blue carpet makes way for clean tiles as a kitchen area takes up the wall. A smooth, white counter runs along one wall and partially separates the living area and kitchen, with an oven and refrigerator sitting along the wall; cabinets also run above the counter on the wall, but stop as it separates the room. Along the wall in the tiled section as well, the bathroom opens up, as well as a small closet for the washing machine & dryer. An extra bedroom with a bed and three shelves completes the apartment.

Appearance: Katya is slightly taller than her little sister, with a lithe build and flat chest. She has pale skin, and sharper, blue eyes, but has a similar hair style to her sister. Overall, she appears to be more graceful and fragile than Torii; she also dresses much differently. Unlike Torii, who has a casual, comfortable style, Katya likes to dress fashionably. She's all about ties and miniskirts, sporting them both with a white shirt and navy blue blazer, long socks, and black leather shoes. BACKGROUND
Education or Training: Katya attended a prestigious private academy in Stavropol, and further education from her mother, who taught her how to swordfight. She learned music as a child, and was a proficient athlete in school.

Character Background/Biography: Katya was the first child of her parents, and remained in her mother's custody after their separation. Unlike Torii, Katya was raised in a high-class town, and led a normal, if demanding, life. She didn't have a very good time, however, as she admits that her and her mother don't get along very well. Katya was more or less the "problem child" of her family, since Torii wasn't around, but she won't admit that to anyone.

After moving in with her sister, Katya found it hard, learning that not only the girl was so different from her in personality and habit, but that she was also gay. It didn't last long, and she learned to live with her little sister, and even care for her as a guardian. She had a fling with her friend, Dora, which continues to affect her to the present, as she still considers the other woman, as well as Kei, to be her two best friends. She had one child, which was adopted by Minerva and Klaus, after a failed relationship with Yoshi, which left her feeling isolated and bitter for a long time. Now, she feels lonely and unable to really make an image for herself. She's become hard on herself, and thinks that she's not very talented, either. Despite this, she continues to look after her sister and keep their home clean.

Entering the room, guests will find a cozy conversation pit, which sits a foot or two lower than the rest of the apartment, with a soft couch/seats running along the sides, and a small wall/barrier marking the edges. In the left corner facing the door, the barrier makes way for a free space, upon which a few candles and colorful stones are rested. Two small steps lead the way where the half-wall opens up into the rest of the main room. The sisters' large bed sits in the middle, with a wooden frame over it. To the nearest side, the sisters keep most of their belongings. In front of the TV is the dresser, with a TV and several drawers for different items. Next to the bed sits a small table and chair, with two windows on either side of the bed. At the other end of the room, blue carpet makes way for clean tiles as a kitchen area takes up the wall. A smooth, white counter runs along one wall and partially separates the living area and kitchen, with an oven and refrigerator sitting along the wall; cabinets also run above the counter on the wall, but stop as it separates the room. Along the wall in the tiled section as well, the bathroom opens up, as well as a small closet for the washing machine & dryer. An extra bedroom with a bed and three shelves completes the apartment.

Character Background/Biography: Her background isn't something that Jasmine likes to openly talk about, with the exception of some minor snippets. Jasmine was mostly homeless and a wanderer, although she can remember spending some time with a nice couple who she took up a job for. That gave her a little glimpse at a normal life, and that's what enticed her to stay in Bielefield. Of course, she still enjoyed the wanderer's life as well, with the freedom she had, going wherever she wanted, whenever she wanted. She got by on menial jobs, or thinking fast and getting away with some things she probably shouldn't have. She learned real quick how to defend herself, too, being a young girl traveling around Europe and the Middle East. It's at least safe to say that she's Persian, since she has a certain fondness for Iran, and takes pride in her little pendant.

The Main room/living room (1) has a large, cozy, brown curved cough sitting to the right, facing the left, in the center. In front of it is a simple wooden table, and then a stand with a TV. The rest of the room is open, with matching floral rugs on a hardwood floor. It leads into a sort of hallway (3), with large, live-image paintings on the outer wall depicting various oriental temples and scenes of nature. Going straight, it leads into another lounge (4), with comfortable mats to sit on, around a low table, where Jasmine has tea. There is also a hookah in one corner, although it doesn't get much use. Going right in the hallway leads to the kitchen (2). The kitchen wall separating it from the main room has a large, open half-wall/wall hole with a counter, giving a good view between both rooms and making the entire house less stuffy. The kitchen has a large counter running around the inner wall, with a stove near the second mini-hallway. The shelves are stocked with a multitude of spices and cooking ingredients, teas, cups, tea kettles and pots, and hooks for spoons and ladles. A fridge sits opposite, only partially filled with food. The second mini-hall leads straight to the bathroom (7), and goes right to Jasmine's bedroom (8). The entire apartment is spacious and open, while the wood and green floral design and many open walls and doorways gives Jasmine a sense of peace and puts down her claustrophobia. Despite having a big bedroom and a big, cushy bed, Jasmine often sleeps on the couch in the main room. The entire apartment sits at a comfortable 65-69 degrees, with a noticeable air current running all throughout it, giving a feeling of a soft breeze. Jasmine enjoys burning scented candles, specially bamboo and vanilla.

PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS
Character Name: NST 3v1 (Neste Trilb)

Character Gender: female

Species (nation personification, human, alien, etc): higher construct

Age: apparent age: 30; actual age: unknown.

Appearance: Neste is capable of mimicking a variety of creatures but she most commonly adopts human or lizard form.

Lizard: technically, not an actual lizard. She's mammalian, and has the breasts to prove it. The N-Series overall reptilian appearance is based upon a now-extinct sophont species; it's utilitarian in nature. Neste, like all of her sisters, stands roughly 5' in height and weighs 110 pounds. Her coloration is predominantly white due to age and time in stasis (pigments fade over time). Her eyes, which have been described by others as "soulful" or "doe eyes", are golden in color due to the deposition of the lipochrome in the iris; the eyes are similar to human eyes in that the white conjunctiva is visible. Her ears are thin and elongated, and she's capable of swiveling them (doing so is considered undignified). Her short horns are a soft cream in color. She is currently tail-less and sans the normal mane of feathers that constructs grow and shed once a year. N-Series are toe walkers; the foot is elongated and the heel doesn't touch the ground.

Human: Neste appears to be in her twenties, although she is actually much older due to long periods of stasis. Her height and weight are the same as in lizard form. She's typically pale skinned although she's capable of adjusting her skin tone. Her dark hair hangs in curtains to frame her face (perfect to hide behind) when not pulled back and held in place by clips; it tends to curl at the ends. The human form is the least draining form a construct can take.

True Form/Construct Form: A cross between reptilian and human, this form is seldom seen by anyone. Considered an intimate form, they regress to this state when housed in the Exoskeletons.

Several characteristics are present regardless of her form. A series of ports, used to interface with her exoskeleton and other Swithwardian tech, runs bilaterally down her spine. The ports remain in a closed state unless she's interfacing with something; they're a soft blueish color and frequently mistaken as tattoos by those unfamiliar with biotech. Her number series is tattooed near her clavicle as well as the on her right side inguinal region. The numbers and letters are accompanied by NiSci glyphs. She has small, greyish dots splattered on each side of her head and along her neck, and freckling her fingertips and palms; these are sensory organs.

Exoskeleton: Scel, despite seeming like a separate being, is in fact a facet of Neste herself. Overseers form their Exos similar to a caterpillar's cocooning process. The exoskeleton tends to take on a personality of its own.

Primary Objective: Neste has a blank spot in her memory. She seeks to discover what transpired during this period, as well as a way to liberate herself from her Nifid masters. She believes that becoming more human-like will assist with the later, and she strives to find a purpose other than what she was created to be. To do this, she needs to overcome fears, doubts and insecurities, and to gain greater confidence in the fact that she can be accepted for who she is inside rather than seen as the monster her masters insist she is.

She has certain objectives hardwired in that she can not override. She will eternally catalog new species, acquiring their genetic code for Nifid use, for example.

Secondary Objectives: Neste wants to revive Septimus' companion, Titus. She thinks her lover needs others of his own kind, much like she craves the company of her sisters, in order to not feel so cut off from the universe. She also wants to complete her little lab, which will benefit her by means of providing the substance found in carpules. She has taken to setting up a home with Septimus, and wastes considerable amounts of time looking for things for the apartment, and for ways to cement them as a happy couple. Her goal is to have a normal, healthy relationships with people although she's limited by her lack of experience, so she seeks to learn these nuances in order to apply those traits and behaviors to her own interactions with others.

And toilet paper. She seeks to acquire that, because the 2-ply stuff is terrible.

Character Background/Biography:

Construct background:
Higher constructs (machina mortifero) are engineered creatures containing a storehouse of genetic information gathered from various sources. The higher construct is able to absorb genetic samples from unfamiliar or new species, sequence it, and intertwine it with their own strands. In this manner, the universe is cataloged and preserved. Unfortunately, these constructs were fashioned at a time when the Nifidium Convocation acquired data and leveled planets through nefarious means. Neste is a weapon in that regard, capable of sweeping through a setting to process genetic material in order to warp biomatter it into a drone swarm under her direct psionic control. N-Series were built for the singular purpose of annihilation.

The Overseer construct program was short lived (lasting only a few centuries) before it was deemed too expensive to maintain. All N-Series were slated for destruction. The emergence of a new enemy, the Ba'a (machine species), necessitated the need to restore them to their exoskeletons. They were reconditioned to be more effective. The majority of N-Series were destroyed by the Ba'a war machine, or else crippled to the point of uselessness. Many of these damaged constructs found homes within the diplomatic branches but a few intact ones, like Neste, were kept in service much longer than necessary.

While in circulation (a state whereupon the construct operates as a ghost in a shell), the N-Series does not age. She loses her sapience and the ability to think freely. Some do have "breakthrough" moments while in circulation, but these constructs are subjected to reprogramming if such a state is detected.

The Overseer construct program is still operating in the Nifidium Convocation, although the Convocation no longer engages in genocide (unless provoked) and prefers to regulate itself to the role of star shepherds and lore keepers. Some witherwards have removed themselves from the Convocation in a bid for freedom. Swith Witherward, where Neste was assigned, gained its independence in 2012. Neste and her sisters were "freed" rather than destroyed. A law was passed shortly thereafter prohibiting them from touching screwdrivers (anti-machine reconditioning was a bad idea on the Nifid's part).

It is important to note that higher constructs were never intended to be self-aware; they were intended to operate similar to any programmable machine. Few witherwards see them as sophont beings. Even within Swith Witherward, there is division amongst scientists with one camp accepting the construct's sophont state while the other insist that the construct is nothing but an AI or else simply mimicking sophont behaviors. In truth, not all N-series are sophont; it is only the NS*, NR*, and NL* batches that posses this quality.


Neste:
Despite her age, Neste has only a total of 30 years outside her exoskeleton; she's socially stunted. Couple that with two decades of being treated like a tool whenever she ventured into society, and you'll find yourself with a timid, self-doubting and mistrustful creature prone to irrational fears. Like all her sisters, Neste is overly curious, and eager to learn and please.

Neste served with the military as an Overseer before rotation to diplomacy. She was assigned to Lord Grevin Sage for two months before her selection to serve in an ambassadorial capacity (bad idea, sending an N to a planet that might possibly contain a lot of machines). She is unaware of how she arrived in Bielefeld and has gaping holes in her memory.

It wasn't until Brother Septimus Itum arrived that Neste came out of her shell and ceased lurking in the shadows. Through some heavy, mutual soul searching via memory examination and the Carnival's tents, she discovered that they shared a similar desire to step away from the monsters they were in their past in order to become more. It's not until recently that Neste came to understand that the emotions the cyborg invoked in her were actually love (a foreign concept to a species that is told they're incapable of such things). She forgives him his flaws and accepts that those things are part of who he is.

She is currently employed by Minerva Blackwater, and serves as Septimus' diplomatic staffer/body guard. She takes the odd job when Klaus offers it, and she is still beholden to Rodney and at his beck and call.

In truth, her heart seeks acceptance. Often feeling ignored and rejected by her father, and at a loss due to her mother's passing, the teen would like to gain the confidence necessary to function in normal society. She's interested in literature and poetry, and has been working on a novel. To that end, she observes the world around her in order to gleam ideas for her writing. She has the makings of a good journalist, but hasn't yet become aware of this talent.

Secondary Objectives: (What other goals does your character intend to achieve? These should drive subplots.) In a bitter struggle to assert a bit of independence, Myra has started bringing trinkets into her room although these mysteriously end up in her closets and drawers upon waking each morning. Her father's will is strong. She pushes to find things that prove she's her own person while, at the same time, allowing her to add warmth and whimsy to her world. It's a never ending struggle that allows her to explore who she is as a person as she discovering her changes tasting from childish to adult.

BACKGROUND
Education or Training: Typical HS education. She's giving some thought to college.
Character Background/Biography: Myra is the daughter of Morag Bones, who has business in Bielefeld. He's seldom home and Myra is left to her own devices while he's away.

She was born in Ireland. She was a fairly good student, except for P.E. and she has a love for language and writing. She moved to Bielefeld with her father and nothing changed. He was still too busy for her, still away for long periods of time, and still an absentee parent when she needed him most. She desires nothing more than to prove worthy of his love, and doesn't understand why his work comes first. She keeps the house tidy, always in anticipation of him returning home. She doesn't realize what he is and doesn't know know what she is. Sadly, her time of discovery is coming. She'll eventually learn that he hid her away in Bielefeld on the off chance she might develop some draconic abilities.

Her love for literature means that books are her best friends. An avid reader, Myra is often found at the public library or browsing the books in the building's library. She loves dragons and has a small collection of stuffed toy dragons and figurines.

She's been a shut in, only leaving the building to attend school, and would have remained so if she hadn't bumped into Minerva. Minerva, in need of a babysitter on occasion, has asked the girl to help Sophia Von Klaus learn English. She joins her fellow teens when they do Teen Club activities, but lately has kept herself sequestered.

BACKGROUND
Education or Training: Catholic education; Special Operations Executive (SOE)
Character Background/Biography: Minerva was born in India in 1918. That was the year the Flu Pandemic began its deadly spread. Her father, Basil Blackwater, was an officer in the Brisith Navy. He died before her birth and her mother succumbed to the flu a month before her due date. Minerva, named after her own mother, was placed on the dead woman's body shortly after delivery; she wasn't expected to live. Fate had other plans. Minerva spent her early years in a Catholic orphanage before being sent to relatives in London.

Britain declared war on Germany in 1939, and Minerva rose to the challenge. She was assigned as a Special Operations Executive (SOE) in 1940, and her job was espionage, sabotage and reconnaissance in occupied Europe against the Axis powers, and to aid local resistance movements. She specialized in underground railroads to move supplies (and fleeing Jews) in Nazi-occupied territories. Her assignment also brought her to the attention of Maximilian Klaus, a notorious Einsatzgruppe officer (Schutzstaffel (SS) paramilitary death squads of Nazi Germany) who was often hindered by her determination to protect Jews.

Klaus seemed maniacal in his desire to murder Minerva, wasting untold resources in an insane attempt to eradicate her and her "lads". He gave her the monicker unsterblich Miststück (loosely translated: Deathless Bitch) although he secretly admired her tenacity and drive. She was finally captured while freeing elderly "rats" from a rail car, and Klaus was alerted and boarded a train to finally "put a bullet into her head". Tragically, he never had that opportunity. Minerva fought to protect an elderly woman despite overwhelming forces, and her "churlish" behavior resulted in rape and sodomy of both her and the woman. She was used up and left for dead in a horse stall. Her final moments of life were spent curled around the woman in an effort to comfort her.

The condition of his worst enemy caused Klaus to psychologically snap. He'd seen many horrors but nothing had left him prepared for what they'd done to Minerva. To this day, he has never told her how she came to be possessed by the Greater Daemon, Perna, or how life was restored to her, but she was a cursed thing now beholden to Chaos. (Her curse is that she dies daily, every twelve hours.) She also discovered that Klaus wasn't what people thought, and she joined him in secretly undermining Nazi Germany although she loathed him for what he was.

Minerva worked her way up through Chaos ranks until she was the leading cultist in charge of her god's forces. Her work (and Chaos' influence over Mankind throughout history) has meant that she has walked in the distant past as well as the far future. Prior to her current assignment, Minerva was Chaos' top god killer.

She was brought to the current timeline by Charumati, an avatar of her god, and set to work in infiltrating the city, ferreting out enemy movements and organizing Chaos forces. Her lads are fiercely loyal to her and assist her in her efforts. Her most recent events brought her face to face with Yellow King as well as the Drone Empire. (It should be noted that in a prior RP on a another forum, Minerva and Klaus where charged with killing Cthulhu. After they finished him, they worked their way down the list of Great Old Ones, sparing Azathoth and leaving off with Nctosa and Nctolhu in order to work for Charumati.) During this time, she came to realize that she had feelings for her old nemesis, Klaus.

Her rank of Captain is merely a term of respect. She was, by nature of her death, nonsexual (despite Klaus' damn efforts to court her). The irony is that she the top cultist for the God of Lust and Hedonism.

Years have passed, and Minerva was instrumental in helping Klaus return to godhood. She overcame her issues and accepted him as her lover. Currently, she helps him in raising his daughter, Sophie, and their adopted son, Nash.

BACKGROUND
Education or Training: Former Nazi officer; uncountable eon's worth of service to Chaos.
Character Background/Biography: Although tasked by Klaus to thwart the Nazi party from the inside, he frequently was placed in positions that required him to murder innocents. (erm... this character used to be Cer's. I don't have access to his old bio. I'd like to keep it the same.)

Hans was brought to Bielefeld by Klaus and Atosh in order to assist in thwarting a Drone invasion. He proved his value during a subsequent Cthulhu invasion, and remained on, taking over as Cultist Leader once Klaus had returned to godhood.

His personal life remains very simple. He cares for his animal-loving brother, Rudolf. He found himself falling into love with Chrys the Conservator, despite her marriage to Dia, and his attempts to woo her are unceasing despite them living together as a couple.

The recent bane of his existence was the Untermenschen Sicherheitspolizei - or USiPo - where he unhappily served as Director.

Character Name: Septimus Alsius Itum

Age: Actually around 1,200, give or take a few years; appears to be mid-forties

Appearance: Septimus stands at five feet, ten inches with a thin build and tanned skin. He has heavy scarring and burn marks on the right side of his face and his right eye has been replaced with a cybernetic ocular implant. The cyborg's hair is thick and black, with grey flecks beginning to betray his age, and often done up spiky as he is too lazy to style it properly. He shaves, though prefers to keep his facial hair at a thin scruff. He can be seen wearing both normal Terran clothes - preferring suits, collared shirts, dress pants, and dress shoes over casual-wear - as well as the traditional robes of the Confederation that he wore when he was a member of its government. The red scarf and sash pictured below are priceless to him, as they were knitted by his mother.

Primary Objective: Septimus wishes to finish the project he had begun under when he was still living in the Confederation: Project Lazarus. His intention is to clone bodies for his old fellows Titus Elimans and Emily Ophelia, both of whom perished as a result of his actions, and to resurrect them from the dead with limited data he has acquired of their personality and memories from the Infinity Circuit. This would not only absolve his guilt concerning their deaths but also validate his abilities as a researcher and scientist, which were often questioned during and after his tenure on the Regent Board as a result of his inability to develop or hypothesize and demonstrate anything of value after his brief five minutes of fame with teleportation.

Secondary Objectives: As a result of finding a new life in Bielefield, Septimus wishes to establish a pleasant home and life for himself and Neste, the construct that he is very much enamored with and to whom he owes his life. To this end, he also wishes to learn more about how to be friendly and cultured, and hopes to bring Neste out of her shell so she can grow into an emotionally-mature individual not dependent on others for purpose.

He also wishes to see the abhumans in Bielefield freed from the yoke of oppression, and to this end has found a place in the city's politics to achieve this.

Incidentally, he very much wishes to acquire an endless supply of toilet paper to stop his cat, Sentia, from pestering him about the low-grade stuff the Residents usually get.

MUNDANE SKILLS

Character Background/Biography: Septimus Itum was the youngest member of the Regent Board of the University-State of Agymnum, a highly-advanced multiversal empire spanning nearly two dozen planets spread across several universes and connected via a series of warp gates and teleportation portals. Agymnum was a meritocratic technocracy, whose citizens were highly educated and whose primary output was research rather than some physical good for trading. Seekers of knowledge, the state and its citizens sought to explore the far reaches of the known universes, contact various civilizations, share knowledge, and record all sorts of data - useful and useless - for future denizens of the world.

Few noteworthy events occurred during his 1,200 year existence. The destruction of planets, birth of stars, and expansion of Agymnum is considered insignificant, as all these had been occurring long before he was born and would be going on long after he died. He spent much of his childhood as most people in Agymnum did, studying hard in the state-funded Schola Academia and eventually selecting a specialization for research and creative development. His selection was in the study of the biological cessation of existence and the possibilities there were for preventing it and reversing it, or philothanatophy (lit. "love of death").

Following his graduation with honors from the Schola Academia, he worked in Mobius Research Conglomerate for several centuries before eventually being recruited by the Regent Board as a future ruler. While groomed by the current Regent Board members, he continued research in philothanatophy privately and eventually received the permission and funding to create Lazarus LLC, which he founded alongside his research fellows from his Academia days.

Upon the death of the Counsel of the Regent Board, everyone surviving was promoted up one level and thus Septimus took up his mantle as the newest official member of the Board, becoming its primary diplomatic officer and ambassador. He spent his next 800 years in this position, expanding trade, networking with various nations, and continuing research with Lazarus LLC when he had spare time. The particular project he was working on prior to his unfortunate disappearance was an experiment in attempting to resurrect a dead person whose memories and personality had been stored (in binary) in the Infinity Circuit.

With his arrival in Bielefield, Septimus found himself clinging to one of the few reminders of his old world: Neste Trilb, a construct hailing from Swith Witherward, a protectorate of the Nifidium. He later accompanied Neste to the Carnal Carnival, where he confronted his demons and died before being reborn as a result of her tail and a nifty cloning process. Following these and other adventures, he became close to Neste and later admitted his love for her, with the two becoming an official couple shortly before Septimus was elected to office as one of three district representatives for the Market District in Bielefield.

Currently, he is employed as in the aforementioned representative position and also is in charge of the Public Works Committee of Bielefield. He also is busy with Project Lazarus.

Septimus is an augmented human and a researcher in the field of philothanatophy (study of death, lit. "love of death") from a futuristic, multiversal technocracy: Agymnum. He held a high-ranking post in its government, functioned as the highest-level diplomat for all trade and foreign affairs, and was doing research into resurrecting the dead when he was sucked into this curious dimension. He is curious, hungers for knowledge, and is currently in a happy relationship with Neste Trilb. He is employed as the Market District's Representative in the Bielefield City Legislature. Work with him, against him, or just be near him at your own peril. Incidentally, don't mention harming cats around him.

Do we have the same rule before where physical traits can negate the need for points, such as wings automatically equaling flight?
