The fleet of Timberwolves Rangers sent to the high (low?) antarctic has returned, with their helicopters flying heavily as if weighed down. The troops were seen loading unknown cargo onto M10A1 MLV-Ws, which moved them onto 3 C-53s - one of which never received any cargo - which all broke contact Northbound. No sources yet have even acknowledged the movement of Timberwolves Rangers in what some are calling the most questionable peacetime deployment of reserves yet; a title that many in the Timberwolves Foreign Bureau hold dear.

In news that's less likely to make this station disappear, the Marshall of the Public has announced that he intends to dedicate $30 billion dollars to fund free floaties to help combat the recent surge in drunk-oxiclean-night-swimming deaths. Well, he didn't announce it yet, but now he'll look like a piece of sh!t if he doesn't.

IC: A referendum of the people of New Khalifa, regarding its status as an autonomous district of the Federal Eastern Union, will take place in September 5th, 2015. As of now, there are three options for the referendum: inclusion into the Federal Eastern Union as an official 'Province', maintaining the status quo as an autonomous district, or independence from the Federal Eastern Union. According to a most recent poll, the first option is said to be the most likely result of the referendum.

Parliamentary Elections in the Holy Empire!

Hello fellow countrymen and people from around the world! Today, the first elections ever since the death of the former Emperor will be held. Today, His Imperial Majesty has publicly apologized for the many situations that have delayed the elections, and has once again ensured the population that no matter what the foreign propaganda says, the elections will be free and fair. The elections will begin tomorrow at 00:01, and they will end at 23:59 TST. In the following we will give a short presentation of the parties. All hail Thrace!

Political Parties

The National Monarchist Party/ N.M.P.
The descendant of the infamous ultranationalist party from before and during the Second World War, the National Monarchist Party is even today a center-right nationalist party. Obviously more moderate then it's predecessor,with a progressive ideology the N.M.P. has gained an alarming rate of popularity in the last years.

The National Liberal Party/ N.L.P.
The National Liberal Party is a center-right liberal party, which supports the neutrality of the state in moral and religious issues, as well as the privatization and denationalization of the economy, a trend which is currently taking place quite rapidly in Romania, as in other post-communist economies. They had the majority in the last Parliament, but most of the polls are showing that they aren't as popular as they once were.

The New Center/N.C.
The New Center is the only centrist party in the Holy Empire. They are well known for switching alliances with the party who is in power at the time, in order to keep the balance, as they say.

The Conservative Party/ C.P
The Conservative Party is one of the oldest parties of Thrace, but it's popularity ratings have declined ever since 1989. The Conservative Party was part of the alliance that had the majority in the parliament the last years.

The Social Democrat Party/ P.S.D.
The Social Democrat Party is a recently created party, formed by the union of the remaining left wing parties with the Democrat Party.

[Greater New Poland]

Greater New Poland have just finished is parliamentarian election, and the Socialist party of Greater New Poland lead my Brian De Pierce won a landslide victory with 70% of the votes. Brian De Pierce is now considered as the new Prime Minister of Greater New Poland. Also the current Parliament is discussing the possibility of the reinstatement of the monarchy in Greater New Poland.

The Holy Thracian Empire

Following the recent events, the Holy Thracian Empire will officially leave the Intermarium Pact of Friendship, Cooperation and Mutual Assistance. After the recent international events, in which the foreign powers have once again disappointed Thrace, the staying of Thrace in the pact is just impossible. The Holy Thracian Empire would like to apologize to Atlantica and Illmaa for what happened, and to express its hope that the friendly relations between the Empire and their nations will be maintained.

Also, the Holy Thracian Empire officially breaks all diplomatic, military, economical and political relations with Greater New Poland, an obvious move after the latest events, that have alienated the until then friendly relations.

Announcement from the Maritime Commonwealth!

The Maritime Commonwealth is happy to announce that it is accepting its newest member, Greater New Poland! Citizens from all four states are celebrating the joining of Greater New Poland, and the parliament is currently being adjusted to include delegation from the new state.

In retaliation of Tracian Empire's actions, Greater New Poland hereby expels ALL Tracian nationals in Greater New Poland and officially closed it's embassy in Tracian Empire . New Polandian nationals are warned that Tracian Empire is a hostile place for them, and hereby forbids them to go to Tracian Empire. Any national who still insist on going to the Tracian Empire are on their own risk and the government will not help them if they got into trouble. Moreover, ALL Tracian ships are banned from using the Isthmus Canals and any Tracian Ships who enter New Polandian national waters will be detained by the navy. Tracian planes are also forbidden to use Greater New Poland's airspace and will be shot down if found intruding it's airspace.

If Tracian Empire is willing to drop its punitive actions against Greater New Poland, Greater New Poland is willing to end it's punitive actions against Tracian Empire. It is very difficult to for us as a nation to have hostile relations with a long time ally.

Tragedy ensued today after a Topsailian National Hurricane Center Hurricane Hunter aircraft went missing after attempting a low-level eyewall penetration of Hurricane Karen, a Category 4 Hurricane with 135 mph winds. Contact was lost while the aircraft was almost through the eyewall. Another Hurricane Hunter aircraft attempted contact after transmissions with the aircraft went silent, however they got no response either. About 40 minutes after contact was lost, however, the aircraft received the transmission from the aircraft's locator beacon, which is designed to automatically go off in the event that the aircraft crashes. As the Hurricane is moving slowly towards the North, search and rescue operations cannot take place at this time, and very rough seas even after the storm moves on will inhibit rescue attempts for some time. Currently all 9 of the crew are missing.

The long silence from Idris has ended today after weeks of talk and deals hidden in closed conferences with the first meeting with a public address allowed Acting President Kathrine Halsey had this to say,

"Today marked a historic day for Hijjma, the first publicly held elections since the rise of the C.C.H. are set for two months for now. Many citizens in Hijjma and presumably across the world are celebrating, this monumental achievement for democracy."

"I believe that Hijjma needs new leaders. For far to long Hijjma has been described as stagnant. Therefore, no I will not be running for President."

The Mallaskan Ministry of Security has recently confirmed that exercises between the Mallaskan Royal Navy and Grand Navy of New Educandi scheduled to commence in two days are to go as planned. In this exercise the two navies will practice combined operations as part of obligations to the Northern Pact. Each navy has subsequently stated that they have sent "Sizeable" fleets just south of New Educandi for the exercises. A majority of other information regarding the exercise is stated to be "Classified" and media coverage whilst the event is underway is prohibited.

The Royal Navy has, however, stated that the fleets will be placing particular emphasis on submarine warfare, anti-submarine warfare, and territorial defense along with a majority of the exercise being live-fire against simulated opponents and remotely-controlled adversaries.

The Mallaskan Royal Navy and Grand Navy of New Educandi have provided no further details, particularly pertaining to ships participating in the exercises, with the exception that the Grand Navy has stated that the flagship Regent-Class Assault Dreadnaught Manifest Destiny will be involved in the operations.

The Royal Government has surprised the public today by heightening the National Threat Level to level Three from the peacetime Level One this afternoon. Prime Minister James Pierce has cited that the reasoning for the change is attributed to an "Undisclosed cause" and the government will provide no further details.

In the meantime, all Mallaskan military facilities have been placed under lockdown and the RMAF has begun armed patrols over the nation's airspace, along with the Royal Navy conducting increased maritime patrols.

Due to recent actions and military movements by the MNSMR Military near the Grothbordian Island of Dotbord.
The Grothbordian Navy has dispatched a sizeable naval force to the island bringing along over 40,000 Troops to be stationed on the island.
The leader, Revter Trochev announced to his people that the nations security is threatened and the government will act accordingly, Thus today only a couple hours before the movement of the navy, The Parliament passed The " German Relevance Act" which allows the military budget to be increased, 5 Years Compulsory Military Service and will allow the military to have free reign over production.

The Maritime Commonwealth has repurchased the New Educandian colony of Small Gatito from its previous owners. As the Educans pack their bags, the people of the Gatiton Commonwealth State celebrate and rejoice at the reunification of Gatito. The transaction was 10 billion Rondels.

Acting President Halsey gave the final go ahead on a previously top sercret deployment, she had this to say;
"Yesterday, I approved the launch of a joint military training exercise with the nation of Grothbord. The exact reasons and details of the deployment will remain classified until further notice."
However, it seems even though the "exact details" are still classified. A few sources have indicated that at least 50 ships have already left port.

SEPTEMBER 5, 2015. HARRY TRUMAN-KANSAS CITY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (AKHS).
TWA flight 847, a TK-110-30ER bound for Callista, Mallaska was hijacked by the People's Liberation Front of West Kathmandue (PLFWK), a West Kathmanduean government-sponsored terrorist organization with the goal of annexing more land and freeing their comrades. Due to relatively low terror threats within the past 2 decades, security has been very lax in Kathmanduean Airports. John dé Audaux, the Kathmanduean minister of Transportation said it "is a disgrace to the countries safety reputation that this happened. Security has come up in the past few years but it was always in the back of our minds. This should not happen again." The Kathmanduean Minister of Homeland Security stated "These are atrocious acts funded by a government that supports terrorism, this shall not be tolerated by the international community." Meanwhile, accross the skies another story was developing, this time on Estradian International Airlines flight EIA 009, a CR-10 from Parisia, Kath. to Linguia, Estradia. PLFWK members Muhama la de Stel and Gersti Flini, armed with yet-to be named pistols rose up and started shouting "Everyone remain calm, if you do not cooperate we will blow up the plane". Felini then went to the cockpit and gave the pilots, Captain George Stevenson and James Fuller, directions to Fellow's Field, which the PLFWK has renamed "Revolution Field"

It is reported that at around 4:00, TWA flight 847 landed at the field, and EIA 009 landed around 5:15. But this tale of 2 planes is not over, 1 more plane is to arrive while 2 other attempts fail. At 3:38 P.M, Maplston time, United Airways UAW flight 67 from Topsail City to Mapleville was also redirected to the field. Nova Roma Airlines flight 983 from Stokje to Linguia, a AZ-300 was a failed hijack. A passengers managed to subdue the 2 would-be terroist, thankfully there were 3-off duty Stokje Police officers on the flight. The plane safely landed in Melbourne. The last and final attempted hijack was Pan Am flight 73, a 545-200 from Louis dé Andersson Airport in Parisia. The piolots managed to convince the 2 other would-be terrorists that the plane was too big to land at the field. They were identified as Nathan Daux and Richard Dickson, who were arrested when the plane landed in Sydney.
