Jason Mint - Headhunter
Washington, DC, USA

There you are.... Headhunter thought as he aimed his sniper rifle which he built himself. It was designed to kill anything, through even the thickest walls. So glass would be easy to penetrate. Headhunter was looking at the house of the American VP. It was a good night for assassination. He looked down the scope, engaging his thermal vision, he saw the prime minister as he walked behind a wall.

Headhunter pulled the trigger. And the VP fell. Chaos ensued, the guards went into a frenzy, looking for the assassin. I just need the head now.... Headhunter thought as he put his sniper rifle down into a bag, hiding it in a bush. He then pulled out an assualt rifle, again, he made it. It was designed to be efficient at killing. Light, but still packing a punch.

He approached the house. The guards saw him and opened fire on him. He shot one shot for each guard, dropping them like flies. Headhunter kicked the door down, and threw a smoke grenade in. Reactivating his thermals, he made his way into the building, killing everyone he ran into. He approached the body of the VP, he pushed the body into a sitting position. Letting go of his assualt rifle, letting it hang by his shoulder strap, Headhunter reached for the tool of his trade. His Kukri. Like a paint brush to a painter, the Kukri was how Headhunter made his mark.

He took the Kukri to the dead prime ministers neck, and with a quick slice and push with the foot. The body fell, but the head remained in place. Held by the hair in the empty hand of Headhunter. Putting the Kukri away, Headhunter strolled out of the building, and away from the scene.

Contract, complete, now to get payed. he though as he smiled behind his mask.

Sarah William - Bat
Mosul, Iraq

Looking in the crowd, no one would be able to see her. Covered up, like any Islamic women would be, Sarah William, also known as the Bat, was waiting to meet with an informant. She had spent the last few months in the Prophet's Dome. She was working on finding a person known as the Prophet. A person, who, if the theories were correct, was responsible for the worlds constant state of war. Sarah was part of the secret Operation: Silverfish.

That meant, she had powers. Just looking at her, you wouldn't be able to determine her powers. Her powers were sound based. But it did have a price, she was blind.

Sarah walked into the place, a coffee shop, she was supposed to meet her informant. A Kurd. She sat down, and waited.

His Hawaiian themed shirt made him appear more touristy then he normally would look. Looking through his sunglasses he gazed down upon his shaft. His rod fell adjacent between his feet, spaced 12 inches apart. The hole rested a few feet away, past the windmill and is spinning fans of doom. He clenched the handle of his club and tapped the green mini-golf ball down the green. Relieved at the sudden relief of stress, his sinuses filled with the succulent stench of the sea. In one gulp his lungs expanded like a blimp. In another moment his lungs air escaped like someone had just opened a balloon and let go. He stepped around the windmill. Much to his imagination he saw a green ball in the 18th hole. A perfect game.

"Very impressive sir" announced a Crewmember.

"What?" Neil calvin responded. He couldn't really not lose a game so he wasn't sure what the crew member meant.

"And as the 1st person to do so on this vessel you have won a free meal in the first class lounge"

Neil smiled. Despite having assets valued somewhere between 800 million and a billion dollars, he always found that nothing was quite like a free anything. But a free meal most of all.
"Thank you sir" Neil said as the crew member have him a voucher before the Crewmember moved on to prevent a child from whacking their sibling with the club.

"Sir? Can interest you in a complimentary cigar?, asks a crew member.

Neil's eyes were glued to the children. He watched as the crew member asked nicely to the parents to do something and then begin to get angry. Seemingly, a game of tug a war ensued in an attempt to keep guests from getting hit by the tornado the club had become. The crew member was winning, but the kid seemed to have the strength of a penguin.

His concentration was broke by the suggestion of one of the crew members. "May I interest you in a complementary cigar?" He heard the crew member ask. He thought nothing of it, clearly it was a reward for playing so well. Not wishing to accept it without his hat on he bent over and retrieved his hat from the park bench adjacent to him. He carefully dusted it off and lowered it upon his scalp as he turned to face the sailor. Looking towards the white clothed crew member he spoke up to respond. As he looked up he analyzed the cigar. It was of average size, brown as usual, and of Cuban origin. That was a good sign that it was quality. "Yes please. I think a cigar would be very enjoyable at this time." He wasn't one to smoke a substantial amount, he did however smoke every now and then. Fortunately, no side effects have arose to his knowledge. He accepted the cigar, taking it from its spot on the silver tray, and pulled out a large Ronson lighter from his left pocket. With both the cigar and lighter in hand he thanked the crew member and walked calmly to the edge where he proceeded to light the cigar and enjoy the scenery. The only thing breaking the moment was the constant bickering of the 2 children behind him. What happened to the crew member that went to stop them he couldn't tell. He didn't seem to be around anymore. He guessed he either fell overboard or left to call security after failing to halt the kids ruffian behaviour.

Sarah heard him coming. As soon as he spoke, she knew this wasn't who she was waiting for, but it was someone she could trust, some what.

"I understand." She said as she got up, "Lead the way."

"Is it good, sir? It's laced with rhino tranquilizer, you know. We figured that would beat your luck. Even if it doesn't work, well..."

The crew member showed a tranq pistol beneath his jacket.

"Rhino tranquilizer?" Neil repeated. It reminded him of a shooting excursion he undertook in Kenya the year before. He suddenly felt dizzy. "Is that some new flavour of that new flavouring craze?" He asked. His world began to spin. "That sun is hot, I think I need to, sit, down." He finished before collapsing down on the bench. As his head bobbed up and down while he dozed off from the tranquilizer he caught a glimpse of the tranq gun, and the crew members face. Unable to think straight, he slurred out the words "What a grand ol' flavour for a cigar. A for effort my good man. My complements to the roller." Soon his body became filled with the tranquilizer and he blacked out entirely. If he were awake, he could only guess the scene would look like a man taking a smoke, turning a spotting a sailor before walking over and falling asleep on a park bench at the end of the minigolf course.

The curse on Lucius took effect and he started to wake up again. He tried to move his body by realized that he couldn't and that he was just a head.

"I say, where am I and where is the rest of me?" He asked no one in particular.

"I'll be back to help finish setting up later later!" Elias called to his friends of the fair, "We're near where I grew up and I wanna check the place out."

He received a few 'hurry backs', a few 'see ya laters' and a few hand waves and soon he was off towards the little city nestled in the heart of the mountains of North Carolina. The first thing he noticed was all of the breweries that had popped up. There was so much beer here it wasn't even funny! It was still well before dawn, and darkness was on his side. Maybe one more run for old times sake? He was sure his friends would enjoy a few drinks.

Finding the nearest ABC store, he swiftly went to work on the lock.

"All about the tumblers." he whispered to himself as it finally gave way.

A few minutes later, he was walking back to the Renaissance Fair, carrying enough drinks for everyone.

Hisoka smiled, though his expression held little humour. Of course. They wouldn't let him escape that easily. It seemed it was fight or be captured, and he wasn't too keen on the latter, even if he usually wasn't that bothered about losing. He stopped, his left hand flickering as he hurled several hidden throwing knives towards the flamethrower-equipped women. His other hand still held Juuchi Yosamu, the cursed blade of Muramasa's crafting, said to have a malevolent sentience that demanded it take at least one life before being sheathed, and which could apparently cut through anything. That said, cutting through the flame that would likely soon come his way, wasn't really an option, since the fire could easily pass round the weapon, and burn him anyway.

For now, he would try to rely on his agility, and shadow manipulation. He would then try shapeshifting, preferably into something able to avoid the flames whilst dangerous enough to tear through the armour of his foes. Hisoka didn't have time to plan anything elaborate, and the fear gnawing at his psyche wasn't helping. He knew that if he stayed in one place, the flamethrowers would trap and roast him. He vaulted along the side of the wall, arcing through the air in the higher part of the room, attempting to avoid and keep his distance from the flamethrowers, and those who used them, accordingly. Behind the team, their own shadows rippled and rose, distinct and animated. These shadows grew claws, spikes and fangs, before moving to attack the women from whom they originated.

"Burn!"

They let fly with the flame throwers, and activated arc lights on their armor, illuminating their whole bodies, while spreading a circle of flame around the target.

The sentient shadows shrank and rapidly began dissipating under the bright light. The climbing torrent of flames issuing forth from the assorted fllamethrowers effectively entrapped Hisoka, least he try to push onward through the flame, which would not go particularly well. Especially with the intense heat and light that weakened and burned through whatever umbrakinetic protection he might seek to use.

Hisoka landed smoothly upon the floor beneath him, and despite his attempt at seeming unmoved by the situation, his gaze seemed to show a kaleidoscope of emotions. Fear, hatred, bloodlust, and even an odd form of amusement, to name a few. In his right hand, Juuchi Yosamu flickered and vanished, the weapon returning to a sort of shadowy pocket dimension, or perhaps simply somewhere else. Of course, whilst he could utilise a form of short range teleportation by shadow-stepping, usually, the current situation ensured he didn't have a consistent line of shadows through which to move. The sword was simply bound by a certain system that meant it could be summoned in such a manner, he had his hands free, and shadows were within range of him.

Hisoka's eyes began glowing ones more, whilst his androgynous form began changing, swirling, melting, and surging into a different organism. He took upon a new shape, an unusual creature, dark-furred, clawed and fanged. There was something about his form that resembled a hyena, a wolf, and a plains bear merged into one. A certain sly avidness merged with arrogant brutality.

Of course, during the process of this transformation, the clothes he had worn earlier had been left tattered shreds beneath him, no longer necessary in this semblance. Hisoka's predatory form was stronger, tougher and more inherently dangerous than his usual one, and it was through this that he hoped to win. He took a couple of steps forward, before ploughing forward in a vicious burst of speed. Despite becoming a lumbering monstrosity, Hisoka seemed a dark blur as he hurtled towards the nearest of his flamethrower wielding adversaries.

A little bird told me, "Go, Go! Socialise! Talk to those fine people! And then, KILL EVERY LAST ONE OF THEM! Plunge your knife into their throats when they ain't lookin', and then burn 'em to the ground!"
Well that's silly, isn't it?

She reached out, and took the blow of his attack.

"You do know, all of us are meta - humans, right? As for myself, I can redirect kinetic energy."

She touched him, and sent out double the force he had sent at her.

Asterdan wrote:"I'll be back to help finish setting up later later!" Elias called to his friends of the fair, "We're near where I grew up and I wanna check the place out."

A man in a nobleman's outfit came up behind him, next to a jester.

"Here, friend, let me help you with that."

The nobel grabbed the drinks, and the jester jumped on his back, reaching for tranq darts to use.

"What the-?!" Eli yelled, glaring at the noble as he tried to shake the jester off of his back.

Within a few seconds, two fore-arm length blades made of bone had extended from his wrists. Eli fell backwards, attempting to land on the jester and hopefully knock him off. Why had he left his bow and arrows at the fair? He would be sure not to do that again. He shook the thought out of his mind, focusing on the fight at hand. Eli already planned his next two movements. If this worked, he would elbow the jester in the face and then go for noble. It was time to see just how sharp these blades really were.
You can call me Aster. Yes, I did revive this nation... Again...

If you aren't hurting anyone, putting anyone in danger, or infringing on the rights of others, it isn't the governments business what you do.

A knight came from the side, slamming his shield into Elias's side. He grabbed his mace, and slammed it into Elias's head.
