"Diplomatic ground?" Owen asked, after hearing Ranger's statement, then looked at Ranger, "I was supposed to be halfway across town by now. If it weren't for the Stark Hater and you. "I think it's best you get going. I was foolish for seeing you as an ally, when in reality, all there are in these times are enemies. Good luck". Randall said before following Ranger, using kinetic energy to keep up. Now that his mind was clear, he was able to put some meaning into what he said intead of blind rage. There truly is no good or evil in this war, and no matter what, there will be destruction unless a common ground is found.

As he cought up with Ranger, he turned to him and said, "Mind if I follow you? There's no way I'll last in this mess alone, and if you want peace, I can help, sort of"
What is a sig? A miserable little pile of words! But enough talk!

Patho/John Holsmburg
New York City

Patho tossed the man-hole cover aside with his free hand, letting the full sunlight fill the tunnel beneath him to the point that it almost blinded him with its contrast to the normal darkness he was used to.Pulling himself up from the abandoned service tunnel exit he bore witness to the destruction wrought by whatever conflict had been taking place there.Rubble and a large amount of shattered glass was strewn across the street, with a few cars left abandoned where their owners had left them in fear of the fighting.

The massive Avengers Tower stood like an obelisk of glass among the drab buildings around it, but the architecture didn't distract from the destruction wrought in this area of New York.Broken chucks of concrete, brick, and steel laid about as testaments to the raw destructive power that had removed them from their originating apartment and office buildings. Some cars which had been left behind were also suffering the after-marks of the fighting and were nothing more than twisted hulks of what they had once been.

As he gauged the level of woe that had been brought to this city he lived in, he could hear the sound of an explosion in the distance.Weather it was the continuing fight between the 'heroes' or it was just a random explosion that might have resulted from the fighting's destruction he didn't know, but what he did know was that there was currently no one on the street so he was free to move about to a higher place to see the destruction's full results.

Still seeking to stay out of the direct sunlight, he rushed across the street and into an ally where the fire escape ladder extended all the way to the ground level. He made a quick but powerful jump to the first ladder and scrambled up several stories in a mere minute, reaching the top with little effort.Once up on top of the apartments roof he stood on the ledge of the building and looked out on the damaged skyline of the block and surrounding area.

Owen nodded as Ranger and Randall left. "I should take his advice and head under ground. The manhunt is going to be a while finding me," he said to himself. The chopper circled. Again. "I'm taking his advice," he thought, "that chopper has been circling too many times." His suspicions were correct when a man descended from the ladder of one of the choppers.

"Owen Grady, you are surrounded! Give yourself up!", the officer said.

"I'm right here-you don't have to yell," Owen replied as he came out from behind the satellite.

"Are you ready to surrender?" the officer demanded, "Because if not, we will use our full firepower on you to change your mind."

Owen put his hands in the air, "I'm not surrendering. I'm only giving myself a head start." He leaped from the building as the officer opened fire, making use of the experimental glider that he had saved for this kind of plan. He landed in an alley. He was missing his hat, and found it lying by a manhole-that was open. "Perfect, I'll take the underground route," he said, slipping beneath the city into the dark tunnels.

Her makeup was stained and smeared all over her face, and the TV was playing. Some episode of some TV show about a young man named Clark. Wasn't there some famous reporter named Clark…Clark…K-something. Whatever. Who gave a flying fuck?

Or, as Laz heard it, "Who gives a flying fuck?" Sonja not realizing she'd spoken aloud, buried her face in her hands for a moment, thinking herself alone in the world.

As Hope saw Sonja, he quickly put his requests aside to try and talk to the woman.

"Jesus H. Christ." Lazarus remarked as he saw the state of the Knightstone Matriarch, picking up the remote to the television and switching the show to one of the many news outlets reporting the leak of Craig Thomsen's experiences. "I know you don't feel good about Aaron, but really I don't know why you thought asking him to do something like that would be a good idea. LOOK at this shit." Lazarus continued as the scene of violence fluttered on in the glowing screen. "Besides, he doesn't need monitoring. He's sane. He's stable. He does it for the money. He doesn't need to be kept in check by the damn government." reasoned the white haired man as he began wiping off the crimson from his clothes, ever so slightly hinting at his inner disorder.

"Explain to me why you're siding with the UN and I may just hear you out, Ma'am." Lazarus asked, looking to bring up his intention to sign up due to fear of his own capabilities.

Sonja finally looked up, her eyes red and makeup stained. "Oh. Mr. Hope. Hello. How were the Cheetos?"

Then, her eyes traveled up, and met the TV screen. With a shaking hand, Sonja grabbed the remote and rewound the news, watching as blurry security footage showed Thompsen's escape, as well as interviews with experts, businessmen, and government officials. In one shot, just briefly, a heavyset black woman could be seen in the background, talking on a cellphone. Sonja's face blanched upon seeing her, and she audibly ground her teeth.

"That bitch." Sonja growled. She rose with one swift motion, grabbing her phone. "That stupid, smug, fatass bitch. She thinks she can do this?"

Spinning around, Sonja faced Laz. "I wanted Aaron to sign up, Mr. Hope, because I'd like to obey the law as much as possible. Keeps the police off my ass. But now…we might be on the law's side. But we're not on Amanda Waller's. That bitch went after Thompsen, next it'll be Wayne, Luthor or me. She won't take on Stark, but now…"

Sonja gesticulated wildly, her hands flapping about like her Father's used to do. "Now, she'll be smarter about it. Not give us an opportunity to escape. Kill us if we don't cooperate. Mr. Hope, how do you propose we stop her from doing this?"

"I'm not leaving-I'm taking a trip to my home. I have to barter passage on a ship sailing to the Solomon Isles, then from there, I will summon one of my friends to get me to my island. I hope to see you again soon." She pressed a horn into Bolin's hands. "This horn is heard by my friends, who will tell me. If you need my help, blow it. Farewell, Bolin, Demon Blade, Panda, and White Lotus. I will hope to see you again. If you are imprisoned, I will find you. No matter what the cost." She waved, then boarded the ship to the Solomon Islands.

Not long after, the ship was caught in a stormy gale. The last thing Ara remembered was clinging to the side of the ship before slipping below the waves.

Patho had seen the police coming bu hadn't known if it was because of the fighting or if it was just because someone had called them be cause they mistook him for the swamp-thing or killer-croc again. In any case he had satisfied his curiosity and had seen the destruction the more known hero's had brought to the city for whatever reason they had, and with the return of the authority's after the fact he was done taking in the view.

He jumped onto the escape ladder and slammed down on it hard when he landed so it would break free of its locks from his sheer downward force. With a loud snap of the rusted locks that kept the aged ladder in its secured position, he gripped hard on the ladders side rails as it plummeted down the side of the building. With a metallic rattling and a sudden violent jerk the ladder came to a stop only feet above the alleyway, a reasonable height for any normal person who was escaping the apartment if a fire had happened.

He heard a bullhorn blaring and a helicopters whirling above it as he ran down the alley, running back to the man-hole and the retaliative safety of the underground where he was hidden away from the public eye.As he reached the man-hole he could hear the sound of sirens and clearly heard the bullhorn calling out for survivors to real themselves. He wanted to avoid both the police and the survivors, and did so as he pulled the circular steel man-hole cover that would hide his manner of movement and leave the trouble to the heroes that were the public's favorites.

As he slid down the man-hole ladder he could feel something was different from when he had exited the tunnel, he couldn't tell if it was just the air from the surface mixing well with the dank air bellow or if it was just his senses begin mixed up by his extended stay above ground. Then as he landed on the platform he could see there had clearly been someone going through the trash that covered the floor except from around the fire pit he had passed before.

Switching his view to his heat vision sensitive left eyes he was sure someone else was here with him now, and he was not particularly happy about it.Silently he moved towards the shadows trying to seek out the intruder into his realm of darkness.

Owen heard footsteps further down the tunnel. Someone else was here. His shotgun was already cocked, so he took it out and pointed, "Don't move a step. I have a gun and I know how to use it. Who are you with? The crazy Registrationists? I won't come willingly, though. You'll have to fight me before you lock me up. Then you'll know exactly how I play my game." His fingers held the trigger. "If you're looking for Owen Grady, I'm right here. I'm a superhuman with elemental powers and starlight-related powers. Come and get me if you want me."

The Defenders said goodbye to their friend Ara, who's help during the fight against Hydra was well appreciated. They now stood far from their home country with a few hundred refugees. The Pope, who had outwardly expressed his concern about the law when it was first passed a few months ago, was eager to provide refuge for any supers unwilling to register. During the 4 months before the law would take full effect, the Vatican sent messages to notable supers across the world in an effort to give Anti-Registrationists a heads up as far as where they could come for safety. Although the Pope knew this could potentially put the Vatican in danger, he had no second thoughts about the matter. As the number of refugees continues to increase, the likelihood that the UN will find out increases as well.

"Calm yourself, I am no freind of the Registrationists!" Patho said in the low guttural voice that this form made him sound like.He didn't have the best sounding voice when he was Patho and it wasn't 'friendly' but he tried to make it less confrontational despite the mutation.

"I am Patho, defender of the tired and the lost in the underbelly of this city." "I'm just wondering what your doing in my tunnels?" He asked, staying a good distance away but keeping pace with the man with the shotgun pointed at him.

"Well, Patho, I have made myself a target for the registrationists, and decided to hide in here. I had no idea it was your tunnel," Owen replied, lowering the shotgun. "Noble, quite noble. But I'm doubting your going to enjoy a stay in this particular tunnel." Patho said as he slowly stepped around Owen as he lowered the shotgun, circumventing him as he stood in the middle of the tunnel.

"If you are who you say you are then I am obliged to provide a fellow like-minded individual at least temporary shelter from the Pro-Regs.If you want to follow me I can bring you to a safer tunnel that's a bit farther from all the action than this one is, besides I only ran a couple of thugs who were using this place as a meeting point only half an hour ago." He explained as he backed away from Owen and receded into the darkness.

"Come along if you want, I'm staying out anyways but need to get a better look at something if found recently." Patho reached into his pocket and pulled out the rough thumb sized glass chuck.

Daniel Carter/Bronze Sentinel-38 Yrs-Northern Virginia

I listened as the man began to recite his mother's nursery rhyme. I listened to the verse, as it described our situation in detail. As he finished, the weaving words made me think of my own mother. Who in many ways, was the one who inspired my path that led to the figure I am now. After he finished his verse, I could not help to think that his mother sounded like a very wise woman. Craig then began to speak about how we would have to move from here. As she explained his situation, a set of armor, like the which I had never seen, wrapped itself around him. I could only describe the armor as being alive itself, as it seemed to share some sort of link to it's host. Far more advanced than my own Sentinel armor. As if comparing a cave man's spear to a F-22 Raptor. He told me of how he had heard about me, that I was supposed to be the best. A close quarters fighter with no equal. I myself rose from my seated position at this, and accepted his offer.

"If you can physically withstand the instruction, taking into account your current condition. I will show you what I know. Of course, with the limited time in our possession, I am afraid I wont be able to completely prepare you." It was then that Mayla stepped forward, telling Craig that he was right.

"This world has enough men trying to change it and protect it with bombs and weapons systems. It needed a man who would stand up and say that they were wrong. To be strong enough to tell humanity that another weapons system would not make them safer. That they needed a way to combat hunger, drought, disease and conflict. A world as corrupted as ours, does not need the war machines of reasonable men, but the dreams of an idealist. I met such a man..." Her own eyes then passed over me. And then back to Craig as she gently placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. "So trust me when I say, I can recognize another."

I did not show it on my face, but Mayla never ceased to amaze me.

Craig then mentioned he needed time to prepare. I took that as my own invitation to leave, and make sure that the evacuation of his company went smoothly. As both me and Mayla left the room, I turned to her and discussed our roles in the evacuation.

"Mayla, you should organize the effort to get these men and women out of here. I will position myself above and keep a watch for any potential strike. If I need you, you can simply use instant transmission to reach me." I then leaned in closer, stealing a kiss before we went about our roles in this Civil War. As Mayla then left me to direct the evacuation, and I used the power of the Lantern Ring to fly above the scene, and see for miles out in all directions.

Watching over the effort as a guardian.

Sabrina Carter/Star Girl-18 Yrs-New York City

"Yeah, not many have a grip like a being from Krypton." The fact that I was actually never from Krypton, and a clone of another being was left unsaid. Leading me inside, I saw two women making out on the couch, where I gave a very slight and brief surprised look, not expecting that to be the first sight that I saw. Valancy introduced me, and I stated my name for the record once more. "Sorry to walk in like this. Star Girl, I suppose is the name y'all are looking for?" I quizzed, using the obvious southern accent that I picked up from my father. Of course, it did not take me long before the news caught my attention, and a rather attractive anchor woman announced that soon a statement would be released in Washington DC about the new registration act, and that they would be providing news as it came in. It was the first I head about it and I pointed it out to the rest.

"So, does anyone else know anything about registering up as a hero? I am assuming that their jurisdiction would include this little group as well." I said, with the obvious. Wondering if anyone here had an opinion on the current events.

August Carter-13 Yrs-Gotham City

The fact that the woman seemed to be smiling...creeped me out. She seemed to be able to defend and counter despite the two pronged strategy. As even as Chorus slammed into her, she maneuvered mid air and went right back on the attack. Using drum sticks as weapons, I started to wonder if all of Chorus' enemies used musical instruments as weapons, and a conspiracy theory that they were all just less skilled pop stars who could not get the fame Chorus had, so they resort to trying to kill her. Actually made sense to my child like mind. But my own block was not fast enough, and what I assumed were simple drum sticks, slammed into me, with a bone creaking pain that sent be flying through a wall.

Coughing among the bricks and dust, I picked myself up, and climbed my way out of the rubble, embarrassed by how that must have looked to Chorus, her bodyguard being sent reeling so easily. But a strange sight occurred when both Chorus and Janice seemed much...shorter...than I remember. I ignored the feeling and once more charged at Janice, this time moving at a speed far greater than the last time and throwing a wall shattering punch in her direction, as I noticed that my fist, was now covered in a red gauntlet. Revealing the armor I seemed to be wearing when I 'woke up' and the fact that they were not shorter, I was in fact taller.

As Janice seemed to had accidently pushed me back into my....older August mode? Never mind, I will think of a cool name for it after I defeat Janice and impress Chorus I thought as my mind returned to the battle at hand.

The Shadow Sangoma's New York thugs

New York Dimond district, 12:00 pm
The New York diamond district was quiet aside from a few cars driving down the main street and the surrounding cities normal noises, almost everyone but the jewelers and the less scrupulous of citizens were oblivious to the millions of dollars in diamonds that was held in the drab grey buildings towering above them.No one could blame them for being ignorant in what was held in those buildings, because their contents were so well kept under lock and key with he best security money could buy. There was also the news of the Registration Act causing a fight among the 'hero's' who were fighting each other in what could have been called a civil war in Ney York just that day.But what would have interested them was the violent scene playing out on top of the jewelers mall parking garage.

Jabez wasn't really concerned if the average street urchins found out that he was beating this fat jeweler senseless on top of his own car, they like most of the Americans he had met so far, were weak and easily frightened away when it came to violence.Such violence like the type his accomplices Adeze and Jakko were performing on the fat ones freind named Harry just a few feet away while he cried in the fetal position in an attempt to block their kicks. The Americans for all their violent movies and their powerful military-complex, were oddly enough not willing to engage in such bloodshed. This was not the same for their 'Heros' who watched over them like babysitters and coddled them from the real worlds problems, problems that Jabez was more than willing to bring into use.

"We offer you much diamonds, for good price and you turn us down like common trash, we tell you who we work for, and you laugh in our face in disrespect to our masta." Jabez proceeded to slam his pistol down on the fat jewelers outstretched hand which he held outstretched over the cars hood, causing him to scream in pain as Jabez ground his pistol grip into the now broken finger bones.

"WELL WHO IS LAUGHING NOW!" Jabez laughed the same laugh he had when he was thrown out of this mans office only hours ago for offering diamonds from the work camps for cheap. He was telling the truth when he said he was offering the dimonds for cheap, almost unheard of in the diamond business .But when the fat man demanded to know where they were being supplied from, and he didn't like the awnser he got and had them promptly thrown out for trying to peddle 'conflict dimonds' in his workplace.

"Jakko, bring that one here!" Jabez commanded. And his command was fufilled as the fat man's freind and co-worker Harry was dragged whimpering across the asphalt of the parking area.

"Blood diamonds you Americans call these, I don't think it looks all that bloody, am I not right Adeze?" He said as he reache dinto his coat pocket to reveal a purple colored diamond that glowed with an unnatural aura of dark magics.

"Let us fix that." Jabez announced as he held the odd diamond up as if he was going to appraise it like the dimond dealers had.

He suddenly stabbed the pointed diamond into the scrawny mans chest with enough force to break the skin and become lodged into his chestbone. The scrawny one screamed out before he fell to the ground unconscious, weather it was from shock or if he had actually died right then and there Jabez couldn't tell but then again he didn't care much either way.The message was clear for the now utterly panicked fat man who continued to hold his bloodied and broken hand as he watched his freind lay limp on the asphalt.

"You will buy the diamonds and you will continue to do so until my master has set you free." Jabez said to the limp man on the ground, almost as if the man was still alive and well instead of lying dead on the ground.

Suddenly the diamond in the scrawny mans chest began to slide into and melt through his flesh, healing his injury and those that he had recived from the two thugs earlier.Like a zombie from the movies he stood up straight without any extra movements in his body and looked at Jabez with his eyes rolled back in a horrifying mix of pain and emptiness, his fat friend trembled with fear.

"We will buy the diamonds and will continue to do so until the master has set us free." the scrawny man repeated back in an inhumanly monotone voice.Showing no hatred or fear that his face had portrayed only moments ago in his life.

"Good, gentlemen I feel like the negotiations went well.If you feel like conversing with us more on this deal, just call, and if you say a word of this to the police I will have your own freind here your break neck!" Jabez smacked his fist aginst his open palm simulating the effect of his promise.

Flicking a business card out of his jacket pocket and slipping it into the scrawny mans shirt pocket, he and his two associates walked away form the roof like nothing had ever happened.Leaving both of the diamond dealers alone on top of that parking garage.

The fat man now regretted dialing 911 about the men hanging around outside his workplace just a few minutes before he had tried to shoo them off and the attack had begun. But now that he and Harry were alone and alive they could decide what to do together wihout the pressure of those thugs bearing on them.

"Harry what the hell just happened to you, that diamond he stabbed you with ... it ... just ..." Jim stuttered out the words once he was sure those African wackjobs were gone.

"What diamond Jim, there was no diamond, we were just about to go back inside and change that account to Sangoma Diamond Exports, don't you remember?" Harry said in a voice that wasn't all his own.

"Harry I called the police before this all happened if you'd just stop it and ... what are you doing? ... gah ... PLEASE ... stop ... HARRY." Jim gagged out a few gasps of breath as his throat collapsed under Harry's crushing grip around it.

The fat Jim fellow was dead, and with the police on their way Giza Daktari had the option to either let this new thrall Harry get caught or to kill himself. But not before he changed those accounts for Sangoma diamonds to flood the Los Angeles market and bring him much needed capital for his trip there.Daktari felt a bit bored controlling this man and could feel a presence of powerful forces moving about the east coast even from his fortress in Africa, so after going back into the office and changing the account to approved, Harry calmly walked off the roof and fell to his death twelve stories below...

Far away in Africa, The maniacal laughs of the Shadow Sangoma reverberated throughout his fortress.

"A war...for the Fate of the Mad God."

Ragnarök War
Part One: Dying and Rising;
Or the Death of Otto Godblessed

The universe was sick, corrupted, dying, and the forces that danced beyond it's quantum walls called for it's ultimate and untimely demise. Heralded by Darkstar, another version of Maxwell Morningstar, those forces destroyed the home of the Monitors and the Monitors themselves, taking residence in their Monitor Sphere, and began a systemic purge of any available universe within the Beyond Multiverse in search of the Prime Reality. Their aggression in the multiverse and the efforts undertaken by 'Mad' Max to prevent their arrival in the prime reality has been dubbed the "Darkstar Crisis", and Darkstar's arrival in our reality has triggered the Ragnarök War, pitting the Mad God Morningstar against the Dead God Darkstar, in an epic battle spanning reality and holding the fate of the universe, themselves, and their allies in the balance.

As the All-Mother left to aid Morningstar and Valentine, the two comrades jumped to attention in order to follow and join in the fight against Galactus and the Celestials. Rubbing their fists, weapons capable of smashing apart planets, Otto and Mir looked at one another like two brothers separated at birth, a sense of thrill and competition coming from just being in the other's presence, the feeling of simply wanting to not let the other down allowing both Daxamite and Asgardian to rise to whatever occasion demanded their action. They did what they needed to do under Max's order and through their own combined efforts achieved success, but a strange feeling took hold of the duo.

It was as if the universe contracted, repulsed at whatever action had been done, and a sense of both dread and wrongness washed over Mir and Otto like a crippling tsunami of nausea. The two swallowed to their guts to stop from vomiting, and looked to each other in confusion. "The hell is that I'm feeling..." Mir asked Godblessed, the Daxamite grabbing his midsection in pain. "Did the universe just get sucker punched?"

"I...I don't know." Otto said honestly, "Perhaps it's something to do with the Nexus." He then suggested, Mir nodding and accepting that as the truth. What they didn't know was that something was indeed wrong with the universe, and Mir was not too off by saying it was punched in the gut. A living disease of death and pestilence had transcended the Monitor Sphere and arrived in their reality, soaked with the blood of countless other universes and gods upon it's dark blade. Another had heralded it's arrival, but the Snake had already chosen a victim, while Nul Tyranis needed his own. "Let's get going." Otto said, Mir following in tow.

Formless shadows in the void of space were almost unseen and unrecognizable due to the depth of interstellar space and it's pitch black atmosphere, but a keen eye could spot the shadows as they passed over nearby stars and galaxies in the distance, temporarily clouding their vision. Mir shook his head for a moment, unsure of what he was seeing, but stopped following Otto as an organic shadow formed between them, dancing like a wild flame, it's shape slowly becoming more and more humanoid in appearance than the feral shadow that preceded it. "What the hell is that?!" Mir shouted, the shadow peeling back away to reveal the shape of a man, his face sullen and his eyes seemingly dead, a piece of shadow remaining around his right hand. Otto turned his head, or more accurately, began to turn his head, when the being struck from behind.

Otto gasped out and looked down at his abdomen, disturbingly watching as a pure black blade slide it's way out of his stomach and caused his back to arch against his will, the Asgardian screaming with primal fear and disgust, the blade ripping itself out the way it had came in an instant, Nul Tyranis flicking it to the side. As he flicked the shadowy sword, deep crimson blood spattered in the direction, the rest of the blood absorbing into the depths of All-Black. Tyranis grabbed Godblessed by his hair in that same moment, rearing back and stabbing the God's body once more, this slamming the blade in the middle of Otto's back and going through his chest, this time, the Asgardian wheezed as air left his lungs.

Mir acted after the first stab, but was unable to prevent the second as he wrapped his forearms around Nul's neck, screaming, "You dead motherfucker!", and ripping as hard as he could, and pulling Nul's head completely off. With his ring, Mir then sent a blast of yellow solar energy directly at the shadow, chasing the darkness away momentarily, getting a glimpse at the bastard's head. Mir gasped as he looked at it - recognizing it as a Kryptonian, but the identity escaping him. Still, the head evaporated away with the man's body, and Mir's concern now came to his comrade. "O-Otto..." He yelped, floating over to his friend and comrade, who drifted lazily in the vacuum of space.

Godblessed's body seized as it struggled to remain conscious, the half-Asgardian weakly reaching out to Mir, the wounds from Nul's vicious assault not bleeding, as All-Black drained him significantly of Godblood. "I...I don't have time, Mir." He said weakly, barely able to form the words due to loss of breath. In his agony, Otto reached into his chest pocket - the stab wound narrowly missing it - and produced a small syringe filled with yellow liquid. "Th...This...Is Max's version..." He coughed, a small amount of blood finding it's way out of his stab wounds. Otto's eyes were jammed closed as he continued, Mir grabbing onto his friend's hand. "Of the Sentry...Serum."

"Otto, please, I can get you out of here, I can -" He stopped, realizing that the All-Mother was battling Galactus and the Celestials, and he had no clue where else to go to help his brother. "I can...I can help." He muttered, his lips cowering as he tried form another word, but only a gasp escaping as he entire face shook, unable to deal with the sight before him. Otto was no friend, no ally, he was a brother first and foremost, and to see him so close to death rattled him to his very core. "I can't let you die..." Mir sobbed, tears streaming down his face as he put his head on Otto's chest, his chest moving up and down as he poured out his emotions. Otto weakly grasped the back of Mir's head, the Asgardian grunting in pain, but not letting Mir see it. Otto lifted the syringe to Mir's neck, and before he stabbed it in, he said his good bye to the Daxam's Native Son.

"I'll always be with you, Mir, even if you can't see me." Otto slipped his trusted ring, Draupnir, into Mir's pocket and jammed the vial containing the alternate version of the Sentry Serum deep into Czar-Mir's neck in a fluid motion, pushing down on the stopper until it emptied it's contents in only a few nanoseconds. Otto's hand limply fell backwards and to his side, his body growing cold, his breath finally slowing to a stop. Mir took a massive inhale of air, his eyes flying open as the power surged within him and binded to his molecules and cells. A low growl formed in his throat, but fully developed into a massive, planet erasing roar as Mir lifted his upper body from Otto's, feeling it's life force fade.

An explosion of incredible caliber, capable of single-handedly ending the entire battle - the one fought over the Nexus with the Green Lanterns and New Gods - in one fell swoop. Mir rose and screamed again, his voice box threatening to rip apart as the tears over a fallen comrade were turned into an unsettled, unfulfilled rage. The light and energy coursing through his body looked as if a new galaxy were forming, not a mere star, as Czar-Mir of Daxam was enhanced with the power of one million exploding suns. A rational soul was turn and run at such a sight, but Nul Tyranis was no rational being. He was only a servant of the Dead God, and he watched with little interest as the scene between Mir and Otto developed, and seemed to ascend to powers rivaling that of Gods.

Nul Tyranis took shape and form, making himself visible to Czar Mir, the cascade of light produced by the Daxamite almost clouded out by the Kryptonian and All-Black. Mir eyed the man with unknowable anger, raising his hand and forming it into a fist - a nearby star behind Mir exploding violently as he did so. Nul tightened his body and assumed a combat stance, All-Black positioned behind his leading hand, but the other worldy Kryptonian shot forward unexpectedly, Mir doing the same - his fist leading him, while Nul put All-Black at the head of his charge.

A collision that would spell doom for nearby star systems, their battle would play only second fiddle to the one between Darkstar and Morningstar.

Morningstar

Max and Val watched in awe as the All-Mother, who had just healed Max's lady to be, go toe and toe with a well-fed Galactus, crashing the World Eater to the planet below and still standing, though damaged, and motioning for them to continue. The Celestials made no motion against the trio, but cast their glances to each other. It was as if they made silent conversation between themselves, before declaring a single word in unison: "COMBINE." The three cosmic beings began to glow and irradiate a splendid light, cackles of electricity forming along their bodies and arcing from one Celestial to another, before a final light flashed, and where three once stood, a massive, singular Celestial stood in their place.

It raised a lone hand against the All-Mother, powerful energies beyond the cosmic realm drawing into it and readying to obliterate Valka. Max, instead of watching, heeded Valka's order and rushed toward the Nexus of All Realities, leaving the All-Mother to fend for herself, but a few Valkyries arriving at her side for support. Max had no time left to question them, if they were taking Valka to heal or joining in the fight - Max reasoned that he could close the Nexus and aid the All-Mother immediately after. As he neared the M'Kraan Crystal, a deep pink glow engulfed his body, and he reached the crystal itself, Max extend his hand to simply touch it. In an instant, he was transported to an alien city located within the Crystal, it's beauty and expansion far surprising his mortal mind.

At the city's center was a glowing sphere of energy, Max singling it out as it held the vibrant power that attracted him to the Nexus. Another source of immense energy was the White Hot Room, the point of operations for the Phoenix and the Phoenix Force, the be all and end all of life in the universe, but Max dare not stray into it's depths, as he was there for a singular purpose, and made his way to the energy sphere at the city center. Max gazed upon the sphere with transfixed eyes, the neutron galaxy hosting a single star that united all points of reality into a single point. He reached out to touch it, withdraw our own universal energy from the center mass, but recoiled his hand as another being phased into appearance before him. Towering above Max's form and extending two hands over the Mad God, the multi-faced being known as the Living Tribunal stood to challenge him as well.

"No way..." Max said under his breath, "The Living Tribunal..."

"Maxwell Morningstar..." It began, but was interrupted by Mad Max.

"Tribunal, please! You exist in all realities, you know what's going on within them! You've seen the devastation Darkstar has been creating. You too cannot deny me access to the Nexus knowing what you know." Max said, passionate emotion in his voice, "Tribunal, judge my prior actions and the ones I shall take to ensure this universe lives, see for yourself that I am not the demon Galactus believes me to be!" Max cried, throwing off his helmet in desparation, searching for any and all reasons to make the Tribunal yield, or even gain his assent. "You yourself can save our universe by closing the Nexus, right? There is still time!"

"No, Messiah." The Living Tribunal boomed, "I have not come to oppose you." The words confused Max, who twisted his face to show such strangeness. "I have come for you, and to tell you," He further said, extending his arms away from Max, a sudden rot and decay engulfing the alien city within the Crystal, all originating from the Nexus. "That you are out of time." As those words sank in, the Living Tribunal phased from in front of Max to behind him, allowing him to see the events unfold first hand. The blackened rot pulsated from the Nexus a few times, mimicking a rotten heart beating, and finally, it spewed forth the unspeakable horror that befell hundreds of thousands of universes before it. A lone chair emerged from the neutron galaxy by force - sending ripples across reality, the universe itself reacting to the perverse entrance of Darkstar.

Then, Maxwell saw his face. One he woke up and saw every morning, one exactly like his own, the enigmatic being known as Darkstar very clearly and understandably similar to Max in appearance because he was Max, in a different universe. Not only that, but Max recognized it before as well. This Darkstar...He was the very counter-part Max saw only in passing on the Ultimate Earth, where the Mad God had torched that planet's hopes of surviving The End. Darkstar has plotted for revenge since that moment, and when the two locked eyes, they were both taken back to that fateful hour, where one survived the collapse of the Multiverse, and the other died and was remade. Dread and fear took over the Celestial Messiah, as it all came full circle. He was the one who set these events in motion, by ensuring his own Ark survived, he doomed thousands of universes to death.

Darkstar sat forward in his chair, raising his palm towards Mad Max and the Living Tribunal, a sphere of condensed Anti-Energy forming within it, and he launched it at the Tribunal and Mad God. Max formed two of his own spheres of energy, preparing to counteract Darkstar's own, but before he could block the blow, the Living Tribunal waved his hand, and he and Max were far from the potential battlefield. "Morningstar, I bring you here as the Celestial Redeemer. This is my Star Chamber, where I pass judgement on all. Your sins will be absolved, but for that, you must engage Darkstar."

"I shall, without question." Maxwell said at the ready, clinching his fist together and looking straight at the Tribunal, his eyes true and determined. Maxwell took this time to look around the Star Chamber, finding it to be similar to the vacuum of space, but noting that it was akin to watching it through a one-way mirror. A barrier that separated the universe at large from the judgement quarters of the Living Tribunal - one that placed him outside of the timestream and the events of reality at large. The Mad God turned back to face the Tribunal, hearing his words intently.

"But...You are not powerful enough." The Tribunal explained, Maxwell undeterred at the words. "I am tasked with restoring the balance of this universe...And the Multiverse." LT further explained, "And to that end, I will gift to you an artifact of my will rendered physical. My blessing as the eternal judge, your sword to cleave apart Darkstar, and your bandage to heal his damage." The Living Tribunal put his hand outward and sent powerful electrical shocks against the floor of his Star Chamber, a circle of lightning-based energy forming, and suddenly giving rise to a hilt, followed by an entire blade. "The Infinity Gauntlet was a device not meant to wielded alone, Morningstar. It was meant to wield a weapon."

"Behold, the Infinity Sword." The Tribunal said, a full sword appearing, floating within the energy field created by the Living Tribunal. "I have carefully locked the weapon away, leaving the Infinity Gems and the Gauntlet within the universe as they are needed for reality to operate, whereas the Blade is but an expression, an abstract, and thus, unneeded by any mortal. On this day, however, you will wield it with my permission." Maxwell nodded, swallowing hard as he laid eyes upon a weapon no other mortal had yet seen, stepping forward to receive it from the Living Tribunal. He reached out and into the electrical field that kept it aloft, grabbing onto it's hilt and pulling it free without much effort, looking at the gleaming surface of the blade as Max held it up.

Suddenly, the Infinity Sword began to draw itself into Max's arm, the Mad God gasping out at the motion. "It's...it's absorbing into my being!" He yelled out, the blade suddenly becoming a white, formless energy, and slowly disappearing into Max's arm, distributing itself among his body. Maxwell breathed in and out, looking at his hands as he felt the massive, yet controllable power course within him - far surpassing the energy he absorbed from Alex long ago by leaps and bounds, a quick awareness of cosmic reality flooding his mind as his brain unlocked it's full potential to process it. "I...I can see everything. I can know everything." Max said, his eyes glowing a bright white-blue color, the Living Tribunal gazing on at what he had created.

"You are armed with the Infinity Blade and the Ragnarok Equation." The Tribunal said, Max gasping as he realized that of all the beings to know of his power origins, it would be the Living Tribunal. "You found the Equation long ago on Earth, did you not? The power to reverse entropy, expressed as energy absorption, the power you possess. It is why you call it's ultimate ability the Ragnarok Sanction. Your fathers' work made it possible to uncover, where others failed long ago, and you have used it to balance this universe. That is why I allow you to keep it, Morningstar, as this battle will be won with it, this Ragnarok War will be in your victory."

Darkstar

"Such a lovely day for obliteration."

Those were the first words out of the Dead God's mouth - the multiversal entity emerging from the M'Kraan Crystal on his floating power chair, the vehicle originally belonging to the New God, Metron, but stolen by Darkstar following Morningstar acquiring it for powering his Ark before the Secret Wars. "Hmm?" He hummed, looking at the scene before him as he made his appearance in the Prime Reality. The Super Celestial was preparing to unleash it's full fury against the defenseless Asgardian, whose energy Darkstar immediately recognized as Skyfather-level, making note that she was All-Mother of Asgard. "Such a pretty thing you are," Darkstar said, referring to Valka, "You deserve death at my hand, not some pretender-gods." Darkstar further declared, lifting his palm to the sky, forming his fingers together, touching his thumb to his middle finger and extending his index finger outward.

Darkstar moved his thumb and made his middle finger slap against his palm - snapping his fingers - and causing a wave of anti-energy to flood behind him and engulf the Super Celestial, who turned with a fuzzled scream of surprise and fear, it's energy instantly overpowered and simply destroyed by the onslaught of anti-energy unleashed by Darkstar. It's being was consumed by the wave, stopping short of the All-Mother and her Valkyries, and recoiling back to Darkstar. From his seat, he smiled in a grotesque, needless grin as he was party to the simple annihilation of the combined might of three Celestials. With the snap of his fingers. "All-Mother, do tell me your name, as I shall cast it heavenward in due time. Tell me - where do Asgardians go after I destroy both Asgard and Valhalla? Once Madworld falls, I shall pay you and your kind a visit."

As the Dead God spoke of death so casually and without remorse, his entourage began to spew forth from the M'Kraan Crystal, led by a sole woman of attractive appearance, behind her a massive series of space stations and battleships alien in design and motion, moving space around them instead of going through it. The woman took her place beside Darkstar, who stared at the All-Mother and her Asgardian companions. He wrapped one his arms around the girl who leaned against his arm rest, bringing her closer to him. "Rose, tell me, what do you see in those there?" Darkstar asked, the girl robotically turning to look at Darkstar, and then Valka.

"I see..." Rose began, "I see nothing." Darkstar smiled at this, squeezing the girl's hip roughly as he smirked.

"Good, good. You see, All-Mother, Rose can see realities past and present. She is the All-Seer, Stargazer." Darkstar explained, lifting his open hand so that his palm faced Valka and her Valkyries. "Take me on, then, All-Mother, I will taste your sword." Darkstar taunted, a powerful sphere of anti-energy forming in his palms, condensing and collapsing to produce a massive attack, "Allow Dead God Darkstar to savor it's flavor."

Being as naive as he was, he didn't register in his mind that they were bad guys until they opened fire. At him too! He hadn't even done anything wrong! At least he didn't think he did. A shot from a rail gun came right for his forehead and he caught the round. Just barely. "Hey! That could have killed me! What did I do to you?!" He demanded and dropped the slug.

what seemed to be the commander put her sights on the young child. He didn't just get lucky enough to dodge the shot from the railgun, or even just withstand it. He actually caught it. Given his bright blue skin, tail, and pointed ears, it was obvious that he wasn't a native to Earth. Another scan showed that he was putting off some form of energy whenever he moved at faster than normal speeds. Leaving a trail of the blue lightning whenever he moved. Which was often and fast. Out of curiosity, she switched to the much more explosive plasma rounds and fired a burst at the little speedster.

The blasts tore and melted most of the ground apart, but when the smoke and ash cleared, Talak was gone. The next thing she knew her armor was damaged. Specifically one of the guns had large dents, like some large animal had tried to attack it. She turned around to see Talak waving his hands around in the air. "Owowowowowow! How did Dad do this?" Talak muttered having yet to learn how to use the Speed Force to cushion the blows to his hands. "Come out of there and fight me!"

"Yah might not want that, man." Jake said, smashing to the ground in front of Talak. Behind him was a trail of smashed and burnt bits of ships and mecha. "They're not so tough, but they really sting when they hit."

With that, the young man leaped up and rejoined the fray, presumably leaving Talak more than a bit confused. Whatever. Jake was having fun, as he grabbed onto the bottom of a Rantu ship and slashed it in half with his heat vision, before landing on top of another. A burst of energy, and the ships was smashed to flinders, but the force of the blast flung Jake away, landing near the white figure.

"Crap crap crap." he said, scooting away slightly and rising to his feet. "HEY! YOU, WITH THE UGLY…NESS! C'MON! YAH THINK YAH CAN TAKE ME!" Jake shouted, and let loose a short blast of heat vision at the white figure.

"Don't you dare fucking call me Superman wannabe! I'm not HIM!" screamed Len. He was angry now, first because of the oppressive report, and the second because this Reclaimer man claimed he was a Superman wannabe. He's not, he killed people, and he felt no regret over it.

He grabbed one of the soldier and threw him to the Reclaimer, as the few superhumans there fought the soldiers, wanting no part at the government as well, one even blast a fire wave to the military truck, tried to burned it to the ground but it was exploded, caused scene. Reclaimer cursed as he was hit backwards by a soldier into the wall. "Alright men, this one is a Kryptonian. Take your orders from Boxer until the League or the Avengers get here."
He grabbed the soldier's gun. "Is that all you got?" He called towards the Kryptonian, releasing a flurry of (admittedly useless) bullets, before launching himself forward. He threw the gun in front of him to distract the Kryptonian, before trying once more to slam his fist down with all his strength.

New York City

"Today, SHIELD have officially authorized our own superhero group, to partnering up with the new Avengers from Stark's leadership. While his group mostly filled with superhumans, ours are balanced. We have Agent Zero, he's the sniper and the leader. Then we have Rogue, our female spy, and then Deadshot and Sportsmaster. They are not the good guys here, because we are not the good guys, we are the people who will support the Act, and will do anything, beyond being good. Then we have Ant-Man, Blue Beetle, Falcon, and War Machine. People, these are the Dark Recon, SHIELD-authorized and sanctioned, group." said Nick Fury, Director of SHIELD to the people as a news.

However, Len spared the GCPD officers, he does nothing to them, as he targeting only the soldiers.

"Fight my comrades! Fight for our freedom!" yelled Len. Unknown to him, he began to be shaped like his pre-Earth form, where he is a military officer.

Boxer sighed. He started this day hoping to end it with a nice, relaxing cup of coffee. Instead, he was firing bullets at superhumans. Because that always works out well. Regardless, he aimed carefully, trying to take out each of the (non-Kryptonian) superhumans in the crowd. "Runners, grab a target. I want simultaneous ranged attacks on Hothead, Acid Spit, and Spikey." He said, referring to the fire manipulator, a superhuman with acid spit, and a strong superhuman with spike shoulders. "And.. "Those bullets won't do me any harm!" said Len, as the bullets pierce through him with no injuries. The gun he threw, was kind of a distraction, as the Reclaimer slammed his fist to him. "Errrgh!" hummed Len. The punch was strong, but was not enough for him to be defeated. "Take this!" Len yelled as he delivers a punch to Reclaimer with half of his strength.

Reclaimer was blown back through a nearby wall, a hole in his stomach from such a strike by a Kryptonian. He slowly tried to rise, before his eyes glazed over and he fell forward. "Wh-What.."
At the same time, several members of the Justice League arrived, seeing only a Kryptonian, a broken wall, and the blood on the Kryptonian's hands.

Boxer smiled. "Alright. All three superhumans disabled, Acid Spit accidently killed." He watched as the military carted away the captured superhumans. "Commissioner, Reclaimer was right. It's a damn warz-" He watched in shock as Reclaimer went through the wall. "Oh holy... Reclaimer is down. Justice League on site, and I cannot get to Reclaimer to confirm if he's alive. Dammit."

Cora
Cora nodded to Sabrina when she told them her name as well as her hero alias which apparently was Stargirl. Sabrina had a curious accent that Cora wasn't very familiar with, but she had been told it was rude to question such things, so she decided to refrain from asking.

She noticed her surprise when she saw Katie and her kissing and Cora was quite embarrassed by that. She was usually very shy about this kind of thing and kissing Katie in public wasn't something she had intended on doing. Luckily there seemed to be something else going on when Sabrina pointed to the news about the UN ordering heroes to register. They also reported that a scientist had leaked files on secret weapons projects. Apparently they had even tortured the poor man to try to force him to help them.

Cora frowned deeply at that. She knew what torture felt like, and she hated anyone who would do that to another person. She began to have flashbacks to her own experiences, and had somewhat of a distant look on her face, her own screams echoing in her mind.

"Well... I'm... I'm not sure how I feel about it." Cora said to the group. That wasn't the complete truth, but the distressed look on Cora's face made it clear that she was not very comfortable talking about it. Katie was still the only one who knew the details of what she had gone through. She was the only one that Cora had been able to bear sharing the story with.

As Okarot meditated in a barren wasteland, his thoughts occupied with the form he had attained the four months before, he couldn't help but wonder. Was such power worth it to attain. With that power, sure, he became one of the most powerful beings in the universe, but, what would be the point of existence? Without any goals, without any challenge, and instead nothing but limitless power, why even go on existing. It would be like going to an amusement park with no working rides, only stagnant machines. He wasn't really sure if that's what he wanted.

But, at the same time, part of him craved the power, and wanted to feel it rushing through him once more. The feeling it gave him, the burn of the immense energy was incredible. It made him feel invincible, like he was impossible to defeat. And an extent, this was not simply a feeling. In the form he had attained, he would be hard pressed to find an enemy that could physically best him, but, as alluring as the thought was, such a power left him with nothing to do.

Not to mention, with that power, he might not even still be him. The power he had felt was not like the way he was. Sure, Okarot was overly confident in himself, arrogant and often aggressive, but it was rare that he experienced true hatred. And, it was almost all the energy he had felt was made out of, nothing but hatred and rage. If it were to take over his mind, he wouldn't be him anymore. He would be just like the opponent he had fought, only more mindless. Okarot had caught a glimpse of what he would have become when he punched Superdoom, and, could swear for a moment, that he was seeing through the eyes of another being, but still himself. Only, the eyes he was seeing through were those of a being unhampered by mental barriers, and one that was completely taken over.

But, Okarot had little time to dwell on these events, as he felt a massive power emerge in New York, even greater than that of Superdoom's. And, it was one that he recognized. The power he felt was that of Alex. As the Saiyan got up, a white flash surrounded him, and his hair turned bleach white, his pupils doing the same, and his irises becoming black. The power of the Celestial Super Saiyan rushed through him, restrained to allow for him to use it with minimal risk. He had a bad feeling, especially after feeling power boosts from Naja. Not only that, but Alex felt cold, like a blank slate. It likely had something to do with that ridiculous registration act, something Okarot was too proud to bring himself to signup for.

The Saiyan suddenly disappeared, teleporting right in front of Alex, staring him in the eyes, which were void of any expression. Okarot tried to sense through his energy if there was any emotion, but there was nothing there. Speaking in a slightly unsettled tone, the Saiyan spoke, "Alex...", he said, leaning forward slightly, "What happened to you?"

Though the mention of her dear wayward brother, Asra, was like the stab of a needle through her metaphorical heart, Etla forced herself to smile warmly for her older sister's sake, brushing past the pain of the tragedy she herself had caused. Idly, she wondered where in the vast universe her brother could possibly be, but once again, she had to dismiss these thoughts, even if it was sadness which drove them this time and not anger. After all, regardless of whatever thoughts crossed through her mind, she was well aware that what she had to do now was comfort her sister and mend her lover.

Placing a hand on Ihra's shoulder, the shorter Rainborn nodded at her. "I hope you do, Ihra. There's too many wonderful things in this world for you to let the words of a big red meanie sour you. There's no reason that you should listen to him more than to your cool sister, right?" She said cheerfully. She didn't want her sister to get bitter so soon after all, to give up on the world that to her had been so full of wonder, despite being so full of terror as well. A year ago, she and Craig had spent some time showing Ihra around, and yet, she felt that there was still so much more to explore, not just for Ihra, but for herself as well. She had seen it in her arrival and even throughout the Secret Wars, and she wanted Ihra to see it too.

Alas, now was not the time for that, and a mellow voice soon brought this fact to the front of Etla's thoughts.

"We have everything you asked for, ma'am." The female employee stated without much emotion, adjusting her glasses. "We brought you some tools as well."

Noticing that, indeed, all her demands had been properly satisfied, Etla nodded at them and dismissed them, before turning to Ihra. "I have some work to do now, but you're free to stay here with me if you want, Ihra. Just... feel free to talk but don't interfere, alright? I'll be completely fine, I promise, so don't worry even if it looks like I'm not." She said softly, her ominous words likely making the redhead begin worrying already, though the blonde Rainborn felt that, despite that, it was a necessary statement.

Now done speaking, Etla walked towards the table where all of the components had been laid out, in order to begin working on the Core that would encase her beloved's frail heart. It did not seem, at first, that she would have any use for the tools provided, as Craig's blood, which she now used as a Core, granted her technopathic capabilities, allowing her to assemble all of the raw components provided into more complicated forms with ease, without having to move a finger. However, this was only a small part of the process, as it had been evident to her from the start that human technology, while indeed very sophisticated and helpful, was entirely incapable of replicating the abstract technological miracle that was a Core. For that, certain components would be needed, components that had no equivalent in terms of human technology, and indeed, no equivalent whatsoever in the whole of the universe, as they were created beyond.

It was thus that Etla reached into her own chest with one of the tools laid out on the table and retrieved a small black piece, and then another, and another. If her dear Craig needed pieces of a Core in order to survive, then so be it. She would give him pieces of her Core.

Myosai didn't know what to expect from Hiroshi. He niftily dodges all of the energy spheres that converged on him like missiles. Then he just disappears from plain sight?

A slight whizz sound was heard as Hiroshi fades away from existence. Myosai halted immediately, shocked at what had happened/ Until she realized what actually happened. In reality, Hiroshi had done the most basic combat maneuver- an instant transmission. Even Myosai could use those. She knew at any moment he could appear around her, so she had to anticipate where. Quickly thinking, she looked around the area like an attentive dog, before turning straight around.

Hiroshi had appeared out of nowhere, about to slam his arms down onto her back. Since she was facing him, she could easily lean backwards, out of the way, which she did. Hiroshi's arms swiped by her face, and she grinned, sweating slightly from the heat of his Aura.

She did not expect him to raise a knee and hit her in the back. This sent the light Myosai flying, where she reached an angle where she could pull of f a nifty acrobatic move, on the ground. Plummeting towards the sand, she sprung her arms out, summersaulting over a sand dune as she re-orineted herself to a level position where she could fire more energy waves at him. Myosai grinned, assuming her fighting stance as she leveled herself to Hiroshi's position. Still floating, she chuckled. "So, I'm guessing you've figured it out already, huh?" She mockingly flicked a hand through her 'hair', her aura burning at a much more intense rate and heat. "I primarily use ranged attacks, you know, right? You're the first one to figure that out.."

Her eyes stared into Hiroshi's. "That doesn't matter. We both are beasts in close combat. If you want me to get up close and personal, I'm fine with that."

This was different. She seemed a bit more snarky and playful this time. Was this a trap, or not?

Myosai's golden aura burned to a point where even smoke rose from the floor. She fired a small ki blast into the rather thick sand dune, sending a huge cloud of sandy smoke into the air, covering her maneuver. She dove into the Sand, speeding through the ground as her aura created a tunnel for her. Once she sensed Hiroshi's power, she dove up from the sand, kicking forth a large cloud of the dusty sand as a ki sphere appeared in her right palm. Using another one of this 'Nanashi' dude's moves, Myosai crushed the orb of ki in her palm, surrounding it in a purple, flame-like aura radiating with power. Although she was in nowhere near of a punching distance from Hiroshi, she could still stretch herself and use most of the abilities she was born with as a Majin. She swiped towards Hiroshi, her arm stretching to an amazing length as her fist, surrounded by the pink Aura, closed in on Hiroshi.

If he didn't dodge this, he'd seriously be in some trouble.

------

Satan City

Nanashi's afterimage faded away from hirudegarn's vision as the lower half of the monster swiped his tail towards his position. With the monster now having an open spot, Nanshi summoned a green-white ki sphere in his palm, crushing it promptly. This surrounded his arm with an aura that radiated energy from it steadily, highly concentrated into his fist to increase the damage output of a regular, devastating punch.

"Guys, he's open for attack!" Nanashi yelled as hirudegarn swiped his tail again, severing a building from it's frame and sending it toppling. "He's open for an attack from us while he's attacking! That's when he's vulnerable!"

Krillin, Yamcha, and Nanashi all charged at once, Krillin firing a Destructo Disc at the monster's foot to no avail as Yamcha steadily slammed a Spirit Ball into Hirudegarn's lower frame, to no visible affect.

With a swipe of the tail, Hirudegarn quickly took Krillin and Yamcha out of commission by slamming them into a building.

"For fucks sakes- why couldn't I take fucking Piccolo with me instead of these two idiots?!" Nanashi grumbled. He powered up and dive-bombed hirudegarn, Instant Transmissioning out of the way of an attack by the lower half of the Monster. He then dove downwards while he was vulnerable, shouting a battle cry as well as the name of his signature attack.

"Brick BREAKER!!"

Nanashi's fist collided with the central part of the Lower half of the monster, sending his body sliding through several tows of buildings. The sky grew dark as Hoi unleashed more of his dark magic, visibly affecting Tapion as he let out a painful scream.

Nanashi looked in awe and terror as he saw first the silhouette, then the whole body of the terrible upper half of Hirudegarn come forth from his body. Nanashi couldn't help but watch as the two parts of Hirudegarn merged, Hoi's maniacal laughter and lightning striking in the background as the monster bellowed a roar heard for miles.

"You fools! You are all dead men now! You shall now know to fear the name Hirudegarn!" Hoi cackled. "Now you all shall face the wrath of The Dragon!"

His maniacal laughter echoed through the entire city as Nanashi lowered himself down to Krillin, Yamcha, and Tapion's position. "I'm.. sorry, Tapion. I just couldn't kill you- I just met you and all, but, killing someone like you is.. wrong.. in my opinion.. You are our only hope, you know that, right?"

Tapion shook his head. "That's nice.. but you're wrong. You-" He weakly pointed a finger at Nanashi and the rest of the Z Fighters. "You are our only hope. You have the power to defeat him and you know it.. Embrace it and end this evil, once and for all.."

"Are you done with your sad little speech?" Hoi asked. "Or are you just sitting there to let Hirudegarn crush you like your worthless little brother?"

Tapion's eyes shot wide open as he gasped loudly, as if he were affected by Hoi's words. Nanashi balled his fist, sharing his anger and pain with the weakened Tapion.

He slowly unhooked his Sword sheath from his belt, handing it to Nanashi. "Take it. Make him pay."

Hiroshi:

Raising an eyebrow, Hiroshi narrowed his gaze and crossed his a DMs, his emerald eyes ur rowing into Myosais as he floated steadily in the air.

" Why so cocky? We've only just begun the fight. I dodged all of your Ki attacks and struck at you, while you haven't gotten a scratch on me yet." The Super Saiyan shouted, his voice coming out muffled by the shriek of his Super Saiyan aura.

Then it happened. Somehting about the way she tossed her hair, the air of confidence, yet it was unbearably teasing to the Saiyan. Swallowing, Hiroshi's eyes darted around her petite frame, noticing every curve of her body. His throat had tightened, his tongue dragging against the roof of his now dry mouth. A heat had begun to form in the pit of his stomach, the heat spreading throughout his frame and ending at the tip of his now unfurled tail.

Shaking his head, Hiroshi had mere seconds to notice the pink fist that slammed into his cheek, his head jerking backwards violently, a bruise exploding on the flesh. The momentum of the strike carrying him backwards, Hiroshi snapped out his leg, the heel of his boot impacting her abdomen, his fist arcing from the side, his knuckles snapping across her jawline.

Myosai

Well, that worked.

Hiroshi's leg slammed into the side of Myosai's chest in a rather Painful area, causing her to double over in pain for a split second. This gave Hiroshi an opening to strike her again, where, this time, he punched her in the face, of all places.

Myosai's beautiful face pushed against the fist forcefully. Realizing they were fighting in close combat while floating, Myosai lowered their bodies to the sand, where she dug her heels and feet into the powdery sand. This gave her enough support to yank Hiroshi up from the floor, where she then lobbed him behind her back, as hard as she could.

She knew if she was really quick, then she could complete this next move. She flew back towards where Hiroshi was sailing now, leaving a trail of smoky sand behind her feet. She launched the helpless Saiyan into the sky, where she then Instant Transmissioned to the Saiyab, now flying high into the clouds.

Alone, punches and kicks would not be enough to hurt this Saiyan. He was a tank. Her ki blasts did some damage, she knew. Maybe if the combined her ki to her Melee combat like that one move, she could have an upper hand in this fight.

"Hey, can you hold this?" She asked. "Thanks."

A ki sphere the size of a basketball materialized in her palm, and she handed the heavy ki ball to Hiroshi, generously. This would have caused the Saiyan to plummet like an anvil, almost comically. If he did not lose that Ki ball soon, he'd be in some big trouble.
